Very controversial topic I'm about to get into, and will probably get hate mail and so on for it. I will try to keep this civil and not get too offensive but I figure it'll piss some people off. How it is socially acceptable for women to alter their appearance using; surgery, make-up, photoshop and cropped pictures. Don't get me wrong I know there are a fair share of men who do the same thing, but nearly every girl in western society from like, 13-50 wear make-up or alter their appearance in some way or another. How is it that if a girl crops a picture on social media to hide her weight it's considered rude for a man to find her unattractive when they meet due to her weight? In my experience (I'm not talking for everyone) it seems that women are allowed to be extremely picky about what they find attractive, but if we won't date a girl for not shaving her legs, or being a tad over weight we're considered man-pigs or shallow. However, the same girl who gets rejected for being over weight will get applauded for not wanting to date a guy who is? Where is the logic in that? What I'm really trying to get to with the past 2-3 paragraphs is; How do women think in this regard. The next question is directed more to men, how do you feel about women altering their appearance with methods named above? Do you feel cheated some how? Or do you think it's ok? So I have a friend who I don't fully trust with guys, and the question is how should I tell her I don't trust her/deal with the situation?
