I meow back at him, trying to imitate him. Whenever I do that, he gets really offended. He thinks that I am "sassing" him. Then he will bite me and scratch me whenever I pet him for the next hour. This has been going on for about a week. I can't help but meow back at him, because I do really great cat impersonations. What should we do? |

So of course I broke up with him. Just to be sure everyone is aware, my husband and I are getting a divorce, we have been separated for over a year now due to him getting a 18 year old pregnant in my bed with my children in the next room. My ex boyfriend and I were going to get married soon and my soon to be ex husband is giving me full custody of my children because his new girlfriend doesn't like them. I have a feeling that she is only doing this to make me happy since I have not married her yet. I don't know why but for some reason, I have this feeling that after we are married, she will eventually get obese and it will get worse after she has kids. Her weight is borderline now but I would prefer if she lost at least 20 pounds. Is there any hope for us? I don't want to end up with a woman that's built like a NFL linebacker. My husband dated a women for 3 months(feb-april), she broke up with him and moved into another man's the same day! She found out she was pregnant the next month. When my husband and i got together it was august, she was 3 months. And has always hated me. She knew he liked me however, when they dated. He told me he loved me in August and everything he felt an we been togather ever since. I got pregnant the next august. The baby was born January 2014 and she wouldn't let him see her till august 2015 because of me. We had our son in may she refused to let them meet, after he was 2 months she decided to put my husband on child support and asked for back pay for the time she wouldn't allow him to be there, just to hurt us. We didn't no at the time but I was 6 weeks pregnant during that. We got married immediately, this January. Since then she didn't let her come for the wedding or spring break. She won't let her come over anymore she wants us to go to her house 40 minutes away. I'm 6 months pregnant and I just want this to stop already no she bashes me weekly on Facebook and tells me only in text never to my face that I'm nothing toy stepdaughter and never will be. When their relative (my former husband and kid's father) ran off with some girl he met in grade school, they sided w/me and really were supportive and rebuked the fact that he was having an affair w/this other woman. We divorced and all through it they sang my praises. Now, I see that on Facebook they write comments on the picture of he and his now wife saying what an attractive/beautiful couple they are, etc. Before, they said negative things about her. They hardly see the couple, but when their kids (my son's cousins) have BD parties, my son is never allowed to be there because they invite my ex and his wife. Why have they started singing her praises? I am remarried (happily) but I dont get why the sudden flip flop. They have no kids, he does not like kids and she cant have any. |

I thought things were great. That was short lived, though. Two months, I sh*t you not, TWO MONTHS, after we got married, I caught her cheating on me. She explained she no longer loved me the way she used to, she thought the marriage would help, she was wrong. So, I reluctantly agreed to separating. Even though it hurt me, I'm not the type to force someone to stay, so I let her go and be with her f*ckboy. I traveled away to get my mind off things, and I did! I got hit by a truck while walking, and it killed me. It is only by the grace of God that I was able to be saved by the hospital and I am here typing this. So, I eventually made my way back home, I have seen my ex. There's no hostility, negativity, or ill will towards each other. Things were, and still are going as good as they can be. But today, I found out she was pregnant. We haven't spoken in awhile, and I am pretty much over her, but the thing that breaks my heart is I tried. Her and I tried to have a kid, and it never happened. But she hasn't even been with this guy for a full year and she already has his kid? I just feel a little hurt right now. I don't mind if my husband had friends but I mind of how mature his friends are which they are not. They don't influence any good on each other and they stay in the same place. A lot of the time I tell my husband to please have consideration and to be home at a certain time, he comes home later than when I tell him. He swears all the time he won't see them even changing his number and still he finds a way to go near them. They really are no good and even his family knows they weren't good since the time they were young. He gets so mad at me when I tell him not to go out with them that there is some points when he tells me to not touch him to come close to him...it's just bizarre that he needs these people more than me. She calls me from time to time, for advice on her investments. I got a call from her current husband that he did not want me talking to her ever again. I tried to explain to him that she called me. I did not call her EVER. To make sure I didn't talk to her again he said he would forbid her from calling me. Knowing my ex wife as I do, I knew he was going to be in big trouble for forbidding her from doing anything. It turns out he was in more trouble than I thought. She kicked him out of her house and off of her bank account and is filing for divorce. He called me and was mad I didn't warn him she would do that. I told him his relations with his wife were none of my business and I was not going to get involved and not to call me again about his soon to be ex wife and his problems. I then got a call from my ex wife asking me to join her for dinner to celebrate her getting rid of her controlling freak jerk of a husband. Should I go to dinner with her and try to make her feel better about her problems. Gals, I would really like your thoughts on this. For instance:she and I are the same height and she says "your daughter gets her height from her dad because you re short" ..my husband is 5 9" & I m 5 5". Her mother and sister are 5 8". Or she ll say "your daughter gets her straight hair from her auntie (her)" meanwhile I m the one with straight hair and hers is naturally spiral. Or how my son looks exactly like his father not like me even though our baby pictures side by side look almost identical and everyone but her agrees. When we bought our house the first thing she said is "its nice you just need to paint it" it had already been painted. Recently she said regarding our toddler son once to my husband and once to me "it s time for you to baby proof your house" because she saw a picture of him climbing into a low kitchen cabinet where there s nothing dangerous. We let him pull things out and also let him pull out DVD s from a shelf. I told her that we let him and she insisted that we d get tired of putting everything back. I told her that it doesn t bother us but she wanted to keep insisting that it would eventually. These are basically what our entire conversations are about, oh and how we should fly out to visit them because they don t have money to fly out here. I feel so alone, but my husband left four months ago to move in with his elderly parents to take care of them. He has not been able to come home since then, although I have made the 300 mile trip back/forth several times since he has left to visit him. He has siblings that live in the same town as the parents, yet he doesn't ask them for help. His mother is an extremely cruel, callous woman who actually yelled at me this past weekend and told me that she never wants her son to leave her, because she doesn't want to be alone. That was in response to me letting her know that I would like my husband to come home, at least to visit my mom, who doesn't have that much long to live. Is it normal to feel hurt & confused by him leaving? |

My wife's family gets together a lot between holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations from pre-school and kindergarten, and openings of the mail to say nothing of their insistent " we must come to your house to do household projects that we think you need and to see our grandchildren and nephews." There are a few of them who I will diplomatically say that I do not care to see. Adding to this all is that this summer, her oldest brother is coming out with his family for three weeks and we will also be attending a wedding of one of my wife's many cousins that is an 8 hour drive from our home where we will all be in the same hotel together for the entire four days. This is way too much of her family time for me. If she wants to spend time with them, go for it. But how do I convince my wife now and in the future that I want to work out a compromise where I don't have to spend all of that time with her family? |

I ended up kicking him out of my house and told my wife to sleep on the couch for the rest of the night since she preferred it to me. He got very angry, told me he couldn't promise me he'd stay faithful while I try to regain some self esteem. I've been with my wife for, yesterday was anniversary, 5 years but married 3 years. We've had rough patches in the past, I was kind of in a state of depression early on in the relationship and partially the beginning stages of marriage due to my dad passing away, then my best friend 3 wks later, then my grandma 6 months later, then a friend 7 months after that, so I kind of went through a lot. So I was distant and after awhile didn't treat her all that well, just emotionally I became numb for a couple years. the past 1.5 years I've been working hard as hell to get us back to where we were, still with ups and downs... so right now we're both kind of ugh about us, as in not much motivation to do more than wat we want..but recently the past 1.5 yrs, Ive been working like hell to make me the husband I should be, but about a month ago we went to a concert and met these 2 guys, well she started the conversation with them, and they were pretty cool. 2 days later she went to a bar concert with one of them, I found out after the fact, where he bought her drinks as well. I found a few text messages that were sexual implications, but shes acting too naïve to know that's what was implied. But shes all "its not like that, bc he knows shes married". As if all men that want affairs care that you're married. Now about a month later, she still fights to keep this guy as a friend, even though I've gotten to the point just shy of an ultimatum |

I met my current wife last year and I love her and I try to be understanding but there are things I don't want to talk with her. She wants to know every detail about my son and while I tell her some funny things about him,I am not willing to tell her how I felt for losing him,he was a great boy and he's gone,.I kept his room the way it waswhen he was in high school,there are still his high school awards,he was a huge fan of the Chicago cubs,my wife now told me she wants to make that the guests room,I told her that this is not happening and we got into a fight. She told me she is doing this for me. I know she thinks she is doing this for my sakebut when I watch that room it's kinda like he's still here and I don't wanna change it. What should I do? I'm not that mad but even if now it's my wife's house aswell I am not willing to turn my son's room in a guest room.
