There's this older lady that works there that teases me a lot and I tease her as well. She mentioned yesterday that she heard I make really good brownies and I told her I do. We were talking to each other a lot and I blushed like twice around her because of the remarks she made (she called me too tall and she mentioned I was too old to be in a bar at 9pm even though I'm only 26). I hid my face as I blushed and other people shouted out that I was blushing and asked who caused it and I looked away and walked away. She hit me after I stub my toe and shouted out "Ahh! Son of a b*tch!!!" She giggled and asked if I was okay. She hit me again when I teased her about being too short (she's 5'2 and I'm 6'6). After everyone left, I presented to her a tray of brownies and told her I made them for her. She had a huge smile on her face and hit my shoulder. Then she said she would stay to help me clean up. We talked and I told her that I'd rather have her go home if she wanted and she said she didn't mind helping me. I thanked her afterwards and told her that she's really nice. I blurted out that I thought she was pretty too and I started blushing and stuttering and she giggled and I looked down and she hit me and I asked why she did that and she said because she wanted to. |

He would pull my chair closer to his, tell me to wait for him, and he would wait for me when I needed to do something, and we always walk out of class together, but the thing is HE HASN'T ASKED FOR MY NUMBER. Its been like almost 4 months and the semester is almost over and I don't him to be like the one that got away. Im not sure if it may be that he feels insecure since it may be his first time liking another race or feeling something, but this is my first time liking another race so Im not sure how to approach this because my friends have told me that it may be that he's just shy, but he doesn't seem shy in class, idk relationship wise though. I want to get to know him better outside of the school environment, but idk if he may also want that. I'm not *extremely* overweight, my bone structure helps but I am a bigger woman. Even though I know not everyone is shallow, I've spent so long thinking I had to improve other aspects of myself to make up for my weight, I never though a guy could actually be attracted to the extra pounds. Sometimes my bf says things that confuse me, like "you have chubby hands" or "little fat feet" and I thought this was like a "playful" jab and would either brush it off or tease something about him but I've begun to realize he thinks these are compliments when he says these things. I commented on how I think it's strange for him to rub my stomach like I'm a Buddha statue and he just continued. I know some guys date women who are bigger, but I just thought this was accepting that we're all "flawed" or different. Are some guys attracted to extra pounds and can anyone tell me what's the attraction aspect of this? I've never been in this role before and I'm v confused. I just wanna know what specifically about a few extra pounds could be found attractive, no fitness advice, I'm good on that. I could stand to lose weight but natural disposition makes it so I'm going to be a little bigger than avg either way.When I workout, he'll almost try to tell me not to, saying things like, "love yourself first!" I mean, he's very independent where it counts, but co-dependent in the relationship. He doesn't have female friends (even though I told him it's okay to). He barely sees his male friends. He has said that I'm the only thing that truly makes him happy. For a good example of his co-dependency, he and I are planning to spend Saturday night alone, watching movies and cuddling. Apparently, he was invited to a party at the house next door to his house on Saturday night. He sent me a message asking if I'd rather go to the party or just spend the night with him, watching movies. He said he figured I'd want to be alone with him, but he wanted to make sure. He literally said "I didn't really want to go, but if you had wanted to go, we would've gone." Like what the heck? And then he says he loves me so he'll accept whatever decision I choose. We were instroduced by mutual friend and hit it off on the first date, but it's been 9 months since her 4.5 yr relationship ended. She believed she would marry this guy and said she wants to take things slow with me. But she goes to work and tells her friends about our date and says she likes me. Per our mutual friend. We had consistent conversations over text and phone calls in between, and have been out on four dates. On the second date I wanted to kiss her, but got mixed signals..so I asked "what would you do if I tried to kiss you right now?" she replied "I would probably say no..I want to take things slow, but thank you for asking." Fourth date last week but she canceled and texted a few hours before saying she was in the ER all night. She asked if we could reschedule but never said when. We continued texting..except, 1-5 hours began going by until she responded. I went with it then 2 days went by with nothing. I figured she moved on and did so myself, until I received a message on thanksgiving "happy thanksgiving, hope you have a great day with your family." The conversation kinda picked up again. We had a good date last week, and saw she was actually sick. But now she cancelled today's three days ago and we haven't talked since.
