Someone whom I thought was a good friend for 15 years told me to lose his number because I told him I didn't like the party he threw that was supposed to be in honor of my bday but turned out to be something else. One of my friends invited me to a party yesterday and then she left me claiming that her medication caused her to forget to pick me up. She didn't forget to go to the party though?? I'm living with my ex-boyfriend who dumped me a month after I moved in with him and now he's starting to stay out all night. Is this some type of test from God? Is he telling me to close all these doors? End friendships I've had for years and start over? Anyway, my mother and I get along beautifully. She is not the type of mom that interferes in my life. She couldn't care less when/if I get married, have kids, etc. But, lately, she has been constantly mentioning I should get a dog. And I have told her, over and over, I do not have time for an animal right now. But, whenever the breeder they bought their dog has puppies to sell, she makes it a point to tell me. And it's not even a breed of dog I want. When I do decide I want to get a dog, I want a breed that isn't high maintenance. They have a VERY high energy/high maintenance breed. Also, I have told her over and over, we plan to rescue. She makes it a point to remind me how hard it is to rescue. Isn't it still worth trying? I just don't get it. My mom is not the intrusive type. She has never cared whether I have kids or not. But, when it comes to animals, she seems to think I need to own one. I have to tell her, every time, I am not ready. She is my mother. And I love her. I don't want to hurt her feelings. I love dogs! I love animals! I adore her dog! I call him my little brother and I spoil him with love and affection whenever I see him. But why can't I seem to get her to understand I don't want to own one? I am asking for advice, because it always makes me feel so guilty. The hurt in her eyes when I tell her I cannot buy a puppy right now, crushes me. I know it's not really her business. But no one wants to hurt their parent's feelings. We hardly have oppotunities. However now my company is sending me on business trip to somewhere near his country. I requested for few days off so we could me aftert. Now the problem is, he use to work at this place and left for couple of months and today was his first day to get back to work at the same place. He is very hard working and his payment is higher and so would allow us to get married per legal. He use to earn less than legal requirement. Now my trip is next mmonth and he don t think its nice to ask for 4 days off to meet me. It is really difficult to understand as the opportunity to meet is so rare,now that I am traveling close to him so I ask him if u tell the employer they will understand. But he do not think it is nice to take 4 days off after a month of returning to this work place. My opportunity to travel doesn t happen often as well. I cant visit him because I don t have visa nor much money. I thought if just explain to employer and commit that u can finish your task on time is sufficient but he think it is not just that. They won t take him seriously later. He knew these people. While my trio is happening. I don t want to argue with him. Am I not being underatanding or is he not understanding me that this is such a great opportunity to meet. Pls help explaining , advise me. Thank you so much. |

My bf is living in UK while I'm living in Taiwan. We planned to meet this October and I'm the one who's going to fly over there. I set my butt to work this summer to pay for the plane ticket and so on. we arranged that he'd pay 50% for the plane ticket and the accommodation. But the wage here is so low, we only get 3.7USD per hour, so I took 2 jobs to work 14hr/day, 7day/week with no breaks. He has a job and get paid 10.2 per hour (He only works 8 hours a day and 3 days a week. and got pay holidays, which I have none). I got so pissed off when him sent me messages like "I'm going to a party" etc. while I was at work! I don't know how to cope with this cuz I got so depressed from working and he's the one who's going to have fun with friends. He even booked a ticket to the Disneyland in France this August with his bestie (by the time he booked them we haven't met yet. He's going to spend 200 pounds there) Recently he even bought a new macbook just to play world of warcraft... I literally don't know what to do. He hooked up before, which is a big issue in Asia, but I forced myself to accept his past (and I'll just leave other ridiculous things in private). Besides, In order to talk to him, I stay up every night and go to sleep at the same time. I only applied with my 2 other best friends hoping that maybe we get chosen for the same university but we didnt :( I chose to resign from my application but I feel so bad right now. He even called her "honey" and continued to say "that's why I love you" and "can't wait to see you again." I just don't know how to approach the situation without accusing her of anything. My dad is nothing but good to her and they rarely fight so it doesn't make sense to me. She's been spending a lot of nights out also. Please help. |

Posted: 05 Jul 2015 10:02 PM PDT I was married for 18 years, divorced for 4 years, (separated for 6 years) I m over my ex.I had 3 children before I met him that he raised and we have 5 children together our youngest ones are 12 .he isn t in our lives now.he became abusive at our 10 years of marriage .he is with one of the girls that he cheated on me with (which our oldest daughter is the same age of his g.f.)they now have a baby.he s went on with his life and my problem is I can t seem to get on with mine. I don t know what is wrong with me.every time I meet a nice man that wants to be my friend and we seem to hit it off then for some reason I stop talking to them and I don t call them back. Part of me wants a relationship and marriage then part of me just enjoys being single and spending all my time with just my children. I know this may sound strange but I m not interested in a sexual relationship . I m just trying to figure out why I just can t bring myself to get on with my life, I am trying. I loved my ex so deeply that i have forgave him many times for cheating on me and I took it really hard when he left us for the tenth and final time. However what confused me was why he was with her during our separation/divorce he kept coming back and spending the nights with me,I finally stopped that 3 years ago. So I m looking for advice on why I can t seem to go on.I have had plenty of opportunity and I just blow them off.and no I don t love my ex any more, he actually scares me and he s very mean.I m 46 |

| Posted: 05 Jul 2015 07:21 PM PDT Both his parents know he's a car guy. And he's wanted a two seater sports car for awhile. But, the most recent time he brought up getting a 2 seat sports car, his mom responded in slight shock. She then asked him "Why a two seater car?" So, he told her he doesn't have use for the four seats he has now. And he said he most likely never will. She then said (in a slightly less serious tone) "who's going to drive us around when we get old?" He just smiled and lightened the mood by saying "I don't think you have to worry. Dad will be driving around for many years." I couldn't figure out why she got so worked up. I know she does not actually care that much about who will drive them around when they get older. I thought maybe she thought we'd need room for kids, but we don't plan on having kids. And ,I have always thought were aware of this. Why else would a parent freak out if their grown-up child stated they wanted a 2 seater car? By the way, I have been really supporting his choice in a car. Because....well...I encourage any rebellious behavior in him when it comes to his mother. She is VERY pushy and controlling. And I LOVE it when he does whatever the hell he wants anyway. So...he has my full support. |
| Posted: 05 Jul 2015 06:28 PM PDT I moved from Tennesee to Ohio into the house with my grandparents. Everything was fine until my mom came up and brought her addiction with her. I left to come back here because my dad was addicted to shooting up and smoking dope like crack etc. My mom got arrested for pretending to be someone else to try n get away with getting fake prescriptions from he pharmacy. She was put under a diversion so i dont know if it is seen on her record. Her and my dad are both unfit to raise me, and I really hate how my mom yells at me all the time because of her withdrawals since she cant always get drugs like she could down there. Sometimes i think im more mature than she is . She is two faced and lies to everyone just so they think she's innocent and puts all the blame on me and says im a bratty child and wont listen. She is addicted still and snorts and yells at me all the time for no reason. How do i get out of this? She wont let me move with my aunt even though the school offers better things and she cant raise me. She has no job she is living off of my grandparents. She is making excuses sayin she is gonna get settled soon. We've been here for months how do i get to live with my aunt and uncle? |

I had the cleaning shift while she was upfront at cashier.. To put this in here WE BASICALLY NEVER TALKED TO EACH OTHER OUTSIDE OF WORK! When I walked around her or near her she 75 percent of the time looked at me but didn't smile. On my break I was ordering food and she was on cashier and when I first walked up she said "hey" while looking directly at me throughout the whole ordering sequence.. She even grabbed my food and gave it to me directly in my hand. When I was done cleaning and I was downstairs in the crew room area chillin (we Mcd workers have a small hangout room) she walked in and a few more people were there talking to me and when she saw me she stared at me but still kept a straight face but talked to everyone else.. ignoring me sorta lol When I talked while she was there she was looking at me while listening then when people left it was only me and her.. I didn't say anything lol I know it sounds bad but I honestly think she isn't interested. But then again she kept sighing cause it was so quiet.. so idk After she was done she got up and got her I guess diary book or something? and started writing so I got up and walked out to give her privacy.. After that we both met again upstairs and she kept glancing at me. I don't know if she's shy and interested or just doesn't like me? does she like me? is she shy? thoughts? advice!! I should not say she ignored me when I walked in she did notice me but not say anything that's how she is when she sees me. And when she said "hey" to me it was a soft but like really kind hey aha AND she didn't really speak to EVERYONE she mostly answered people's questions.. Also when I got up and left after those people left I came back downstairs and she was there staring at me every time I walked by.. |

But I have feelings for someone else. I really don't want to feel this way for this person especially because this person is a big no go zone! He is my partners childhood friend! Haven't always felt this way for him. It started a couple years ago when I was pregnant and I had a dream about him and ever since I see him differently. I just ignored these feelings. My boss suggested that I change phone provider because I need a reliable communication, which I did. Few weeks later, she wanted to be added to my line and she said she would like to use that line for "classified people" "classified subject". I agreed. She and I drove to Verizon and had been added to my line. She also requested to have her no in the NY area code. I didn t mind. However, two months has past she never used that phone line but with me. And when she and I would text about just anything - she would use that phone. Now could someone tell me something about this? What do all this mean? Did she want a classified communication with me? Does she have feelings for me? |
