Question: Are engagment things the stupidest thing ever? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 10:04 PM PDT If I was about to get married the worst possible thing I could think of is spending $4000 on a ring (that's average). This is a time when you're about to honeymoon, buy a house, or have kids. Seems like a terrible idea to take out a big chunk of savings on ring |
Question: Are Indian Bridal Jewellery today the same as years ago? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 09:58 PM PDT Do Indian brides today wear all of the same jewellery like they used to about twenty years ago? Or has anything changed? This is for an assignment, and I'm not getting much information on this. |
Question: Um John I love that idea? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 09:44 PM PDT buy me a ring, your budget is 200 pounds... What that is a lot of money it's like 300 hundred dollars... Actually I don't care... I really don't care...I just don't care about an engagement ring... I just want you... |
Question: Is my engagement ring okay? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 09:10 PM PDT My boyfriend and I recently got e gaged. I haven t told anyone yet because I m at a little bit of a dilemma. We got matching rings. They are black in color and look like a solid band around our fingers. Don t get me wrong, I love the ring, but I ve never seen engagement rings like that without a diamond or something on it. Is it okay? Am I just being paranoid? |
Question: Are their weddings in America? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 08:57 PM PDT I'm just curious, do people in America get married? Thanks. |

Question: Keeping my last name after marriage? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 02:09 PM PDT So I'm keeping my last name after I get married. My mom kept hers, my aunts all kept theirs, it's just a normal thing in my family I guess. My boyfriend knew before he proposed that I wouldn't be changing my name, and it doesn't bother him one bit. However, I never really thought about how his family would feel. To be honest, it's such a personal decision (I mean it's MY NAME) that I never really took into account how anyone other than myself or boyfriend would feel. Anyway, soon after our engagement his mom was like "soon you'll be mrs. smith*) and that caught me off guard. I just assumed she knew, even though I completely forgot to tell anyone on his side of the family. So I said "well actually I'm going to stay with my last name", which caught her completely off guard. They are more of a conservative, traditional family; completely opposite of mine. His dad actually didn't seem to care but I could tell it ruffled his mom's feathers, along with the wives of his brothers (they all changed their last name to their husbands). So I'll be the only wife in his family with a different last name. I'm not here to debate my choice, it's been made. I just want advice on how to go about it when the subject comes up around them, trust me it'll come up again. I don't want to hurt their feelings by any means but this is not something that's up for debate either. yeah I just figured I'd cross that bridge when we come to it. It'll be many many years (much to his mom's dismay) that I'll have a baby. |
Question: Men don't want to marry now because most women have high numbers? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 11:16 AM PDT is that why a lot of men don't want to marry and when they do they can't commit and divorce rate is sky high? Let's face it, despite what the liberal media is telling us, male nature says men don't want a wife that's used up, no? |
Question: 4 day trip to Atlanta Georgia how much money should I bring to spend? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 11:03 AM PDT I am going to Atlanta in May for my friend's wedding for 4 days .day one I will be driving there and go out at night with the girls which already have money for that that aside day 2 is the bridal shower day 3 is nothing planned and day 4 is the wedding. So other than one day nothing is planned and a morning or two I will be busy doing wedding stuff so other than that how much money do you think I should bring to spend? Already have a car in my hotel booked and gas and food money so don't worry all that |
Question: Should I go to my sisters wedding? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 09:52 AM PDT My older sister is getting married for the 3rd time. She eloped 10 years ago and that marriage broke down a few weeks in. She also got married 2 1/2 years ago. I was at that wedding and swore to myself I wouldn't go to her future weddings. This isn't a decision that's gone down well with our family, though. With the exception of our brother who wasn't invited. My sister and I have never had a good relationship. She's a bully who loves embarrassing and making fun of those around her. I'm her biggest target and have been since we were kids. At her last wedding she did everything she could to make sure I had a bad time from attempting to pull down my dress in front of everyone, to spilling things on me and tripping me up. I know her then in-laws were disgusted by her behavior that day, but our family has always been happy to ignore any bad behavior from her. So yes, I know she's my sister and family weddings are ones you should attend. But we have no relationship and I have no desire to improve it. Should I go anyway? Or am I right to decline? I got the invitation this week and I have some time to RSVP. |
Question: How much period is a man required to marry again after becoming a widower? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 08:15 AM PDT Is a 1 month gap enough after his 1st wife's death? Please give your answers based on what the legal system claims on this topic. Can a man marry for the second time within a month after his first wife's death? |
Question: Do women who make a big deal on the price of their engagement ring truly gold-diggers? Posted: 24 Mar 2016 08:51 PM PDT If a woman truly didn't cared about her partners money, she should have no problem with wearing whatever her partner gets irrespective of his earning ability. Are such women simply god-diggers!! |
