Question: How to help this young girl? Posted: 29 Mar 2016 11:51 AM PDT I am 14 and I've been friends with this 9 year old little girl for a few monthes. We go to the same church and she loves me a lot, so what can I say? Anyway, her family isn't the greatest. She is an only child, homeschooled and her father is bipolar. Her family doesn't go out much, like to the movies, dinner, parks, ya know, family stuff. Since she is homeschooled she doesn't go out to school or have many friends at all. She is losing a lot of them and she is very lonely because she spends most of her days indoors. She doesn't hve a phone or tablet/computer or a TV. I taught her to knit, but knitting is harder, and she can't really do it without my help yet. Is there anything I can do to help her find ways to entertain herself at home or get her family to do more together? I can't play with her a lot because I have school, and because I'm older, it may be weird to have her over or go to her house. I really want to help her. |
Question: Why did this man say this? Posted: 29 Mar 2016 11:46 AM PDT I find it a bit cold and heartless when he said that. When I told him during dinner on the table full of our guess that the father of my friend died on her wedding which is supposed to be the best day of your life it turned out in the worst nightmare of your life and what a shock it was when we heard it. He said no it is not bad, we all looked shocked and stunned at him and said how can you say that? It was on a freaking wedding! And he said no, its not bad, he is just in another dimension, nothing is terrible. We were stunned. 2 years ago he had a heart surgery and almost died cause it was a big and difficult operation, we all thought that he would die and cried for him cause he is like a family to us. And when the surgery was finished and well done and he was back from recovery we told him how sad we were and that we were afraid that he would die and cried so much how we care for him and he looked surprised at us kinda like you are crazy for crying for me, that was not needed its over now. He was clinically dead a few hours and experienced near death experience, he told a bit of what he saw but not everything and he changed after the surgery, he became cold and less caring. My mom said he was on that other world and here on earth its hell compared to heaven so thats why he said that and became less interested and less worried. Who knows? What do you think? |
Question: I will appreciate your thought on this matter? Posted: 29 Mar 2016 11:06 AM PDT there is a girl I used to study with 4 years ago in colleague, at that time we used to spend a lot of time together and she was hinting me that she liked me as more than just a friend but for some reason I didn't understand her hints till later after I left and went to study in another colleague. there was almost no contact after I left for the whole 4 years ago but deep down I always liked her a lot. a month ago I gathered enough courage and decided to recontact her. I started talking to her once every 2 weeks and then once a week and in each conversation she would respond after a short time(sometime in a few minutes) and the conversation would go for 20-30 min. till now I was the only one starting the conversation. I am planing to pay her a visit month from now and when I told her she was also responsive. do you think I got a chance on getting in a relationship with her or she just being friendly ? |

Question: Can a child be close friends with an adult? Posted: 29 Mar 2016 06:16 AM PDT My son is in medical school and 26 yo he's doing very well and has plenty of friends his own age and is dating a lovely girl. But for at least the past six months he's been spending a lot of time with a 17-year-old boy who moved nearby. They passionately share the same politics and political beliefs Spend lots of time playing the same video games , one has a PlayStation and a Wii the other has an Xbox and strong PC specifically for games, so together they can play anything. Like the same kinds of novels, comic books and manga so they can share their material and buy half as much . Both love the television shows Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead and passionately discuss the minutiae of each episode and watch together: as well as comparing contrast them with The series of novels and comic books those shows are based on respectively. And so on and so forth just like any other pair friends. Can this possibly be normal? What do you think is going on? What do I do? Please note: I can objectively say that there's definitely nothing more sinister going on, no one has ever seen them do anything that could be considered suspicious in any way. |

Question: How to talk to my roommate about this? Posted: 29 Mar 2016 05:26 AM PDT I am so fed up with my roommate. Her boyfriend who lives 3 doors down the hall sleeps over every night. I'll always be asleep and then they come in my room anywhere from 1-3am and wake me up. It takes me hours to fall back asleep. I have early classes so it's just not fair to me. Plus, he snores really loud and I can't sleep because of that either. About 2 months ago I talked to her about it and it stopped for like 5 days. But he's been sleeping over every night for like 3 weeks. It's ridiculous! I'm not paying $4500 a semester to not be able to sleep and then go to class miserable. I know talking in person is the better thing to do, but I don't know how to bring it up. I feel like I could say so much more if I do it over text while I'm in class and not with her. I know she'll show people, but whatever. I've been dealing with this bull for too long. Advice? In person or text? If in person, how do I bring it up? |

Question: The outcome of incest? Posted: 29 Mar 2016 01:26 AM PDT I don't do that, but I've watched Donald Trump videos talking about how attracted he feels to his daughter, how hot he finds her. I'm not sure if he had sex with her already or just jacks off thinking about her. Anyway, my yahoo question is, if a father has sex with his daughter and makes her pregnant, or a mom with her son, or other relatives, will the baby be born a retard? Will the baby have 3 eyes or 2 heads or something weird? Will the baby have a tail, or horns? Has anyone tried? Has anyone tried In the name of science? Has it ever been tried before in the history of mankind? What was the result? I'm curious. |
Question: This guy is really urgent in meeting, is this dangerous? Posted: 28 Mar 2016 11:59 PM PDT A friend of mine met a guy on a date site. They just became acquainted online with each other today and he asked my friend if she would like to meet him tonight around 10:30 pm down the street or at a coffee place and he was VERY persistent. He was asking her where she lived and if she changed her mind that he can still meet her. He also gave the option of meeting her tomorrow before he goes into work which would be around 5 am. He said he was going to be going out of town for a week and he wanted to share some laughs and some hugs with her before he leaves for this vacation with his family. What could he want that's so urgent? |

Question: HELP!! My boyfriend's sister raped me!? Posted: 28 Mar 2016 07:51 PM PDT I know that sounds weird, okay. Basically, I've been raped twice by my boyfriend's lesbian sister Maggie. I couldn't fight her, because I'm too weak. She said she was never going to stop, so "I'd better get used to it". The thing is, she was never like this. In my boyfriend's childhood, she was always there to protect him; she was the most prominent influence in his life, and he trusts her with his life. I want to tell him what happened, but he's very depressed and suicidal and I know if I told him this on top of everything else, that would be the end of him. It's been causing me so much stress, I don't know what to do. I've only talked to one of my friends about it, and he's been staying close to me to protect me from her since my boyfriend can't know, but I'm still afraid. What do I do?! |

Question: Does this count as me taking down/tackling this girl to the floor in Flag Football? Posted: 28 Mar 2016 07:30 PM PDT This one time during my gym class, the girls were playing Flag Football. I was a very competitive person and I wanted to take people down instead of just pulling off flags. So this girl in my class (who was also a good friend of mine) was running and I ran behind her. I honestly forgot HOW I did it, but I caught her somehow from behind and we both fell to the floor. Then I went up to her and ripped both her flags off. As I got up, My gym teacher told me if I was okay ,but another girl in my class was yelling at me saying that I didn't have to do that. So does this count as me taking down/tackling this girl to the floor in Flag Football?? |

Posted: 28 Mar 2016 07:26 PM PDT Aside from drugs, what are some things that you do and it works to control your emotions? Question: I don't know what to feel or think.? Posted: 28 Mar 2016 07:10 PM PDT Have a mouth that just keeps on going. I try to prove my point but I don't know if I'm actually right. I don't know if it's just a TEENAGER PHASE THAT EVERYONE SAYS that I'm going through. My hormones or whatever. But my parents make me cry, they don't let me do anything without screaming at me. If I take a nap on the afternoon, which is rare, I get yelled at TOO WAKE UP, my stepdad would hit the door in order for me to wake up. I was trying to get some extra sleep for my STAAR test. My mom always protects and defends my stepdad, maybe because he is father to my 6 year old sister and another one in the way. Ever since my mom was pregnant she's been acting so bitchy to me. Me and my stepdad would do some mistakes are so similar, when he's doing it's okay and he doesn't get in trouble with my mom. And when I do, I get this huge commotion and a lot of arguing. When I try defending myself to my stepdad, I get in trouble by my mom, who should be on my side. I know I may deserve a slap in the face every now and then but I don't think I deserve crying every other night. I'm glad there's a new baby on the way so it can replace me and my other two brothers ( we have the same mom and dad ). I just don't want to live in this kind of environment anymore. Sometimes I'm really grateful to have them but most of the time I just want to run away. And I'm always the one to blame when it come to blaming someone. |

Question: My Dad and his girlfriend broke up twice? Posted: 28 Mar 2016 06:47 PM PDT I live with my Dad we don't live with his girlfriend... my dad and his girlfriend have been together over a year and his girlfriend is the first girlfriend I've been able to get along with and felt completely comfortable with and I really kinda embraced this whole "family" thing, however in the recent month they broke up twice, and truly neither times were his fault basically she is/was stressing out about different things, so It was kinda like "i don't have time for you here is the door" (at least that's my point of view) my dad told me about the first time they broke up because he thought it was really over and I wanted nothing more than for them to get back together and sure enough a few days later they did and felt very relieved because I knew I wanted her in my life. Three weeks later they break up again and my dad has to tell me because all of his stuff was in the car, so I would've noticed. the second break-up happened very quickly and with his stuff was some of my stuff that I had left at her house.. and it kinda just made upset how easily she packed up our things and put us out the door... She and my dad got back together again but this time I don't feel relieved I kinda feel like I want to stay away from her like I don't really trust her not to throw us out the door.. I don't want to tell my dad I feel this way because I still don't want her out of our lives.. Do I have a right to be mad? How do I get past this? How do I forgive her? |
Question: Boyfriend says he doesn't know what to do about us. Does he want to break up? Posted: 28 Mar 2016 06:20 PM PDT I brought it up that maybe we want different things and maybe he doesn't really want a relationship. We've been going out for almost 9 months. He said it feels like we don't get anywhere. We never say I love you. but he says he loves being with me, so it's weird. he asked me what I want to do. I said that maybe I'm looking at other people's relationships too much & he said "I'm sorry I'm like this. What can I do. I still don't know what to do. He said we could meet up & clear the air. But we haven't argued, I'm just trying to communicate. About a month ago he thought I was going to break up with me, and was getting really upset, so I can't figure out what he wants. I never knew he was waiting for me to say I love you & didn't know how he felt. Why can't he say it if he feels it. And the next day he was just talking to me normally |
Question: Why is my work colleague (male) acting like this with me? Posted: 28 Mar 2016 05:49 PM PDT Hello. A Male work colleague joined my workplace around a month ago, I've worked there 7 months now but I'm only 17 and he's about 23. He's been took on as a manager as he's had past experience in pubs. When he first started he was quite flirty with me (Yet acts like that with other girls there) he wound me up but I never retaliated I'd just laugh back ( I have a boyfriend of almost 2 years ) He would try to get me to hug him and came over to me and said "cuddle time" and then said we'd make it a daily thing, he joked about taking me out on our day of, he'd say immature things like "is the floor looking as good as you?" Just flirty stuff, he'd push and shove me but he's quite arrogant and obnoxious. I never retaliated back or initiated anything. he knew I had a boyfriend. The day after he was trying to cuddle me my boyfriend came into my workplace just to wait for me to finish my shift as I was staying with him that night. The guy "L" we'll call him was flirting on as soon as he saw me "My weekend was boring, it would of been better with you ;) ) He then saw me talking to my boyfriend and almost immediately after that he turned sour, now when I go to work he doesn't even talk to me just casually or even look at me, he gives me horrible looks, he doesn't communicate, doesn't speak to me, avoids me and is cold in my presence yet speaks and jokes on with everyone else. What's going on? He just plain doesn't like me, I'm still nice to him on a friendly basis always have been. VERY sorry for the long paragraph Led him on? excuse me, he KNOWS I have a boyfriend. And who was to say I let him cuddle me? I said he TRIED. |

Question: I'm dating a married man and his wife wants to talk to me. Should I talk to her? Posted: 28 Mar 2016 04:13 PM PDT I'm 27 year old and I work as an RN in a senior complex. I'm also a mother of an amazing set of identical twins girls (they are 5 year old) I met my boyfriend back in 2013 when his grandmother was part of our family at the senior complex. She passed almost 2 years ago but we kept in touch and that's how our relationship developed. My boyfriend is married and he has 2 small kids with his wife. However, he's not happy in his marriage, his wife is someone very difficult to get along with, she always in a bad mood and acting won't even take care of him as a real wife should or is supposed to. Anyways, we've been together for about 18 months and our relationship is amazing. I see him almost every day since his work is like 5 minutes from mine and when we can we do lot of things together. My daughters love him and now that his wife found out he moved out is renting an apartment. I have my own house and we are planning on living together. His wife now wants him back but he doesn't want to be with her anymore, so now she's trying to contact me. Yesterday she left a letter in my mail box where she's basically begging me to break up with him and not see him anymore. Today send me a long message on FB talking about their kids, life, the time they've been together etc. I guess she is trying to make feel pity or sorry for her, and in part I do but I love him and I won't let him go. She said also that she wants to meet me or talk to me on the phone but I'm not too sure about that. |
Question: How do you cope with selfish family members? Posted: 28 Mar 2016 04:09 PM PDT My mother and sister are notoriously selfish almost bordering on narcissistic. I've never been given any emotional or mental support from my mother everything is always all about her and she'll disappear if something more interesting comes up. My sister and her husband now have a child who is my nephew and anytime I want to see him I have to make all of he effort to schedule, bring it up, and go to their place which is far away, they never invite me without me making the first effort. I'm growing tired of their selfish behavior and my mother even told me I could not have my boyfriend over to her house for the holidays because h has kids when my mother remarrid twice and I had to do holidays with whomever my mom married at he time and their families. I'm growing tired of being treated like a second class citizen and always meeting their needs but they don't care about mine at all. It's sad because I would like to continue to have a relationship with my nephew. To top it off my boyfriend is always on facebook like all of my sister and brother in laws post when they have treated me so selfishly. How should I deal with this? |

Posted: 28 Mar 2016 02:57 PM PDT I've had about all I can take trying to get my SO up for work in the morning. I try to wake him several times and he gets angry and goes back to sleep. And it doesn't help he stays up all night... I waste a lot of time in the morning trying to get him up. We both have to be at work at 6:30 and I usually wake between 4:30- 5 and I can't ever get him up before 6:00. And he's in such a rush he skips showering and brushing his teeth. On days im off I don't get to sleep in or else he won't wake up on his own. I have a few times before and he went in a couple hours late. I'm worried to death he's gonna get fired. He's not even making half what I do. i'm thankful that he does have that but we'd be screwed if he wasn't working. I'm so stressed out about this. This morning was my breaking point. I was so pissed. I finally got him awake at six and he came in the bathroom and brushed his hair, And I didn't hear him anymore after that. So I thought he had rushed off and left already. I was about to leave at 6:25 (My work is really close to where we live but his is a lot further) and I find him back on the couch asleep. (Yeah he sleeps there most nights) I was so furious... Like I feel like his mom trying to make sure he's awake I don't know but I feel like a grown *** man should be able to wake himself up in the mornings What's do you guys think? |
Posted: 28 Mar 2016 01:27 PM PDT My fiance is 17 years older than me and his ex wife is closer to his age. (50's) They have no children together and do not associate since the divorce. She wasn't born attractive and that doesn't bother me so much. People are people. HOWEVER... She is 55 years old and dresses like a prostitute. She wears halter tops, camouflage, spandex, leopard prints, cheap tacky wigs and cheap plastic costume jewelry. She is all over the internet on more than 11 dating sites (including a sex site) with her real name, photos of them together and she uses her zipcode in her name!! I am terrified someone will google her name out of curiosity and discover her. This could be detrimental to my social life and potentially harm my professional reputation. How can I protect myself? (Her personality is just as flawed as her appearance but because I am only worried about people that cross paths with her online, I am focusing on the physical representation first.) I am not shallow but I am seriously worried someone will think less of me or have less respect for my fiance based on his ex wife. Her manner of dressing and the way she represents herself is very extreme! To be honest, I was shocked when I saw her photos and it took me awhile to overcome it so I could continue my relationship... Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!!!! |
