Cuz my dad said he didn't wanna drive cuz we might go to a bar after the museum (its legal where i am to take kids in bars ,& lots of people do it so don't say anything about that). On the train on the way to museum was these kids around my age (boys and girls). They was being real annoying, yelling insults at passengers and throwing newspapers. They didn't do or say anything to me or my dad. They were doing it to this couple in their early 20s & to some older woman & a teenage boy. But my dad just has to get involved, telling them to stop or he's gonna throw them off the train at the next station. Then these kids start on us. Saying my dad is a bully and what, he's gonna throw some kids off a train and telling him its assault and they'll get their dads to beat him up. I toad my dad to just shut up cuz it was embarrassing that my dad cause problem for me, that these kids be calling me names too. Then my dad say to me shhh babe. Then all these kids just bust out laughing, saying my dad is my boyfriend. (This has happened to me before!!) Like why the hell would he call me that when I am already being called names. So I called my dad a stupid dick and moved alone, further up the carriage & my dad still arguing with them until they get off the train. He even followed them to the doors. Then guess what??? They pass by me and one spat at me. I had a spit on my shoe and its all his faukt, that I got called names too! Why does he do this!? Also I spat back at the guy who spat at me. And my dad yelled at me!! Saying have some dignity cuz I wasn't a barn animal like them. Oh but he start arguments with people on trains. Where's his dignity??? And he almost start mother argument by implying they animals. Cuz one tried to get back on the train Then he be mad at me for "sulking" in the museum. Well excuse me if I can't fake hapiness after being embarrassed. When we could of just moved carriages instead of the scene he caused. |

Grew up with them, hip to hip, very close when we were young. Now that I m 24 and they are 20, things are different. One cousin I m very close with and bond well with who I would love to have in my wedding. The other cousin I ve grown apart from. She is not family oriented, very inappropriate in how she dresses and acts, makes the family feel uncomfortable (especially the women), seems to only care about herself, will not bond with me, always on her computer or phone, loves attention.... All of that combined is a huge turn off to me and makes me feel like I don t want her in my wedding. But how can i say no to her, and yes to the other cousin? It s so difficult... It feels like if i had two sisters, i d be choosing one over the other. Any advice??? I know she can be my "personal assistant" but I still feel like there will be a lot of hurt feelings in the family... |

Posted: 30 Jul 2015 12:26 PM PDT My mom is on SS, my dad is on disability because he has MS, they both just sleep all day, all night, up for maybe 3 hours, they are divorced but live in the same house but sleep in different beds, my mom doesn t cook ever, she never cleans, & as of right now, the end of the month, there is hardly no food here, theres no meat, bread, milk, there is just rotten lettuce, carrots & a couple things that wont make a meal.. There are ants and flies everywhere, my niece basically does all the housework. I do the cooking because my mom never will because she "doesn t feel like it" the only thing she ever does is sow and go to church, my dad just goes to church. They say that they are always broke when i ask them for any money what so ever, i have a job and i have to get a ride from my girlfriend because they never wanna go anywhere except for church. They always accuse me of stealing from them when I have never stole a dime from them. The other day i was trying to joke around with my mom with a fake flower, i touched her with it and she screamed and threw a glass mason jar at me. Last night when they got home from church i was watching a movie and she turned the light on, i asked her politely if she would turn the light off and she broke her phone, went in her room slammed the door and went to sleep. I'm not a person that would play games all day.. i still study and do my homework and do everything else.. when i play that game, it makes me feel better.. i don't have friends so i get lonely and you can communicate with people in that game and sometimes it makes me feel better.. it also makes the time go by fast which i like because i don't have a lot of things to do.. my mom always walks in to my room when i start playing the game or while I'm playing it.. and she gets mad.. but before that i was doing my homework and studying but for some weird reason she doesn't walk in or sees me when I'm doing my homework, only when I'm gaming... she took my iPad away bc she thinks i play it all day and night.. i sleep at 12am and i get enough sleep. I'm not a bad daughter so i think thats why she's taking this more seriously.. i never make her mad. i really need my iPad to do my homework and its my laptop to me! she won't believe me that i just recently started playing the game or I'm not addicting.. i just enjoy playing it. i care about my grades and my future and i would totally stop playing if i have better things to do. i am really not additcted. idk how to tell my mom i need my iPad :( she doesn't trust me.. and i can't use my dads laptop because its so slow... and i also don't want her to think I'm addctied to the game.. but i also want to play that game so bad :( |

This is despite me never having drank alcohol in my life, also having no plans of doing so anytime soon. After smelling my breath, they were satisfied I had not drank anything but instead accused me of smoking! I do smell of smoke somewhat but I was at a barbecue; is this not to be expected? I'm only thirteen, so accusations like this are quite absurd. For my age, I'm fairly mature and doing very well at school. Wouldn't I know better than drinking or smoking? Please help! |

I feel like I lie because I live a lie, I truly feel God made a mistake when he made me. I was raised in a strong Christian/Catholic home, to believe God makes no mistakes, all gay people are wrong, the whole ten yards. I however truly feel like I am a man. To me, I know it sounds stupid, but I feel like a lie because I live a lie. Everyday I get up and face the world as, Kristin, the name my mother gave me when I was born a girl. My parents already have a strong suspicion I am gay, but to me I'm not, it's natural for a man to love a woman, right? It's natural to love whoever you love. The reason I haven't told anyone is because they already disapprove of me, my parents, the Pastor, my family, I haven't even told my friends even though they would accept me because I'm scared too. I've always thought I was a boy, for as long as I remember I wanted trucks, to play in the dirt, help my father at his construction job, I prayed for a little brother every night so I could have someone to relate too, then when Julien did arrive, while I did adore him I hated him in a way too, why did god give him what I yearned for so badly for at seven years old, why did he make him a boy? Why not me? For one I do not feel all that comfortable in my family anymore kinda like im growing apart from them idk. I think this has to do with being adopted when i was younger Anyway growing up we had typical arguements but we also got along alright. Eventually he began acting like an *** by acting out by drinking, smoking pot, always making of fun of me and talking to people behind my back. And this always hurt me. Eventually I ended up sticking up for myself by punching him in the face because he had been abusive to my parents and myself. Pretty much has left me alone but ive always felt slightly uncomfortable around him and it may be due to our past idk. I jut want to know for one why he is such an asshole and treats me like crap. Now it may sound dumb but it bugs the hell out of me. because i feel like he is disrespectful to me. Even my boyfriend has seen how he has acted before towards our mom. Yet now when he is a smart-*** to me, my parents say nothing and it bugs the hell out of me and im tired of it. I only have 3 shirts and 2 pants. I have nothing to wear. I asked my mom money for shopping and she said she'd take me instead. But when ever we go shopping, she always makes a scene, embarrasses me, starts screaming, or starts embarrassing conversations with the cashier. I'd go alone but she won't give me the money, the last time she bought me something that was not food was on Christmas, she claims she has no money but she always spends it on her friends and her self, this disappoints me. Any way..... Enough about mother. My dad could take me but he works 6 days a week 12 hours a day and he doenst have time. He has no problem spending money on me and my sister, so I could get money from him, but I feel guilty asking. But the problem is I have no one to take me to the mall/store. I usually do online shopping since no one takes me any where but I can wait 3-5 business days every time i need something. What should I do? I have no clothes and no one to take me places. I can't keep wearing the same dirty chlothes :( |

My dad has little muscle control over one leg, and falls at least several times a week, so my grandpa also lives with him, in case he is injured. I just got back from a month long vacation two days ago, and my grandpa wants me to stay with my dad for three days straight while he goes and visits family. I could not leave at all in this time period, and I haven't seen any of my friends or my mother since I've gotten back. I have an older brother, who works part time. I asked if we could switch off staying with my dad, but they don't trust him because he isn't their 'reliable child'. So, because I haven't been the rebellious teenager for the past several years, they expect twice as much from me. Is it bad that I'm getting really irritated and don't want to babysit my dad for 3 days? "He's taken care of you for 18 years, you can do the same". No. He hasn't. The reason my parents divorced was because he took no part in taking care of us. I've grown up largely without him in my life. He has lived close, so I've made effort to visit him, even though he never visited us while he was still able to drive. He complained that I wasn't there enough, so I made an effort to visit more often. I show up at the house, he gets up to say hello, goes to his room and goes to sleep. All he does is sleep and watch tv. He won't hold a conversation or anything. It's been this way since I can remember. |

Also the other night I was watching TV and she came and smacked me on the head with a remote really hard. Right now I'm having a hard time deciding between two people who want to watch my child when I go back to work. Throughout the end of my pregnany my cousin Joanne offered to watch my child. I of course agreed. She's a stay at home wife, who's wanting to have some practice before she starts having children herself. I thought this was a great decision till I got another offer. The godfather of the child has now offered to start watching him. The godfather has been around constantly since he was born. So my son is already getting use to him. Part of me wants to let him watch him, just because my son needs a man in his life. Both of them are going to be in his life regardless, but I don't know how to decide between the two to watch him. My mother will be watching him on her days off, but she works three days on three days off. So I just need either my cousin or the godfather to watch him on the days my mother and I have to work. |

She had a completely different start in life - it seems like she had no worries while she grew up, no money issues, a decent job - easy to do, a future husband who got her a house (mortgage and all that stuff), a car, an easy job. While I don't like her as a person - lacks manners, not much intelligence or interest in reading/education/culture, hard to talk to (actually - nothing to talk about with her), I feel like she does have more than I do. All my life I focused on my career - I got a PhD in chemistry, travelled a lot around the world for work and vacation, support myself financially, support my parents financially occasionally, when they need it, got better and better paid jobs. Adore my husband and my family, my work, my books. However I feel like she does have more than I do. Different priorities, different plans, easier life, easier choices. Burned steps all the way - at 25 she will soon get married have a house, a car and a husband, a family with kids and no financial struggles. Whereas I built everything from ground up. It took a great deal of effort -intellectual mostly - to be where I am. While I like my life the way it is - I feel it is slightly unfair how she burned steps to get there and I struggled a great deal to get what I have. She is family at the end of the day, but I can't stop wondering - am I in a better place than she is? Did I make better choices than she did? |

There's some things I wanted your opinion on to see if you think its rude or not. For example, I was sitting down on a chair, and my cousin said "Make sure you have good posture and sit up straight" since I have a bad hunch back. Then my aunt and cousin were teaching me how to walk up straight and they kept saying "Don't let your chin down, stand up as straight as you can." And "You're such a beautiful girl, but when you hunch like that, it makes you look unconfident." And everyrine I would hunch back down, they would say "No no, back up." Another thing is, I got a really bad sun burn, and my aunt said "make sure you take care of your skin and moisturize it. I know you want to do modeling, but you need to take good care of your skin." Then today I was eating, and my grandma was sitting next to me. She looked over and said "I've been noticing how you eat lately, and I don't want you to develop bad eating habits. Make sure you close your mouth when you chew because I don't want you out with your friends eating like that. I'm not trying to be mean, I just love you and want to help you." I love my family, but the reason I'm questioning this is because my cousin came up to me today and said "Mariam, I think everyone is being rude to you. You should stand up for yourself" Do you think what my family is being rude or they are just trying to help me? |

MY mother and stepfather kicked me out the day after my seventeenth birthday, my grandma took me in, I had contemplated moving in with her before and she wanted me too because life at home wasn't so good at the time. Well now that I live there, my mother refuses to give me any child support that my father pays her and she says that if I try to go to the courts or call him that she's signing all rights over to him. My father is and abusive piece of crap who I haven't seen or talked to since I was twelve. My great grandmother and my grandma are starting a bunch of stuff with my mom and my mom wants little to nothing to do with me now even though she loves me and frequently tells me so, but I don't know who to believe or anything anymore, they don't want me back at home and I don't want to go home, I do like it at my grandmas but I don't know if I can take all the trash talk and things she does to my parents. Whats happening is tearing me apart, can anyone please help me. I've done some pretty stupid things, just lie mostly, to my parents, about my parents, like I said I've caused this upon myself, I just don't know how to get out of it. I actully just got hired for a job, I start August tenth, at some pizza place. Thing's I've done? Stupid things, talked to my father on face book when I was a kid, in like 2009, lied to get out of assignments at school, threw away homework, I have done some pretty bad things though, I threatened my stepdad a few years ago to get his kids taken away, we had just had a HUGE fight and he smacked me across my face, I hit my brother once for sticking his hands down my pants(He was six) I told him to stop several times and when he did it again and turned around and smacked him |

I am attempting to withhold my son from his father, before anyone says that I am wrong for this, please understand why. From the time my son was born literally in the hospital his father choked me in the hospital simply for posting a picture of my son on Facebook too soon. I've been went on to get abused mentally emotionally and physically for an entire year. This man has drug me through the house by my hair in front of my son while punching me in the face. He has shoved pills into my mouth. And then punched me to make me spit them out. I brought to the judge evidence and where we were discussing the domestic abuse in my childs father does not deny the allegations, simply he says I know and I miss you. I show the judge all these things, and also presented the judge evidence that shows my childs father would not let me see my son every time I attempted to allow him to have visitation with him he would run with him. At one time my family ( my 2 son's and child's father and me) went and stayed with my childs fathers mother. For a little while. I didn't have to leave because I could not deal with the domestic abuse at any level anymore. I allowed my son's father's mother to care for them while I came down to my city to make a living and providing home for them. The judge then said that he is going to allow my son to stay with my sons father for school simply because his grandmother helped |

We're both 16, and feel as if we love each other. But we also are very open with each other and our bodies. We both really want to have sex together and his parents don't care, but my mom does. I really don't want to betray her trust and end up with her being disappointed with me. If I stay with him there is no doubt we will have sex because I want to really bad. All of a sudden I hear my dads voice say "what are you doing" I just said nothing and quickly threw it away. He didn't say anything for a while but half an hour later he asked me when I started, where I get them and he was mainly concerned for my health. But what I'm scared about is if he tells my mum. Im 18, I only smoke when I'm stressed and don't do it enough for it to be a habit like once every 2 weeks or so. He said he wouldn't tell her if I threw them out so its not a big deal for me but she's scary as hell. If he tells her what do I do? SOS PLEASE HELP, NO BULL SHES CRAZY. |

I bought my portable ac because we don't use the central air. my uncle, he pays my roommates rent not mine, found out and he tried to convince me out of it. My portable air conditioner makes a lot of noise. I realize now that I should just be able to use the central air. I mean my parents tell me to use it. My uncle is cheap. We only need to use it like 5 times a month for only about 4 hours a day. My uncle was okay with me using my portable ac because I told him if the electric bill goes too high, I'll pay him. She needs to know where I am at all times and she doesn't even like me kissing boys or anything. I'm 16 and haven't been to a fun high school party or just had a fun crazy night with my friends because I'm terrified she'll be mad at me. I mean I'm not even allowed to be out passed ten and all of my other friends can pretty much come home whenever they want. I just want a little more freedom and a little more understanding. | Posted: 30 Jul 2015 09:16 AM PDT Last night both of my sons had to leave to work out of town. Both their wives are cousins. They are very close. But it's just for two days and i would really love to have both of them spend the night here at my house because it's dangerous at night where they live. People have gotten shot in from of the oldest one's apartment and they have followed her which led her to spend the night at a hotel. She is 24 and has twin babies who are 6 months. The other girl just turned 18 and doesnt have any babies and lives in a luxurious place, doesn't have a job. I have always trusted the older one since she helps us a lot by ordering our prescriptions and taking us to our appointments.. etc... the younger one really doesnt care and only comes once a month. Well, i called the younger one to stay the night because i didnt want her to be scared but i didnt call the other one. Today in the morning, one pf my other sons dropped off my grandson at the 24 year old's apartment. (She babysits him also) and he told her that the other girl spent the night at my house. I called her to check up on my grandson and she seemed disappointed.. kind of like if she really didn't want to talk to me. Was i being unfair? What should i do so she wont be upset? I love them both like my faughters and they are both nice girls. I just dont want th to be upset because they are very close. |

I m 19, male, and they are VERY controlling and abusive. I have zero privacy (not even aloud to lock bedroom or bathroom door) and they have hacked my email accounts and also read my instant messages to friends. Also they regularly go in my room and look thru my stuff and they found my journal and read it. My mother called me a sicko because in my journal I talked about sexual stuff I wanted to do with a girl I was hanging with. They are involved in my job life, social life and love life. Really involved. Always have been since I was a kid. When I was younger they would beat me for the smallest things. I m really angry at them and I told them and they don t care. My two younger siblings don t get this treatment I don t drink or smoke pot or anything bad I just play video games and sports. I don t know if it s because I have really young parents (17 years older than me) or what it is but I d like some advice on how to handle this? Even when I was younger they would come to my school and INTENTIONALLY try to embarrass me in front of my peers by sitting in my classes. My parents always called me "stupid". I don t get why they hate me so much maybe because I m a child from a previous relationship that ended bad? It doesn t help that in public they act like angels and then when they get home they are the devil himself. |

I applied everywhere possible but no one wants to risk me because here you have to be 16+ to work:( anyways I always have to save up my money from Christmas and birthdays or other stuff like babysitting just to pay for my necessities like pads and tampons, hair cuts, ALL my clothing and YES my own food too! My parents say if I want something I need to get it myself as my mom doesn't share any of her pads or tampons. I don't know what to do except cry because I don't have enough money for all this stuff and no joke sometimes I have to put stupid toilet paper in my underwear! I don't know why they act like this because my parents are fairly wealthy, we have a nice house and they make a great amount of money! I would understand if they made me pay for materialistic stuff but they also make me pay for things I actually need and feel parents should provide at least untill their child has a job! There's some things I wanted your opinion on to see if you think its rude or not. For example, I was sitting down on a chair, and my cousin said "Make sure you have good posture and sit up straight" since I have a bad hunch back. Then my aunt and cousin were teaching me how to walk up straight and they kept saying "Don't let your chin down, stand up as straight as you can." And "You're such a beautiful girl, but when you hunch like that, it makes you look unconfident." And everyrine I would hunch back down, they would say "No no, back up." Another thing is, I got a really bad sun burn, and my aunt said "make sure you take care of your skin and moisturize it. I know you want to do modeling, but you need to take good care of your skin." Then today I was eating, and my grandma was sitting next to me. She looked over and said "I've been noticing how you eat lately, and I don't want you to develop bad eating habits. Make sure you close your mouth when you chew because I don't want you out with your friends eating like that. I'm not trying to be mean, I just love you and want to help you." I love my family, but the reason I'm questioning this is because my cousin came up to me today and said "Mariam, I think everyone is being rude to you. You should stand up for yourself" Do you think what my family is being rude or they are just trying to help me? |

It appears now that she is at his whim, as she makes herself available to his schedule because of his "situation". It's been very noticable that since this affair began she kind of stopped caring about spending quality time with my son- she used to see him on the weekends - sometimes for a sleep over - maybe once a month. In the last 2 years- my son hasnt even spent more than 2 hours at her house- and she RARELY sees him. Just calls here and there. I cant help but feel angry towards her for this. I have mentioned it to her before and she got mighty defensive and upset- and promised to spend more time with my son. This was about 6 months ago, and since then. Nothing has changed. Bring it up again or just accept it for what it is? |

She rarely showers even when she has her you know what.. & she never washes her hair... I tell her at least 3 times a day that she needs to shower and she yells "LEAVE ME ALONE GOD" I mean I am showing concern... She is nasty she leaves bloody underwear everywhere she throws her pads on the floor... She doesn't even wrap them up!!! And my brother he doesnt even wipe himself proper and he's get this... 9 YEARS OLD!... My mom always complains that the house stinks... Which it does... Thats why I stay in my room all day... If the house stinks mom then why not FORCE THEM TO TAKE A ******* SHOWER?!?!?! We have a washer and dryer and I was clothes at least once a week and I ask them if they want to wash any and they say no... Then when I tell them to take a shower they say "No I don't have clothes" they do they are just ******* lazy.... I am at my witts end here... I thought i instilled good morals and that she understood that we don't approve of an of that. She says she smokes so that she does not feel angry all the time, She said that it calms her down so that she is not punching walls all the time. She is a survivor of molestation and abuse while in foster care.(I had a breakdown and placed them in foster care until I was stabilized...totally voluntary and self-initiated). Now I feel that I failed her. Am I a good dad? |
