Well about a week ago he sent me a snapchat picture of a paper I wrote for English class.. and it was embarrassing because I had to use my vocab words in sentences that are "funny." (Keep in mind I wrote this towards the beginning of the school year!) I asked him where he got it and he said that this guy named mike found it on the ground! I was kinda embarrassed because the sentences were so dumb and I kinda like this guy! Well a week passes and today towards the end of school he calls out my name in the hallway and hands me folded up paper. I thought he was passing me a note but it turns out it was my paper that was found on the ground! Him giving me that note sorta sparked a light-hearted conversation between us and it was nice! But my question is, am I over thinking this? Why would he keep my old English paper that was found on the ground, espescially when he's not even the one who found it? Was it just an excuse to talk to me in person? Please tell me if you think I'm overthinking this. Thanks :) |

I just got out of a relationship not too long ago and so did she. I was dating around and it became serious between both this girl, Jessica, and another girl. I couldn't make a decision between the two. I let time get the best of me and as always I lead these two girls on for too long. I lost both of them, Jessica blocked me from communicating to her at all, but years later I still can't stop thinking about her. Should I reach out and tell her how I feel just so I can maybe move on? Since I was blocked I never really got the chance to say how I felt about her. I don't expect her feelings to change now of course, but idk what else to do to really move on and just forget about her. I'm not allowed to drive with her (my parents are super strict) and would never be able to go with some random guy my parents haven't met in the first place. I really want to go though. So since my friend lives a few blocks away, I was gonna get dropped off at her house, we'd wait an hour, pick her boyfriend and the other guy up, see the movie, and be back before my parents picked me up. But I have a couple concerns: 1) what if my parents call me while I'm at the movies? 2) how could I make this plan a little more foolproof? |

We've been friends since the beginning of the year, but we got closer at the start of the semester. We have a class together where it's practically a study hall, and we always sit right next to each other. His legs are always pressed against mine. Sometimes he'll put his hands on my knee or thigh, and he's been doing it more often lately. He plays with my hair, also, and sometimes holds/plays with my hands. When we're speaking to each other, we're always looking at each other and smiling brightly. I've noticed that sometimes he lowers his eyes, and I'm not sure if he's looking at my boobs or if he's simply looking down. I don't sense any bit of nervousness coming from him, more so comfort, which is why I'm not sure if he likes me or not. I know some others have noticed us, and a few people are shipping us together, but that doesn't really mean anything to me. What do you think? |

She seems really fun and I would really like to get to know her but I am not entirely sure where I stand with her. So here s the thing, when we talk to each other via the office communicator, it doesn t seem like the conversation lasts very long. She doesn t quite ignore my messages or whatever but I am not sure if the conversation is very responsive. I mean it sort of flows but after a few topics she will stop replying. It could be that she is busy with work or simply not interested in the conversation. Which is fine but her in person seems different. She seems relaxed with me in person. We hangout a few times as a group either for group lunch or jogging.hiking. She seems comfortable with me and does seem to talk a whole lot more. She shares quite abit about herself like her family, her during school previously stuff like that. Nothing too deep. She also seems to sit next to me in whatever group outing we have and seems pretty comfortable in the car with me (she picked me up to a group jogging thing we went for). But with that being said, she also seems perfectly fine going out lunch alone with other people but never alone with me. Now I am feeling a little weird. I mean I don t really care if the crush reciprocates or whatever but I do like her as a friend and would like to get to know her more but at this point I am not entirely sure if she is comfortable/uncomfortable with me. Here s the story:summer before college (both going to same college), I left for summer job, never got to see each other, had a lot of petty arguments over the phone, things started to fade, I left the country for the last month of summer, time zones were off so we could barely even talk on the phone, I read a bunch of articles telling me it was best to be single at the start of college and I was easily influenced considering the new chapter in my life, I came back to the states, didn t contact my girlfriend for the first three days because I knew it meant we would break up, we finally met and broke up 2 days later. Seemed completely mutual. Found out soon after it wasn t mutual for her. We never really got any closure. As time went on I kept thinking about her, I thought it was just because the breakup was fresh, but I have found myself not being able to connect with any other girl. Last Halloween we both got drunk and madeout at a party. I thought "I just did a stupid drunk thing" but I didn t regret it for some reason. After a lot of though, I have come to the conclusion that the breakup wasn t mutual for me either. I want to get back together with her but I don t know how. I have heard from a friend that she isn t very fond of me considering I kind of fu**ed up with our breakup and never gave her any closure or real reasoning. And I feel like just asking her out after a year and a half is too much to expect from her. Any ideas? |

I m on "Bumble" -basically Tinder, but women have more control and is advertised as more serious and "Coffee Meets Bagel", which is advertised as a no hook up app. Yes, these are apps, but I don t think that s the problem. Whenever I get talking with a guy, we ll exchange a few messages, but nothing ever happens. It gets too casual and I almost always end up with "So, what are you doing now?" I m online dating so I can go on dates, not to have a pen pal. I don t expect to be asked out immediately, but after a few solid messages, I do. Sometimes, I ll try to be polite and say something like, "I m too busy to talk right now, but if you would like to ask me out on a date so we could talk in person, I d be cool with it!" Some guys get the hint, others do nothing. Am I doing something wrong? I don t think I m being too pushy because I m setting standards- I want to talk in person fairly soon to see if we click. Ok here's the situation: my girlfriend and I are both 22 years old. I live with a couple roommates and she currently lives with her mother. My girl has disabilities, she is a little slow, but her and I are in love and we want to live together and get married. Her mom is crazy, she won't let her daughter be with me at all and all she does is control her life and takes advantage of my girl because of her disability and thinks she has custody of her which is complete bulls*it because she is 22. My girl wants out of there desperately. Her and I have been keeping contact with each other secretly and this is what we mutally have planned: in a few days I'm planning to drive over to her place in the middle of the night and help sneak her out of that place then we'll get married when daylight comes. Her mom can't stop us. I know this is utterly insane, but that's our plan. Her and I don't care if her mom finds out or not because it won't even matter. My girl is an adult and can make her own decisions. Plus its not kidnapping if she's willingly coming with me. We're both aware what's the worst that happen but we're not going to let that stop us from being together. Do you guys have any advice or tips on what else we should do? Please and thanks. |

I usually don't have anything to add since I can't relate to anything they talk about. I usually just say things like, "oh wow" "that's interesting," or "that's funny." How do you respond when you don't give a damn about what people are talking about? |

| Question: Should I text him back? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 06:53 PM PST So this guy that I am into kind of flaked on me last night (Tuesday) We had made plans to go to lunch on (Wednesday). He ended up changing it to (tuesday). I suggested we go to dinner after I get off of work. He said "I m up by say 7:30 I m down". I told him "ok well just let me know" I waited all day to hear back from him never heard back. Keep in mind he works over night. All I was asking for was an hour or 2 to go out on a date. (I asked him.) He msged me today (wednesday) at about 11:30am saying "Hey sorry about last night I didn t wake up until about midnight and didn t go to bed till about three something". I know he was probably tired but usually when I make plans with someone I keep them. Should I msg him back? And if yes what should I say? |
