She rubbed my knee as she asked if I would promise to take care of her and I blushed and got an erection. I told her I would and I nervously coughed and she smiled and giggled and said she knows. I asked why she teased me then and she said because she can. She kissed me on the cheek and said she likes me. She's always said she likes me because I'm nice to her and try to give her a lot of attention even when I'm busy with school. I'm 200 miles from home and have had a difficult time adjusting to the different way of life where my school is, and making new relationships with people. My roommates are some of the meanest people on the face of this earth and I always feel like I have to live on the edge whenever they're around. I have family that lives in the same town where I'm attending school but I only see them about once a month. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't miss the hell out of where I used to call home. I think about my old friends, family, teachers, teammates, and fond memories I have from growing up where I did, that made me who I am today, and how I won't be able to experience more moments like these anymore, and to tell you the truth it kills me inside :( . Any advice? I have to stick it out for 6 more weeks, and then I'm home for 4 months. |

Posted: 17 Mar 2016 04:58 PM PDT My friend told me this story: She was at this lab with some classmates (we're all highschoolers) and the woman there was talking about some sort of chemical and she told my friend (in front of the entire class) "It is an n word, don't worry, not THAT n word." Okay so obviously she was joking but she was white and my friend was black. After school, one of the teachers who was also there took her aside and told her that they would make sure that they would talk to the women and all that stuff. I talked to my friend later about this, and I was just like I'm not necessarily sure if it was RACIST. It was pretty unprofessional considering the woman was an adult working at a well known lab the class went to but I'm not sure if it was racist. My friend did not seem as offended as the white teacher who was talking to her but she was siding with him sort of. What do you think? Was it racist? |

We both were at least 6 when we became friends. (Her name is Whitney, BTW.) It took me a while to search for her on FB because I remembered her first name and the city we grew up in, but I forgot her last name. I knew it was her because my dad stored an old photo on his computer of my 7th birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's with Whitney and I in it. If I compared that photo with some of her recent FB photos, she would look similar in each photo. I'm worried she won't remember me if I either sent her a friend request or messaged her, just like I said there were times I forgot about her; I'm not sure if she's the same way towards me. If she doesn't remember me, I can always send her the Chuck E.'s picture and ask if that looks familiar. I just feel shy since I haven't spoken to her a while. Even if we're 2 hours away from each other and she DOES remember me, I always wondered if it'll be best for us to "meet in the middle" to meet each other in person after a few years. What I mean by "meeting in the middle," is that I'm saying that we're a couple hours away from each other, but we could always meet somewhere that's not too far from both our houses. First, I was in the hospital for almost 2 months, and my lung were almost completely white on X-rays. Which doctors don't understand how I was able to go on without a ventilator, because my lungs were that strong. Having to stay in the intensive care unit, and having surguries, and procedures, being transferred to other hospitals, and blood transfusions, and she tells me "I just think you're being lazy, and when I came and visited you, you didn't look sick" Then when I came to school after, she would've been like "How are you feeling?" and whispered "even though your not sick." Then I started gym class this semester, which I had with her. And she's all like "your complaining to much, even I think those girls were giving looks at you because of that." Then today, I was completely upset because I'm not able to touch my toes because of my scoliosis, which she doesn't know about. Then she tells more "you're not even trying" and then I say "that's what I don't like, people like you telling me that I'm not trying, when I am my hardest" and she's like "yeah okay" I don't even talk about my illness anymore, because she never asks about anything and I feel that she thinks I'm lying, because in the past year, I've had diseases after infections after viruses and she doesn't seem to care or say anything. |

I knew he blocked me because when I called it went straight to Verizon saying that my call couldn't be completed. But when I texted him yesterday apologizing to him the message went through. He didn't reply but he did read the message. I'm ok with him not replying I'm just glad he actually read the message. Posted: 17 Mar 2016 03:22 PM PDT Two days ago my sister received messages on facebook from this girl's mom saying her daughter killed herself because of me, she always threatened to kill herself if I left her, and I just couldn't handle her anymore (I didn't leave her because she was suicidal I left because she was mean and just rude to everyone and lied about everything) I decided to distance myself then she started making fun of my friends and taking pictures of them secretly to make fun of them. We found out it was her on facebook and kik pretending to be her mom but she is saying she did attempt to kill herself but she was texting my friends on kik and my siblings the whole time. She also came to school two days after she "overdosed" and I just don't know what to do. My stomach always hurts and I feel nervous and sick all the time because I think it'll happen again. She's faked her death before, this time everyone involved told guidance. She told her friend who knew she was alive to not tell anyone because she would. I just don't know what to do. She is still bullying my friend but my friend can't react because of what happened. I've completely cut off any contact I could have with her but I just can't get over it any advice? |

First of all, I'm in 8th grade and I go to a small school (theres only 3 8th graders including me in the whole school) We do this thing called valedictorian and salutatorian (they are medals for the smartest people) I have held a 4.0 GPA and so has this other girl. My best friend has a 4.0 too but also a 3.9 and when she saw that 3.9, she cried. I don't want anyone to be awarded because there will only be one left out and I don't want my best friend, or the other girl, or me to have to feel that. My bestfriend already keeps saying "I'm the dumbest one here" and it makes me really sad because she is one of the smartest people I know. ive tried telling her that and telling her that she cant let these grades show how smart she is, it doesn't work. I have talked to my teacher about this at the beginning of the school year and he didn't do anything so I told the principal about how we feel and he just ignores us. Me and my bestfriend told the other 8th grader how we feel and she doesn't care. she always says "You guys can just share the salutatorian medal with eachother." and when she says that, it makes my best friend feel worse. I know he likes me and this goes on for years but we've never gone to the next level. Then, for a couple months now, he's been hitting me a lot harder. He sits next to me in band with one of his friends and they always look and whisper and pick on my appearance and everything else. I'm not like extremely ugly just normal looking which makes me feel bad when they do that. Anyways, today I was practicing my music and stood up and he punched. Only this time it was the hardest punch ever. It knocked the wind out of me and i had tears in my eyes. He just said sorry and walked away. I'm not sure what to do between the hair tugging and the slapping and punching. I have a big bruise now. Help I have told my band teacher about this and she's going to work to keep him away in class. However, out of band I'm not sure what to do. I have told him to stop and that it hurts but it's very odd. He's been like this all school year. He was always really nice to me before. |

Nothing wrong with this, I am comfortable in my status. What bothers me is a certain ingratitude for the way their lives are somewhat easier than mine. One was able to have a husband that supported her while she went to school - I put myself, and I am still paying for school - and she complains her life is "hard" even though she actually married someone who outearns her. I have another friend who graduated from high school - is in her 40s, husband takes care of her too - and she is always worried about money - but won't get a job. I have another friend who is in her 50s. Just remarried a few years ago and has "options". He works 2 jobs and makes very good money - she doesn't have to work. Had no real education - but when she gets bored, she tried to find a job (she had a decent job before the recession of 2008) - then complains it doesn't pay enough and has a laundry list of demands. My point is: we are on completely different fields. I gotta work for every penny coming into my household - my friends have a support system that I will apparently never have. I don't care about that - but I'm tired of their complaints. Their husbands are not bad men, nor are they negligent. I'm tired of hearing it and want to block all of them - but I've known each of them for almost 20 years. What should I do? Sorry - I meant to say that I am tired of hearing of their ingratitude in their lives... @Jan: The point is not if they are happily married or not - the point is that they complain when they have good men to share the load with. She s always been kind of cynical and negative with an "I don t really care attitude" but lately it s been so much worse. Nothing I say she really listens to and I feel like she d rather I just stop talking. She puts down my achievements and bashes my opinions. She talks over my opinion when she disagrees or thinks it s stupid. Lately she s ended or disagreements with "well think what you want but you re still wrong." It makes me feel useless and insignificant, like if my best friend doesn t care why would anyone else? I was also extemely excited to be accepted to a college in another country but whenever I bring it up, even in passing, she gets snippy and irritated and very practically rolls her eyes. I m not trying to brag and I don t think I am, but I can t bring up something that I feel I should share with my best friend. I feel like I can t even be excited anymore because she clearly hates it so much. I dread being around her. Our conversation topics have dwindled down ti practically nothing because we always end up disagreeing and then I m angry and hurt for the rest of the day. I don t want to be a jerk and cut it off now, I mean we re in the home stretch of high school, and I m hoping to gain distance in college, but I m tired of it! I feel like she doesn t care about anything happening in my life, and when I talk about them it s just a nuisance. | Question: I am having issues with this girl, please help!? Posted: 17 Mar 2016 01:32 PM PDT So, I have this ex-friend. She kept lying to me about things, insulted EVERYONE and created drama. One time she grabbed by butt, and it felt VERY uncomfortable. She did it in the middle of class while I was helping someone. She claims since she is bisexual she has no boundaries, and that I can't blame her because of it. I expressed how that made me feel uncomfortable, and punched her once. I know I shouldn't have done that, but that was the first time something like that happened to me and I was VERY upset. I continued to turn around and help a friend with a project on his computer and she called him retarded and other things. Recently. (I am 13 btw, she is 12.) she claimed she had 5 boyfriends. I told her "No, you don't." and she confessed that she had one. And that one guy is 20 years old and that she met him on x-box. I tried telling her that that's wrong and somehow we got into this HUGE argument. I told her I don't want to be her friend anymore and that I feel like I'm babysitting her. She STILL tries to be friends with me and I don't know what to do... Help? I don't want to cause more issues for her by telling the school. She does have family issues and is kind of poor, but I think she's lying about that too since she brought headphones to school and phones and stuff. She also got an expensive bookbag. Oh, and I forgot. After confronting her about calling my friend retarded, she made a little email and planned to send it to the entire school. She called many people names and called me a backstabber. |

Posted: 17 Mar 2016 01:14 PM PDT i joined the band this year, and met the cutest boy i have ever seen in my life. we became friends right away, and he introduced all his friends to me who are also in band. the band went to disney world, and my crush invited me into his group which consisted of: him, his friends, me, and one of my best friends. i ended up developing romantic feelings for him. He was so sweet to me and kind, until he started changing.. after the disney trip, he decided to not bey friend anymore. now, he refuses to say hi to me in band class, he just ignores me, and when we pass in the hall, he makes a mad face, and walks by without even looking at me. Then soon after, all his friends have started ignoring me too. This hurts for me so much because he was one of the only friends i ever had at the school i go to. but now, he's left me an outcast. I'm not sure if he's figured out i have a crush on him, or just hates me for no reason, but all i know is that one day he woke up and decided to exclude me out of his life for good. and the sad part is, he talks to all the other boys and girls in my class, except me. he's sweet to everyone, except me. he just ignores me, and it's breaking me down, internally. sometimes, i wish i could do self harm, or kill myself, because i have no friends now that my crush who was my friend has started hating me. i am planning on changing schools next year because of this. what is the best possible reason for my crush suddenly hating me? and how do i make amends and become friends with him again? no mean answers please. |

| Question: I hate this kid he's so mean to me, Help?? Posted: 17 Mar 2016 01:11 PM PDT ok, so I used to be friends with this kid (lets call him Y) but then him and my other friend, (lets call her X) started dating. X was one of my best friends before all this began, like we were really close. At first it was fine, but they really changed, they texted my friend, who X was once best friends with, and said that they hated her and that they didn't want to be friends with her anymore. I felt so bad for her :( she cried on my shoulder and was like "my best friend left me" it was just really sad :(. Anyway, after that I stopped being friends with them, and they would purposely be really mean to me, kicked me out of their lunch table, talked about me, etc. So i got really pissed and then started to hate them. Anyways, all that happened like 3-6 months ago, they're still dating and the guy Y is so ******* mean to me. In biology today, we were put into groups with 3 people. I was put into a group with Y, and some other kid I don't know. So when we sat down at the group table I could swear I heard Y mumble stuff to the other guy in our group, It made me so mad, and it was an online presentation thing that we had to go through like step by step, so whenever we needed to go to the next slide he would be like "click," and then he'd mumble "stupid" IDK WHAT TO DO, HELP????? Ps.; ok not to be mean or anything, but this kid is super gay. theres nothing wrong with him about being gay, but the fact that he's so mean to be, and the fact that he's dating one of my ex best friends makes me mad. I have nothing against gay guys but he is soooo ******* gay, Like he has this high pitched voice with a brooklyn accent and he sits with his legs crossed and acts really sassy to everyone. Posted: 17 Mar 2016 01:11 PM PDT So a couple days ago me and my friends took this "how much of a ***** are you" buzzfeed quiz and one of the questions was on a scale of 1-10 ( looks wise) how would you rate your best friend? I of course said 10 bc I think my best friends are beautiful. Today we were talking about it, one of my friends said 8 and the other said 5:( she then proceeded in telling me and my friend ( the one that said 8) that she only said 5 bc she wanted to get an accurate outcome of the quiz... This obviously wasn't true as she hesitated a while before saying that. Am I actually ugly?!? I've never thought of myself as super pretty or anything but a 5! The reason this is so alarming is bc she rated me and my friend, so my friends score must have boosted mine up. I think I am ready to face my bully at work again. The last time I stood up for myself, he painted me black and turned everyone against me. And among them are my "friends". I am so hurt. They hate me because of a rumor and not because i was a bad friend. Soon these people who hurt me realized their mistake, never said sorry but i forgave them anyway. Now we're starting to build a relationship again but im not sure to trust them again anymore....(is that bad?) now, this bully sees whats happening, and started painting me black again, this time to new people at work and it seems to work. All i am doing so far is ignore him coz i know it annoys him even more that he cant get a reaction from me. But i think im ready to face him again. | Posted: 17 Mar 2016 12:22 PM PDT i lack social life which i want and am thinking about going to public school for my last year of high school but if i make friends will they even matter because id be going to a totally different college than they would after 12th grade and those friends i make in that last year of high wont really be strong friends and also im thinking that public school would interfere with my current job and dont want to lose it so would it be worth it to go to public school for only one last year which is 12th grade? should i wait to college to make friends that will last longer than just the last year of high school? oh and i also think that alot of highschoolers are immature so it might be hard for me to make friends if i go to public high school but that is not to much of an issue. |

Lets say going back as far as elementary school. And if you have, have most responded? I have what I would say are lots of friends on facebbook, but it seems most people I knew this way, never bother responding. Infact, I've noticed even some of my friends will not always respond if I talk to them or ask them a question. And no I'm sure I don't do this constantly making a nuisance of myself, incase some of you are about to jump to that conclusion. If this happens I try to take it with a grain of salt and not let it bother me, unless it happens often, then I might remove them as a friend. I'm just wondering if this is common for lots of people who try being sociable and friendly using social media. And if so, how you react to it. How would this make you feel? |

I have cried with her. I dunno why suddenly she says her mother said her not to talk with me as it will affect her fame and that her phone is confiscated by her mother. But she's so active on Facebook and Whatsapp and updating new posts all the time about her new movie which released last week. She tags all my other friends as well as mere "college mates" to her posts but has blocked me on Facebook as well as Whatsapp. I see her in conversations with my other friends in Whatsapp group too. Yet when I call her every week since 3 months to ask what happened and to please give an answer, she cuts my call. I called her from another number and found that she's still using the phone. I can't bear it anymore. I have loved her more than I even realized that the thought of her brings headaches and tears to my eyes even though it's 5 months now. They say time is the best healer but the pain is getting worse day by day. I have a hard time shrugging it off though it's what I am trying to do most of the time. I need to pull one revenge string on her just to let her know I am not a fool to believe everything she's told. |

They are fun guys and they like to tease me about how hot and sexy they are. One will say "do you want to see hard". I told him I would need a microscope to see it. Some guy will say "Most girls think I am hung". My reply, "you misunderstood, Most girls think you should be hung". A guy will tell me "I have sex more than any guy in school". I said "that explains the blisters on your hand?" Another guy said "My dong is so long, you will need a yard stick to measure it". I told him a 2 inch stick would probably measure it. No matter what they come up with, I always have a put down for them. They think it is fun and so do I. We all enjoy doing this. The guys told some of the other girls in school what was happening and these girls told me I shouldn't have to "take" it anymore. That is sexual harassment. They say these guys are insulting all women by talking to me this way. Gals, is that true? |

Everything was fine till two weeks ago. I had a meltdown dealing with a lot of personal stuff an lashed out on her first saying I couldn't trust her then sending her countless texts trying to explain an apologize. Kept an kept trying making it worse an worse. Telling her how she bailed on me when I needed her etc. she was laid off Tuesday. Now I just can't stop feeling guilty embarrassed an awful knowing she thinks I'm a weirdo. Yes I did come off that way. Honestly just lost it for two weeks. Any suggestions? |
