Me and the child's mother split up and she is trying to keep my child away from me for her spiteful reasons. My question is I have to do the order of filiation to prove I'm the dad before I ask for any visitation rights. Also if I'm allowed to show up to see my child since there isn't any order from court to say I can't. She not allowing to me see my child for reasons that she thinks I'm not mentality stable in my head. Which is false. I only admitted depression that is being controlled. In the other hand she has mental issues due to the fact she wanted to commit suicide while she was pregnant twice. Then claims I have metal issues. What are my options? |

I knew he had a daughter that lived with him when i asked about her mother i was told that they were not together & she was crazy but his focus was just taking care of his daughter. i had not been to his apartment since his daughter was there i didnt feel comfortable enough to meet his child yet. So one day his BM started calling me & texting me. Finally i decided to speak to her. Turns out it wasnt just his BM and she wasnt crazy. She was his WIFE of 16 YEARS he was her first and only and they had a child together & lived together! she knew him since she was 15 and he moved down here with her so she could be close to her family. This man had a whole different side to his life i had no idea about! clearly this had not been the first time he did this to her because she was calm with me she didnt act crazy we actually had a long convo with each other about him and filled in the gaps about him that we both knew wasnt right. When he found out we were talking he was furious called me a million times tried to tell both of us that we were lying to each other but when i refused to speak to him he tried to tell her he didnt know me then said he did but we werent intimate then said i was a stocker but she knew better. I was so hurt & embarrassed & felt even worse for her and that poor child. i havent spoken to him since! |

Posted: 19 Jul 2015 11:35 AM PDT As the title implies, my girlfriend simply won't let me touch a video game if she is in the house. I'm 23 and she is 21. We live together, both work and go to school. She works days and I work nights. I work less days than her (but I work in 12 hr shifts) I spend the mornings playing games while she works. But I also clean, do laundry, grocery shop, and prepare a full lunch/dinner for her ready when she steps in the door. After she gets home the games get shut off and we watch HER shows or do what SHE wants, fair enough, she worked all day. BUT, on my working days I get home and she is sitting there watching netflix. She usually cleans the kitchen so that's nice. But she has zero cooking ability so I am required to cook dinner (again, after 12 hrs of work), and after dinner we resume watching HER shows, I can't even think of playing a game. As a side note, I cook dinner nearly every night, give her foot and back rubs almost every day, and we spend an ENTIRE day once a week (when we both have off) together. I love the time we spend together when we actually do stuff. The other day she told me to put on her shows, so I put netflix on on the lap top and got on my computer to play a game, once she realized what I was doing she threw a fit and said she didn't want to watch tv anymore then wouldn't speak to me. I feel like I have a right to play a game if I want after working 12 hour shifts, but apparently it makes me a terrible, unloving boyfriend. So what's a guy to do? |

Well he just completely quit talking to me for a week and then broke up with me in a text saying we just weren't meant to be and that he is mad that I never do what he wants. I found that he reconnected with an old friend that he used to be infatuated with and now he has alienated his family and friends and will only talk to her. I'm so confused because he met me when I was pregnant and he has been my sons dad every step of the way. He changed his diapers, fed him, clothed him and told everyone he was his son. I was mad for not even a whole day and broken inside. I felt so much pain that I could not sleep and did not eat. I hadn t eaten at all or slept much before hand because I saw it coming and was worrying that it would/did happen. I blacked out while sitting it upset me so badly. Partly, because every time I go there, I often feel uncomfortable and like I am always being scrutinized. I don't particularly like being around my family because they talk a lot and they argue in little arguments. This is my dad's side of the family and they are a very large family. My mom's side of the family I never see because it is very small and they seldom get together. Anyway, I called my grandmother on her birthday a few weeks ago. We talked and she said "call me" and she kept saying to take care of myself. I told her I will. I used to go to the family's on practically every holiday which I personally think is way too often. My aunt even had the nerve to post a Facebook message on my wall "Hey where have you been we haven't seen you lately?" I told her I was busy spending time with my mother and getting ready for my younger brother's graduation. One of the reasons I don't see them is because my mom moved in with me (her daughter), dad, and my older brother for financial reasons (even though they divorced many years ago). I spend the holidays with my mother now because she is alone plus she is my parent. I used to go with my dad to all of these get-togethers. My dad and I are completely estranged. I am planning to move out soon with my mom and brothers near my college. I am 22 and feel like I can make my own decisions. I am not close to my extended family, is this really a bad thing? |

I walked away to put stuff away in the store so that I didn't look like I was listening. I overheard the guy asking "so how is the new girl?" The employee I was working with said "Oh, she's great, she's working really hard." I then came up to the register and the guy said to me "welcome to the store" and smiled. I said thank you. I guess my manager had told him about hiring me. Everyday this week, he has been coming into the store. He works at another store in the same mall and it turns out he is my manager's friend. We have 3 children together and he doesn't like being questioned about his family. He refuses to introduce our children to his parents or anyone in his family for that matter because he has another child with a different woman and his parents think he's an idiot for having 4 kids. I constantly nag him and tell him it's not fair to the kids that they can't meet their grandparents and he thinks I'm just being mean! Our oldest is 8 and has never seen or met her grandparents! Why does he think this is acceptable? He goes to his parents house often and wouldn't say hey these are my kids and if you can't accept them than I will no longer be visiting you. I mean really?? My mother passed away and I never met my father so it's not like they have grandparents on my side. I really just don't understand. These are his own flesh and blood!
