So i am doing a speech for my class about how girls are treated in the middle east the dominating realign there is islam and i wanna know during weddings is there bride price dowry or nothing. I don t wanna know what it says in islam i wanna know what people there generally do.

So I have a kay credit limit of 400$, I went to kay and the selller shows me a 399 (960 after all the fees and tax) that took my breath away, i know my girlfriend will love it and I want it but I have to put down 250 deposit which i dont have...so as long as the ring , with tax and all is under 400 I can walk out the store with the ring? and of course i'd have to pay monthly and im fine with that. anyone know? also, any cheap ring buys i can get ? i know i will replace her engagement ring with something more luxury later on but im aching to marry the woman of my dreams i can bare to wait anymore.

I m engaged to my daughter s father, who I ve known for 30 years. We split homes when my daughter was 1. Why did he want to get back with me after all these years? He said he s getting older and wants his family back. He is definitely an introvert. Proposed through text, :(. The ring he bought, I took back and got one I liked more. It s more expensive, but I m paying the diff. He wanted to either go to Vegas or to the courthouse to get married. To him weddings are just a "show". He even agreed to get married at my church with just us and a couple witnesses. But I, and my daughter, are very excited and want a wedding with family present. Hoping he d give in, my daughter and I went shopping and walked out with my near $2000 wedding dress the same day. We put down payments on the decorator, florist, photo/videographer, bought bridesmaids dresses, and started on the tuxes, booked the honeymoon, got our marriage license, met with the pastor, the whole family and my coworkers know about it. I think he is being stubborn and selfish, no compromise. I thought since I d paid all this money, he d go ahead and go through with the wedding with just a few family members, but all he does is pout now. He doesn t call me much anymore or act like he s excited. He doesn t want to talk about the wedding because it "stresses him out". I d be so embarrassed if I have to cancel it all. And I d hate to walk down the aisle just to see him standing there looking as if he is unhappy.

I m having a rustic style wedding and I was wonder beside cowboy boots what kind of shoes can I have my bridesmaids wear?

It would just be the two of us and we are US citizens. If you have any advice on paperwork that would be great! The big question is where can we have a ceremony around 500 pounds or less? It would be nice if some things were included like a nights stay, photographer, officient ect... We do not want a church wedding. A castle or outdoors would be great.

we spent thousands of dollars, my mother inlaw put so much effort into the wedding that i felt bad, had my brother drive 10 hours to walk me down the aisle, and no one showed up. well 20 people showed up. no one ate any of the food we spent hundreds of dollars buying and making, and 15 of them left before we could even cut the cake. (our wedding was a ceremony and reception combined) walking down the aisle, looking at all the empty chairs, the untouched tables... i just wanted to cry. i was so sad and embarrassed, and just really heart broken. we were suppose to have an after party, but i didnt even want to go. i just went to sleep. even today, i still feel pretty bad. i dont understand how so many people could say they were coming, and just not show. it was a disaster. a sad depressing disaster that i dont even want to remember. I did the programs myself, really put in so much time and energy, and this happened. i guess my question is, how do i cope with knowing that the best day of my life turned out to be a very sad one? we couldn't even get the rental car we were suppose to go out of town with for our honeymoon. ( everything was booked) we have to work on tuesday, so its just really sad. i dont feel the way i thought i would feel. especially knowing all that money we spent could have bought us more time off of work to at least enjoy our honeymoon. ahhh! just a complete disaster.
