So ultimately my question is if I'm wrong for not getting rid of a friendship that has never hurt me in no way from before my girlfriends time. Should I get rid of the friendship to make her comfortable or do I stand my ground and not get rid of it?

My friend from high school (we just graduated) is going on with the son of an extremely wealthy man-and by wealthy I mean in the billions. I'm Vietnamese. My boyfriend is Mexican. My parent's speak fluent English, his don't. There's an obvious language barrier. I feel like he doesn't invite me out with his family due to this issue. I can't go into detail but I'm in a situation where I'm sort of afraid to let go and let fate take its course. But a lot of them stayed because they were secure. Their husbands were great dads, had a job, helped pay the mortgage. All that. Not one of them had an abusive husband or anything. Now my question is is it normal to think all these crazy things. I feel guilty I didn't know if I would have knew I would have tried and seen if in was a match. I'm finding myself crying. Is that normal? I'm blaming myself for not being a better friend. I just registered to be a donor. And I feel like I should have saved him. For example, when you were young, were you the type that slept around a lot and was all about hook-up and one night stands? If so, how did meeting the right man/woman changed that and/or how did having children change that? Here's a summary of what people tell me: Being young myself, I hear others my age say, "I'll never be like those people who get drunk, have lots of sex, etc. Imagine when they grow up and have a family. Wonder what's it like looking back and thinking about the stuff they did." And I also hear others say, "You only live once. Live life to the fullest, especially when your young. People may make mistakes but you learn from it. You're young! Don't regret any wasted years. Eventually, you can finally settle down and have a family." So I'm curious to hear from any adults here how had an active life in their younger years, and how you look back on it? (If your willing to answer)

I'm a guy, I'm 16 a Junior in high school. My best friend Anderson and I started hanging out at each others houses midway through the year last year. We've had a lot of fun and we met each others family's. His family is very nice and we get along well. His sister Isabella who's my age is very nice to me and doesn't judge me like a lot of girls. When we went to Six Flags 6 weeks ago on Saturday she did what I thought nobody would do, she asked me to come into the "selfie" they were taking with 3 other people we met there and she put her arm around me in it. She's very pretty and Isabella doesn't seem to care about touching me (I'm not unclean, girls usually think I'm disgusting because I'm ugly and I cough a lot due to my CF which they don't know about), Isabella doesn't know about my CF either and she doesn't judge me. I've never had a girlfriend, I've been rejected twice, once last year and again this year on the last day of school. Anyways, it wasn't just that day, Isabella touches me a lot, puts her arm around me, and sits with me. I like her a lot and she's single but I have concerns about dating her because Isabella is my best friend's sister! He's very nice but I don't know how he'd feel about it. I was also thinking about asking her to the prom, but that's in the spring and I doubt she'll still be single. I would LOVE to go to the prom with Isabella and I know for sure Anderson would be fine with it and we could start dating but does she seem to like me?

details: looking for ideas for a 10th anniversary, we will be 26 and 27 at that time. we have 2 children who will be 4 and 7. we are not legally married but are currently spiritually married (made life commitments with one another already and wear rings) i thought of maybe planning a wedding, planning an anniversary party, taking a trip?? any ideas welcome. thank you!!! any fun or exciting suggestions on ways to do that?

I've been in a relationship with an Armenian man for almost 2 years, we were married 1 year and got divorced because his mother didn't like me and make a huge issue with his family and threatened to disown him if he didn't divorce me. We're still together just secretly dating still. How do I handle his controlling ways "he's never wrong attitude" and get the respect from his mother and his family? Ok so I went a class trip and my friends ex boyfriend was going to .ps. they only dated for like a day. So I mostly spent all my time with him and we flirted all time the day after we go back he asked me out I said yes. So the next day she found out and she was alright wth it. So a day after she found out she texted me why him and I told her something I dont really rember so she said " I think he was just desperate thats why he asked u out . And your abby so it makes sence" and I was like what does that mean. Then she said " it means your not the type of girl that gets asked out.
