When I was 16 I was sexually assaulted, and I didn t tell anyone except my current boyfriend. I am now 19. For the most part I have kept it blocked out but for some reason its been on my mind recently. My mom and I are really close and I want to talk to her about it, but I m afraid she ll get sad or upset. I just feel like she should know, but I don t want to burden her. Any advice?

When I was 6 my dad got me a dog. Dad would refuse to walk Max claiming he had no time and all. When max would pee or poop on the floor, he'd get mad. He eventually started beating the dog and lock him in his cage all day. I never saw the beatings because he would never do it in front of me. I only found out years later. My sister had enough of my dad and took Max in. When she would work, she locked Max in her room the whole day so my dad couldn't go in. She took care of him. My dad didnt like that. Saying he bought me the dog and that he was mine. I didn't mind sharing but then I saw less and less of max. My dad turned me against my sister and manipulated my innocent mind so much growing up it still affects me. My dad eventually tried to hurt the dog again but then my sister got in between. He ended up kicking put my sister, his stepdaughter and she did. My mom was posses at my dad and told my sister not to leave but she did because she couldn't stand living with him and told my mom to leave as well. Mom never did. He left her, years later. Mom yelled at me today saying that I never help out at home and that I need to bathe my new dog she got me a year ago for my birthday now that my father wouldn't be around anymore. My mom went on a whole rant while taking me to school. She was probably upset and letting off some steam with is fine. All up until she said that the reason Max would pee was because I was lazy and I would never take him out or stop the abuse. Is my mom right?

I've been having deep feelings for my best friend who is a guy for the last month and a half. We spend a lot of time with one another and things are going great between us. He's tall, tan, handsome (take that back gorgeous), loving, caring, smart, down-to-earth, humble, and a gentle human being. We've opened up to one another about our feelings for each other numerous times. Sometimes, we will stay at each other's places and just talk for hours. We've kissed, but never had sex. He makes me dinner, if I am over at his place or if he comes over to my place, I will usually have dinner for us made. We just enjoy one another's company a lot. I care about him a lot and I know he cares about me but why do we fall in love with the unexpected person we are involved with? Is it a naturally affect that humans have? Are we born knowing this affect will happen or is it just a sudden affect that happens between two people? We haven't discussed sex or anything sexually related and I don't know why it hasn't come up or if it should come up so early in our friendship or loving relationship that we have. So why do we fall in love when we least expect it?

I have feelings for a co-worker, but I can't tell if he's into me or just being nice. When we are alone it seems like he's into me, asking me personal questions like my interests and where I like to hang out. At times it feels like he's flirting, like joking about his massage skills and offering a massage or telling me about his muscles and offering to show me sometime. Hi during literature the teacher gave us the task to write sonnets in pairs or alone and these 2 guys decided to write a sonnet about me???? what does this mean? Im pretty well known for being funny but not rlly for being pretty or anyhting (only girls say that im cute because im so short) so idk maybe they are just making fun of me....?? it was a very lighthearted sonnet. They are merely classmates ive met from this year begin september. i dont really talk a lot to them idk. At first they described my good traits saying i have beautiful eyes and that people would start wars to win over my love?? The volta was that they asked me to get a cookie out of a jar out of a tall cabin??? and they were basically just saying that im short LOL overall the sonnet was kind of nonsensical and kind of funny so it basically wasnt very serious.

In 6 months I plan to move into their place. The month I move in will be our 4 year anniversary. I love his mom and we get a long well but I know there is a big difference between spending multiple nights over and actually living somewhere. I love my boyfriend and I was hoping when we live together it would've been initially just us but financial situation makes it not possible till 2017-2018 so we decided to have me move in with him and his mom so we could save to get our own place. I was hoping to hear situations where this did work out good. Most of what I read are horror stories and it's made me nervous.

Hi, I have a friend called D.J. He told me that his neighbors have been ridiculing him and calling him names such as "Hey, F Hey!" He is thinking about making peace with them but he isn't sure if they will accept it or not. He said that it all started when a little kid came to his front door and gave him a warning about something he supposedly did earlier, but he ignored that child because he felt that it wouldn't affect him. Moreover, the person he wanted to apologize to wasn't that person. It was someone else. So, that made him to believe that the boy was sent to give him a "warning." After that "warning," he noticed that every night, there will be a group of people who come close to his front window and start screaming obscenities about him especially when they are drunk. He isn't happy about this at all and wants to do something about it. So, is there any advice you can give him? I am asking because he said that he has tried ignoring them, but it doesn't seem to work. So, he is thinking of making peace with them, but isn't sure if it will be accepted. He also said that if they don't accept it, then he will have to find another place to live because the noises they are making is becoming irritating especially when he wants some quiet time to himself to read, watch TV or sleep.

Ok, so I got a D+ on one test. And yes while this is true, my teacher made a 15 point mistake on my test. I would have gotten a B on it if she would have realized. Another student had a similar dilemma, showed her the problem and she got offended and threatend to lower his test grade. But because everyone except for one person got a D or an F, we had a retake. But, stupidly, I forgot to do one simple instruction on my retake and made me get a b- instead of an A (no, I didn't do that twice). But now she is going to make my parents sign the test and return it, which will get me in alot of trouble. If I show them the error the teacher made on the back, they will think I am making excuses, but when I'm really not.

So awhile ago I did something that I regret but left me scarred. I was using twitter and asked a simple question when a woman attacked me and said I was trolling. I took it personally and thought she was out to get me(I have ptsd etc) so I asked her why she thought so.. she kept dodging my questions and then her friends joined in and started insulting me. She finally answered my question. And then I attacked her even more.. thinking it would hurt her. But everytime I would attack her she would respond with a joke. I became continously frustrated and would cuss at her even more and again she would crack a joke. It is like I couldn't get to her. So i was having a meltdown and she wrote 'she is not minding it and she is happy I am having a meltdown.' Mind you I was looking up to this woman and the way she treated me was really painful and made me scarred. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

My gf is pregnant by some guy she didn t know well wants nothing to do with the baby. She didn t cheat on me it was when we were broken up. I decided to be with her because I love her to the moon and back. I ve been with her through the whole pregnacy. I'm not a close friend to this person, but she is a close friend to my grandfather. Last year in December her husband died from cancer, about 2 months ago, and i heard from my grandad that she is struggling with the death of her husband and she feels lonely,i have met her a couple times and she is a very nice lady, I don't think she is ready to contact me yet but i provided my number in case she needed anything and it has not been that long since her husband passed away.I have experienced a loss last year, my grandma died from cancer and so with me thinking of my grandpas friend and other of his friends that lost loved ones is tough,and i think the loss of my grandmother is whats driving me to be there for her.I know she is grieving, her and her husband have been married for 6 decades,which i think she is having a difficult time dealing with the loss which is understandable.I dont think she wants to contact me yet as she trying to work things through in her life and that i need work thru my own. i would like to get to better know her more and her family and everything about her,she is a very nice lady. i think she knew what my intentions were of sending her a note and giving my number. so then i need to leave her be and let her come out when she's ready I guess?? Ask yourself: what did you do for someone? Why? Did that person come out when they were ready even if you don't know them personally? What did they do or how they responded? how long did the person grieve their loss? I know some people would still be grieving once in a while even if they got though the worst part of it, rather it would be 2 or 3 months after their loved ones passing. Do you feel comfortable talking about life and death? Do you see death as a blessing?

EX daughter in-law lets granddaughter miss a lot of school. so far this year, 22 My son just found out from her school. They didn't bother contacting him till today. He is LIVID. Everyone has preferences. Like how there are so many white men and Asian women together. The same with white women and black men. But white guys are racist and get all mad when they see white women with black men, like get over it. Hi All, I am having difficulties in having sex/penetration with my wife. We both are virgins and recently got married. We both love each other. I dont have a problem in getting erection and she also doesn't have any issues in getting wet. The problem is when i try to penetrate, usually in missionary position, i have at times managed to penetrate the penis partially in but not fully enough to have sex. when i try to insert more, the penis slips out of the hole.
