In the beginning I would often catch him looking at me and quickly looking away. Now since we are becoming closer when I catch him staring he will hold his stare. When we are together I see him looking at me from the corner of my eye if I am reading or something. We have conversations about anything and everything even personal things. He is always making jokes and full of smiles. I notice him always touching his face and fixing his shirt. Even though this is not much to go by do you think I can possibly have a chance with him? If so, what really gives it away? |

He and I live in different states (but we are not in a long distance relationship). I wanted to see him again while I was in his state two weeks ago. I sent him a text letting him know I was in town and he asked me for the address. I told him I would contact him once I got to the hotel. When I got to the hotel I asked him to come see me. He told me he was out of town but that he would be back the next day. I believe he said that because he had to work. Yet earlier that day he and I saw each other at the park. It wasn't planned we just so happened to be at the park at the same time. We walked right past each other and didn't speak then when he got far away he stopped and turned around he knew it was me. I was upset because he said he wouldn't meet me and he started calling me nonstop but I ignored his calls. Then I got drunk and wen off on him in text messages he called me again but I didn't answer. Last night I was with my friend who does do that teenage stuff. Me my friend and my brother were hanging out in my basement and my brother and friend wanted to smoke and I was at the point in my life where I was just like "f**k it let me just be normal. I ll just try it" so I tried it and got high. My friend on the other hand has two brothers who are recovered drug addicts who started off with weed as their gateway. And that s a reason why I was so against it. So now I m waiting for her to come over and I don t know if I should tell her I smoked or not. She has special needs but not bad just that she has the mindset of my age and learns in a age younger than me. She s 19 but more of a 16 year old. I feel like if I tell her she will cry and want to leave and my parents will find out (but they know that my brother smoked they would just never expect it from me) and she will tell her parents and family and they will all think low of me and I just don t want her to be upset and ashamed in me. We are definitely friendly with each other however now though I'd love to talk more often as I like like her ;) Now I see her in youth group once a week, as well as a camp for a week annually, and she really seems to like like me there. Her eyes kinda sparkle and she is constantly laughing, and I sometimes catch her looking at me and we have cute eye contact haha etc however I'm still get shy when I try and have a one-on-one conversation so we mainly talk when we're in groups. We're both quite shy to start with. The thing is we rarely text and it's kinda confusing, when we do text sometimes we have a very good convo with jokes etc, she asks questions and quick responses so she seems to wanna talk to me, but other times when we text for some reason she takes ages to respond and doesn't seem that interested at all. Recently she popped up to me because my dad's just be told he's got cancer and she's been through a similar situation, so she said she'd be happy to chat when I need to about that, but apart from that she hasn't ever popped up to me. So this Jason that I really don't like ( he a badboy and he is trying to steal my best friend) saved my life last week. When I was walking back home this man drugged me and shoved me into his van but Jason saw him and then quickly ran up to us and beat the **** out of him. | Question: Am I a pussy for not wanting to drink alcohol? Posted: 27 Mar 2016 12:11 PM PDT Last night I went out to hang with a couple friends and we ended up drinking. At first we drank beers and then we moved on to yager bombs. I really dont like the feeling that alcohol gives me when I consume it because it makes my head throb. I ended up throwing up last night twice and I just felt that I couldnt continue to drink and I just hated the feeling that it gives me. I told my friends that im sorry but I decided to stop drinking for good. They started to say oh dont be pussy man! They said that it makes me lesser of a man cause I dont like drinking! I dont think that it makes u leser of man! Thats absurd |

Posted: 27 Mar 2016 11:54 AM PDT My friend was criticizing me because she didn't like my bikini, note that she also has the same one in a different color. i was wearing a full coverage cup bikini with a mild amount of push up and i have c/d cup boobs, so not nothing but not huge. I also workout everyday and i am in decent shape. she was upset that guys were checking me out at the beach......we are both 22.....why is this a problem?....she then goes to tell me that i am terrible at talking to guys, but I've never seen her tried to flirt without stumbling and stuttering over every word? |
| Question: My friend eats my food.? Posted: 27 Mar 2016 11:35 AM PDT So basically I have this friend. She is great I love her but she has this one big problem. I have lunch with her (I'm in middle school so we can only sit at one table). And I sit with her. I'm not known to bring awesome lunches. But with her it seems like I'm that person with great lunches. She takes my food. I feel like I have to pack so that she won't take my food. Like I can't bring Oreos or she will take them. One time I bought popcorn at school and I really wanted it all to my self so after I ate some I kind of rolled the bag up so she would get the idea that it wasn't for her. But no. She reached over and took it out of my hand. Scenario 2: so I brought a Schlotzsky's sandwich to school (they are awesome) and I brought the jalapeƱo chips that I got with it. That day during lunch I had to go to the bathroom and I was scared to death that she would take my food while I was gone. When I came back to the table after going to the bathroom guess what I saw? She had taken the chips out of my bag and started eating them. She doesn't bring the best lunches to school and I thought I didn't either. She will just bring main food. But I always bring a fruit and a snack. IM NOT A BUFFET!!! It's frustrating. I talked to her friend who had lunch with her last year and she said she had the same problem. help me I want to eat good food at lunch. :( sorry if this is long... I would tell her not to but I feel bad trust me i have tried. One time my other bestie sat with us and she knows about this problem (btw she isn't supposed to sit with us) she kinda told her but I don't think it helped i would sit with other people but there are 3 groups of girls at our table- the popular people, the I don't know them well people and then us :( i don't want to sit alone. |

| Question: How to stop being shy? Posted: 27 Mar 2016 11:11 AM PDT I come from a good family but was bullied for most of my childhood at school & became very shy. Whenever I made close friends they would ditch me for popular kids who bullied me for being nerdy & chubby, though I'm prettier now. I haven't had a close friend in 3 yrs now & I'm quite lonely. I think my self esteem is the problem. I always assume others hate me & nobody will ever want to be my friend. Part of me wonders why anyone would want to be my friend as I think I'm weird/boring. I fear I bother others with my presence & I don't really try. How can I fix this? I'm 17 btw x |

I mean she has EVERYTHING most girls wish they had, beautiful brown skin (well maybe not ALL girls), a curvy body, and plus she's tall and gains weight in the right places. I mean this girl has it ALL!!! I got so pissed off when she says she hates herself and wishes she was beautiful and skinny. I told her that it's a bunch of bullcrap and she knows that. Not every skinny person is healthy or attractive (no offense). She says she wishes she was white like me or latina and she's really making me mad so I called her out and I was blunt to the point. I told her, "That is it! I am tired of you talking bad about yourself! You are beautiful the way you are. Most people kill to have what you have, and there's people that are trying to be like you. You're just so ungrateful about what you have. Stop wishing for something you'll never have and be blessed. EVERYONE is beautiful different shapes and sizes. So what if you're not skinny. Skinny isn't attractive and most women DIE for a body like yours. Even I do. As a white woman I sometimes wish I had an afro or can do hairstyles you can. STOP BEING SO ******* UNGRATEFUL!" We were both kinda shy snap chatters, so we'd rarely bother each other. He used to say he hated snapchat. Then all of a sudden he started sending more stories to all his friends, shade like "No ones home" "I should've skipped 5th period" "My dad can see my texts" I was concerned about the deceptive nature and asked about it once, but for the most part I tried to be respectful. I knew he'd only lie anyway. Then suddenly he unfriended me with no explanation or warning sign, even though we had just laughed together in a conversation the day before, even though he's told me before that he's not the unfriending type (hed seemed to unfriend me an instance before). He acts like it never happened, sometimes even talks about snapchat posts he's made. I never brought the unfriending up, I thought he'd think I was stupid. But I'm scared our friendship -or worse, him-is in trouble. |

Being a single mother I did not have much money to spend on tutors. I knew a family friend Bob who could tutor her and I hoped he would be cheaper that the tutors the school gave me. I called Bob, a 26 year old single guy, and told him my problem. He said he would be happy to tutor my daughter for FREE and he did. My daughter raised her grade for F to A in math. A marvelous accomplishment. Since Bob would not take any money for his tutoring (he said he did not charge friends for his help) my daughter and I decided to take him to an expensive restaurant for a meal as a way to say thank you. We had a great meal, great conversation and a lot of fun at the restaurant. Jokingly my daughter asked Bob if he had ever been on a date with 2 women at once. Bob said you mean 2 BEAUTIFUL women at once. We all had a good laugh. My friends that I told about this said I should not have been on a date with a guy 10 years younger than I am. It made me look like a cougar. I tried to point out to them that if it was a date why did I take my daughter with me. I told my friends there is nothing wrong with a woman going on a date with a much younger guy. They are not buying it. Please tell me what you think. Is it OK for a woman to date a much younger guy? And was Bob hitting on me, my daughter, or both of us? |

I couldn't have been happier at my school. but now I kinda feel like I am not wanted nobody wants to hang out with my and I get left out my parents have givin me the choice to move to a different school where my cusion goes. but I don't know. I wont have no friends. and I don't know if I want to leave the people I grew up with. got any advice? |

| Posted: 27 Mar 2016 09:34 AM PDT so a few months ago my mom took my phone bc she found out i was bisexual and freaked out. This caused me not to be able to make contact with any of my online friends or the ones i have at school. The problem is im getting my phone back soon and im kinda worried none of my friends will want to talk to me since its been so long since i had my phone. Specifically my online friends. I told a few of them the situation but my friends at school just laugh and call my mom crazy. I've never had a friend who's actually been there for me in a situation or has given me the time to say how i feel. Im kinda thinking abt dropping all of them bc they're just a waste of time. As for my oline friends im scared they will forget about me or just laugh it off. When i get my phone back do i text them right away? What should i say? |
