Question: I m about to get a divorce. I want to change my name? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 08:56 PM PST I never changed my name from my maiden, but for years I ve wanted to change my whole name. It s actually one of the reasons I m getting divorced. I know many women include in the paperwork to go back to their maiden name. Can I use this opportunity to change my name entirely? If it s possible, it seems less complicated than going through the divorce and then trying to change my name otherwise. |
Question: Ex husband accusing me of not feeding my children.? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 08:53 PM PST I'm just wondering how other mothers out there would feel about their ex husband accusing them of starving and not feeding their children. I have two kids, a 5 and 6 year old. I love my kids more than anything in the world. and obviously I feed them meals. My ex and I share 50/50 custody, and when the kids went back to his house, I got a phone call from him, accusing me of not feeding the kids all weekend. i was hurt and defensive, and naturally got a bit angry. Of course i always feed my children. and when i got hurt and angry he told me that i must be lying because otherwise i wouldn't get so defensive. Any mother would be upset i think if their ex insulted them and accused them of starving their children. How would you feel and react if your children's father accused you of this, knowing it is the farthest thing from the truth.? and his main reason for feeling this way was, that my daughter refused to eat the supper that he made for her, and she told him her stomach hurt, and that must mean i have not been feeding her. how do i keep dealing with an ex that treats me this way, its hurtful and frustrating. |
Question: Where may we, my wife and myself, find a woman willing to join us, as a co-wife? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 08:50 PM PST |
Question: Any shot he likes me? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 08:21 PM PST So my ex and I have been pretty on/off over the years. We've never hated one another, but have had long periods of no contact. We've been hanging out and talking the last 6 months. I told him a week ago that I still had feelings for him, but requested he didn't say anything back because I have a lot going on right now that I need to focus on. In the past week he has asked me to hang out and he has initiated texts. We just hung out today and had a great time. We had a few moments of awkward silence, but got through it. He hasn't mentioned anything about liking me or not liking me. Do I still have a shot at dating him or do you think he is just trying to be polite? I know I said for him to not say anything, but if he liked me wouldn't he want to tell me? |

Posted: 02 Mar 2016 07:11 PM PST I would be okay with hyphenating my middle name with my maiden name, but is that legal? I want one last name. No hyphen. Can I hyphenate my birth middle and maiden and add on my husbands name? Can I squish my birth middle and maiden to make it one word? What are my options? |
Posted: 02 Mar 2016 07:08 PM PST My passport is good until 2018... In the time since I was issued my passport, I have been married (and changed my name) and more recently, divorced. I plan to change my name back to my maiden name in the next few weeks (to the name listed on my passport). Assuming I revert to my [maiden] name shown on my passport (which I have not used in) will I still need to reissue my passport for use in the near future (later in 2016)? Question: Give me advice, please!? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 04:55 PM PST Over the last 11 years, my husband has gone through upwards of 30 jobs, and that figure is being very conservative. He either quota or gets fired from them all. I am at my wits end. He'll make enough money to pay the rent or make a payment on a car note that's past due, and then before you know it, he's searching for another job. I can't afford to leave, not because I don't work, but because he has destroyed my credit over the last 11 years. I'm working on rebuilding it now, but I've got another year or so to go before I can make a move. Besides that, honestly, I'm scared to be without him, I've been with him so long. I need help! What can I do? |
Question: My husband, an atheist, is seeking spiritual things, has started doing meditation? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 04:52 PM PST Anyone here practice meditation? What benefits have you found, if any? I don't know what I'm asking, really, this is just totally new to me and I don't know what to think about it, ha ha! @crazy - no, not found God yet, but there's always hope. No, I personally don't believe in that kind of meditation. I practice a different kind of meditation that involves deep thinking on complex spiritual subjects, instead of clearing the mind, or focusing on relaxation, etc. |
Question: Best anniversary presents to get for your husband? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 04:23 PM PST Ok so what are the best presents to get your husband for an anniversary present? Question: Is getting a ring for my husband outside of a wedding band weird? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 04:03 PM PST Ok so my husband and I are coming up on our second wedding anniversary and I want to get him something heart felt. I recently came across this really nice design on Things Remembered and I think I want to get him a custom engraved ring. He s in the Navy, so on the front it says USN and a diamond in a very unique stacked pattern that I think looks very nice. On the inside, I want to also engrave a message to him. So now that you know a little back story, my question is it weird to buy a man another ring outside of a wedding band? And do guys generally think it s weird and not like the idea of wearing two rings? Thanks! |

Question: I have a trust fund but I can't tell my husband? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 03:30 PM PST I am 33 and have a trust fund. My grandparents owner a series of supermarkets on the east coast in their hay day when they passed around 8 years ago I inherited a little over 3 million. I have 3 kids and each kid I have is to be situated with a 300k trust fund from my grandparents will. I work as a nurse and make a living of around 80k and sell beauty products on the side pocketing me an extra 15k usually. My husband is in insurance and makes around 120k maybe more with a bonus that year. So we make a god amount on our own. However I purchased our home for around 1.05 million in my name only. We always have nice cars a Porsche suv and a Mercedes sedan. Buy nice clothes and go on nice vacations. My husband doesn't know that I have a trust fund. In fact he frequently complains about people who don't deserve the things they have like reality stars. So I feel that if I told him he'd be upset and judge me. He grew up very poor and nothing was handed to him I however was more middle class and only got into money when it was left to me when I was about 25. He's always asking how I afford our house and the cars and I always tell him that I've always been a good saver and good at investing. I would like to tell him but am afraid of being judge I need help. Do you guys think I should just leave this to myself or key him in on how we live the way we do. |
Question: FOR MARRIED MEN ONLY WIFE DONT WANT SEX CAUSE OF STRESS AT WORK? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 03:08 PM PST We are newlyweds and my wife is a Ph.D.. I knew what I was getting myself into before marriage and waited 6 long years to have sex with her. I would think that she would have the same desires as I but she does not. I'm a guy and have needs. I'm tired of pleasuring myself every time I get rejected by her. she just lays on the couch watches her Korean Drama) I will admit that she does have a big workload and lately she's been stressed out. I know it may be wrong of me to ask her for sex during this busy week but I really love her and want to make love with her. Please keep in mind that it's not that all I care about is sex, but I do care that she also has a desire for me. And since day 1 I've always had to ask her for sex and not vice verse. I would like to feel desired too you know. I show her emotional support, let her vent when she has a bad day at work, I took her out as a surprise for dinner , and the list goes on. I really hate how she says she has all this work to do when she lays on the couch and watches her phone. she delays on purpose... Like what happened the other night. She was complaining about something that happened at work on the way home in the car , and then at home, and then in the bedroom, while knowing that I wanted to have sex that night, to which she had already agreed . I think she hates my sex. I guess I suck then. So if I was a stud or something would she be different? I just want her to want sex more, and not treat a beautiful thing like crap |
Question: Joint custody to full? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 03:07 PM PST |
Posted: 02 Mar 2016 02:25 PM PST I mean seriously more and more jobs are just becoming cruddy part time jobs and both US dudes and ladies are for the mos part so shallow and bad and narcissistic that dating or marrying is stupid when you've gotta get more money and pay off your debts and penny pinch every time. Pets cost more and more and are getting unaffordable, even something like fish require big money and time commitment which we don't have now. And most pets are so badly bred that you'll just pay through the nose to keep them OK like going to the vet or even just constantly having to give them meds and clean their cage or tank And now it's basically impossible to raise kids and live OK unless you're from rich or upper middle class families. |

Posted: 02 Mar 2016 10:30 AM PST The other day we ordered some new toys and he nervously brought up the idea of getting a movie, and I said sure and looked through a bunch of them and asked him to pick a few. I know what I like but wanted to make sure it was something he would enjoy too. We've watched porn together in the past but after a couple weeks of using it he stoped bringing it up so I kind of feel guilty for using it often. I don't hide it but I haven't told him. We have a great sex life and he sometimes jokes that I'm using him too much but I'm just nervous he would be upset to learn that I already watch porn, much more frequently than him. Men, would it make you uncomfortable to find out your wife watches porn without you? |

Question: What is the right thing to do in this situation? Please help me decide? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 09:30 AM PST I got a call from my ex wife who I am still on friendly terms with that she had a problem and she needed my help. I was surprised to get her call as I had not talked to her in over a year. She said her current husband was going to be laid off from his job if he did not learn to use a computer system where he worked and that would be a financial disaster for them. They could not make the mortgage payments if he lost his job. They had priced computer training in their area and is was very expensive and they did not have the money for it. She knew I was knowledgeable about computers and she wanted me to train him on credit. I told her I would do it for free. I cautioned her she MUST check this out with her husband. She called back a week later and told me her husband would not take the training from me even if it was free because it would make him feel like less of a man. I told her to call me back if he changed his mind sometime in the future. Shortly thereafter she called me back and told me that since her husband had not met me he would not know what I looked like. She wants me to pretend to be someone else and train her husband and not tell him I am her ex husband. I am really torn on what I should do. I do not want to see her suffer from a layoff but I don't want to deceive her husband EVEN IF IT IS FOR HIS OWN GOOD. ADVICE PLEASE on what is the right thing to do. |

Question: Husband calls his best friend babe, and gets mad because I don't want him calling me that? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 07:53 AM PST My husbands best friend is a chick. A chick I HATE. They've been friends for almost a year now, we've been married for 4 years. Last night she called him because she'd gotten into a huge fight with her brother and needed a friend to cry to. We were hanging out in our living room when she called and he never left the room (giving you full disclosure). One thing that did bother me though, was how many times he called her BABE over the phone. (23 times in an hour) They talked for just over an hour, with the conversation shifting to her latest female relationship disaster after her brother (she says she's a lesbian, I think she's more bi). At the end of their talk, he said one more babe... But it wasn't alone. His last words were " love ya babe." After hanging up, my husband turned to me and said, "Hey babe, do you wanna grab DQ?" The word BABE aimed towards me felt like it lost all meaning. I turned and asked him to please not call me that. He got really upset. I tried explaining why, but he just doesn't understand. Am I justified in how I'm feeling? |

Question: If your a married woman would you do this for your husband if he asked? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 05:57 AM PST Lets say your husband came to you and said he never had any sex in high school or college or went to any parties and never lived the college/high school life of having sex every day and partying all night and just streight up have a blast all the time and just skipped all of that and went streight to the "married life". And lets say he said since he missed out on all of that hes always been depressed and there will always be a hole in his heart and he will never stop dwelling on it unless you do something for him. Lets say he asked you to have crazy wild high school/college style sex with him every night like a couple of 20 y olds for a few years. Lets say he asked you to have college like parties at your house at night where its just the 2 of you. Basically be his wife but at the same time be his wild crazy naughty college gf that he never had just to help him have his youth since he didnt have it then. Would you do this for your husband to make him happy and fulfill his biggist wish |

Posted: 02 Mar 2016 05:08 AM PST Should i wait or not? It really irritates me to think about it... But i am just afraid, because i know bad sexual life can even lead marriage to a divorce... i don't wait because i am religious. i wait because the boys in my country usually things that a girl who is not virgin is not a wife material. some of them thinks that you are a sl*t. so that's the only reason why i consider waiting till marriage... if they didnt judge us girls like this here, i wouldnt wait at all. |
Posted: 02 Mar 2016 05:00 AM PST He didn't say he wants to end the engagement over it or anything but he is concerned about their future together since they have only been together less than two years and he doesn't find her to be a turn on at all. I had no idea what to say to him except that sex is an important part of a marriage but not the most important part. What would you do if you had this information? I can't tell my wife, I can't tell her best friend...ugh! |
Question: Are we separated? How long can this last? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 03:48 AM PST My husband and I have been on rocky terms for 2 months. Long story short, he was stressed to a breaking point and I wasn't helping out enough around the house. He said he doesn't trust me to change my habits and over the last 2 months, he didn't accept my changes. He said he doesn't know what he wants and he needed time to think. We have been together for 10 years and it felt very sudden to me. He decided to leave and stay with some friends of ours. It's been 3 days and I'm wondering if I can expect him home soon. He only packed enough for about a week. I'm at the house with the dogs and we really miss him. People have told me that seperations may take time, up to weeks. I wasn't expecting him to stay more than a day or so. Is it possible that we can work things out? When I asked him if he wanted a divorce, he said he didn't know. He said he doesn't have time alone to figure things out or cool off. He just said he didn't want to argue with me. I'm afraid. And I want my husband back. Thoughts? Advice? |
Question: Isn't marriage just for raising kids? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 03:19 AM PST Why get married if there are no minor children - proposed or present - involved? |
Question: Custody of children? Posted: 02 Mar 2016 02:08 AM PST So the ex has full custody of the kids and lately they have been staying over longer, i spend so much money spoiling them because I love it and that's on top of paying my child support. My kids have come over without jackets while raining and without underware on. They have come over with shoes too small for their feet they would cry to me that their feet hurt so I would have to supply larger shoes. My question is, if I am seeing my kids more than the parenting plan states and having to support them on top of my monthly support, do I have my rights/support to file for joint custody? I gave her full custody to begin with because it was such a battle and all I wanted was my parenting time with my boys. But lately I have been hurting financially and she still refuses to even talk about custody. I guess she thinks if she loses full custody she won't get as much child support. Idk. I love my kids and want to see them more and be apart of their life all the time! They grow up too quick :( please help? |
