she talks ALL DAY LONG about food, literally... But we are in the same class, your friend is my friend too, why can't you just include everyone. And at lunch two people were talking and she claimed that "she felt left out." But the problem is that we ended up having classes together this year and that would be bad if I put myself at a distance because she would notice.

So, I ve been living with this girl for a few months now. She s not bad to live with or anything, but it is a really small apartment. So, she is charging me $50 extra a month in rent because she furnished the place (with the exception of my room, which are all of my own things). I don t cook or anything, so I rarely use her dishes with exception of drinking glasses. I also rarely if ever use her furniture or even watch her tv. I am 16 yrs old and a senior in hs. I am a straight A student. I work and support myself for everything but shelter. I am not allowed to hang out with friends. Or have boyfriends. When my friend drops me off at my house, I ask him to drop me off a couple houses down, so he will not be seen. When I get out of the car and close the door, My moms car lights come flashing on, she s been parked right there the whole time and she jotted down my friends license plate. She yells at him like a madwoman, he drives off quick. When I m home, she threatens to call the police on my friend. She says she will get him for "abducting me" since he is 18. She believes he is my boyfriend, which is completely untrue. She also says she will turn him in for rape..which is wrong in so many ways, no matter what I say to her.

I have a 12 year old brother in 7th grade (I'm a junior in high school.) Recently, he told me that a group of kids have been picking on him relentlessly because he is legally blind. They call him names, hide his stuff in places where he can't find them, hit him, and harass him on Facebook. The teachers have been pretty useless because they turn a blind eye to the bullying. Sometimes, the bullying goes on when the teacher is in the classroom, and the teacher appears (or pretends to appear?) not to notice. He begged me not to tell our parents because he thinks they'll make it worse. Our parents have always been super overprotective of him, and he doesn't want them making a scene at school because he thinks it'll make the bullying worse. It really breaks my heart to know he is going through this. I don't have a disability, so I don't think I can fully understand what he is going through. I was never severely bullied when I was his age, and I always had a comfortable group of friends. He has almost no friends in his school, and I think a big reason why is because of his disability. Advice?

I'm a sophomore in high school and I want my high school experience to be a really fun one! I see and hear about people who I think maybe I could get along with but I don't know how to reach out and become friends with them, I do cheerleading but no other sports and I don't have classes with anybody that I'm interested in getting to know, since I know most of them already. What's a good way I can get to know these people without seeming like a total weirdo? :)

Firstly, I'm kind of nice to everyone at first. I have on a smile whenever I talk and I'm kind of bright. And I'm sort of a teacher's pet. I laugh at teacher jokes. So I guess it's no wonder other students kind of recognize me more than other quiet students. (Community college btw). But then these people that are totally lost in class always come to me for help and it's getting annoying. Like, I'm totally down to studying together. Awesome! Making friends! but no. It's always the older people that seem to be coming into college late that is just ABSOLUTELY lost and just has no idea. They don't ask "Hey, how do you do this question?" They ask "Hey, I have no idea how to do this whole lab. Can you help me after school everyday? Can we study together?" Why not go to the teacher? Why not drop the class if you have no clue what's going on? I can get paid to do that if I work at the tutoring center. And the thing is, the people that bother me just won't take a hint. This guy last quarter talked to me so I smiled and was nice but he was a huge perv and a weirdo so I didn't want to talk to him ever again. At first, I smiled less. Then I just straight out ignored him. He'd STILL insist on talking to me. I'd just look at him and then look away and he'd follow me and tap on my shoulders calling out my name as if I didn't know he's there. My neighbor, who's old, knocked on my door a couple of times to ask me to get stuff our of his car. I said okay. I did. Then he'd go on talking to me about the most random stuff for like 20 minutes. Of course I tell him I need to go back. "I was in the middle of something so I think I'm gonna go back inside". He acknowledges me say oh okay sorry for keeping you for long, and then talks for 10 more minutes about NOTHING important. Just blabs. He once even said "I know you don't want to stay here and you're just here cuz you're a nice person". Now, I pretty much ignore him. Now he BANGS on my door 3 times a day. I'd just not stop walking as he opens the door every time I enter or leave my apartment. I'd just yell "hi" AS I walk to my car or slam and lock the door so he can't talk to me anymore. What creeped me out was he BANGS on the door like a maniac while my mom was home alone and constantly asked where I was while I was away on vacation. Am I too nice? Why am I attracting these people that just CAN NOT take a hint. Why do people come to me for help when they've never even talked to me? I'm just pretty much ranting at this point but seriously... get over one stressful person, another one comes along. Like why me?? Do I look too nice? Am I acting too nice? Should I have a scorn on my face all the time? Just stop all the smiling and joking around with the teachers? I really want to be nice but I feel like they're taking advantage of me. I'm not their tutor. I'm not his wife/daughter to take care of him. Do I need to tell people "NO" and "Please stop bothering me" straight up?

I been friends with two girls from school. They literally are my only friends because im new and dont know anyone . For a while i been feeling left out because they are always laughing at each others jokes and making plans with each other and they kind of forget to ask me if i want to go but finally they remember im with them and ask me. My best friend is so perfect. She has amazing artwork and I love it so much. I copy it a lot. Ok so I am a Freshman this year in High School. One of my best friends from last year hasn t really matured yet and is starting to really get on my nerves but I tried to ignore it and be a good friend to her because she doesn t really have any other friends because she claims shes not good at making new friends. I felt for her but then she told me that she started depression pills and the crying started. She was having issues with one of her only other friends from Middle School because he had been like me, noticing that was immature and had a bit of a strong personality that could be irritating at times, but he isn t very good at saying things in a nice way so of course she got upset. I tried to be sympathetic but after this became a weekly ritual (she comes into 1st Period crying, I feel bad and try to comfort her) I started getting irritated again because now I didn t just have to deal with her immaturity, I also had to deal with the constant emotional baggage plus all of the complaining going on. Under normal circumstances I would just go up to her and say "Hey I think I need a little bit of space for a while" but I am worried for her, too. I am worried about how that might affect her mental health. I feel torn between doing the selfless thing and staying her "best friend" and helping her through this but feeling miserable myself or doing the best thing for me and trying to separate from her as much as possible. so i live with my grandmother in her house with 2 other people in my family. Me and one of the members sleep on the couch every night. Theres 1 extra room but none of us wanted it, so we just keep our things in there. We're basically middle class, or lower middle class. We can afford things, but not everything. The house is small. My other brother, his girlfriend, and two kids might have to come and live with us, but i dont think they are. Anyway, my friend asked about my life today and i felt like crying. There is this dude (tommy) I've been chilling with since we were about 16 or 17. We are now 21 and I honestly can't take his bullshit anymore. I know he's really insecure because he used to get bullied all the time and he has told me he is insecure a few times when he was drunk but I can only take so much of it. He tends to do really arrogant and stupid **** constantly. I mean I used to feel bad but anymore I sometimes wanna hit him. For example one time we were at our friend Jim's house. Tommy was busting Jim's balls by saying that Jim only dates ugly girls. So Jim laughed and cracked a joke about tommy always messes around with fat chicks. And tommy flipped out and ran out of the house. And put a Facebook status about how everyone is mean to him. I mean The girls Jim hangs out with are actually pretty hot and tommy never even had a girlfriend. He lost his virginity to a fat girl at a party and then got all depressed when she wouldn't answer his calls. 2nd example. Tommy and I and a few buddy's were at the bar last weekend. What happens is someone buys the first pitcher, then the next person buys the next one and so on. Once it got to Tommy's turn he got all irritated and rolled his eyes when he payed for it. Then the next day he texted all of us saying we all owe him money for the pitcher he bought. Wtf? He had no problem slamming down most of the beer when someone else payed for it. I feel bad but I've been completely ignoring him lately and I'm honestly his only friend Also another time when we were at the bar we were bullshitting with this girl all night. The next day he we were talking about it and he said that I was really awkward around her and tried to lecture me on how I'm bad with women. I'm not a violent person but I honestly wanted to hit him so I left. The reason is because what actually happened was the opposite. I was the only one really talking to her. He was stuttering, not looking at her when he talked, and was all red and shaky.

My friend, let's call her Lollipop as an example name, copies almost everything I do. She copies my handwriting. She copies and takes credit for my artwork, and she copies my love of Pokemon. In 5th grade she copied my style of the way I draw my characters, so I had to change my style and let her keep the old one. :( Now, i know that she likes the way I draw, and I should be flattered that she would love my art so much that she would want to copy it, but I really don't like when people steal and take credit for the work I do. My friend has been acting very weird with me lately - She had invited me to a trip out with a big group of people. - the day before the trip out texted her asking if I could get a lift with her and another girl. She said of course and she said she would text me back when she had found out more - when I texted her back asking if she had found out the travel arrangements, she saw my message but never replied to it - I made my own way there and then when she saw me there she turned her head and gave me a dirty look. She eventually said 'I'm sorry, I shouldn't patronise you so much' whilst patting my back - later on she kept blaming me for things so if she got told off she would say 'it was Sophia's fault she asked me to do it' I just got very cold vibes from her the entire trip. Why is she so sarcastic and patronising to me?

We became friends in Kindergarten and we've had our ups and downs but lately he barely talks to me he doesnt act optimistic when Im around but Ive seen him with his new friends and he acts like he used to act with me. He never invites me over and when I try to invite him over he says hes busy. Our friendship was very strong now it isnt. Where both sophmores in high school too. We went to a private school until highschool so did he want to maybe ditch me all along? We both like the same things, games and eating... whats wrong with me... Okay so me and i friend i knew since 3rd grade started back talkin last year in November and we got in a disagreement in march that was the last time intalked to him recently he got sentence to 5 yrs in prison and i want to write him but im scarec that he will probably still be mad at me and wondering why is she writting me im so nervous even tho we were strictly friend he expressed to me that he liked me since we were kids way before he even went to jail and was sentenced but i really dont knw wat i should do i think everyone needs someone to talk to while they are in prison

I have a friend, we talk everyday almost through video games. We don't see each other in real life much because he moved last year. But the thing is lately I have always been getting mad at him for really no reason. I have told him multiple times to never talk to me again but he always calms me down after a bit and we're cool again. I also found out last week that he has been lying to me about tons of stuff over the past 2 years which just angers me more. I'm really starting to feel sad about how crappy I treat him. My snapchat friend recently hasn't viewed my story and I haven't seen that he has posted anything. I though maybe he deleted me but he is still on my friends list with a purple check comfirming we are friends. He is also still listed as a best friend when I am about to send a snap. The weird thing is I can't see his score next to his name. What's up with this?

We haven't had a proper conversation since the last 8 months. But now all of a sudden she's complimenting me and stuff and making short conversations with me (I always excuse myself) I know she is a shy person but I mean I told her we were done as friends. I would love to have her back as my friend but I'm not sure if it's possible because of her parents hating me (Well because they don't know the true story!) and second because she's friends with my haters (The people who made this happen in the first place) I would give her a chance considering she was a really great friend to me we were inseparable, but now things have taken a different twist. I'm not sure if I can trust her anymore because when I tried giving her chances before she just dumped them in the end and also when I accepted her friend request on social media she blocked me the next day I know I was to blame too but really what should I do?

For example, i dont have a lot of friends, nor i know how to make friends, i can only talk with strangers if they came to me, i never talk first, myself, i rarely speak about my family, or myself, i can start speaking about that in some very rare situations, i dont even speak with my mother for some things, nor i have single friend who i can open to and talk for that kind of stuffs. If somebody asks about my friends about my private life, they wont know or they would guess wrong, because everything looks incorrect about me, because i never speak about myself. Im like this almost 7 years, when something bad happend to my family and since than, i closed myself. So how do you call a person, that never speaks about himself, on my mother language, it is translated from the word (closed), how it is on english exactly?
