I've already told her I'm there for her and so are my other friends. I told her I'm willing to help her no matter what and that we believe in her, all we want is just for her to trust us. But she just won't tell what's going on. A couple of weeks before she told me her parents were fighting. She's one of my best friends so I want to help her no matter what. How can I make her feel better?

My grandmother lives alone about an hour away from me and she is 72. She doesn't like going out anymore and usually just stays inside all day. When I try to suggest an activity such as going someplace or even just working on a puzzle she always declines. I just feel terrible because I only have time to visit on weekends and she says she is bored all the time. She also complains that when she does try to talk to friends its awkward because theres nothing to talk about. Should I be worried, or is it just normal? It really bothers me...

I'm 15, probably still too young to worry about this, but it's just glued into my mind. I don't really do to many "kid" things anymore, but I still watch cartoons when I'm just chilling on the couch. Im a naturally easy-going and friendly person. I get along with a lot of people and I'm known for waking up and introducing myself to others. But, when I was in middle school, there was this kid who used to make my life a living hell. Freshman year came around, and we had a sort of feud after I stood up for myself and insulted him. This year, I decided to make a change. I used him as a way to get homework answers. Yeah, a jerk move, I know. But, this kid was just a lot more responsible than me. So I cornered him after class one day and gave him my number. We texts mainly about homework, but there's been a few times we've had actual conversations. Almost everytime I try to text him and have a normal conversation, he ignores me. Hes even told me before that I was too friendly though all I try to do is joke around and lightly taunt him. We've been talking for about a month or so, but having a conversation with him is like walking on eggshells. He refuses to admit that he's sensitive, but the slightest joke sets him off. Our conversations mostly consist of homework or him bragging about his appearance. Other than that, he's standoffish. It's a constant on and off and I don't know exactly how to talk to him. I understand how things may be weird due to our past, but I was the one he bullied-not the other way around. He calls me his friend but it sure as hell doesn't feel like it. How do I socialize with a guy that makes it almost impossible to have a conversation?

I take a while to get comfortable and outgoing with new people and it drives me crazy. I started college fall 2015 and i'm currently in my second semester for freshman year. I have maybe 3 friends (or people i talk to sometimes) and I'm not even comfortable around them yet and we do not hang outside of class because I don't dorm. In my english class, my professor left for 5 minutes because she had to get something and everyone started talking to each other and i was maybe one of the few people in my class who wasn't talking to anyone. I've talked to 3 people in that class other times but they have other friends they are close to in this class. I felt like dying and those 5 minutes felt liek forever. I also don't participate because i'm scared i'll say the wrong answer or someone always calls out the answer before me. i went three consecutive days without speaking in that class (2 hour session). When i'm home i'm laughing, screaming, but when i get to school i'm basically mute in my classes. It's also hard to make new friends because people have other people they already know from the dorms/parties/etc.... I'm just so embarrassed that people probably think i never talk but i really am very outgoing and funny with my friends and family. Advice please?

so after a fall out with a friend (lets call her meg) we took each other off of social media including snapchat. well today I added lots of people on snapchat and literally just now i go on and press the 'added me' bit as its a bit weird no one has added back yet and there is the meg snapchat that says added by username. So i pressed the plus for add back/accept and i go to her one on friends list but it dosent have a snap number. so does that mean she added me and then unfriended again or something. I mean i dont remember having the notification and it wasnt highlighted yellow saying one pending request. My friend, R, is really annoying. Everything I do, she'll copy. Everywhere I go, she'll follow. If I'm walking with my best friend in the hallway, she'll come up to us and stand in the middle. Alright, so today in my probability and statistics (math) class, we were grading papers. The teacher handed each of us someone else's paper to grade. My friend gave me her paper and said she knows I'll bump her grade up and not judge the grade. When we finished, we had to give the papers back to the teacher so he puts them in the grade book. I hate it when people get credit when they didn't try, and she has been my friend for five years but I was fair and gave her the grade she got, an F. Hi evevryone, I am feeling kind of down and I am wondering if this is really the end of my friendship with my best friend. Well, I've known my best friend since we were 13 years old. Right now, we're 26. We only manage to get close at the age of 23 onwards. We were quite close... hanging out, playing games together, sharing the same common interest, meeting up whenever possible. Before that he had many issues with his work life... office politics and being left out but we always consoled and were there for him (like close brothers). So it all started last year... him, and my other best friends and me were in our whatsapp group chatting. We realize he would simply read our messages but didn't bother replying. Every meet up becomes a catching up session. Whenever I chat with him online he would just ignore and go offline (we did not even offend him at all). Then whenever we start asking him out for drinks he would give us excuses like "I can't have any alcohol, I'm on a strict diet". However, few days later, we would found out he had went out drinking with his other friends. Ironically, his other friends were his office colleagues whom backstabbed him and such... not sure why he got along with them. Now we feel very ditched out by him... because even me personally I would treat him to meals, restaurants and so forth. Even his birthday I would buy stuff online from overseas to have it delivered to him. I even purchase games in Steam as a gift for him. *more details later* Then last month or so we all planned to go overseas together. I suggested Europe and everyone agreed to it (even him). However, at the last minute, he changed to Asia without any reason. But I know he just wants to go Asia because he loves going there (for partying and finding whores). Instead of telling us why, he immediately push us to get the plane tickets and such. That's when I realize our friendship has deteriorated. It seems that he always care for himself and we've became his "tools". In the end I politely rejected the trip. My other friends didn't accept it also. And then our whatsapp group became awfully quiet with no one participating. He didn't even view our messages for over a week and he just left our whatsapp group! Is this a definite end of our best friends? Oh yes, I forgot to point out that he likes to argue with me over the smallest things. And he would try to win regardless of how he will do it; he can even offend me terribly just to win a small argument! He has also been calling us "losers" behind our backs. I have 7 cats and I've had cats for 13 years. I've never experienced anything like this. It is the most horrid odor possible. It's burning my throat nose. I can't breathe. Windows are open I've cleaned and scrubbed everything walls furniture items. I scrubbed the porch. The smell seems to be getting stronger. I've cleaned the litter boxes the walls. Could it be a gas leak. Wtf could be causing this hellish odor ive had cats for eons- they've sprayed my couch in the past and did horrible things- but it didn't produce a smell like this..i dont know wtf is going on really. Ive cleaned everything. Every urine spot, area. Maybe it did spray a couch but i don't see it- its scary

I have all A's and B's and she said I'm lost, I won't go to college with a few B's and has never said anything nice to me. She says I don't know how to do anything and will fail at life. My friend on the other hand got straight A's literally one marking period and now my grades are better than hers. That friend has her license and I don't. My mom says she wishes my friend was her daughter because she has her life organized and apparently mine is falling apart. She compares everything to that friend and says that friend is a professional and mature person and she says she hates her life because of me. I feel like scum, she even says that friend is way prettier than me and I'm nothing. What should I do?

Im 15 years old and i have really bad acne on my nose. For over 3 years i have had acne on the sides of my nose, and it was really bad, but when i started in 9th grade, it got so much worse, my whole nose became red every where, its impossible to cover it with makeup, because after an hour it cracks, and you can see the redness again, but now it s worse because of the makeup. I take the train every morning, and all i can do is stare at my phone or look down at the ground, because i am so embarrassed. And when someone speakes to me i can t even look at them, i just look down. Now allmost no one speaks to me, and when my class, begins to talk in a round cirkel or something, i just sit there at my table staring at my phone. I don t want to go to their parties, because i just sit alone, because of my nose, but inside i really really want to. I don t wanna get together with my friends, because i don t like that their family is there, and i certainly don t wanna go shopping with them at the mall in public. There is so mang things i really want to do, but i just can t😭😣😰 I just need it to go away, i can t live like this, please help me😁😣😭

I'm a teenage guy with about 2 inches of black hair, whatever one i pick i have to keep it that way for a month, except #2 for a month and a half, my options are: 1) Get a Mohawk with the sides shaved bald and shave my legs and armpits 2) Shave all the hair on my body other then my head bald including eyebrows, arms, armpits, legs ( I would have to keep them shaved for a month and a half) 3) Shave my head completely bald and also shave my armpits 4) Dye my hair blonde and shave my eyebrows and legs 5) Shave all the hair on the right side of my body, half my head, one eyebrows, one leg, one arm, one armpit Please answer I'm doing it today

Me an the girl become friends at work. I had a meltdown. I got really weird on her blamed her for things sent her countless texts. Needless to say the friendship ended erased her number etc. That was a month ago. Since then I've seen a therapist an resolved a lot of my issues. Anyway was cleaning out my work email an found her number. Would it be weird to text her?

Reason I don't really like him is because my ex are in the group of people he hangs out with on weekends, and in school I was telling another classmate about one or two arguments her and I had and the guy added a comment "Yeah I could tell there wasn't much trust towards you" and added to not be worrying about him telling her anything - it's not like I had been saying anything bad about her, I just mentioned what her and I had argued about before. That weekend I got a phone call from my ex on the guys phone asking me if I had been telling people on school that we were having "issues" that led to our breakup, and I reassured her that I hadn't said that we had "issues" and that our breakup was mutual (which is what I had told people). So of course I don't really like the guy anymore because he went against his word and acted like a dick, but also because he has't brought it up or apologised because of it. I've been dry with him for the last two weeks, but he hasn't got the hint (he has Asperger's, like me, but even I would be able to tell that someone wasn't interested if they behaved the way I am). Today he invited me to his birthday which is a little over a month away, and I don't know what to do because a) I don't want to cause drama between my ex, her friends and me if I don't go and b) I'm still annoyed at him. What do I do? Another thing to add, he's in my class as well, so it makes the situation even more awkward/difficult

so when i was in high school i wasn't popular i'm normal and after i graduated i really felt that i need to be famous and popular in college. so in college (now) i'm very popular and different than me when i was in high school. alot of friends says that i look very pretty right now . i have alot of friends and boys who wants to date me.. but then right now i feel lost in it and i don't know. once i felt what it was like not to be popular but then now i feel the joy of being popular. suddenly i feel unfair for those whose not popular. in college i feel like i can do anything without getting judge by people only because i'm popular. but when i'm in high school i was judged easily if i did something wrong. what do you think? do you really think that being popular is a must? or not?

I'm a teenage guy with like about 2 inches of black hair. I went to get a haircut and wanted a trim on top and a number 4 on the sides and the back. She must of misunderstood me because she shaved the sides and back bald and left the top. I look so stupid, what should I do? Do you think I should shave the top off to and just go bald, would that look better?

I am sorry if it seems a bit depressing , but I feel like I am very sad and hopeless so I need someone's help, I have been a stranger in a country for 2 years and a half , I have no real friends her , my parents and my sister are the only people I communicate well with them , all my best friends from high school are in another country. Anyway , last way I was so happy with a guy who wanted commitment and I thought finally someone will love me , he broke up with me suddenly and I have been through mild depression till now , I faught the hurt with studies , work , reading , I also tried to enhance my social life but everyone at college is a back stabber, I am a very sweet and flexible person but I don't get the same , no guys are interested in me at college and even never anywhere out. I wonder why since I am not ugly people say I am cute but I don't believe it anymore because I feel unwanted. The last few days were the hardest because I got that the guy whome I loved last year got engaged and now is ready to move to a new apartment and gef married. I was very shocked and I was too weak and puked at night. I am very sad since I feel unimportant and ignored. What's going wrong with my life I wanna feel happy again ?

Im 22 and female. Im not a lesbian but I find it hard making friends with girls. I only have male friends. Im not interested in nails or gossiping or just general silly conversations so I struggle to find topics to talk about. I really dislike girls nights out where they all dress up and drink wine. I like to dress nice and look good but the whole gossiping and attention thing I hate it. I know all girls are not like this but its hard to find some who are not or to try and influence others to be like me. What can I do?

Basically i got a boyfriend 2 months ago and well its the first time ive gotten a relationship like this. I was diagnosed with depression 2 years ago and pushed everyone away slowly but he stayed. Anyways since i dont have much energy most of the time, and he demands a lot of attention (which i dont mind) so i spend it all on him and dont have much left for other people. I barely talk to my best friend and she doesnt seem to mind for some reason. Am i a bad person for doing this? I basically ignore my 6 other friends. They miss me but i dont have the energy to. Any advice?
