Question: What would you have done? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:58 PM PDT We havve new neighbors in the house across from ours in the court. My Mom talked with the new neighbor in our court about his drapes being thin that you can see in their house. The Father was giving their daughter a spanking across his lap. I believe she is 7 or 8 years old and was not fully dressed. You could see her white panty clearly cause her dress was completely lifted up past her waist. The Father seemed thankful that my Mom informed him of their drapes cause he was unaware of this but the Mother was upset that we peeked in their house "at a private time". Should my Mom have told them this? Really it is just a young girl getting a spanking?
Question: My mothers dog bit my daughter and now my bf and are fighting over It? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:55 PM PDT Our daughter (5) went camping with my mother this week. She took her little lap dog who is 3, my daughter has grown up around him and never any problems. Well she bent down to give him a kiss and hug and he bit her on the cheek. It punctured and drew blood but no stitches needed. Now our daughter is fine, she isn't scared she isn't mad at the dog or traumatized. My mother was so upset about it happening and said she would put him down. The dog is all my mother really has, she is single and loves her dog, I didn't want to see her have to give him up because of one insident when our daughter rarely spends time over there so I suggested a muzzle (which she bought right away) for when she does visit but unless dog is gone she just can't stay the night because I wouldn't expect the dog to be in his muzzle all night. I felt I handled the situation the best I could yet her father disagrees. He wants to shoot the dog and go off on my mother for being irresponsible...his words. and that I'm putting the dog and my mothers feelings before our daughter and to him "that is going cause problems for us" because I care more for a mutt than my own child. I clearly stated I do not blame my daughter for what happened but I'm not going to scream and yell at my mother and make her put the dog down over this. I feel he is blowing this way out of the water he isn't going to be happy till he has the dog put down and has made my mom feel even worse. Is he overracting or am I the wrong one here?
Question: I am in love with my foster sister? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:50 PM PDT She is 18. I am 22. She used to be beaten by her alcoholic mother and raped by her step dad all the time. Her father died before she moved in with her mom and her step dad. My mother is a social worker and she volunteered to be her foster parent. Anyway, this girl is really nice. We fostered many children and they usually stole and lied and fought, but this girl is awesome. We hang out lots of times, and my other siblings adore her, just like my friends. We hang out quite often together. We go to see the movies, to see the plays etc. I've never had more in common with any other girl. Sometimes she asks me to guard her until she falls asleep because she's scared and still has nightmares. It's been a few weeks since I realized I'm in love and can't stop thinking about her. She will probably leave soon (the government pays college and campus for abandoned children if they do well in school in my country) and I can't stand it. There are many problems about it. I've never had problems approaching or dating girls, but this situation is unique, I really have no idea how to tell her. Will she think I am a freak and avoid me? Will she hate me? She doesn't trust men much, but she said she feels safe around me. Also, if somehow we do date, how the hell do I tell my mother? I love my mom and I can't do this to her, I am sure she wouldn't approve. . Am I sick for feeling this way? Is this the same as incest?? I just can't help it, she's not like other girls, she's different, and entertaining... Trust me, I know it, I've dated girls, and this one is the one I've been looking for since I was 18. Her personality is the best personality in this world, and she's also beautiful... I am hopeless.
Question: Not sure about this? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:49 PM PDT I'm moving to West Virginia in November with my boyfriend and I'll turn 18 in November before I leave my boyfriend is afraid that my mom is going to get him in trouble if I move with him can she do that when I'll be 18 when I move there???
Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:45 PM PDT that is not fair at all I know the problem is to prevent people having kids to get more social welfare but what about unplanned pregnancies?what if someone wants a third child after a separation or death?this to me is not the solution and just means that more children are at risk of growing up in poverty
Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:42 PM PDT I want to know how Afghanistan and afghans came to be, and also why we are so diverse. My mom has has white skin (not pale), my dad is has a light tan, my little sister is light brown, I am brown, my little brother is white And looks white too, and the youngest brother is brown with really curly hair. My cousins are mostly light and some have green eyes and maybe 1 or 2 blue. One of my cousins looks pretty Chinese. So pretty much my family and relatives looks consist of brown and white skin, blue green and brown eyes, straight and curly hair. I want to know why we are so diverse.
Question: I have an obsessive fear of car accidents, what should I do? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:41 PM PDT Hello, I live in South Africa, where car accidents are very high. every day I hear about fatalities and even went to fatal crash site last week. I now have an obsessive fear about them and worry about whenenever we make trips and whenever my family members drive alone. My family members are fairly seasoned and confident drivers. My mum and Dad for over 20+ years each and my brother is very gifted even though he has only been at it for 5 years. What should I do?
Question: I just lost a crazy bet. How to turn someone into a living birthday cake? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:38 PM PDT I was playing cards with my twin sister. After a while, she came up with a crazy idea for a bet. We each would draw 1 card and the highest card won. The loser would be turned into a living birthday cake for the winner. Our birthday is on Sunday. I lost the hand and my sister says she will hold me to the bet. What do you think my sister will do to me as her living birthday cake? Will she bake me in the oven?
Question: How can i get my mother to leave me home alone?(F16)? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:36 PM PDT So I have had plans for about 3 months for a small 2 day trip and I also have a dentist appointment on the first day. But now since she wants to take her son to college my plans have to change. He has a car but for whatever reason she wants to go when she just saw him last month. I just want to stay home to do this one little thing but it seems as though it's a problem because it interferes with her son. And this isn't even a 1 time thing he always comes before me and I just don't understand it.
Question: How do i protect myself from my abusive, controlling father? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:33 PM PDT My Father is very controlling and abusive, his abuse intensifies when he drinks which is about 4 days out of the week. I so frustrated living under his roof he makes me pay ridiculous bills (his car payment, his cable bill and other luxuries for him) on top of that i have to pay rent, i have tried to move out but he throws family tradition at me telling i can not move out till i get married however he refuses to let me plan my wedding with me fiance of 1 year. I have tried to leave but he tracks me down and threatens everyone with violence, who offers to help me, i don't want any of my friends getting hurt for me. he also knows where i work and i'm afraid he will get me fired meaning ill have no way to support myself until i find another job. Im 23 and i have 2 sister (24 and 21) and a mother who also put up with his crap but they are so afraid to leave because of his threats and his abuse.
Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:26 PM PDT i hate my familyIm 15, girl. I find myself in my room crying everydsy becuase of my grandma or father. Father; He has major anger issues. If i say something wrong he will explode. His face goes all red and he screams at me. If i interrupt to try explain he screams louder and sends me running out of the room . He thinks he is always right, if i am he just screams at me. He has never once said "i'm sorry" to me. He has never once said "i love you" to me. He never listens . He has no interest in my life other than the sport i play and school. I can't talk to him about anything or trust him with anything. He always tells me "im selfish" or that "henh He is sick of me" Mother: dead Grandma; when we're on good terms she just bitches about people. When we're on bad terms she only speaks to me when she needs a chore done. She turns my younger siblings against me like doesnt let them tslk to me when shes there, she tells all my distant family twisted things about me so they hate me, but when my fathers there she acts nice to me. I dont livw with her but im in her house everyday due to the fact my mother is dead and my father works. My younger siblings are 10 and 12. They are both major telltakes and never stick up for me to my father and grandma like i do for them I feel like a slave. My family only want me to do work around the house. They never thank me for the work they do they just are mean to me when i do none.
Question: How to make my vacation go by faster? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:25 PM PDT I am currently on vacation for two weeks in Texas to see my aunt. She is a strict school teacher and pretty much shows in her attitutde towards people. She has been yelling at me for silly things. For example I do not swim because I am allergic to chlorine and I do not like to swim anyways. She is mad because I did not bring them and seems to think my mother told be to bring them when I told her I wasn't going swimming. Whatever. Anyways I am also helping her move and I always ask if she needs help, but she says no and tells my sister to help her. (They have a tight relationship anyways). I am going to a Rangers game with her and a tour of Cowboys stadium and out to eat a few more times before I go back home. I have been here in Texas for four long days. I brought my laptop, a CD, two notebooks (one is my journal and one is for my percussion composing), I also brought my cell phone, and iPod touch. She lives in a gated apartment complex. By the way I am 18 too if you needed to know that. I also have Aspergers Syndrome and tend to not want to go out and stay at home on my computer or write and compose. Should I go on long walks. Watch movies online. What should I do pray? Thanks!

Question: Having trouble in the "real world"? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:18 PM PDT I am a college grad. I had to leave my hometown because a sibling and I didn't get along - my family took her side. I was an ok student but when I left I started doing very well in college. Straight As, extracurriculars, a rigorous major. I'm back and now I'm having difficulty in the real world. My family still doesn't support me nicely. I got used to having a support stem in college and I don't have that here. I graduated college later and I'm in my mid almost late 20s. I worked in college and had a good experience. I missed two interviews because I got the time wrong and I have a small part-time job, very low paying and stressful. They already wrote me up (its been 4 months). Why am I having trouble after growing so much as a person? I would like to go to graduate school eventually. I do have the grades and exam scores needed.
Question: My brother keeps causing arguments between me and my mom? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:17 PM PDT My younger brother always lies about stuff to my mom about me and my mom yells at me for it. The thing that gets me mad is when My brother complains about me my mom yells at me but when I complain about my brother my mom just ignores me or yells at me. I try my best to be nice to my mom but my brother doesn't let me. What to do? My brother can't tolerate me and my mom going along with each other.
Question: In laws are living with us and I can't handle it? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:14 PM PDT When I first met my boyfriend I knew he was helping his family (his mom, dad, brother) out. I moved in over a year ago with out 1 and half year old child. I do not get along with his dad and have had words said back and forth. I hate going to the kitchen and cooking because his dad is always in there. Majority of the time me and our son stay in the room. My bf will not let me fix up our sons room because his mom uses that room for "junk". The brother comes and goes I don't really have to much problems with him. But they hardly help do anything. I refuse to clean the house (living room/kitchen) because I don't use it. I only clean up the mess me my bf and child make. It's my bfs house but I feel like it's his family's house. I want to be with him but what do I do? I'm going to end up going off on the entire family and that's the last thing I want. It's not good for us to live like this and my bf tells me that his dad won't be here forever. But I can't keep waiting for him to move out cuz it's never gonna happen. His family has it made there they hardly pay anything and they all spend there money on stupid stuff. Please someone help before I go crazy!
Question: I don't want a sweet sixteen, my parents do....why? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:11 PM PDT Okay, so I really don't want a sweet sixteen party, but my mom and dad are basically saying I have to have one and it's a coming of age thing. I hate parties. With a passion. Usually the ones thrown for me. My parents want me to have a big party, and they want me to wear a dress and have everyone over just like my older sister. I am being held to the standard my social butterfly sister made. I have a few good All I want is to binge Tokyo Ghoul, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Hetalia, eat pasta, and sleep. Maybe even curl up with a good book and read the day away. Not sit at the head of the table, as my parents planned, in a dress and have people I don't know, that my mom made me invite, sing happy birthday to me. My mom wants dancing and presents and a puffy dress. I can't stand any heel that is not on my combat boots. Help.
Question: Is it bad to do this with my family? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 12:06 PM PDT Sometimes when I'm with family and we're just chilling I'll get a pillow from my room, take down my trousers a little and I'll hump the pillow really hard and make moaning noises and sometimes I shout out "I'm coming I'm ******* coming" Obviously I am doing this as a joke and I don't think my family take it seriously but is it wrong to do this? I only do this as a joke and I think my family know that but is it wrong? Legit and serious answers only please!

Question: Cousin stole money from me in past? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 11:11 AM PDT Cousen stole money (80$) from me when he was about 12 (6 years ago) and his mum made him confess it and return it to me. Now I found my 3 secret stashes are empty (about 150$ as I remembered) I forgot about it, but I was shocked when I found it empty, and I'm sure he stole it at time when he stole my 80$ (6 years ago) but he never confess it. I kinda bothers me know that he never confessed those 3 thefts, I feel it is too late ti bring it now. I want to forget it, but those 3 betrayals which I found out now bothers me. Should I bring it or not?
Posted: 09 Jul 2015 11:05 AM PDT So my grandfather died last night and I just still can't believe it and I'm thinking about the funeral. I'm not sure whether or not I should go. I am 16 and my parents think I am old enough to go but in my opinion, I wouldn't be able to go through it. It will be too much for me. Is it okay if I don't go and deal with it my own way rather than sob in front of everyone? I really think I shouldn't go
Question: 15 year old daughter is abusive towards me? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 11:01 AM PDT My 15 yr old daughter is making my life a living hell. If Ashlyn doesn't get what she wants, she'll hit me, punch me, kick me. She's broken one of my fingers. She calls me a *****, a skank, a whore. Just a few months ago I was financially able to move out, and divorce her father, who was extremely abusive towards us both. He repeatedly put Ashlyn in the hospital, and I didn't protect her life I should've. When Ashlyn got older, my husband wasn't just punching an innocent little girl anymore, she got taller, and beat him up too with bar stools, they had both knocked each other out. Ashlyn has been sent to juvie multiple times. She's done heroin. In juvie, she was raped, and it only made her angrier. I'm thankful she does well in school and sports, but I fear her temper will get in the way of any future she has. My husband was severely bipolar, and I tried medicating Ashlyn, it did absolutely nothing to her violent tendencies. Ashlyn constantly runs away from home. All of the boys she dates are abusivebtowards her too. It breaks my heart. I just want her to be happy.
Posted: 09 Jul 2015 10:45 AM PDT I love staying in my room, I hate it when my parents keep calling me.I just don't feel like interacting with humans.Today my dad was kidding about going to move and I said he can go and he said, but your mum doesn't want me to and I said even she wants you to leave. And now I feel terrible.I kinda think I'm just tired of my parents.I feel like my dad treats me more like a maid then a daughter.I don't know what's wrong with me *than
Question: I'm going through a hard time? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 10:43 AM PDT My mom gives me chores to do everyday and I do these chores almost always, but sometimes one slips my mind or I don't do one to my best ability. It's never intentional for me to mess up doing a chore or forget one. My mom's reaction to me forgetting to do a chore is like hell. There is screaming, hitting, name calling. She doesn't care if I apologize because by not doing a chore I am "spitting in her face." She calls me names (in Russian because she's russian) which basically translate to brat, piece of sh**, and bi***. She tells me I'm selfish just like my dad (they are divorced) and grounds me all the time for these reasons. I always regret if I forget a chore but I really try my best to do all of them and almost all the time I do everything she tells me to do. I'm really sensitive and after she calls me names or hits me I start crying, to which she gets more angry and tells me to stop pitying myself. I understand my mom has a hard time as a single mother, especially financially, but I feel as though she's taking her anger out on me and I feel like I don't deserve it. But she specifically told me I deserve it. I work on the weekends which she says isn't enough which doesn't make sense because I don't have any means of getting to work other than on the weekends. (I'm 16 by the way) I'm even applying to a place close by so I can walk to work on weekdays. Basically she makes me feel like **** all the time and lately it's been worse than ever. The "hitting" isn't abusive hitting, it's more like a slap to the head or pushing me. Just wanted to clear that up that she doesn't physical abuse me. Also she is a good mother and does a lot for me in terms of keeping me healthy but I just mentally cannot take this anymore.
Question: Sister is spoiling my son.? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 10:41 AM PDT I'm 20, single dad, my son is 4. My younger sister is 17. Almost every time, 9/10 times, she brings him a gift, whether it be a toy or candy. They obviously love each other. I get it, she's excited to be an aunt, wants him to be happy, but I think she's on "gift overload". I remember one time I came home from work and she'd been watching him. She got him a bag of mall cookies and a few action figures. Do I tell her to slow up?
Posted: 09 Jul 2015 10:39 AM PDT Mum met him a few years back and he moved in within a few months of their relationship. My sister was 6 at the time.I moved out 4 years ago but I still see my sister nearly every day as I'm really close to her.And I know something is wrong. The bubbly 6 year old girl from 2 years ago has become really quiet and really sarcastic. My mum works 3 night shifts a week, leaving my sister alone with him all night. Its usually the next day after that my sister is weird.I've talked to my mum about it and she swears blind nothing is going on,but she drinks alot. From the outside looking in,I see a very uncomfortable little girl. She stays with me on Saturdays, and she is so happy and talkative. But if i ever ask about how things are at home, she goes quiet.I want to take this further as I can just feel something bad is happening, but my sister isnt talking, there is no proof at all. From the day I met this man,i knew something was off. There is something very smarmy about him,he's different to my mums ex boyfriends. He doesn't really like me,he's always glaring at me and sighing when I visit.I think he knows I know something.I know this isn't in my head. One time i visited and my mum was in the kitchen.I walked into the living room unexpectedly and he was sitting on the sofa with my sister watching tv, and his hand was on her thigh. She was 7.I guess thats where I first started suspecting. She's definently more jumpy and anxious.WHAT DO I DO? Please help.Im her big brother,im supposed to protect her. I forgot to say, when I walked into the living room and they were sitting on the sofa and his hand was on her thigh, when he saw me he instantly moved his hand away. Like it was instant, no hesitation. Will the police really look into it? It would be my word against his, my mum is on his side, and my sister isn't talking.
Question: Why is my mom doing this? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 10:35 AM PDT My mom knows I'm pursuing a fashion modeling career and she keeps bringing up girls, or people she sees and tells me, or comes back and tells me she looks like a model, or she's a skinny model material. She also says That she was real skinny young And could have been a model. I'm so annoyed with this behavior I don't get it. What is she trying to do? We as a family are not in the most great financial state. We are really struggling. My dream is to make it big in the fashion industry and buy my parents a home, I feel I owe it to them. It just hurts me to feel this weird distancing and discouragment from my mother and lack of support. She doesn't know I just want to make her and my dad proud and take the financial strain off of them. I even mention I want to buy them a home so they never have to pay rent again, and in some way she rejects it and says she will buy a home when she wins the lottery. In my heart I feel I owe my parents the world, but she is rejecting my gratitude.
Question: Am i doing the right thing by taking care of my little bros? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 10:32 AM PDT I have two younger brothers, from a different father than mine. And I've always taken care of them because parents are really never around and if they are then they stay upstairs and they don't care about us. I'm a junior in high school, and since they are younger its alot of stress on me with school and work. It's like I have my own little family already, but now I feel like I'm not doing the right thing. I taught them their colors, all the things they needed to know. Am i doing too much and letting it slide and making it like I'm ok with taking care of them all the time? Going 9 years taking care of them, making sure they have food, clothes on their back, shoes on their feet. Should I stand up and say " no not anymore, take care of your kids yourself" or just keep taking care of them? These kids are my life, and I fear that if I say something I will never see them again after i graduate. What do I do?? Am I doing the right thing by taking care of them??
Question: Do you think that our parents a BAD EVIL people for bringing us into this world? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 10:30 AM PDT I sure do.They already knew that this world was f*cked up and twisted, but for some reason they still decided to have sex and bring us here!I sometimes yell and curse my parents out for bringing me here!I tell them that they should of just aborted me.This world is so messed up!Lots of bad things happen here everyday. All they did was bring us here to suffer, nothing else.Happiness is on separate occasions while suffering happens pretty much all the damm time! They also should of thought of all the pain we will feel when dying, and also being afraid of dying.I sure do think that all of our parents are terrible people for bringing us here!I would rather not have kids and bring them here to suffer in this sh!tty world!

Question: Took my mom's truck? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 10:28 AM PDT I'm 16. I've had my license for 4 months now and yesterday night my mom took the car that she gave me to drive to work and I had ordered food from the pizza place and took her truck to pick it up. I didn't want them to deliver because it was an extra $6 and I don't have a job so I didn't have a lot of money to spend and I thought well maybe if I just take the truck real quick to pick up my food that everything will be fine. So when I came back to my street. The parking spot for the truck was taken...my mom would now know that I took her truck so I had to park it across the street. She confronted me about it and took her other car key from me and said that I can no longer drive. What should I do?

Question: How to run away from home? I can't stand this anymore? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 10:06 AM PDT I am 19 and I am a girl. I live with my parents. I can't stand it because I have no privacy at all. I share a bedroom with my sister and my cousin who came here for school (she lives with us) and I am never alone. I can't listen to music, I can't study, I can't read. I study as a hobby because my parents don't have money to pay for my college. However, my scholarship is only 1200 euros a year, but they say that "I am just fine like this'. Wtf? They yell at me like I am 5. My mother won't let me eat healthy foods, she always makes fatty meals. I can't really eork anywhere with a High School degree, but they pressure me to work. They don't want me to work in a bar though. There are no free places at stores and there is no MacDonalds or anything like that in my boring, gray town. I want to move out, but I have like 5 cents in my pocket lol. I want to go to college and become successful, but how? How do I find a job? ItIt's impossible for me to move to a bigger city as I absolutely have no any money and can't afford it. I want to be indepedent. I feel lost. Like my future doesn't really exist. I have a cousin overseas and he has his own hotels, and I could work there, but my father won'won't even let me contact him, let alone pay for my ticket.
Question: Can a parent force a child (aged fourteen) to do their job.? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 10:00 AM PDT My mother takes me out of plans that I had cleared with her and forces me to go to her work. She cleans houses in a business she created, and she is the only worker doing anything in her business. She forces me to do her cleaning work with her. When I don't know what to do and ask questions (I go in with a generally open mind and try to help) she gets extremely angry and starts screaming at me. She also starts getting up in my face when we are leaving to go to her work if I ask why I need to go or express any form of thought of not wanting to go. I was just wondering if any of this is legal, beause it feels like it isn't.

Question: How much do I pay my Mother In-Law to watch my kids? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 09:13 AM PDT My mother in-law has offered to quit work to watch my kids. One full time first grader and one 6 month old. Her husband works full time and makes good money, but she has a spending habit and her money is her "funny money". Here is the kicker; we all bought a house together, so this changes things. We go fifty-fifty on the household bills/mortgage. I am not sure what is enough and/or what is too much for her to watch them. I have read most grandparents charge nothing and some charge half the going rate. Any thoughts given our specific situation? With the answers I have gotten thus far, I will add that the $500 range has come up. I did want to add this before as I was hoping for unhindered responses. In addition we will NOT be writing off the childcare expenses come tax season. In regards to her portion of the mortgage, her money is her money. None of here income will go towards bills/mortgage.

Question: If my Stepdad becomes my father through adoption, does it disown my blood father? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 08:59 AM PDT Sorry that was a weird question to word, so it probably sounds confusing. My mother and father are separated. I live with my mother. My mother is married to someone else now and he is my Stepdad. If he adopts me, I'll be able to go to college for free, because he used to be in the Air Force. I was wondering if I would be disowning my father-by-blood if I agreed to him adopting me.
Question: Does anyone have this problem where your mother is too harsh to respect and love? Posted: 09 Jul 2015 08:59 AM PDT I am 17 years old and i have a major problem with my mother. She is a very traditional and conservative person. She mocks at people who have done unique and uncultured things. She does not accept mistakes that me or my sister makes. I know they say you have to respect your mother and sometimes my mom is the most peaceful and loving person. But other times, she argues and fights for no reason. And she doesn't accept the real me.
| Posted: 09 Jul 2015 08:48 AM PDT My father had been a professor at a university and he had an early retirement about two years ago, telling me that he needed to teach me as he hasn't in the past years. He is nice and good in general, but the problem is he is stubborn as **** and has a nightmarish negative side. Once he goes in "teaching mode", he refuses to accept any of my rejections to his policies / regulations, and in which most are NORMAL things, which he misinterprets as horrible habits. For example, I was once starting to do a math excersise. I'm bad at math (especially failed the last test) and he thinks I hate it, which i absolutely don't. And I was about to start, I wiped my eyes as they itched, and my father halted my actions and spat out "STOP THAT ATTITUDE!". Apparently he thinks I hate math because I wiped my eyes. Slightly annoyed, I answered "No, I'm totally normal right now." "NO." he replied, in a serious and hurtful tone. "No, I really am having a good mood a few moments before." "I wiped my eyes as they itched, and you disrupted my mood by interpreting that as an bad attitude."After a few moments of harsh staring, "I don't know how to teach you anymore. You have such a good teacher, me. And you don't use me. I don't know how to teach you. I quit." Oh and fyi, I'm asian. And they are asian parents. | Posted: 09 Jul 2015 08:19 AM PDT Whenever I do something that counted as greedy I automatically feel super shameful. So I'm staying at my sisters house and she has two children around my age.Whenever we go to the store and I go to buy myself snacks; I have my own vacation money, they always expect me to get them something and when I do, and I get myself another thing, they expect me to get that thing for them too, and I always obey. They also like me to play with them, but whenever I ask for a certain game, they say after 5 rounds of theirs, then it becomes 6 rounds, then 7,then 8;you see the pattern. So after I decide I won't wait forever, I leave and let them have their way.I don't like to misbehave, especially when I'm a guest so I say and do nothing about it, and instead focus on cleaning their house for them. But I feel like I'm being selfish and inconsiderate when I expect better treatment.Am I selfish? |
