Question: My fiancee is keeping our engagement secret.? Posted: 01 Feb 2017 08:34 PM PST So, I just got engaged, but my fiancee is afraid to tell her parents and/or just about anybody she knows. I know she likes to keep things low key, but I think she s going a little overboard. What should I do? |
Question: How to word "Bring your own chair" on a wedding invitation? Posted: 01 Feb 2017 05:59 PM PST Our wedding is this summer. Very informal, laid back, "rustic" if you will. It will be in the backyard of the grooms eldest sister, who had her wedding there 5 months ago (she kindly offered us the same venue). How should I write that if the guests cannot stand for long periods of time (it's going to be a short ceremony, with a potluck dinner and dancing afterwards), to bring their own outdoor chairs? So far, I have: Attire: Casual - dress for the weather. . . . . . Comfortable standing shoes. . . . . . Friendly advice: If you cannot stand for long periods, feel free to bring an outdoor chair. Should I just leave it at "Feel free to bring your own outdoor chair?" Other suggestions? Thanks so much. Or "Feel free to bring an outdoor chair if standing is an issue?" |
