Posted: 23 Mar 2016 08:34 PM PDT My cat and I have been experiencing some downs recently. He was meows at me when he would like something to drink (some club soda with a lime wedge, perhaps). I meow back at him, trying to imitate him. Whenever I do that, he gets really offended. He thinks that I am "sassing" him. Then he will bite me and scratch me whenever I pet him for the next hour. This has been going on for about a week. I can't help but meow back at him, because I do really great cat impersonations. What should we do? |

Question: Can I give my unborn child my maiden name in the state of Arkansas? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 07:46 PM PDT My husband and I are separated, he's not the father and the father asked me to have an abortion and that we would try again next year. So of course I broke up with him. Just to be sure everyone is aware, my husband and I are getting a divorce, we have been separated for over a year now due to him getting a 18 year old pregnant in my bed with my children in the next room. My ex boyfriend and I were going to get married soon and my soon to be ex husband is giving me full custody of my children because his new girlfriend doesn't like them. Just saying all that so no one can say stupid stuff about the situation. |

Posted: 23 Mar 2016 06:45 PM PDT I've been dating my fiancee for 1 year. Her weight has been somewhat steady at around 150lbs but that's only because she walks a lot. I have a feeling that she is only doing this to make me happy since I have not married her yet. I don't know why but for some reason, I have this feeling that after we are married, she will eventually get obese and it will get worse after she has kids. Her weight is borderline now but I would prefer if she lost at least 20 pounds. Is there any hope for us? I don't want to end up with a woman that's built like a NFL linebacker. I just have a feeling that after this wedding, she will let herself go and blow up. Any advice would be appreciated. |
Question: I have a beautiful wife who sometimes dresses a bit too sexy, in my opinion, for work.? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 06:35 PM PDT Her boss has been inappropriate in the past. I've voiced my concerns with the way she dresses but I'm told I shouldn't try to change her. She wonders why people don t treat her with respect. Her friends and I have told her she needs to find a new job, and I've told her that, unfortunately, the way she dresses can lead to assumptions about her. How can I communicate my concerns about this adequately? |

Question: How to make amends with husbands baby mom? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 05:46 PM PDT Going back 3 years into 2013. Question: Will this motivate my wife? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 05:25 PM PDT I've been married for four years. During the entire marriage, she has not worked a job. She lays on the couch all day watching t.v. and making messes that I have to clean up. She will not cook or clean. When I get home from work, she asks what I'm cooking for dinner. I finally got tired of it last night. The house was nasty and smelly when I walked in. I grabbed her off the couch and started backhanding her several times. I think she needed a taste of my pimphand to get her motivated to clean house and cook me something to eat. She was at her mom's house when I came home today. I drove over there and started pimp slapping her again to go home and cook my dinner. Her mom got involved, so I gave her the pimphand too. Will my wife finally learn? |

Question: Why does my ex's family support his weird marriage? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 04:20 PM PDT My ex's family are Eastern European, they are good people and are Christians. When their relative (my former husband and kid's father) ran off with some girl he met in grade school, they sided w/me and really were supportive and rebuked the fact that he was having an affair w/this other woman. We divorced and all through it they sang my praises. Now, I see that on Facebook they write comments on the picture of he and his now wife saying what an attractive/beautiful couple they are, etc. Before, they said negative things about her. They hardly see the couple, but when their kids (my son's cousins) have BD parties, my son is never allowed to be there because they invite my ex and his wife. Why have they started singing her praises? I am remarried (happily) but I dont get why the sudden flip flop. They have no kids, he does not like kids and she cant have any. |
Question: Sponsorship of ex's parents after she divorced me and got married to someone.? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 04:12 PM PDT I got divorced in 2013 after 10 years ofmarriage. both of us at that time did sponsorship for her mom and dad, and they came to USA in 2012. after a year when her parents were here she wanted divorce and wanted to marry someone else. I also got married in March 2015 and Now March 2016 Im getting her documents ready. Now have have question about my ex wife parents which were sponsored back in 2012. are they still under me. I don't even know where they live, nor I want to know. If yes, is there way to exclude them since they are living with her and her new husband. If they are still under me then I don't have enough income to sponsorship my wife. Please Help. Thnanks. |
Question: I just found out my ex is pregnant.? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 04:11 PM PDT So, this'll be long, but please read. I had been seeing this girl for two years, we finally got married. I thought things were great. That was short lived, though. Two months, I sh*t you not, TWO MONTHS, after we got married, I caught her cheating on me. She explained she no longer loved me the way she used to, she thought the marriage would help, she was wrong. So, I reluctantly agreed to separating. Even though it hurt me, I'm not the type to force someone to stay, so I let her go and be with her f*ckboy. I traveled away to get my mind off things, and I did! I got hit by a truck while walking, and it killed me. It is only by the grace of God that I was able to be saved by the hospital and I am here typing this. So, I eventually made my way back home, I have seen my ex. There's no hostility, negativity, or ill will towards each other. Things were, and still are going as good as they can be. But today, I found out she was pregnant. We haven't spoken in awhile, and I am pretty much over her, but the thing that breaks my heart is I tried. Her and I tried to have a kid, and it never happened. But she hasn't even been with this guy for a full year and she already has his kid? I just feel a little hurt right now. I go through everything I went through, and yet, everything worked out for those two. In the end she got what she wanted, I just had to pay for it. |
Question: How often does your husband go out with his friends ? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 03:50 PM PDT My husband goes out with his friends almost everyday and I hate them with a passion all they do is play poker and gamble money. I don't mind if my husband had friends but I mind of how mature his friends are which they are not. They don't influence any good on each other and they stay in the same place. A lot of the time I tell my husband to please have consideration and to be home at a certain time, he comes home later than when I tell him. He swears all the time he won't see them even changing his number and still he finds a way to go near them. They really are no good and even his family knows they weren't good since the time they were young. He gets so mad at me when I tell him not to go out with them that there is some points when he tells me to not touch him to come close to him...it's just bizarre that he needs these people more than me. Am I over reacting or am I good at taking a stand ? |

Question: Why should husbands help wives in the kitchen? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 03:18 PM PDT |
Question: Should I have warned him this might happen? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 02:37 PM PDT I am divorced but my ex wife and I are still on friendly terms. She calls me from time to time, for advice on her investments. I got a call from her current husband that he did not want me talking to her ever again. I tried to explain to him that she called me. I did not call her EVER. To make sure I didn't talk to her again he said he would forbid her from calling me. Knowing my ex wife as I do, I knew he was going to be in big trouble for forbidding her from doing anything. It turns out he was in more trouble than I thought. She kicked him out of her house and off of her bank account and is filing for divorce. He called me and was mad I didn't warn him she would do that. I told him his relations with his wife were none of my business and I was not going to get involved and not to call me again about his soon to be ex wife and his problems. I then got a call from my ex wife asking me to join her for dinner to celebrate her getting rid of her controlling freak jerk of a husband. Should I go to dinner with her and try to make her feel better about her problems. Gals, I would really like your thoughts on this. Did I do something wrong by not warning her husband what might happen to him? |
Posted: 23 Mar 2016 02:08 PM PDT Lately I've been feeling like my wife has 0 interest in me. She used to be so loving, so caring would text or call me everyday and lately it has decreased drastically. We don't have sex like we used to, I have to pretty much beg for it which I still get shut down. She blames it on working, but I work the same hours as she does. We've only been married this year would be 3 years together 4 years. Only time she shows me any type of affection is when were around each others family. When we are at home complete distance, she's definitely not the person I met almost 9 years ago. I love her very much and I don't want to let her go but I miss the attention and affection we used to have. Am I being too needy? Is she cheating on me, or is this just how marriage is? Lost. :( |

Question: Bossy sister in law: should I tell my husband how I feel about her? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 11:19 AM PDT My sister in law lives 3000 miles away so we don t see each other often thankfully but when we do speak over the phone she tries to be bossy and or take jabs at me. For instance:she and I are the same height and she says "your daughter gets her height from her dad because you re short" ..my husband is 5 9" & I m 5 5". Her mother and sister are 5 8". Or she ll say "your daughter gets her straight hair from her auntie (her)" meanwhile I m the one with straight hair and hers is naturally spiral. Or how my son looks exactly like his father not like me even though our baby pictures side by side look almost identical and everyone but her agrees. When we bought our house the first thing she said is "its nice you just need to paint it" it had already been painted. Recently she said regarding our toddler son once to my husband and once to me "it s time for you to baby proof your house" because she saw a picture of him climbing into a low kitchen cabinet where there s nothing dangerous. We let him pull things out and also let him pull out DVD s from a shelf. I told her that we let him and she insisted that we d get tired of putting everything back. I told her that it doesn t bother us but she wanted to keep insisting that it would eventually. These are basically what our entire conversations are about, oh and how we should fly out to visit them because they don t have money to fly out here. This is the sister my husband likes so I m not sure if I should mention her behavior. |
Question: Does it anyone else get paranoid when you say you love them and they respond "You too"? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 11:14 AM PDT So I was sending text messages to my wife today and I said "i love you" and she responded in a text "you too". Maybe I am slicing hairs about it, I don't know. I know she has said she loves me first and then I say love you. But i always try to not say "you too". It just comes across as "Yeah, whatever". Do you think I am overthinking things? |
Question: Is it wrong that my husband left me at a time when I needed him the most? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 10:52 AM PDT My mom has terminal cancer and is fixing to pass away and I am not dealing with it well. I feel so alone, but my husband left four months ago to move in with his elderly parents to take care of them. He has not been able to come home since then, although I have made the 300 mile trip back/forth several times since he has left to visit him. He has siblings that live in the same town as the parents, yet he doesn't ask them for help. His mother is an extremely cruel, callous woman who actually yelled at me this past weekend and told me that she never wants her son to leave her, because she doesn't want to be alone. That was in response to me letting her know that I would like my husband to come home, at least to visit my mom, who doesn't have that much long to live. Is it normal to feel hurt & confused by him leaving? |
Posted: 23 Mar 2016 10:49 AM PDT My wife is from a large family with both of her parents still alive. I am an only child whose parents have passed away recently. My wife's family gets together a lot between holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations from pre-school and kindergarten, and openings of the mail to say nothing of their insistent " we must come to your house to do household projects that we think you need and to see our grandchildren and nephews." There are a few of them who I will diplomatically say that I do not care to see. Adding to this all is that this summer, her oldest brother is coming out with his family for three weeks and we will also be attending a wedding of one of my wife's many cousins that is an 8 hour drive from our home where we will all be in the same hotel together for the entire four days. This is way too much of her family time for me. If she wants to spend time with them, go for it. But how do I convince my wife now and in the future that I want to work out a compromise where I don't have to spend all of that time with her family? |

Question: Can anyone give advice on how I should handle issues with my wife's gay friend? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 10:00 AM PDT My wife and I are a straight couple, I am in the military, she has a gay friend she has known for years I have totally respected. Issues started when I was deployed overseas and came home for a few weeks. During my time home her gay friend was having a monster break up with his boyfriend and my wife was being his comfort pillow, but this got out of hand when one night I woke up at 1 am to find my wife downstairs in hugging and crying session with him. I let it slide but happened again the next night and I confronted my wife demanding she stop since my time was limited she was ignoring me and our limited time together is precious. On the 3rd night I stormed out, went to a bar and when I came back I found them both passed out on the couch with an empty box of tissues from a crying session at around 3am when I got back. I ended up kicking him out of my house and told my wife to sleep on the couch for the rest of the night since she preferred it to me. She claims I am over reacting, I am angered and feel disrespected. Any advice would be nice. |

Question: I don't want an open marriage anymore, but my husband still does.? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 09:04 AM PDT I have been married to my husband for 12 years. We've had an open relationship most of our marriage. I am no longer comfortable with this. I developed hypothyroidism about 8 years ago, and have had a very hard time maintaining my weight. I feel insecure, and am not comfortable with being with other people. I've asked that we take a break from the lifestyle for a while. He got very angry, told me he couldn't promise me he'd stay faithful while I try to regain some self esteem. He told the girls he flirts with on Facebook that I was forcing him into a monogamous relationship, and that he was very upset with me over this. I was shocked at his reaction. I thought he'd be more supportive and help me regain my confidence so that we could go back to the open relationship when I am ready for it. Now I feel more insecure than ever before. I will always be wondering if he's going to cheat. I'm worried that this will destroy our marriage. |

Question: Husband brings up my past marriage and blames me? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 08:33 AM PDT My husband knows that I was beat by my ex husband and cheated on. Every time we have a big verbal argument, he says "no wonder Brad left you and hit you! You deserved it! you caused the end of your marriage, nobody else!' He has met my ex one time, years ago because we have a child together. I have asked him to stop bringing up my 1st marriage, which he knows nothing about because he wasn't there and was living thousands of miles away. Why does he do this? |
Question: Should I get a Prenup? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 07:26 AM PDT Hi. I am a male who is 21 years old. I currently have no possessions in my name. But if I was to marry in the future and already had a house and car that belong to me would it be wise to sign a prenup? FYI I was never in a relationship before so I don't know too much about these things. Thanks. |

Question: Can a working spouse get something out of a divorce? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 05:48 AM PDT If both people in a marriage are working, what are the odds of a spouse being able to receive property and $$ after a divorce settlement? What if one spouse makes significantly more than the other? For instance, if one person works as a nurse and makes $75k a year while her spouse works as a physician making $375k a year. Let's assume the couple has been married for 20 years and raised two full grown children (18+ years old). Everything is paid for including the house and cars. What would happen? Let's also assume that the houses and cars are not something a person making $75k a year could easily afford |

Question: Should I continue fighting or leave my marriage? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 01:36 AM PDT I cant bring myself to divorce, but feel I need too. I've been with my wife for, yesterday was anniversary, 5 years but married 3 years. We've had rough patches in the past, I was kind of in a state of depression early on in the relationship and partially the beginning stages of marriage due to my dad passing away, then my best friend 3 wks later, then my grandma 6 months later, then a friend 7 months after that, so I kind of went through a lot. So I was distant and after awhile didn't treat her all that well, just emotionally I became numb for a couple years. the past 1.5 years I've been working hard as hell to get us back to where we were, still with ups and downs... so right now we're both kind of ugh about us, as in not much motivation to do more than wat we want..but recently the past 1.5 yrs, Ive been working like hell to make me the husband I should be, but about a month ago we went to a concert and met these 2 guys, well she started the conversation with them, and they were pretty cool. 2 days later she went to a bar concert with one of them, I found out after the fact, where he bought her drinks as well. I found a few text messages that were sexual implications, but shes acting too naïve to know that's what was implied. But shes all "its not like that, bc he knows shes married". As if all men that want affairs care that you're married. Now about a month later, she still fights to keep this guy as a friend, even though I've gotten to the point just shy of an ultimatum |

Question: I want to do a redhead but im married to a brunette? Posted: 22 Mar 2016 10:00 PM PDT Ok, so, ever since i was young i have always had a bit of a fetish towards natural redheads. Now I ve gone and married a brunette. She is very beautiful and not bad in bed either, also a great wife, but my fetish is still there and i would like to lay with a ginger at least once in my life. Is this wrong? Would it be right to ask my wife for permission? Or is this just something i ll have to live with and keep it as a meer fantasy? |
Posted: 22 Mar 2016 05:44 PM PDT So I know you have to be separated for a year before filing for divorce, but i was wondering if there was any way to speed up that process because of cheating? Basically my husband has an account on Blendr, a dating app, and has been messaging other girls telling them he wants to hook up with them. When i asked him about it he deleted the account and denied it but still, I am very upset and it is not the first time. what should i do ): |
Posted: 22 Mar 2016 05:07 PM PDT I know it's the other way around when that does happen, but in what circumstances does it happen when the wife works and the husband stays home? Also, does it happen often? |

Question: Please HELP? My husband is annoyed at me? Posted: 22 Mar 2016 03:36 PM PDT I just got married and me and my husband were waiting until we were officially married to start having sex. I was a virgin and he's not. But when we got home, we were about to. Lots of foreplay and kissing. He started giving me oral and I thought I was ready. I put lube down there and felt I was good to go. But when he stuck his thing inside me even a little bit I started wincing in pain and I squirmed like a worm and told him to stop because I was in pain, I even started bleeding a bit. I even started to tear up a bit because the pain was too much and all my husband did was have an annoyed/ angry look on his face and pull himself out of me, leave the bedroom and went into the guest room and slammed the door shut really loud and slept in the guest room for the night. And I think he watched porn too. Please help? He has ignored me the whole day and when I tried to touch him all he said was stop touching me. And pushed my hand off him. Help? |

Posted: 22 Mar 2016 02:29 PM PDT In 2004 I lost my 19yrs old son in Iraq,he was a marine. After my son died I divorced from my wife. I met my current wife last year and I love her and I try to be understanding but there are things I don't want to talk with her. She wants to know every detail about my son and while I tell her some funny things about him,I am not willing to tell her how I felt for losing him,he was a great boy and he's gone,.I kept his room the way it waswhen he was in high school, there are still his high school awards,he was a huge fan of the Chicago cubs,my wife now told me she wants to make that the guests room,I told her that this is not happening and we got into a fight. She told me she is doing this for me. I know she thinks she is doing this for my sakebut when I watch that room it's kinda like he's still here and I don't wanna change it. What should I do? I'm not that mad but even if now it's my wife's house aswell I am not willing to turn my son's room in a guest room. Any advices? @Mike: I divorced from my first wife in 2004 remarried in late 2014 so i DID NOT intantly remarried @Mark: Thanks for your answer, you have a point there. However talking to her about the moment I lost him is just too much. I can and will talk to her about when he was in High school, how funny. That's How I want to remember my son |
