| Question: My friends got mad at me for asking for my money back? Posted: 03 Jul 2015 04:37 PM PDT So I pitched in $80 for a trip to CA with some friends 3 months prior. There are 12 of us, at least 4 couples and 4 singles. The couples put down $150 a person while the singles gave $80, this is for a house to rent. We all had a deadline to when to give the money and know if we could for sure go to the trip. So anyways, 3 weeks later my Dad's family announced that they would have a get together with all the relatives, coincidentally at the same week during the trip. Since my parents wanted me and my siblings to be there I couldn't say no. I tried working things out to see if I could spend time with friends at the trip and then meet with the family afterwards but before I could do anything they have already booked all of our flights without even knowing. Because of this I had to back out on the trip. I told my friends about it and asked if it was possible if I can have my money back. To my surprise 2 of them got very upset about it, telling me it wasn't fair for me to do that and that this was planned out months before even though I had no idea about the family get together. They were telling me that it's too late and that the money is gone and couldn't get it back, which I find rather stupid. Basically, I would be giving away that money for a trip that I'm not going. $80 may not sound much but I'm not the kind of guy that would just throw away money. Am I in the wrong for asking my money back? Is there a way for me to work this out? This really shouldn't be an issue... |

We were all going out one night and they got super wasted.I don't drink because I don't want to end up having a childhood cartoon character on my body again, but whenever they do drink a bit too much it becomes confessional hour instead of happy hour. One of them said that when we were 18 they made a pact that none of them are allowed to flirt with me or even fall in love and if it happens that person gets a beating and has to buy the rest drinks for 3 months. I kind of thought about and over the years I have seen them all bruised up and buying everyone drinks and saying it that it's on them. This year I got to meet her and I had a bad feeling but I treated her nicely. She soon then got mad at me after I was showing my other friend a music video of this band we like and jule started saying how much she hated the band and how she wished they were dead and she would kill them if she could. Me being tired of her mocking them yet still watching the video, I told her its ok not to like something but you dont have to act like a jerk about it. She got majorly pissed and started crying and sam made me go apologize but when I tried to she kept walking away so i said sorry a few times and she ignored me the rest of the year. That was the first sign that I knew I couldnt trust her. Few months later she gets mad at sam for something dumb and indirectly rants about her on twitter and bullies her over text. Sam then put her foot down and ended the friendship. I was relieved for this girl seemed insane. Then 2 months later, jule texrs sam saying shes "sorry and that she feels guilty and she thought god wouldve wanted her to apologize and she gets stressed and under pressure and she didnt mean to do all that" sam then is like ok i forgive you and jules is like can we be friends again and sam says yes I dont know how to be ok with this since she treated us so poorly and im pretty sure she has something inmind to try and get revenge |

But I can't help always feeling jealous of her. She's really really pretty, everyone says she's a 10/10. She has the perfect body, small waist and big butt, and she has thick black hair. She has big doe eyes. I have short blonde hair and an average body, but I can't wear a bikini. There isn't anything about me that sticks out. She's really smart. She's had a 4.0 GPA every quarter this school year. I've had 1 C and a D, and I've been struggling with geometry. We both tried out for the volleyball team, and she made it and I didn't. I was so disappointed, and volleyball was all she would ever talk about and I practiced so much. I liked a guy and he was walking us both to my house. He ended up liking her. I got over it quickly because its too early in life to worry about relationships, but inside I was so angry that she already gets everything and now she has him too. Everyone at school immediately warms up to her because she's hilarious and charming. She has so many friends to count while I practically get ignored every day. The only reason I get invited to any parties is because she's my best friend. So many hot guys that are older than us like her. Again, I get ignored. I've been diagnosed with depression and I have to take Lexapro. I am barely going into 9th grade and I already have to worry about depression. It's cool chilling with him once in a while the only thing is I can't get rid of him after. For example we will go to the bar or something and he will just sleep over my house which I'm cool with so he doesn't get a DUI but then the next morning he won't leave, he will want to hangout all day the next day and the next day and so on ECT.. Also if I don't answer his calls or texts he will call my house phone over and over again and I still live with my parents so they get pissed off. One time he called the house phone 49 times in about a half hour. Even if I tell him I'm busy he will still call me a million times anyway. What should I do about this? As soon as we got there, she got really weird and starting talking down about them to me (she said one dude seemed like a "real piece of ****"). Now, my friends are all good guys, with good jobs and professionals, so I didn't know where she was coming from. We left to get food and she immediately freaked out at me and wanted us to leave. Since then, she's getting increasingly annoyed that I haven't brought her around my friends. She says everything that happened that night was MY fault (there were too many people there, they reminded her of bullies from high school, etc.). Every time I hang out with a friend, even just stopping by a friends house for an hour to play video games, she gets mad that she wasn't invited. Now that it's the holiday weekend, my friends are having a party again and I know she's going to want to go. But, I don't want a repeat of what happened last time. What should I do? |

We've all known each other for five years. See, here's the thing. One of them isn't REALLY my friend, but more like an enemy, someone who strongly dislikes me. It's our youngest friend who hates me and I'm the oldest. She thinks I'm socially awkward. I used to be shy when we were younger but I'm completely over it now. She doesn't notice the change. She judges everything I do. She tells my other two friends that I'm a weirdo, that I make everything awkward, I don't brush my hair, (Which I do! It's just frizzy, I can't help it!) that I have no other friends, I'm dumb, immature, weird, and 'not like OTHER girls'. I find that offensive. When we were little, like 12 or 13 I was like the prankster of the group. I never took anything too seriously and sure maybe my pranks got a little annoying (oops) but it was nothing THAT bad. I made some bathroom jokes back then and fart jokes but I was young! I don't do that stuff anymore anyways, I feel like I've grown up a lot since then. Like I said, she doesn't notice the change. She thinks I still do that stuff. She thinks I'm not into fashion, makeup, or stuff like that, which I am into just as much as my other friends are. She basically treats me like I have some kind of mental issue. Her parents think that way of me too, I hear they always ask her if I talk when we're hanging out! My boyfriend isn't going to speak to me for a month for a reason that is totally reasonable and I feel like I may just kill myself for doing that to him. Let's just say to make long story short. He is in the hospital and is in very serious condition. So we mainly video chat. I got a new phone and the mic was at the bottom which is where i normally set my item so my arm doesn't get tired. So as a force of habit I set it down and it hurt is ears a whole lot. I feel terrible. He said if I do that again he won't speak to me for a month so i tried my best not to make the microphone touch anything. Then later on I started tucking myself in the blanket and the blanket hit the mic and he screamed in agony and hung up. | Question: My friend won't leave me alone? Posted: 03 Jul 2015 12:10 PM PDT I honestly can't take it because it's really annoying. We are both dudes btw I'm 21 and he's 22. It's cool chilling with him once in a while the only thing is I can't get rid of him after. For example we will go to the bar or something and he will just sleep over my house which I'm cool with so he doesn't get a DUI but then the next morning he won't leave, he will want to hangout all day the next day and the next day and so on ECT.. Also if I don't answer his calls or texts he will call my house phone over and over again and I still live with my parents so they get pissed off. One time he called the house phone 49 times in about a half hour. Even if I tell him I'm busy he will still call me a million times anyway. What should I do about this? He's not gay or anything either before everyone makes that assumption. |

My mom is single and she has three other daughters, who are all athlets, while I am not, so while my sisters are at practice me and my mom sometimes wrestle. She always wins. Due to my shortness and lightness, at 5'3" and 65lbs and my moms tallness and muscularity at 6'2" and 155lbs, she can easily win, her legs dare incredibly strong, along with her arms. But sometimes when she is staring down on me when I am on the ground and she is holding my hands above my head, it becomes a little awkward, but I set it aside. Is it weird or just fun? |

I avoid talking to him in every possible way and I can't figure out what's wrong exactly. We had no fight. He did nothing wrong. | Question: Why isnt my close friend talking to me? Posted: 03 Jul 2015 11:26 AM PDT So very recently she has stopped snapchatting me and thats where we make all the conversations. I havent seen her in a while probably twice in the past 2 weeks. She always initiates the conversations and now shes doing NOTHING. We didnt talk since Monday and I decided to send her a snap and she answered very blandly and then opened my message and never replied. She seems to be making plans with this other girl and talking to this guy. I was her bestfriend on snapchat now im 2nd. I didnt do anything to her and we never get into fights. I dont understand why she is suddenly not talking to me. I love her so much and its killing me day by day knowing that she isnt even trying to talk to me. I asked her last month if everything is ok between us and she said there is nothing wrong. What should I do? The only thing i can possibly think that I may have done wrong was when we hooked up when we were drunk. But she hasnt been ignoring me. She just doesnt talk to me as often. Why is this happening??? We're both 16 so for the summer we decided to start a summer camp for all the kids in her neighborhood. She's had a lot of experience babysitting but she's naturally really good with the kids. And we're both taking a ballet class just for fun this summer but she's amazing at it to! Granted, she used to dance for like 8 years but it's just hard always being second rate to her. There's other things too, such as music, art, and writing; all things that she does way better. And it's not like I want to be better than her at everything, it's just hard feeling like a dud next to her. And I know she's not better at "everything", she's just a very talented person so it feels that way. |

My friend in a way forgot about our friendship and had only eyes for her new bestie. Time passed, and I noticed that she'd cut herself. I figured she was depressed and suicidal. This was shocking news to me, cause we were close friends, even with her new friend. I confronted her, and she muttered something about her new bestie (like it wasn't a big deal but about her in some way..?) I stalked the friend a little bit and found a snapshot of a chat, where some of her friends talked about how many friends she has and how she doesn't have time for all of them. I figured she was depressed and suicidal too. Idk. My friend and her bestie broke up a little while ago, and she stopped cutting. I really love my friend and developed strong feelings for her, and I recently found out that she too was bi (maybe because of her friend?). She was never interrested in girls and neither me, though I loved her and tried to shyly hint things. Idk. So my question is: "Is it really possible that my friend loves/loved her internet bestie that she cut herself?" |

Posted: 03 Jul 2015 11:05 AM PDT This girl caused alot of issues for me, I don't really have a grudge against her but I'd rather not have her in my life because of the drama she caused. Anyway last year I liked a boy and he liked me back we had a "thing" that she destroyed by hitting on him and getting in between us so he got mad at me and stopped talking to me, we are friends now and that's all but he told me that she was coming onto him and that's why. Also she told people things about me such as I have no social life and that I'm a slut and have them igore me. I haven't seen or heard from this girl since I graduated in may 2014, because never cared to talk to me and that made me happy but recently I hung out with her younger sister who I stayed friends with and announced that I'm engaged and I think she told her. Now this girl friend requested me which I denied and I commented on a mutual friend of ours photo and she said in the comments "hey chloe I haven't heard from you in a while" I ignored it and let other people comment under me. I'm not an un forgiving ***** it's just that I'm trying to live my life without the memory of that drama and I feel it's best to move on. But what does she want from me now? Because I know if she really cared she would of contacted me a long time ago. |

My oldest sister is going with her guy friend and my dad should b driving them but he's apprehensive. Her friend can't drive bcause someone stole the other helmet off his motorcycle. My other sister is going with her friend who is not the kind of person I want to be around. She steals things and does drugs and my sister always forgives her. So you would think I could just bring my best friend but she is at summer camp. My next best choice is in Mexico and my other friend already has plans. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO! I can't just walk around alone! I've met a bunch of the ppl going but I'm extremely socially awkward. I usually hang out with sister but now she's too cool for that. My home environment is depressing. My parents also don t have any friends so it s not happy around the house. It s just very strict. I think this has affected me into making friendships now. Posted: 03 Jul 2015 10:30 AM PDT When I was 11 I met her and she seemed nice so we became friends about a year later we got really close and I started noticing her doing things similar to me, the same makeup, she started copying my style how I did my hair everything we started drifting apart and I found out that she still stalked all my social networks ( even though I didn't follow her ) and she'd write bitchy indirects about me last year ( when we were 15 ) a guy she liked turned out to like me and we started dating, the stalking got a whole lot worse and so did the bitchy tweets including "I wish you'd be set on fire" "just die" etc her friends joined in too at school it got so bad i left even now this year she has a boyfriend of her own I am no longer with that guy either but she is still continuing the copying and stalking : she's dyed her hair the same way as mine, does her makeup the same way I do, copied my favourite tv shows and games, if I tweet something, a little while later ( sometimes months sometimes days) she'll tweet exactly the same thing, edits her pictures like I do mine ( with sparkles in the photo and cute stamps ) tries to be friends with my friends and my ex boyfriend, makes fake accounts to try to get onto my private insta ( I know for a fact she's tried twice already ) and she even stalks my friends accounts, the way I take photos the poses I do everything it's getting annoying now and way out of control?? what can i do?
