Posted: 23 Mar 2016 10:36 PM PDT I am getting legally married on paper. We are not taking pictures, exchanging vows or rings, the most we are doing is signing a paper (my dad is a pastor) and having a dinner with immediate family. For personal reasons we have to do this. We are not announcing the marriage and we will not lie about the marriage. Then a year later May 6 2017 we will have a wedding (not vow renewal). I will walk down the ailse, have a nice dress, have a reception, and the whole works. Please don t bother commenting if your just going to complain about a "fake wedding" and not following wedding etiquette. It s my wedding... It s already been decided on how we are going to do things. THE ONLY THING I NEED TO KNOW IS: How should I word my save the dates/wedding invites? I just need some ideas for this... Thanks! 😻💋 |

Question: Can I Legally Get Engaged..? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 06:14 PM PDT I asked this before but adults just answered "this is so laughable" so only answer if you have helpful answers, please. :) So right now, I'm 13 and my boyfriend is 15. We want to get engaged next year when I'm 14 and he is 16. But we will wait until I am 18 to get married. He has been saving money, so yes, he has money for a promise ring. Is it legal for us to get engaged..?? |
Question: Is it legal for me to get engaged to him...? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 04:43 PM PDT So right now I'm 13 and he is 15. Next year, once I am 14 and he is 16, we want to get engaged. My friend is 14 and her gf is 16 and they are getting engaged. Is it legal? Because if it is, we are going to ask my mom. |
Question: We are going to miss nephews wedding this summer due to plans we already had.? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 10:51 AM PDT Our vacation is all paid for and non refundable. we mentioned it to family months ago. Now, a wedding is When I told them we would be away and explained that we can't cancel without loosing tons of $$, they were still pissed. There is nothing I can do. What can I say to them?? |
Posted: 23 Mar 2016 10:51 AM PDT We are going to be married in August and we are dealing with guest lists. His mom wants us to invite the cousin/ex. He doesn't care and says hes over it, but our wedding will be the first time I meet his cousin/ex :/ He says there are no feelings btwn them and all I know is that they were secretly dating for 3 years he was 20-23ish. We started to date a yr after this and its been 3 great years. IDK if I'm reading too much into being kept in the dark has anyone had a similar situation?? correction 2nd cousin not 1st, and its a big family but they all are kind of close thats why its hard to avoid dealing with it at this point, and I've heard she is the type to cause problems. |
Posted: 23 Mar 2016 10:24 AM PDT It is not an engagement ring. It has 23 0.10 karat stones next to each other all around the ring. Don t ask why he swallowed it he s just crazy. Please i need help should i go to the ER or should i wait a few hours till he poops and see if its there? |
Posted: 23 Mar 2016 09:30 AM PDT she has like twenty eyeshadow palettes, over 200 lipsticks, and no telling how many concealers she has. She has enough makeup for a life time. no clue why she buys new makeup literally every day even though makeup DOES expire. i keep telling her she needs to buy things she actually needs like clothes and shoes because she wears the same shirt almost every day and its kind of nasty tbh. i raided her closet and she has like hardly any clothes or either they don't fit. it's crazy. but she will buy the same lipgloss colors over and over again. her excuse for this is that she is an aspiring makeup artist and needs to build her knowledge about products by testing them out but it still sounds weird to me. she hasn't bought new clothes in years and when we go to a fancy restaurant she will wear a tshirt with holes and stains on it, ugg boots that have bleach on them, her hair is not done ( its matted), but she will have a full glam makeup face. she always talks about how she doesn't have enough money for clothes and makeup is something she has to invest in her for her career. nobody is going to hire her as a makeup artist if her face is glammed by her clothes and hair and discheleved. what i'm wanting to know is.. is this is a mental disorder and what should i do to get her to seek help |
Question: Groom and groomsmen wearing different suits? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 08:49 AM PDT I asked this the other day and decided to expand on the question. By the time I'm married, I'll have 3 tailored suits. (charcoal, navy and light grey) all 3 would be appropriate. Would it look out of place for me to wear one of those suits and the groomsmen have different colored rentals? I.e. Me in navy with brown shoes. Them in medium Grey with black shoes. It just doesn't make sense how I've seen brides in white and the bridesmaid in brown, red, blue, etc. yet the groom and groomsmen are almost completely matched, perhaps different shirts and ties. |
Question: Can I Get Married Without a Ceremony? Posted: 23 Mar 2016 05:43 AM PDT Me and my boyfriend want to get married. He wants to get married soon before we move or at the latest before he deploys again. He said we could just go to a courthouse and get the stuff signed. I do want to get married but I also want to wait until we can have an actual ceremony with our friends and loved ones. I feel like if we have a courthouse wedding then our actual wedding day won't be as special. Is it possible to just go and sign the papers or will we still have to have a ceremony at the courthouse? What would be the bare minimum that we could do and still be legally married? |
