Question: Bridesmaid cancelled last minute!?! How to deal with this? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 03:17 PM PST Im getting married in 4 weeks one of my bridesmaids just cancelled on me. She said she cant afford it. She knew it 8 months before. I cannot believe she just did this. Im so hurt! When I asked her to be my bridesmaid I knew I was asking a lot, cause of her financial situatio. We even paid for her ticket. She also agreed and said yes to everything I asked her. I planned her in everything! She could ve saved money. I told her how I felt about it and that the rooms and everything we paid for cannot be cancelled anymore. And that she still needs to pay it cause we aint paying that too! She said I should've got a insurance because these things can happen. I was so mad, pissed and frustrated. I told her that I have enough things to worry about and this is the least thing I should be worrying about. I told her that its her problem and responsibility not mine. The convo was very emotional, confronting and hard. After saying all that I thought about it very well. I txted her and explained that she might have done her best but maybe her best wasn't enough for me and maybe I just expect too much from her. That it's dumb to end our friendship over one day.. she didnt reply anymore. |
Question: Are moms always right? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 03:09 PM PST I grew up with no parents so I can't say much but my fiance is 25 and Im 24 and his mother thinks im not good enough for him and along with his ex girlfriend. They think im not ready for him and he should be single and it hurts me but i dont say nothing. Reason she thinks that is because he has a son and his mom wants him with his ex. But he doesnt want to be with his baby mother because all she does is smoke weed. |

Question: Can you get married under a $20 budget? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 08:31 AM PST The vision I have in my head is where you two plan the wedding on a beach, call a friend who knows a pastor and make your own dress/or buy a dress at goodwill, same with him, don't worry about shoes buy flip flops because you'll be on the sand and then get married. The End. Or find a really good priest/pastor with a kind heart who will marry you two fore free and with no problem, maybe a $2 donation but that's it. Does it help that I'm a female asking this question? |

Question: Is it normal to have bridesmaids meetings freguently a year proir to the wedding ? Posted: 06 Feb 2017 07:14 AM PST My dad is getting married and although his fiancé and I have had our problems I am trying to be supportive for the sake of my dad. She has asked me to be one of her brides maids and I m very grateful and happy for it! I m always looking for cool ideas for the wedding since she wants to have a country style boho wedding at a lake house. But she keep setting up these brides maids meetings and telling me about it last minute. And the wedding is not even until September! I m a full time collage student and I plan EVERY THING out ahead of time. And I m ALWAYS exhausted because I even have a side job. My point is I m just busy and I think she and her other brides maids talk about me in a negative way because I can never make it to the meetings. But don t you think these meetings are a little excessive since the we d is so long from now ? |
Posted: 06 Feb 2017 06:39 AM PST My fiance and I want to run off and get married with least hassle possible.(November wedding) I am looking for somewhere that makes it easy to get a marriage license ( waiting periods, witnesses, etc) but isn't as 'cliche' as Las Vegas. Preferably somewhere we can just show up, get hitched, and then do some sight-seeing. Any ideas? |
