My good friend got engaged and is looking to plan her wedding within the next year. She is considering a month where I have a major commitment, something that was in my plans before she even got engaged. She is aware of my conflict, she even checked in and confirmed what date is not good for me. I didn t want to be that annoying opinionated friend so I assured her she should plan as she needs and not to worry about me. The more I think about it though, I will be really disappointed and, quite frankly a little heartbroken, if i have to change my plans for her wedding (not to mention I already have a non-refundable payment down for this event). Is it rude to go back and ask her to not book the wedding that one weekend of the month she wants?
