Question: What does it mean when a guy defends you? Posted: 15 Mar 2016 01:18 PM PDT So during language class we had to read a fragment from a book out loud and this guy asks me what my grade is. I had a pretty good grade so when I told him he was all shocked like "OMG how do you have better than me??? i have way worse!!" (yeah he's pretty annoying) AND THEN this other guy i might be slightly interested in comes in the conversation and says, "well yeah she did better than you and put a lot more effort in it...so" I was just wondering if he was merely stating his opinion or actually defending me with a purpose...? i honestly thought it was kind of cute LOL also at this exam i wanted to ask the teacher a question but the teacher said "No more questions its too late now" and then he asked what my question was and answered it. Idk the fact that he went out of his way to help me was nice. Is he just simply being friendly or is there something more to it??? |
Question: Husband wants to travel to Alaska. he is not in great health. What to do ? Posted: 15 Mar 2016 12:54 PM PDT Here's thge thing: he is diabetic, on insulin, and high blood pressure medication. He usually has some odd ideas that are not sound. Now, he wants to go to Alaska, and build a hut out of trash bags and boards. We have a decent apartment here, and I have all of the material things I could want. He plays online games most of the day,so going on an adventure, is an idea. But Alaska !? I hate the cold. We live in Southern Virginai, where the weather is mild. Which I love.Outside of the death threat that was placed on my Facebook almost a year ago,( that nothing was done about by the police) life is good. When I asked him where he got this cockamamie idea to go to Alaska and build a hut out of trash bags and planks and put a wood-burning stove in the middle of it, he replied " You Tube !" I dunno if he is jesting with me, or if he has lost his mind... He wants to build a yurt and "live off grid". He has lost his mind ! He has not clearly thought this through. Should i be worried ? Or amused ? |
Posted: 15 Mar 2016 12:46 PM PDT Does this mean they want to meet in person? Should I reply with times I am available? |

Question: Why would my ex message me on a dating website?? Posted: 15 Mar 2016 10:00 AM PDT I dated this girl and we really hit it off but she has bi poler disorder so it's like dealing with someone who has 20 personalities. To make a long story short she was going to leave me for a ex who lives 1000 miles from where we live. Plus he wants nothing to do with her. Also all this happened out of the blue with little to no reasons. She also try's to tell me I'm drama. Anyway she recently messsaged me on a dating web site. Wanted to talk and she was calling me Hun and trying to flirt. I have not talked to her in weeks but I know she has my number also my Facebook. So why is she trying to message me on a dating web site ?? I mean i do care about her it's just rough dealing with her ups and downs ? One day I'm drama the next she's messaging me on a dating web site...what's going on with her?? Can anybody give me any insite ?? Maybe a women's opinion ? |
Posted: 15 Mar 2016 09:50 AM PDT My Mom hates my bf! She hates when he comes over! It's starting to ruin our relationship, as my Mom I want her to have my back and support me in whatever I do, and she's never been that type. We really don't like each other at all. She tells me she feels sorry for me and that I'm pathetic, and she's so lucky she's not me. Since my bf has come along its gotton worse. This is my first real bf, I'll come back from his house and she calls me a whore! Which I'm a virgin, and she knows that. She saw on a text where we were talking about some of the things we had done which none were sex! And she flipped and called me a nasty whore and a piece of trash! Which I'm over 18 btw. I feel like I have no one on my side! I know I'm none of those things, but it still hurts me my Mom would say it to me. I feel like that I'm on my own, and have no one. If her friends come over and I say something a little out of the way she freaks out. Her boyfriends son made a mean comment to me a long time ago and she didn't say nothing to him right then. I feel sad and alone! And wish I had a mother who was kind and understood me. I've never been in trouble, and the things me and my bf do are the only things I've ever done with anyone, so I know I'm not a slut, it just makes me sad. Why is she so mean? Why is she so mean? |
Question: I love my husband he's a nice guy but? Posted: 15 Mar 2016 09:22 AM PDT I have met another man who is 10 years older than me. We just get along great. We have same attitudes and same lame sense of humor. We make each other feel good and he is very respectful of me and the fact that I'm married. I know he likes me too but he won't make a move when I'm married. My husband and I have been married for 10 years and have 2 kids, age 6 and 2. Our marriage isn't bad, he is a great father but Im tired and bored. I feel like my husband doesn't get me and my personality like the other guy does. I was 23 when we got married and I just feel I was too young. Advice? |
Question: Boyfriend is fine just seeing me on weekends? Posted: 15 Mar 2016 08:42 AM PDT We've been going out for 8 1/2 months. He's in his thirties and I'm late twenties. He works a physical job and is tired in the week, so we spend most of the weekend together, and stay at each other's places. Bu during the week he's tired. But the other weekend, he seemed to suggest that he wouldn't mind staying at my place. I've part bought a flat and he can pay rent to stay with me and help me. I just think, especially now, for the next few weeks while he's working near me, he could stay at mine sometimes. Or is this being needy? He'll go home and go to his friend's for half an hour, then just wants to crash. But if he wants to, he can crash at mine. We both live just over an hour from each other by train. He says it gives us time to miss each other, which I get. I like my own time too, but once in the week would be fine. We do sometimes, but rarely. |

Question: Is this odd or embarrassing or both? Posted: 15 Mar 2016 04:08 AM PDT That my grandpa knows how to cook but my grandma doesn t? Well he makes the best enchiladas and knows how to bake muffins straight out of the oven whereas my grandma doesn t even know how too cook at all like she doesn t know how to make cookies. My grandpa knows how to make cookies too. I feel ashamed ! Is this normal? |
Question: Are my expectations unrealistic? Posted: 15 Mar 2016 03:13 AM PDT I would like a guy who… -Isn't using his pc or phone a lot and is barely texting -Who meets his friends once or twice a month and doesn't stay late (is home by eleven in the evening) -Who likes to talk and share everything with me -Who enjoys having hobbies with mem rather than with his guy friends -If he happens to go out, he would text me every 2 hours just with a short update on what he is doing -Would try to come from work as early as possible (even if he loves his job) so we have more time for each other -Would like to spend every evening after work with me, as well as weekends -And someone who is not having or interested in having female friends or talking to any other females in general (unless necessary) p.s This is how i am in a relationship. I simply dedicate myself to a person and want to spend most of my time with him. Oh, i am also not a teenager, but a 32 years old grown up :S |
Posted: 15 Mar 2016 03:00 AM PDT I dated a guy for eight years who suddenly just left me and had no reason , he said he was with me because he did not want to be alone and that it is him and not me, this happened when he had gone trough extreme stress at work. He also said that he does not want to marry me and be a bachelor. He spent a lot of time in front of his computer when we were together and on weekends he seemed to visit his mom a lot and not be home. He also always spoke about himself and never wanted to listen to my problems. As I understand it he had this perfect picture of what our relationship should be like. I should be happy all the time so I can make him happy. This could not work for me as last year was probably one of the worst years in my life, I got high jacked I was in 2 car accidents and I almost lost my job. Besides that I was always there I always went where he wanted me to go and be I had to give up my friends and when ever I went somewhere without him he got mad at me. I cooked cleaned and washed all his clothes. When I went somewhere for work I made sure that he had clean clothes food to eat, beers in the fridge and even gave him money for petrol, even though he earned 3 times what I earned and could not save anything I still had to provide him with money, as he used his money to buy new and exciting things for himself. Sometimes I had coup a soup at work while he ordered pizzas and take out. 8 years of my life gone to someone who is selfish actually only cared for himself. |
Question: Have you ever wished you could un-meet certain people? Posted: 14 Mar 2016 11:13 PM PDT This could be either someone who annoys you or someone who used to be a good friend...because I'm kinda feeling this way about a friend, tbh... And wishing that I didn't know stuff about their life... |
Posted: 14 Mar 2016 10:27 PM PDT He's really sweet, we have nicknames and everything. but, I don't know anything about him besides his name. He asked me for a full body picture and I said no, it took some time but he finally gave up. I'm starting to feel like I just got myself into something that I can't get out of. I know he's older than me but I really like him. I don't know what to do. What if he turns out to be a pedo? By the way, I don't know how old he is (I just know he's older) but he keeps saying he loves me. He asked what school I go to, where I live, and for full body pictures. I said no to all of those things, he's still around. |

Question: My Son thinks the words kill and die are funny? Posted: 14 Mar 2016 06:23 PM PDT At the beginning of febuary, My son and I were watching a really sad movie. When the part where someone announced that someone had died came up, My son bursted out in laugher. I was confused on how he thought it was funny, But I rolled with it. Ever since then, My son is constantly laughing when ever someone says die or kill in a movie, video game, book or real life. Recently one of our family members passed away and when we announced it to our family members, I saw my son holding in a laugh and pretending that he was crying. Does he have an immature sense of humor, or is this something more serious. What can I do? |

Question: I need some advice on this situation? Posted: 14 Mar 2016 06:03 PM PDT My friend went out with a guy she met online. He is a younger man. They went out twice already and he told my friend he really enjoys her company and talking to her. She recently asked him if he wants to meet again this Friday or next. He answered and said that he would let her know, it depends, and that he might be teaching soccer classes at night (he's a youth soccer coach). My friend is worried. Does this seem like a brush off or does it seem legitimate? |

Question: I know if I should believe this mgr in regards to my ex? Posted: 14 Mar 2016 05:29 PM PDT A Mgr (not mine) at work just asked me why I dislike her employee. The employee is a lying, manipulative, hyper sexual psycho. The Mgr. said, if it's over Mike, I don't think anything ever happened between them. Mike is my exBF and he and I worked together. The "employee" used to flirt with him and I always wondered if they ever did more than flirt. The Mgr. now says No. Should I believe her? Don't say I shouldn't care. I do. |

Question: Acting young and innocent role playing? Posted: 14 Mar 2016 05:00 PM PDT Is it healthy if my boyfriend always wants me to act younger and innocent when we have sex and phone sex? I don't mind sometimes but it's all the time. We broke up before because he'd been looking at young girl porn and skinny "teens". He doesn't now, but it's been getting more and more weird, and it makes me uncomfortable a lot of the time. Is this normal or is this a problem? I don't want to have to act like a young girl to get him off. |
Question: When is unhappy too unhappy? relationship advice needed!!? Posted: 14 Mar 2016 04:10 PM PDT I feel as though I'm in a lifeless, passionless, boring relationship with my long term boyfriend. I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years. At first it was exciting and very passionate. But time took its toll and that passion has been lost. Our anniversary has just passed and he forgot it, we didn't do anything for Valentine's Day either. The more our relationship progresses the more I feel insecure about myself. My boyfriend never says he loves me of his own accord and we have no sex at all anymore. It's been months, and when we do he doesn't make an effort to make it anyway meaningful (no kissing just straight to the point) , I feel used. I do love him so much but I question his love for me. I'm unhappy and when I try to voice my concerns they fall on deaf ears. When I get upset about this he says he love me but I feel as though the words aren't enough anymore. Essentially the relationship has brought me to feel deflated, insecure , unattractive and unwanted I'm only 21 and I feel like I'm too young to be in a lifeless relationship at this point in my life but I don't want to loose my boyfriend as I really do love him . Any advice?? When do I give up? When is unhappy too unhappy ? It's also worth noting that I saw my boyfriends ex in his recently searched bar on Facebook which deepens my feelings of insecurity |
Question: Is this a good "Tell me about yourself " answer? Posted: 14 Mar 2016 03:46 PM PDT I was born in Bosnia & Herzegovina and moved to the U.S when I was 3.I enjoy helping others out and volunteer every now and then for school events.I love music and I ve been in choir since the 7th grade and have made many wonderful friends from it.Some of my favorite hobbies are playing tennis and singing. When I m bored I like to write stories, do crossword puzzles, and read the latest John Green book.I also love spending time outdoors and attempting to cook new dishes with my mom. |
Question: How do I make this up to my husband? Posted: 14 Mar 2016 03:31 PM PDT I feel like a terrible wife. I have a daughter with a different father than my husband. She is 11. Her father has always been around and been very good to her. Of course, he and my husband don t get along. Unfortunately some bad things have happened on my ex s side and he s going to jail for a few months on the 22nd of this month. I ve let him come and hang out with her a couple times because she misses her daddy and wants to see him and spend some time before he has to go. My husband hates this and I know how uncomfortable he must feel. Today I had to go to the store and her father was here spending time with her. She was upset and didn t want her dad to leave and she begged me to let him come. I knew the second I gave in my husband was going to be furious and I don t blame him. He said I make things very difficult for him. I m not defending myself I know it was a stupid decision. I just need help on how to handle this. |

Posted: 13 Mar 2016 11:04 PM PDT We are both graduate students in the United States. I KNOW he likes me either as a very close friend or crush. He keeps telling me he is single, but too busy to have a girlfriend. Yet, he keeps saying we should make dinner together, which I keep replying "well just tell me when," and he never does! He keeps bringing up what is common in China for dating and I try to telling him money and looks are not important to me (he is about 3 to 4 inches shorter than me). I was trying to be the one to pursue him and make my interests known, but then he basically runs away scared, but still talks to me via texts calling me "My lady." It does not help that I have caught him mumbling about "proposing and children" when I showed him a picture of my hometown. I'm so frustrated to the point I may just give up! Please, I need help and advice! |

Question: What do you interpret from this email? Some parts are clear others are not.? Posted: 13 Mar 2016 08:03 PM PDT The person is talking about being wronged in the past by others and how he chooses to cope. I'm not sure of the hidden meaning in this message, if any at all. Just a concerned friend. I am very vindictive, which is my worst trait.I will stay because I'm in love. But I have to put up with things in order for that to be. You have no idea the ends of which my twisted mind will go. In its demented way of being, it helps my "inner child" cope. Immaturity? The word "mental" comes to mind. And though on the outside it may seem as though the offenses have been forgiven, they have not. I will trust from the onset. But I will only do it once. Now you know why you deserve better. |
