Question: Looking for a good jewelry store for an engagement ring.? Posted: 17 Mar 2016 12:06 PM PDT Looking for an engagement ring in Southern California. Was wanting some shopper experience on some of the jewelry stores in the area so I know where I can start looking for a good ring that isn't a rip-off. Wanting a white gold band with an amethyst. Budget isn't much of an issue as I've saved up a good sum over the past year. Thanks for any help I can get! I live in Santa Ana so that should narrow it down quite a bit. |
Question: We have a groomswoman - what do we do about the bachelor party? Posted: 17 Mar 2016 11:18 AM PDT It's the groom's sister - she's the only girl. For people who have had bridesmen/groomswoman before - do they normally go to the bachelor/ette party with whoever's side they're standing on, or the opposite sex (in this case would she be hanging out with us at the bachelor party, or does she go with the bride and co so she'll be with other girls?) |
Question: Would like to know if I can get out of a contract? Posted: 17 Mar 2016 09:27 AM PDT Hello I need help I was planning my wedding and put a deposit down for a hotel for the reception the original date was June 11 2016 I learned that I was pregnant and due in July so we decided to change the date to august 27, however, my pregnancy has been complicated and forced me to be off work so we can no longer afford a wedding when I called to cancel I learned that my deposit was non refundable I signed the initial contract for the first date but never signed the new one. My question is can they still keep my deposit |
Question: Bridal shower when the wedding is delayed? Posted: 17 Mar 2016 05:11 AM PDT I just mailed off invitations to a bridal shower for my niece who was supposed to get married next month. Well, she and her fiance have decided to delay the wedding indefinitely while they "work on their relationship." THe bride has not mentioned the shower at all. I feel uncomfortable going through with it knowing that they may or may not get married, but I m not sure if it s a faux pas to cancel since they say they will someday get married. What do I do? I did plan the shower with her say-so. I did not send her an invite her to her own shower. I actually don't know where I said either of those things. This was planned a month ago, when she told me she and her fiance were going to have a courthouse wedding on a specific date in April. I asked her if she would like a bridal shower, and she said yes, and had since helped me plan the details. |
