Question: One of my closest friends has been acting kinda distant. Can anyone explain? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 05:05 PM PDT So this guy is one of my closest friends. When we started hanging out it felt like I'd known him all my life and we hung out and texted all the time and I had a huge crush on him, which he knew about because he's good at reading people, and I made it pretty obvious. He hasn't texted me in days, nor has he asked to hang out the past two weeks and I'm starting to worry that I screwed something up or that he's getting bored of me because he has lots of friends but I'm terrible at friendship and only have two friends that I trust. I'm kinda scared because even though I definitely wasn't his best friend, he was mine. |
Question: A friend who assumes too much? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 04:59 PM PDT I have a friend who tends to assume a lot of things. Like when she asks me about something, she d say "Don t worry, I m not mad." She just assumes that I m afraid of her being mad, without me confirming that I am. She also says things like, "I think you are..." without me ever telling her that that is true. Is it okay to get annoyed at this? |
Question: How to get over shyness? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 04:58 PM PDT I'm 16. I was always a shy girl & was bullied a lot for most of my childhood for being nerdy & ugly, but I'm quite pretty now having lost weight & gotten braces. My best friends would always leave me for more popular girls who bullied me in the past. I haven't had a good friend in 3 yrs who I could hang out with. At school I just have acquaintances. I only get invited to big parties. I'm really lonely tbh. My mom says I have low self esteem. I feel like everyone secretly hates me. I always assume people are laughing at me behind my back & I only annoy them with my presence. Part of me wonders why anyone would want to be my friend as I'm boring & I'm too scared to try. It really gets to me that I have no friends & I think my self esteem is the problem. |
Question: Friend who is depressed? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 04:54 PM PDT I have a friend who is depressed and suicidal. I am not the best at being supportive and I'm horrible at advice. What should I say/do to make her comfortable and happy? I haven't seen her smile in such a long time, but I love her to death and don't want anything bad to happen to her. Sometimes when she doesn't answer my texts for a while, I think the worst. I am just nervous for her and I want to help in any way I can. Thanks. |
Question: Do you think friends should spend Easter together if they're flirty friends? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 04:47 PM PDT My best friend and I are spending Easter together and we haven't done a holiday together in a long time. We usually do 4th of July, but lately he's been working out of state. This will be the first holiday we spend together, but we've been flirting with one another constantly lately. What I mean by flirting is like we are always touching one another, kissing on one another, saying flirty things to one another or through text message, when we are apart from one another. He's helping make turkey, stuffing and my favorite of his dishes Fruit Fluff Salad and Cranberry Salad. I love when he makes dinner when its just the two of us alone. He's an amazing cook and always asking me to assist him in the kitchen. He gets a lot of hugs and back rubs when he asks for them. He always has me taste test his cooking, which is always good, unless its a pasta dish, then that's a different story. But should friends be spending Easter together if they're flirty friends? Could this lead to something else like a serious relationship? He asked me what time he should be over and I said 1:30-2pm and to bring all his stuff to make at my house. |
Question: I've got no friends in school.? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 04:42 PM PDT So I have kind of just started on this new school I have been on this school for about 4-5 months and I haven't made friends with anyone lately, my old friends has also went to this school but it feels like we have kind of seperated and aren't really friends. My computer is really bad also and I play games a lot with my friends and it has been really bad for playing games and talking with at the same times so I've kind of just quit talking with them and just playing alone. I got really sever social anxiety so it's really hard for me to even try and speak to someone new. If anyone know something that will help please comment. |
Question: Is hypocrisy and rudeness common with aspergers? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 04:29 PM PDT There is a buddy of mine with aspergers. I'm honestly his only friend because he doesn't really get along with anyone else. He's really socially awkward and clumsy but It's not really his fault because he really can't control it so I try not to judge him. But the thing is he can seem very rude sometimes and will say/do things that he would get offended if you did it to him. Like one time he made a joke about some dudes girlfriend being fat and the dude said a joke back and my friend got all offended and started screaming really ****** up things at the dude. I asked him what his problem was and he said "I was raised to never take **** from anyone" even though he's the one that started it. I actually had to stop inviting him to social events because when he is around other people he really irritates everyone by making real rude remarks but acts like he's just being picked or bullied on when people get sick of his ****. |
Question: Don't you think my friend overreacted? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 04:15 PM PDT I can't believe she cut me off just for asking a stupid question. So I'm a guy, we're just friends (she's engaged). We've been talking for awhile (online only, we met online she lives several states away) and she cut me off before, which was for telling her ex to leave her alone, she said she was scared that I'd make him angry and he'd go after her and her daughter since he lives much closer to her. This time, I just asked her a simple, stupid question, which was, Have you ever tasted your own breast milk She responded, That is a very inappropriate thing to ask. I don't wish to be friends any longer Then she blocked me I told another female friend of mine (we've been friends for much longer) and she said Lol. And said she wants to try her own breast milk when she has her baby. |
Question: I always feel like I'm the unknown friend? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 04:10 PM PDT I always feel like I'm the one who no one cares about. Since my best friend and i share similiar feautres, SOME teachers get us confused, but almost all teachers either call me by her name by an accident or they don't remember my name at all. Even with my group of friends, we'll all hang out but they would always ask for my friend's opinion on where to go. We recently made a new friend too, and hes friends with my best guy friend. He texted my best guy friend and was like "hey, im bored, can we hang with ____ today?" And im completely left out. When i'm not with her, some people will be like "oh, where's _____?" I mean i dont understand, im friendly and outgoing and get along with everyone. Im not as pretty as my friend though, and that lowers my self esteem. Is that why people like her more? I feel so sad sometimes because of this. |
Question: Friend wet the bed? should I tell her? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 04:10 PM PDT this isn't the first time me and my mom found urine on my friends blanket. last night I had a sleep over with 2 of my closest friends. I don't know if this had to do with anything but we were watching a scary movie before we went to bed and she was drinking water before bed. but we woke up and the was a huge wet spot I try to play it it off like someone split something but me and my other friend knew it was pretty obvious. should I try her? does she have A serious problem? if this happen before wouldn't she were a sleeping diaper? ( and yes I made my other friend swore not to tell anyone) |
Posted: 25 Mar 2016 04:09 PM PDT My mom has given me the option to stay and that she will live with me so that I could finish school with my friends but I feel bad splitting my parents for that long. A whole other issue is that most of the friends I have now are involved with weed which is still illegal in the state I live in and it would be best for me to leave them |
Question: Did I do the right thing? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 04:02 PM PDT Okay so my friend is 15, and really weird. He told me he was suicidal, and got sad when his friend deleted and blocked him on messenger. Well.....this guy is weird. He is serious all of the time, creepy, unfunny, and thinks he knows everything. A positive characteristic is that he's smart. He ended up being friends with me by stalking my other friend's list and msging me. (I'm guessing this dude is kind of lonely..? he writes long poems and talks about how he's always busy with work and watching anime) Long story short, over the course of our friendship, he started to get REALLY perverted. He liked me but never admitted it, but got mad when I didn't feel the same. This dude would talk about banging me, almost EVERY SINGLE DAY. He kept saying I "teased" him. It kept getting worse. The thing that made me distance myself is him asking for nudes....4 times. (I obviously said no) He called me rude names when I declined. So I just started ignoring his messages since January. I feel really bad because I think he has depression. D: But at the same time I don't want to be friends with someone who makes me feel uncomfortable. Did I do the right thing..? |
Question: Should I Friend Request Her On Facebook? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 03:50 PM PDT So, there is this girl at my school that I would like to be friends with but I'm super shy and awkward and have a hard time starting conversation with her. Do you think it would be okay to friend request her on Facebook so that I could message her over spring break? Last year, before I knew her, I sent her a request but she ignored it because she didn't know me. Oh I forgot, I've talked to her a few times just not a lot. She started the conversations. |
Question: What do you do if your best friend unfollows you on Instagram? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 03:08 PM PDT We just had a huge fight and we're kind of getting over this hurdle... Slowly we're getting better. But I saw that he unfollowed me on Instagram... Isn't that kind of like saying "I don't want to see you as much anymore." Then again, neither of us post very often... I don't know anymore... Someone please help me understand him. |
Posted: 25 Mar 2016 03:06 PM PDT This guy I like, who kinda likes me, seems to be acting a bit strange now. I was told by the guy who hooked us up that he was single, but a few other co workers told me he has a gf and that she even drops him off at work. Another co worker was flirting with me, so I told him, and he said for me to tell him that I'm his. he knows some co workers know we're talking, but now my manager knows, and I was wondering if it's weird to him that people are knowing now, and I only tell a them a little bit of our business. |
Question: What should I do when two of my friends are "fighting"? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 03:02 PM PDT So I'm going to call them Monica and Joe. I met them both at around the same time - three years ago - but I would consider myself closer to Monica, whereas Monica would consider herself closer to Joe. She graduated the same semester we had gotten close, and Joe graduated one year after. Joe is in Dental school right now. Well ever since Monica had graduated, she has been going through a lot of rough patches. She got declined from every med school she applied to, had to retake her MCATs and got declined from every one of them again, her dad is not around, her house is in foreclosure (did I spell that right?), and now there's a possibility that her mom might have breast cancer. She told me the last piece of news last week. Then she sends me a text asking if I have heard from Joe because he hasn't responded back in a week since she told him the news. So I texted him, and he replied back literally one minute after. I told Monica that he's okay, and she kept telling me that she has been calling him, messaging him, etc, but he hasn't replied back. I said maybe he's really busy with Dental school, but she told me that they would talk everyday and that she's upset. I don't know what to do in this situation. She keeps messaging me, going off on him and how he's not responding, and apparently nothing bad had happened between them. P.S. - no they're not dating at all. |
Question: I m the stupidest person I know!? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 03:01 PM PDT No, seriously I m an idiot. all of my friends are going places with their best friends and i m not (I don t have one). the problem is I don t even know how to get around the city by myself...... |
Question: Should I leave my husband? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 02:20 PM PDT I found out 6 months ago that my husband cheated on me with 11 different women during our 10 year marriage. He was always distant and I suspected things but never had any proof. When I would question him about something that didn't seem right, he would tell me that I was crazy. When ever I would try and talk to him about us, when ever I felt something wasn't right, he would tell me that he loved me and everything was ok. However, before finding out it got to a point where I couldn't stand him anymore. He flirted with girls and was very sexual with them. He would only tocuh my breast or viginia. He would look at porn for 4 or more hours ever night and masterbate until he had scabes. I never felt loved by him. I sat him down told him how I felt and he decided to work on us. This was 8 months ago. Things got better. I still felt suspicious and was eventually able to find on his navagation history that he took a trip to Dallas to meet up with a girl he met playing a video game. He admitted to me. I was going to leave him, but he admitted to everything and cried and said he was sorry. (6 mo ago) Well, he admited to most everything and then told me more a month later. Since then he has cut back on porn. Started going to bed with me at night. He stopped this 1 month after we were married and then never went to sleep with me again. He's helped with the kids more and helped with the house work. I have always worked full time expect for one year that I took I have always worked full time expect for one year that I took off after my youngest was born. I have 3 under 6. He admitted to never using condoms when he cheated and some of the women are know skanks some where random strangers at strip clubs and a lot of it was while I was pregnant. He's been a better husband than he ever has (over the last 6 mo) but I don't know if I can let go of all the anger and resentment I feel. |

Question: I'm scared to eat at other people's houses? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 02:09 PM PDT I'm 20 years old and ever since I was little I would always get uptight about eating at other peoples houses. Up until the age of 14 or 15, I would avoid going to sleepovers because I was scared of mealtime. After that I started going to sleepovers but I would always eat dinner before arriving to their house and then I would leave early in the morning before breakfast. I had car troubles last weekend and had to stay at my friends house for the weekend. I was so uptight about mealtime that I told my friend's family that I didn't feel well and ended up not eating at all for 2 days until I left their house. The parents prepared a really nice breakfast for me and then made a comment like "you know our food isn't poisonous, right?" and it made me feel bad because I wasn't trying to be rude while I was there. Because of my anxiety I have to eat small portions at a time, and I don't like eating in front of a group of people or sitting at a table. I'm always nervous of what if I don't like the food they serve, what if I get sick or get a panic attack during mealtime or what if they give me too much and I get full before I'm done eating. I don't want to seem wasteful or ungrateful. I want to know how I can overcome this fear, or what I can do in this situation? |
Question: I accidentally shaved my head with a number one guard what should I do? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 02:08 PM PDT I got a number 3 buzzcut today and when I got home I saw a few stray hairs so I took my electric shaver and put what I thought was the number 3 guard on and shaved over the hairs, it turned out to be a number 1, i did the rest to a number one to make it even. I've never had it this short, you can see my scalp really clearly, what should I do, how long till it grows back |
Question: How do I make my friend listen? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 02:05 PM PDT I have this friend, and we care a whole lot bout each other! She tells me I should eat certain foods because she cares about me, and so I listen because I don t want her to worry about my health. I say I cared enough to listen to her so I ate good foods. But when I ask her, she says it s her choice and she doesn t have to listen. But if she really cared, wouldn t she not want me to worry as well? And wouldn t she listen? How do I get her to do the same thing she asked of me? |

Question: Is it the right thing to do for me to stay out of this? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 01:18 PM PDT I have a good friend Wanda who is a single mom who has a 15 year old daughter Jo. She told me Jo was failing math in school and needed a tutor and that she could not afford a tutor. She asked if I would tutor Jo and she would pay me when she got some money. I told her I would tutor Jo for free and I did. The tutoring must have helped because Jo's grade went from an F to a B+. Wanda and Jo were both happy with the results of the tutoring and wanted to take me to dinner to just to say thanks. At the dinner Wanda excused herself to take a cell phone call. When her mom was gone Jo asked me it I thought she was old enough to be allowed to date. I told her that was between her and her mom and I did not have an opinion on that. She then asked me what age I started dating and I told her 15 or 16 years old. Jo asked if I would talk to her mom about her dating. She said her mom greatly respected my opinion and she would listen to me. I don't think I should get into this discussion with Wanda about Jo dating do you? Moms and teen age girls, please let me know what the right thing to do in this situation is. |
Question: He cheated on me then did this? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 01:15 PM PDT a guy told me i'm his girlfriend and made it official. then suddenly he said he's seeing someone (referring to me) and he thought maybe i was another girl who's after him. and suddenly he said i dont want to talk to you. i thought he was saying it to me but actually he thought i was that girl. later on after a while i messaged him but he didnt reply i kept doing it and then he blocked me. then he added me and maybe he thought i was her and said you keep messaging me i already told you i have a girlfriend already. he was referring to me. and later i said ok. then he blocked me when i viewed his snapchat story. Please help why did he block me later on? Thanks. Will he ever talk to me now? I know now that someone is after him. Thanks |
Question: Why does my friend keep saying this? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 01:05 PM PDT I like to wear yoga pants and she's always like I dont understand why people wear yoga pants and starts complaining about it when I'm wearing them. She says things like everyone can see your butt in them (which I disagree with). The comments arent directed at me either. I'm not sure if she only does this to me but its getting pretty annoying. |
Question: Is this sexual harassment? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 01:01 PM PDT My boss at work who is a very good friend called me in his private office one day and asked me if I wanted to be considered for a new position in the company. Jokingly I said "I like to try new positions". With a big smile on his face, he said "If my boss knew what I was thinking now, I would be fired on the spot". I told him "If something comes up, let me know". We both had a good laugh. In the employee break room I told some of my female co workers about this and they told me that was sexual harassment. What do you think? Was that sexual harassment? If it was, who was harassing who? He did not say anything about sex. |
Question: Friend and I only have arguments on social media? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 12:33 PM PDT Usually we get along really well, we are best friends etc. But on things like whatsapp and Instagram DM we always end up arguing...she often accuses me of being hypocritical and passive aggressive, saying I get angry too easily. She also says I have 'butthurt'. Sometimes I wonder if she's deliberately antagonising me?? I actually don't know if it's just me or what... It's also really odd because face to face we are really good friends and never argue. How to help this? |
Question: Are my undies ruined now? Question: How strange is it to try to reach out to someone on social media you knew a long time ago? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 12:13 PM PDT While in a moment of looking back, I wanted to see if this person I knew(I consider was my very first friend) was still around at least on social media. I haven't seen or heard of this person in ages(when our family moved that was about the last time we were together) I'm not looking to recapture the same friendship we had back then, but just want to reach out, say hi and share how our lives have been. I feel so much time has passed though(well over 20 years(we were just kids under the age of 10 by then), I have too good of a memory sometimes..) and I did at one time try to reach out but didn't get a response. I took it that she didn't remember me at all and didn't want to answer someone she couldn't remember. I don't know if she really got the message or if she intended to respond at another time if she was busy(it says it was read but this was a while ago) Would it be best to try one more message or a request to see if she'll accept and maybe message back, or should I just accept that hey the past should stay where it is. I did try to reach out to other friends I knew as a kid as well and either didn't get a reply or it's sitting in their spam folder. I am aware that not everyone's memories are the same and friends from childhood could be easily forgotten and I don't expect to get a response back, but should I give it at least one more try or do you feel it would be best to just keep going our separate ways? |

Question: What do you do when you don't have family or friends in your life? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 11:53 AM PDT I have a big family but I always lived far from them I never visit because of the distance so I don't see them, I have no friends because I'm shy and I would say antisocial. I guess that makes sense. |
Question: Need advice, should I try to make friends or woukd it be better for me to be alone? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 11:44 AM PDT I've always been very quiet and shy in school, and would only have one or two friends at a time because I'm so shy. But whenever I do make a friend, I wind up finding out that they have made fun of me or just said negative things about me behind my back. I'm a Senior in high school now and I give up on making friends. I like people, I think people can be really kind and funny sometimes, but they can be creul and mean too. I've come across too many people who will be nice to you and act like they're friends with you to your face, and then they kust laugh at you behind your back. I will always be nice to people, but I'll no longer try to make any friends. I'll say hello to people and maybe have small talk, but I'm not going to try to take it any further than that anymore. It's probably better for me to be alone. I like being alone sometimes, but other time I do get really down and depressed about it. I also find it annoying when "friends" make comments or remarks about how quiet/shy I am. I do wish I at least had a close family member or a boyfriend though. I've never had a boyfriend, never even been kissed. Sometimes I think about what it would be like to have a relationship, and I just cry. Sometimes when I'm alone, I pretend that people are with me and I'll have conversations with them out loud. Is there anyone else out there that feels like this? Any thoughts or advice? Thank you. |
Posted: 25 Mar 2016 11:43 AM PDT My daughter is bipolar and has was raped in a hospital this past holiday. Since then, she has had 2 suicide attempts, the last one almost took her life. I am an only child and my parents drove over to my house. This neighbor walks right in, wants to know what s going on and then proceeds to tell the whole neighborhood our business. I m getting tired of her polite, pseudo Christian attitude when all she is is a nosy old bird who wants gossip. What can I say that will nip it in the bud, but not make me nor my daughter look like jerks who don t want anyone for friends in this subdivision? There s gotta to be something witty I can say that will shut her down and stop the problem in its tracks. |
Posted: 25 Mar 2016 11:32 AM PDT My old college roommate invited me to FL (from MA) for a much needed vacation. She paid for my flight. She promised to take me many places. This is my 5th day here and the 3rd time she has left me alone for hours. We haven't seen each other for 48 years. I am grateful that she invited me, but I did not come here to sit in my bedroom doing nothing all day. What am I supposed to do? I am at her mercy. |
Question: I don't want to go to prom but I'm being pressured? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 11:12 AM PDT I think I'm too ugly to go to prom and I don't want to go and feel worse about myself because everyone else looks so good. My friends keep telling me to go but I don't know how to explain my problem. |
Question: Upset with friend but don't wanna make things awkward? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 10:43 AM PDT Well, I live in a college dorm with two other roommates. Today is one of my roommates birthdays, call her Stacy, and my other roommate, let's call her Gina and I agreed to decorate the dorm together. So, gina and I went to the store, bought decorations, and split the price. Gina agreed that after our roommate went to bed, we would decorate for Stacy's birthday. When Stacy finally went to bed, I went O get Gina & she was asleep. It was super late, so I decided to go to bed too. Lo and behold, I wake up today, check Gina's snapchat story, and see that Gina took it upon herself to do all the decorations AND show Stacy without me. I'm super upset that she did this, but I'm also a shy person who hates confrontation. What do I do? /: |

Question: WHAT SHOULD I DO? AM I GAY? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 10:29 AM PDT We were in Italy. My friend and I stayed in a separate room than my family. Our room was for 2. however it came with a double bed. My friend and I decided to not look at each other. We both sleep in our boxers. We are quite big for 14 year olds. It was 3 am , we were cold , so we cuddled each other fr warmth . Then he pulled my boxers off me , i did the same . He gave me a blowie and I did the same. We Were then naked when He layed on top of me and started kissing each other. He then stuck his dong in my behind. It felt so good. We used condoms... We then done this over the course of the week. In the shower was fun |
Question: Friend got pushed face first into thick mud? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 10:26 AM PDT I feel so bad. My guy friend is super nice, sweet, kind and has always got my back. He's honestly the best guy friend I could ask for. So we went on a senior trip to a farm and they had ice cream, grill outs, horse rides, bumper boats etc. it was really fun I was with my friends most of the time but I ran into my guy friend later and we just hung out for a little. Anyways there was a guy there who was jealous that my guy friend was friends with me. Me and my guy friend walked to the pig pen because he wanted to feed the pigs. Anyways as soon as my friend leaned over to feed a pig a guy snuck up behind him and pushed him really hard right into the pig pen. He stumbled over one of the pigs and splat face planted right into the thick mud. The pig squealed and I gasped in shock and yelled my friends name! Then before I knew it the guy grabbed a bucket of the pig slop and once my friend lifted his face out of the mud and began to get up the other guy dumped the bucket of slop all over my friend's head and ran away. I actually stepped into the mud to help my friend up. I could see he had tears in his eyes and was the messiest I had ever seen anyone. He was covered in mud and slop all over his clothes, face and beard. I really felt horrible and helped him out of the mud. One of his favorite teachers saw him and me and asked what happened? I explained and he got a ride home. Anyways I really feel terrible he was treated like this any ideas how to cheer him up. He is super embarassed |
Question: Is it right for a teacher to do this? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 10:24 AM PDT We had to type an essay for class and I was absent one day and the dumb teacher puts me on blast and shows my essay to all of her classes (she put it on the projector to show on the screen) and she was telling them "this is not how your essay should look" "I will not say who this student is but this is typed wrong and the sources weren't used" but my name was clearly on the paper for everyone to see. Then she started comparing my essay to someone else's and started saying this is a perfect essay and this is what I expect. Everyone was telling me this and when I asked the teacher why she did that her excuse was "you were absent" why couldn't she just have showed it to me 1 on 1 and tell me what I did wrong instead of showing all her classes like a dumb b*tch? I really don't want to go back to her class anymore I feel like that was f*cked up especially since she was comparing mine to another students essay. Most of the people in the class do bad work and she's over here complaining about my essay |

Question: Why do I get sick of all my friends? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 10:21 AM PDT Over time I find it harder to just hangout with friends. I just get bored and would rather do other things. People always ask me to do things and I usually end up lying to get out of it. I don't hate any of my friends but I just rather spend my free time being productive. I work during the week and only have limited free time I feel like I only see people because it's "normal" to have a social life but I never really want to spend weekends with friends |
Question: I feel betrayed, which is unusual for me.? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 10:15 AM PDT Me and my friends usually see comic book and action movies together, and I've been waiting for almost a year for the release of Batman v Superman. Just today I found out that my friends have already seen the movie at an early screening the day before without me, and I am not sure if they forgot to ask me or didn't want me to come. They wouldn't forget to ask me because I've been friends with them for years, but then again we actually didn't talk to each other in some time, mainly because we have different classes. As of now, I am not sure who they've seen the movie with exactly, but I did ask one of my friends on Tuesday of that week if he's been asked to go see the movie with "the group" but he said "no". Even if he was telling the truth, I still feel mad and betrayed that I wasn't invited with the others to see the movie I've been waiting to see. Hopefully I might be able to see Captain America Civil War with them, which comes out the day after my birthday. However, I am still dealing with this situation now and I need help from others. Should I talk to my friends about this or is it better to keep it a secret from them? (I'm not exactly the best at arguments or confrontations) Is there anything I can do to try and prevent this from happening again? (I know that sounds kind of selfish on my account, but I just don't like not being up to speed on something without being informed). I hope that someone can help me on this, and I know I'm not alone. |

Question: He asked me to call him but should I? *10 points for best answer*? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 10:13 AM PDT I'm 29 and I had sex with a 42 year old almost year ago. He and I live in different states (but we are not in a long distance relationship). I wanted to see him again while I was in his state two weeks ago. I sent him a text letting him know I was in town and he asked me for the address. I told him I would contact him once I got to the hotel. When I got to the hotel I asked him to come see me. He told me he was out of town but that he would be back the next day. I believe he said that because he had to work. Yet earlier that day he and I saw each other at the park. It wasn't planned we just so happened to be at the park at the same time. We walked right past each other and didn't speak then when he got far away he stopped and turned around he knew it was me. I was upset because he said he wouldn't meet me and he started calling me nonstop but I ignored his calls. Then I got drunk and wen off on him in text messages he called me again but I didn't answer. I think maybe he would have came to see me if I hadn't of acted the way I did. I would like to go back and see him this summer I don't feel that he "used" me for sex because I was the one who initiated sex with him. In fact for awhile he said that he didn't want to have sex with me. Also I enjoyed being intimate with him so I don't feel used. |
Question: Is it possible to love two people equally? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 09:59 AM PDT My best friend says she loves me and her new best friend the same, even though I've been with her for 6 years and the new one has only been friends with her for 2 years. She always reassured me I was always number 1 until this year where me and the new one are suddenly "equal" |

Question: I'm losing interest. He's taking too long to make a move? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 09:12 AM PDT This guy and I started talking back in December. He used to try talking to me every single day and I was always very short/ending the convos quickly, but he never gave up. I'm used to getting hurt so my walls are pretty high, but I finally decided to give it a shot. We started texting all day every day and then eventually facetimed. It was from that day on that I knew I really liked him and could see myself with him. We were on facetime for 6 hours straight with no awkward silences. We connected really well. We used to tell eachother all the time how much we liked one another and how happy we made eachother. He used to send the cutest texts. Till this day, we are still talking, but it's much different than it was. I don't get cute good mornings every day, we don't talk all day everyday, etc. He still compliments me, calls me things like "boo" and "babe" occasionally but I still miss the way things were like 2 months ago. He's been saying "let's hangout soon" for months, yet it hasn't happened because he's never free. My college is only a half hour away and he's been saying he's going to visit, but hasn't. I'm starting to lose more and more interest by the day and I'm not really sure what to do. Do I say something? He's very sensitive and gets jealous when he knows other guys hit on me and he brings up when I wouldn't give him a chance when he first tried talking to me. But now I'm right here, wanting to be his, and he's doing nothing about it. Alion - I GIVE UP on trying to make plans with him since he's never free whenever I ask. I'm not sure what more I can do.. |
Question: How would you feel if you child didn t want you at their wedding? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 09:09 AM PDT My best friend was telling me how she doesn t want her parents at her wedding because of various reasons I don t understand. She said she doesn t want to have to walk down the aisle with her Dad, and that not inviting them would be payback for disrespecting her. Is that okay? How would you feel if their child did that? I get this sense that she d doing this as revenge for them never being supportive of her, despite them being tolerable (as she had said). If I was her parents, I would be heartbroken. How about you? Is this right of her to do or should I talk some sense into her? |
Question: What's wrong with my friend? Please help? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 08:54 AM PDT My friend "S" and I are best friends. I met her 2 years ago and love her so much. We are so similar and agree on a lot of things,we say the same things at the same time and basically it feels like we share a brain despite our friendly debates over like which fast food restraint has the best fries or something stupid. Anyways,Lately she's been acting weird. She's been mean to me and laughing about with our other friends. She jokes about how some of our close friends from our group are her bestfriends just to see my reaction. I don't understand she's always been an amazing friend and I know she's kidding but it doesn't feel that way anymore. She even asked herself why she was being so mean to me. We were all sitting at a table and they were making "playful" fun of me and she said "ya know,I don't know why I've been so mean to you lately". I tried shrugging it off but it all the sudden seems like she's not talking to me,she's been saying I'm annoying and she has inside jokes with our other friends and only smiles when she sees them now. I don't understand and I just want my bestfriend back. Please help me. I don't really want to address it to her. I feel extremely annoying to her. |
Question: Little sister is a compulsive liar? Posted: 25 Mar 2016 08:44 AM PDT She lies about everything - it's a natural reflex. (Mind you, she is only eight years old.) Not only this, this is often accompanied by her stealing. She's become so manipulative and skilled at it as well. I'm unsure on what to do, and this results in me distancing myself away from her...She'll lie about stealing money/items from me/others, cussing, etc. And since she is experienced with lieing, she often gets away with it. And worse of all, I find myself believing her lies occasionally. And not only this; she often lies to her teacher, so it is quite embarrassing when we have conferences with her. I'm out of options on what to do. |
Question: Are some people just that unlovable?
