After we divorced (I don't feel like getting into the deets - too complicated), he tried to get back to together but I was so angry I couldn't think straight and really needed my space from him. I met someone else and kind of dove into that relationship, but I realized eventually that it was just a rebound and got out of it. When my ex found out I was with someone else he seemed to move on real quick with someone else. Lets say the fact is your close people have known you as someone with good behavior. You are not rude, not temperamental, friendly, not judgemental. Until you live and deal with someone who is your partner alone that many times within some issues they like to say you should not feel like that to what they did. Now if you obviously know they have just put you down and you get sad, but they say you are being too much/sensitive, then how should you manage it the best way because you believe you should not feel bad because they make you feel so? Any advice? I can not give examples here since there have been many occasions already and all just sound long story. We've been in love for a year now; my girlfriend is in Florida whereas I'm in New York. For many hours each day we'd talk online and we'd call each other on the phone too, often she's all I think about and we are both very deeply in love with one another. Unfortunately just because of how things are at this point in time, neither of us have much money, and with travel costs nowadays seeming ever so exorbitant, we can't really see each other. However, in late June and for early July my girlfriend was able to make the trip up to New York and we saw each other for the first time, and spent a bit over a week together. It was a beautiful visit and it was quite incredible (though we are very sad its over and have to part). Anyways, my girlfriend is now in the Mid-Atlantic region which is a few hours away from New York visiting some relatives there, and she'll be there until August. I really want to go down there to spend time with her again, for a week or two, and she really wants me to be there with her too, especially since we aren't able to be together in person very often at all. So with the story taken care of, here's my question... Since we're both legal adults, it's already set in stone that I'm going down to see her next week. However I'm a shut-in person and I have never gone traveling on my own before. How do I tell my parents that I'm going away for a week or two without just leaving on bad terms? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 08:35 PM PDT Does this sound like it'd be a good excuse to use when you start talking to someone after a bit of a "silence" spell? I would tell them that I had phone problems. Would this be possible even after a month or so? What could be a good reason for said issue (other than having a new/different phone)? Could you say there was an error with the phone company and they got rid of your texting by accident and it took awhile to get it sorted out and reactivated? If not a phone problem, what else would be a good, believable excuse to give for a lack of communication? (If you can give examples for multiple time periods- like a week or less, 2 weeks to a month, two months, or longer than that, etc... that'd be nice too). And don't tell me not to give an excuse, because I still am (I have my reasons as to why). So simply saying there was a phone error wouldn't work? Phones do break and do some weird stuff. Sometimes my phone won't send texts. I'll have to restart my phone then redo the entire message. Also, I have heard of there being technical errors with phone companies and stuff... so it isn't like it's impossible for something to go wrong. Maybe the removing your texting from your plan by accident would be a bit unbelievable, but other errors could work. Also, I actually have wanted to start up again with them sooner... but I have been afraid that won't want me around. I tried talking to them but they acted weird... so now I've just been really scared to try to talk to them because I feel like they moved on and hate me now. I DO plan on being honest though about why I took longer than I originally should have/would have. Prior to meeting her however, she seemingly had liked me at one point but would show it in almost a toying manner, like a game. Constantly watching me from afar, with her friends and whispering and staring at me then suddenly avoiding me. Through a friend I was told that she felt I had stalked her for happening to notice her acting suspicious around me, and for the most part treats me very indifferent from that point on. I chose to reach out to her indicating that i wanted to be friends, but in her mind she thought i had liked her regardless of my intention. She did open up briefly until she started dating a good friend of mine and began to act coldly towards me once more. After trying to clear the air it didn't look like much had changed and she still acted the same. I made the decision to remove this person from all social media because I didn't feel she was someone who has a serious future let alone her poor attitude towards me in particular had not changed. Turned out that she was offended and now is afraid to talk to me and thinks that i hate her. (stupid I know) The obvious scenario would be to ignore this person moving forward but I want to know if any of you guys have faced or met someone similar to my situation before... |
| Question: Depressed in a new house, despite being in the same town and school zone.? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 06:17 PM PDT I don't know why, but my dads recently moved us to a new neighborhood, and never before have I actually resented to go back home, or even felt depressed in a new one. I alternate houses between my mom and my dad, and I recently had her pick me up and decided to stay because I didn't want to go back. I'm pretty used to moving, my dad has dragged us all over the country before we settled in our new town, but we've moved all iver the place in the town too. I'm just confused on why I feel upset in my new house. It's a nice neighborhood with a nice house, we have unpacked everything, I don't really miss anything from the old neighborhood, I didn't have any friends that lived there or anything. I can literally do anything I did before in the new house. I'm an artist/animator, a gamer, and I like to watch cartoons/movies. I can do all of those in the new house. I have a nice bed, i'm getting my own room in a month, and Ill go to the same school abd hang out with the same friends. I have no idea why I don't want to go back, I want to give the house a chance, but when my dad asked when to pick me up I was nearly in tears and had my mom talk to him to let me stay with her. |

In her vm, she apologizes but offers no explanation as to why she didn't want to respond to my fb messages. She then went on to ask for my help with some advice. Should i call her back and confront her? Is she even worth calling back at all? Btw, i have only known her 2 years as a little more than an acquaintance. We have never been really close but she does make me laugh sometimes. I want to handle this with dignity. Is it ok to confront her in a nice way? Or should i even bother? |

So now she wants to get married to this guy that I barely know . I see him tons but I just don't know him. He works at a grocery store, has 2 kids (don't live with him) and he lives at home with his mother (he's in his 40s my mom is in her 30s) that's all I know and she's been with this guy for a year and some months , I've never gotten to see anyone in his family. I was living with my grandmother for the 2013 - 14 school year to help her out . My mom started dating the guy like right in oct 2013 . She NEVER told me about him , but I found out . During the time I wasn't living at home she would NEVER call me . We wouldn't talk unless I called her first . Also I saw her only twice during that time. Once for Christmas Break and once for my birthday (2013). I moved back home October 2014 and I didn't have a key. I didn't have a key previously but I left so it wasn't a big deal . But I met her boyfriend when I came back and he had a key to the house . I STILL TO THIS DAY cannot get into my house unless I call her to open the door , or pick up the keys from her if she's at work .
