Question: Can they impute income for the custodial parent? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 07:54 PM PDT My ex wife has not worked for 10 years. We have an 8 year old daughter that is no longer eligible for SSI because my ex got remarried. She injured her back about 7 years ago and claims she can t work because of the injury. She has never been deamed unable to work from any Dr, just has some restrictions. Anyways, she wants more child support because she lost our daughter s SSI. I have no issues paying child support, but I feel taken advantage of by busting my butt to support my kids and she doesn t even try. Can they impute income for her because she refuses to work? |

Question: Why does my wife feel like she's entitled to tell me to quit my job? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 07:23 PM PDT My wife and I have a baby on the way, due in July. My wife will be resigning from her current job once the baby arrives, and I will take a 4 month paternity leave after the baby is born, then I will return to work full time. My wife may return to work part time, or even full time, after a year, but that's her choice. I don't work a standard 8-5. My hours are Noon - 10 PM M-Th, and Noon - 5 on Friday. I really like this schedule. I get off work during the week, and I go to the gym, go home, and crash. I get up at 8-8:30 AM each morning, and I have 3 hours to take care of anything I need to take care of at home. My wife wants me to get a new job, one that is an 8-5, but it doesn't appeal to me. I don't tell her whether or not to go back to work after a year, that's her decision. It affects me, and I do have a preference, but I'm not even going to try and influence her. Why does she have to do it to me? |

Question: My parents divorce ruined me.? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 06:40 PM PDT I know its something i can fix but it's not easy when i have clinical depression and severe social anxiety holding me back. I will say I am thankful in a way my parents got a divorce as it taught a lot about what not to do to ruin a faithful relationship. What saddens me further is when people say there teenagers all over who are experiencing the same thing, F*** that, every divorce is different and you cant set the bar low like that. This is why i feel nothing inside and have no source of motivation as nobody understands me or even wants to. |

Question: Wtf my fiancée of two years just chose his dog over me? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 05:08 PM PDT We have been together for five years, a year into our relationship he got a rescue dog. I have never liked the dog, it dominates his time. We decided to move in together and I found another dog owner for his dog. I told him before I moved in he would have to give his dog away and I had it arranged for him. He told me he wouldn't be giving up the dog. A week later his mind was still the same and I told him he had to choose so he asked for my keys and told me we were over. |

Question: Was my marriage legal? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 02:47 PM PDT i got married in 2000 to my now ex husband...we had a friend who worked at the court house, on a sunday morning she opened the court house and we obtained a marriage liscence. We got married later that afternoon (no waiting period) . in 2006 he filed for divorce (he cheated) ..in 2008 while we were still going thru divorce court (we couldnt agree on custody) ..he filed for another marriage licence to another woman, he lied on this marrisge license stating thst he was never married before...i filed a bigamy charge against him (which he was found guilty)..he never got annulled from the other girl...but they granted our divorce in 2010 ...now he is saying our marrisge was not legal because we got a marriage licence on a sunday when other tax payers could not (we took advantage)..is this true...even though we have divorce papers and he is guilty of bigamy?? |

Question: Can you give a little insight? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 01:43 PM PDT Our plumbing wasn t working so a friend offered to fix it for free. Then when I told my husband he got kind of mad and said he didn t want random people messing around in our stuff. I feel kinda hurt because I was just trying to help. I told him I tried to help because he said he didn t know what the problem was. Then he said he just didn t look at and his dad was going to try to fix it. If my friend wants to fix it then so be it. Question: WOMEN. HELP ME! How can I give my future wife the best night ever? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 12:16 PM PDT I'm 28 and will soon be married. I want to show my future wife what I can do in bed. We're both virgins as our religion says we have to be but I'm a VERY quick learner, so if you tell me what to do I'll do it perfectly, no worries. I want to make her to make her faint of pleasure. It's gonna be our first night of sex very soon. What can I do to make the best night? What do you women really want? Help me step by step. Thank you! |

Posted: 21 Mar 2016 12:08 PM PDT The fact is that some women are only attracted to money, whom I find disgusting and sick. How to recognize those scroungers since they play comedy all the time? |
Posted: 21 Mar 2016 11:45 AM PDT She was never that interested in her appearance when we met (we were both 21.) We're 24 now. In the last year she started her career as a dental hygienist and all of sudden she became interested in clothes and makeup. First it was buying heels, fancy dresses and blouses, then winged eyeliner and a face of foundation. She got injections in her lips, then cheek implants (her face, not her azz) and now she wants a boob job, nose job, her jaw shaved and a ton of other things. Shes saving right now for the boob job. What has happened? She says she's tired of looking like a kid (she looks no older than 18) but in 5 more years she'll look 25 so what's the problem? Is it somebody at her job? The freaking dentist? I forgot to add, in the morning when shes putting on her makeup, she'll get mad and rant about how she can't do anything right, the most simplest female tasks like applying false eyelashes rah rah rah. She'll say "I'm ugly, ugly." Other days shell say "you're not that bad" to herself! I've never called he ugly but I have said she's bad at everything she does. But she is. She makes a mess of everything. She can somehow pour cereal wrong and get it everywhere or drop things shes holding. I wouldn't let her near my teeth |
Posted: 21 Mar 2016 11:29 AM PDT I mean I'm not going to completely throw my husband away. He doesn't have to know since he's a good provider. What do you think? Even if he finds out I'll still keep the kids, the house, and get child support even if I remarry with another beta provider to take even more care of me while I continue enjoying the carousel. |
Question: Would you marry for love or money? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 11:09 AM PDT Please do not berate me. I am ambivalent to either stance. I believe you can marry for love AND money but if you had to choose between the two, which would you pick? Pros for love (examples): -Partner you really care about; hopefully mutual -Stronger security of togetherness (steadfastness; resilience) -Build a life together "from scratch" Pros for money (examples): -Security (can afford things such as expensive medical treatment) -Accessibility to navigate your heart's desire of interest without worry -If divorce occurs, security persists given a favorable pre-nup/alimony Note: I feel if you marry for money, it may be prudent to expect the partner to cheat. If one expects this, then no surprises and you still can have financial security after divorce. If you marry for love and do not expect this to occur and it does, this can have devastating effects on finances. However, one would have taken the "love risk" and experienced true love. |
Question: Guys would you divorce this woman? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 10:28 AM PDT My husband has some friends who are a married couple. They have several kids together and the wife recently began having an affair with some other guy who supposedly left his woman for her. This friend of my husband's, Jackie flaunts her affair all over the internet posting photos and telling her boyfriend she loves him and he treats her better than her husband. Her husband wants her back and puts that he loves her and doesn't seem to want a divorce. Her parents even post pics of the couple during happier times. Jackie also got pregnant by and lost a baby by her boyfriend thing. If you were the husband, would you continue to have hope that your wife would stop cheating and come back home to you and the kids or would you just divorce her? They also bought a house together, and I think it is in the husband's name. Jackie claims that her husband, Larry cheated on her multiple times in the past and she has every right to do what she is doing. |
Question: Don't agree with husband's decision to file modification against his ex.? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 10:10 AM PDT My husband filed a custody modification against his ex a while back. After time has gone on and we've gotten deeper and deeper into this, I don't think I agree with it and find it hard to support him. I just wish things went back to how they were with 50/50. What should I do? FYI, the modification has already begun and his ex and him have been knee-high in arguments. He's done well controlling what he says and learning to walk away. But I'm starting to wonder if it was a mistake. I find it hard to support his decision to carry forward with the modification of his son (my stepson). The modification is for primary care due to possible drug use. |

Question: Is my wife tired of me? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 09:05 AM PDT My wife and I rarely have sex. We have been together over 20 years. When I try to initiate sex she tells me she's not in the mood. Last month I found a rabbit vibrator hidden in her drawer. It looks like she has had it for awhile. What am I to think or do. |

Question: M&D: Is this a little too weird? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 08:30 AM PDT I PROMISE this is NOT a troll post. This REALLY happened this weekend, and I'm not sure how weird it is. My husband leaves for work at 4:30 am and he works some Saturdays, this Saturday being one he worked. He text me around 9 AM and told me he put his head between my legs (while I was sleeping) just to smell me, before leaving for work. He has NEVER said anything like that before, and has never done it, that I know of. I've also never been with a man who said/did such a thing. I don't feel violated, or anything, just kind of weirded out by it. What do you all think? Weird or not? What other fetishes, Mike? LOL, you act as if you know who I am. @Anon, he can get a little pervy via texting and stuff, I just never imagined he'd do something like that. I feel a little weirded out, but I'm glad you called it an odd compliment, because it does make me feel somewhat flattered. |
Question: Why should i put a spouse first when...? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 08:29 AM PDT When good women and and good men are usually taken advantage of while bad men and bad women who rarely put their spouses first often have faithful, loyal spouses for life? it makes no sense to me. Moreover, a spouse can be here today but gone the next. I will put a spouse first if they're right. Otherwise, no way.. One thing's for sure: my relatives and friends will never take a backseat to a spouse if the spouse is trying to make me choose. I can get another spouse, but never another relative. Friends are important too. You see it all the time: the bad guys and bad gals get the best wives and husbands, while the good women and men who put their spouses are used and abused. Why do something like this when it doesn't work? |

Question: Husband leaves during an argument. Even though they are very small arguments? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 07:30 AM PDT My husband and I are moving and currently he is working 6 days a week while my job doesn't start for a few weeks. We have two children one of which is currently in school. Lately we have been arguing over everything. Last night was his first day off since we have all been in our new home. We couldn't decide what to do for dinner and it turned into world war III. he grabbed his keys and stormed out. He then sent me a text saying he needed to " ******* relax" which he cannot do when he's home. I have been stuck in this house with my kids and nowhere to go and he abandons us when he gets pissy. I can't talk to him because he thinks he's above me because he's working right now. He kept making comments about me needing to do a load of laundry but apparently that's too hard for me. I am unpacking, cleaning, caring for the girls and he claims I do nothing all day. I need my space too bit he doesn't think I do because I'm not at work. He neglects to see that caring for a house and children is a full time job. I don't know how to talk to him about this because he refuses to listen unless I bow down to him. My family sees it and they have confronted me about it several times and I'm running out of excuses. I'm so very lost. |
Posted: 21 Mar 2016 07:29 AM PDT We are on our early 30s but have very little time to spend together. The usual night routine involves falling into each others' arms before falling asleep. That's it. She is Chinese and I'm Aussie. I work 50+ hrs a week on top of university study and language classes. We have a lot of pressure to try and meet our financial commitments. We never have sex. This year we have managed twice. That's twice in 3 months. She brought up the topic tonight and said she has no feeling because of our loans. I thought it was odd that she would mention sex. I didn't really make much effort and agreed that lately I haven't had any feeling either. I switched off my desire and buried myself in my work. But I'm beginning to wonder about her and if she is being faithful. We spend all day every day apart doing our work, classes etc. I don't understand how she can claim to have no feelings and no desire for any kind of release. I thought women usually would experience similar urges like us men? I am sometimes concerned about her. She mentioned that maybe she won't have any feelings for at least half a year? Any ideas on how I can solve this mystery? She isn't on medication or contraceptives. She was using porn to get into the mood but then decided even that doesn't put her in the mood anymore. Am I being fooled around? |

Question: I hate my husbands dog. What do I do? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 07:23 AM PDT My husband has a lab and it digs constantly. This is now the third yard he has destroyed and my husband sticks up for it. I bring it up because I don't want to live in a home where the dog tears things up and our kids can't even go out back to play because it is completely torn up. I have repaired things from that dog an uncountable amount of times and I've had it. He refuses to get rid of it and hasn't done anything to fix it besides tell me he fix the damages but fixing damages over and over will not fix him from doing it again. I am to the point of getting a divorce because I can't live this way anymore. I obviously don't want that, but my husband yells at me anytime I address the dog, the dog won't stop destroying everything, and I won't let my children be raised in a junky house and backyard that the dog destroys... I'm so sad. |
Posted: 21 Mar 2016 06:36 AM PDT my ex says that I have to take our child to his instead of him picking him up at my address, he keeps saying that if I don't he'll take me to court for custody, I've explained to him that im finding it hard to travel to his has money is a real struggle at the moment, also I have asked him if he could have his son over night every so often to give me a break, he says that the weekends are for his time to go out, I said how about once a month, he turned around and said that he would but don't make a habit out it. he is supposed to see him on a Saturday and Sunday, but he has cancelled some days to put his girlfriend first. (iam a little scared of him) |
Question: Child support court, ex wife wont pay. what to expect? Posted: 21 Mar 2016 05:48 AM PDT So I divorced my ex wife 3yrs ago now. In my divorce my lawyer included full custody & child support.now 3yrs later court has summoned us for her not helping with our son. She has been unemployed for the same amount of time and has not contributed to any expense most of our sons life. "He is now 3" in that same time frame she has been in and out of jail for theft drug peraphanelia, non payment in fines. And even getting a new born taken from her for meth use while pregnant. I have kept our son from leaving with her. But never stoped her from seeing her. because I don't know weather she is clean or not and if she is, well good for her. . But she lives with her boyfriend which is a meth user and dealer. So my question is What kind of an outcome can i expect with her non payment? I can do without her help. I dont wish her to go to jail. I also don't want to withdraw C/S. Also since I don't let her take our son she threatens me with telling the judge I won't let her ever see him, which is a complete lie. Can the judge have child support overturned in this situation? Can he also overturn my full legal custody? |

Question: How to stop being infatuated with a younger man when you're married? I can't help it.? Posted: 20 Mar 2016 11:48 PM PDT I met him last year and we speak here and there. I have this silly crush on him but it developed even though I don't see him often. His absence is making me desire him more. My husband is taking notice of how withdrawn I am. I love my husband but this silly crush is consuming my thoughts. The good thing is my crush knows I'm married so he is keeping his distance. But how to let this all go unscathed? |
Question: I'm being wrongfully accused of adultery and can't afford a lawyer.? Posted: 20 Mar 2016 11:01 PM PDT After 7 years of marriage, my husband and I agreed we want a divorce. He moved out a month ago but since then has become hostile and is telling people that I was unfaithful and that he has pictures to prove it. I confronted him about these accusations and demanded to see these pictures he was telling everyone about. The picture he sent me was one that a friend had posted on Facebook. In the picture, it is me, my friend that posted it and another mutual friend, smiling, at a bar. Except the copy of the picture he sent me had the caption "Hey! I'm **cking your wife!". I'm well aware of the possibility that he had added the caption himself but is there any possibility that something like this (easily retrieved from a public social network and easily edited) could hold up in court? I tried to research online what would be considered acceptable evidence but was so overwhelmed by all the search results. My worry is that our original "no fault" divorce could potentially become an "adultery" divorce because of these accusations and I can't afford a lawyer to contest if he chooses to go that route. Note: No children. No real assets to divide. *We live in Texas |

Question: As a husband, would you stay in a relationship that is apparently one-sided? Posted: 20 Mar 2016 10:13 PM PDT Backstory: I had a lucrative career as an IT worker, without a degree. However, the wife argued that we both need degrees & return to school. During that time my vigor to complete was sapped: 1. Max time financial aid appeals from previous credits 2. Rear-ending accident on the highway: hurt her back; spent a year in rehabilitation 3. MRI after the accident found a cystic ovary, cancer scare Now in spite of all I've also went through with her, my sapped drive makes her feel as though I'm no longer a man. |
