Question: Why are older men threatened by me? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 08:21 PM PDT At my job I work with patients and when I go in the room to ask if they need anything the wife seems to be attracted to me. Most of the time our patients are 70 years old plus. So my question is why would they be so threatened by me just because I'm good looking? Do they seriously think I would go after their 70 year old wife? It just sounds really stupid and irrational to me.

Question: Engaged to be married but have a issue. Did I do right ? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 08:16 PM PDT My fiancΓ©e can't seem to let go of her abusive ex. She claims he is stalking and obsessive. But he don't fit that profile now. So I told her if she doesn't quit talking about him, I will not marry her. I meant it. I'm tired of this crazy sh**. She keeps saying he stalks her at work and today, told me that he talked to her but she told him to leave her alone. She says she is afraid of him. But don't work places have managers, that will run off unwanted customers ? She says he told he wants to be friends but she told him no. I was pissed. I flat out told her, " No wife of mine will be friends with an ex-boyfriend. " I told her if he is so damn bad, she needs to go to therapy and tell her family. (mom doesn't know ) Did I do right by telling her that if she can't get over him, I won't marry her ? Also note : my fiancΓ©e lies to me a lot cause she likes drama.

Question: My marriage is not fulfilling? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 07:21 PM PDT Been married for 15 years, never really had that 'in love' feeling although I did love him. I felt something was missing and engaged in emotional affairs. Husband knows, he was angry but now wants to work it out. Problem is I don't want to be intimate with him, I don't even want to sleep in the same bed. I haven't done either with him in 6 months. I crave sexual and emotional feelings that I can't get with him. But we are great friends and compatible otherwise. It feels like divorce is such a drastic action to take, but I am dying inside every day. What can I do?
Question: Should I leave my wife? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 07:11 PM PDT Alright so basically, we've never had sex. I've been with her for 3 years and now we're married. She said she wanted to be married before we have sex. I respected her decisions, now we've been married for two months and nothing... For the past months I've been telling her I feel a little horny and she said "ok" and just kept doing what she was doing. All she ever wants to do is spend time with me and kiss. And for the girls saying "wow you just want her for sex" no I don't. But it wouldn't hurt to have sex sometimes. I even asked her when are we gonna have kids and she said" I don't plan on having kids since I don't want sex" which got me mad. So should I divorce her???? I probably will but I wanna hear you guys out.
Question: Do wives get worried when their husbands receive text messages? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 06:57 PM PDT I sent a guy I know a text message or 2 innocently just asking him a question, but he told me that he was supposedly driving. I figured that he must be with his wife. it's not like we're having an affair. I just asked him a question, but maybe she doesn't know about me.

It's disgusting, but is it even a bit similar to just cheating on your wife/husband? Or is it just...simply going out with another woman while your wife knows? |
Question: How should I take this? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 05:57 PM PDT So long story short there is this girl at work im kinda dating shes 19 and im 22. we went on a couple date and had a great time together. After that at work though I guess she thought I was kinda watching her/bothering her too much but all the other guys try and talk to her and get with her too so I just kinda passively was doing that. Didnt really mean to. I text her the next day and kinda apologized because i felt like I was bothering her at work. Anyways after she text and said I was fine but she cancelled our plans for that day because she said she was super tired and slept like only 3 hours after work that night. We made plans for today and last night she said the time we had planned 7pm was still good but today she text me saying she couldnt do tonight because she was going like an hour away somewhere with her parents. So she cancelled twice now after that night but she did however offer to hang out sunday because she said she's free so now we have plans sunday. Do you think she's just kinda pushing this off and trying to let it die out or that she really does still want to get together. Ever since that night I do feel like the way she texts me is kinda different, not really as many :) faces and such. Or am I just really over thinking this?

Question: Has society loosened their perspective on marriage and parenthood? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 04:13 PM PDT It just seems that romances these days are mostly about money. I'm a 27 year old woman single woman with no kids and whenever I think of myself married and being a mother, it just seems like a lot of stress and bills are attached to that. If I choose to be a single, independent woman for the rest of my life, will people look down on me because of that? Or can people respect me for not wanting to be a mother or wife because there's too many expectations that comes with both of those titles?
Question: Am I wrong or is he mentally ill? I feel like I'm going to lose my mind? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 03:43 PM PDT Sometimes I can be demanding on my husband and complain about things. Sometimes I'll talk down of him when I get annoyed. I may criticize. However, my husband reacts to this by grabbing me against my will. Screaming in my face. He's fheown me to the floor and hit me before. He's left bruises. I finally got the police involved. Now he fled and said he was never coming back. He facetimed me after 24 hours of not having a single idea where he was. And he didn't seem to understand the degree of what he's done is. He just didn't show up for work and won't be working again tonorrow. He's fhreatened suicode and has taken knives to his legs. Is he mentally ill or am I a pathetic sicko?
Question: Does a man have the right to complain? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 03:28 PM PDT Does a man have the right to complain? He married a woman that has two daughters from a previous relationship (two different fathers never married them). He wife tells him that she does not want him to have a job, because she expects him to be a stay at home father and spend more than 60 hours a week with her two daughters, that are less than three years old. She says that she does not believe in divorce because her parents have been married for more that 30 years. She has a job and works about 40 hours a week. She explains to him that she gets more than $5,000.00 a month in child support from the fathers of her daughters, and this is why he does not need a job. She tells her husband that he has to make sure that her daughter's comply with the court ordered visitation requirements with there biological father every other week.
Posted: 02 Jul 2015 03:25 PM PDT so my husband barely shows any interest in me. he loves me and tries to spend as much time with me as he can. we spend at least 3 days a week together because he's always working but i respect that but i feel like if i just "dissapear" he would learn to appreciate me more. so i think i am going to runaway for about 6 months. no calls to my family create a personalized checking account without his notice so he wont know where my funds are going to ect i think once i dissapear and return he will miss me so much and wouldn't want to lose me ever again. of course i will have to come up with a backstory as to what happened to me. but that's all he needs to know and i will create the "backstory" later. is this legal?
Question: What is it like to be married? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 02:55 PM PDT A healthy one.
Question: Would it be better for me to marry a career woman or a housewife? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 02:47 PM PDT I don't think there's anything at all wrong with women having careers but I'm asking which would be most beneficial to me. If I married a salarywoman I would effectly double our income compared to my standard salary. I expect housework would have to be split 50/50. If I married a housework, she could support me in my career. I wouldn't have to do any housework, I could have meals waiting for me when I get him... Basically it would allow me to devote myself more fully to my career. Without other concerns I'd be able to work overtime, get more money, promotions, etc. So which is better for a man? To marry another earner and so have twice the combined income or to marry a housewife and so be able to devote himself more completely to his work?

Question: What is this girl trying to do? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 01:17 PM PDT Ohkay. So my husbands ex girlfriend stays the night with his mom and is over there every sing day. She basically lives there. She just got recently married to a military guy and got a new house way across town. But that doesn't stop her from being at my husbands moms 24/7. Me and my husband and our little girl can't even go visit his mom without the ex being there. So why is she always there? Especially since she has a husband and a nice house of her own. I think she's just staying over there bc we (my husband and I) drop by there every once in a while and she stays just so she can see him. No one says anything to her about being over there everyday either. I don't get it. Its weird. Someone please explain.

Question: Is it normal to have long periods of time where you feel lonely when in a marriage? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 09:47 AM PDT My husband and I have been together for ten years, but suddenly I'm lonely. He's been my best friend but he's been distant lately. It's not just him either, I find myself looking around wondering what I'm doing here. I'm completely dependent on him. I don't have a driver's license so any social life without him is nonexistent. I gave up college when I found out I was pregnant, choosing to stay home with her since my husband's job paid enough for us to live comfortably. We now have four children and even though I adore them, I can't help but be lonely. I still wonder when I'm going to be able to have a life outside my home. He does. He's gone more often than he's home and when he's home he's got his nose in the tv or his phone instead of being mentally present. So I'm left with no one to talk about things with. We have rare moments where we'll sit and watch something together. We're still "active" in our "private" life but to me it lacks emotion. It's more about the release, well his anyway. I'm not trying to throw a pity party here, I'm just not sure where to go from here. I don't know how to fix things when he won't acknowledge there's a problem. We live in a rural area. Maybe 300 people live in our town, mainly older couples. It's an old coal camp, not much here. The closest store is a twenty-five-minute drive. My parents take me places when I need to go out and my husband is not available, as sad as that is. I've tried twice in the last year to get my license, but I don't possess the ability to parallel park so I've not been able to pass the test. Thanks for all the helpful ideas. I guess I just need to step up and get out there. Also, the friends thing is hard to navigate. I've always been 'one of the guys' and my husband never really got that so that is why I don't have many friends. When given the choice, I chose him. While I know not all women are catty most of the ones in town with me are very...old fashioned and we'd have to many differences. ***Too many***
Posted: 02 Jul 2015 09:37 AM PDT Husband and I got into a really bad conformation over phone yesterday, to a point where I was ready to call police and tell them everything. He doesn't live here anymore( and I don't know where he is) but last few weeks his temper has gotten really bad with me and physically with the kids. He has threatened me so many times that he would take the kids and. House and everything if I ever said anything. We'll during our phone call he said I would be the worst mother ever if I told police and that I was a b----, c---, worthless and that he wish I would jump off a bridge and die and that he would help. What?!? I am so scared of what he will do and somehow get out of all of it and somehow end up taking kids and everything. He said I don't deserve to live. I don't have any money and can't afford a lawyer, do I just go to police, is it to late for police, he said they wouldn't believe me or the kids and that I am putting all this in kids head. Which I haven't they have come to me screaming and scared of daddy
Question: Do you think my I am being disrespectful OR is my ex husband overreacting? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 09:20 AM PDT I have been divorced now for over a year...I just recently started to date again. I met a guy a few weeks ago we hit it off pretty well but nothing serious as we are still getting to know each other. My ex husband asked me what was my plans for the 4th of July. I said probably just grill out me and the kids and if you and your son would like to come over you are more than welcome but I will have other guests there as well. He began to question me asking me if it was a male or female friend. He then said that he doesn't like surprises and that I would be disrespecting him. How is that so...we are divorced, we are not intimate nor have I been sending him mixed messages. So how is that considered disrespectful. I like alone and he lives alone we are not a couple just friends. I try to be nice because I know he doesn't have family here. I will take any feedback.....but I need a man's opinion on this.
Question: Accident last night? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 08:49 AM PDT So me and my wife been married for 12 years. She tried the pill and was one of the rare people that got a bad side effect from it. Our choices were other methods but she didn't want to and I never got around to getting fixed. We never wanted kids but it was one of those things "if it happens it happens" and we agreed to keep it. Last night we went to a bar, stayed for a long time and she got drunk and I was buzzed. Actually I was more then that when I got home I drank even more.Went out back and had some whiskey. I went out back and came in to find her and she was passed out flat naked on her stomach. I thought this was so hot and I tried to talk to her and there was no coming to. Well the buzz must have got the best of me as I took my clothes out and proceeded to screw her vag from behind. Unfortunately, it didn't come to my thoughts until this morning but I forgot to pull out!. I was supposed to come on her butt and leave her be but I ended up watching tv and woke up out of the blue 6 in the morning and we both have the week off so was going to sleep in but now I'm worried? yes, the method has worked for this whole time but do I need to go to a drug store to get the morning after pill for her? It's almost 11am and she's still asleep. I checked on her and she still has a pulse btw. Excuse me it is not rape wtf you talking about? She lets me on a regular basis do her as I please. My wife just woke up and I told her what happened last night. She is going to take care of it and she laughed about it. I also told her you woman out there she thinks your a bunch of weirdoes. We are in love and have trust in one in other and she gives 100% consent to do whatever she wants to her free of pain and misery and I also give her the same. Too bad your marriages must be that dull you would actually put the rape card on me. All of you that said that should be ashamed of yourselves. Bye!

Question: I am a 51 year old under-sexed wife with an over-sexed hubby. How can our marriage work? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 08:15 AM PDT My husband would have sex 3 times a day, 7 days a week if I agreed to it! I can't be naked in front of him (to take a shower for example) without him making a lurid comment or going in for a quick grope. Cooking in the kitchen provokes the same reaction... a quick breast squeeze, bottom squeeze. I can't even lay on the couch to watch TV without the invasion of his hand down my pants! He says I should take it as a compliment that he thinks I'm so sexy. I have told him that it makes me feel like a piece of meat & so he has curbed his behaviour a bit. I was highly sexed during the honeymoon phase but 8 years later, I've lost interest completely. I couldn't care if I never had sex again. My husband is forever complaining that once a week isn't enough & so he has bought sex toys & videos to try & get me in the mood. I know men need sex & I feel bad that Im depriving him but for me its a chore. Mainly because its never a quickie... he turns every time into a production of candles, music, foreplay... & 1-2 hours later...!! I know there are many women who would kill for that. So how do I make this work long term for both of us? Apart from his insatiable sex drive... I love him very much & he is a wonderful husband.

Question: Get a person back after its over / divorce? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 04:09 AM PDT Me and my wife of 6 years with 2 kids are getting a divorce. It's been about 10 days since she left for her parents house for our seperation. She brings the kids over every few days for a few hours and that's about it. She doesn't want me to call or text or anything. Admittedly, I've been a bad husband. I'm willing to change. When you have so many days alone to think and reflect about what you did you. She says she doesn't love me anymore except as the father of her kids. Has anyone ever been in a relationship that ended sour like this and was able to get back with them? How?
Question: Can my husband take my dogs in the divorce? Posted: 02 Jul 2015 02:56 AM PDT My husband and I are divorcing. I left him almost 3 months ago, moved to a different state with my family, and took all the animals with me. I filed for divorce, and now he says that he wants me to be responsible for 50% of the house he bought (solely in his name), 50% of the car that is also only in his name, and he wants the dogs. He bought them for me as a gift. He just got sentenced for a misdemeanor- prohibited use of a firearm. He also had a Domestic violence charge against him, but I didn't go to court to testify because I was afraid so it was dropped. I still have a police report from that night, and pictures of our apt he destroyed. I also have documentation of all Vet records (all paid by me), numerous pictures of taking them to the park, license paperwork, etc. Is that enough to keep the dogs and convince the courts that I should be the sole owner? He hasn't paid a dime for them since he bought them and gave them to me.
