Question: What's wrong with my brother? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 09:59 PM PST My brother is 44 and recently started living with me and my family because he went bankrupt, lately his behavior has been very bad and my husband does not want him living with us anymore. 1. He talks and argues excessively [If he is happy he will excessively talk about what he is happy about, and vice versa] this is an EVERYDAY thing for the past 3 months 2. Everyday he is angry and gets into arguments with people and has been violent in the past [ ex wife statement] he recently lost his job because he verbally abused his boss 3. He asks the same questions multiple times a day [it's like he doesn't remember that he asked something or doesn't remember the answer to the questions he asked] 4. If he loses something he accuses everybody of stealing it and starts swearing 5. He is always talking at the TV, he eats and drinks excessively [Although I think maybe he has diabetes but he doesn't take care of it] I would like to get him some help but I don't know how; My husband wants him out of the house so I have to do what's best for my family but I want to make sure my brother gets whatever help he needs as well. Thanks |

Posted: 22 Dec 2018 09:54 PM PST I am in a serious relationship with a man in his early 40s.I am in my late 30s. He has already been married and has 3 children. He is currently going through a divorce. He is madly in love with me or so he says and wants things to progress between us ie get married in the future. It is already complicated because of his previous marriage and children but also he was also a serious adulterer. I mean he even tried it on with me when he was married and I refused. I on contrast, am practically a virgin by modern standards. I have only been in 2 relationships, longest 3 years (never been married), I have dated casually but nothing serious. I don't think I am experienced enough to deal with a man like him. I think the fact that I am conservative and reserved is one of the qualities he finds endearing about me. He works in the city and I think most men in the city do have a tendency to stray? He was with his wife when he tried hitting on me and I outright refused, I think I even laughed in his face! Then about one year later he contacted me and told me he was going though a divorce, which now clearly I know is true. He seems to say that he had a lot of respect for me because I refused him and I am by nature a shy, homebody kind of woman. I am just scared that I might be too naive for a man like him, esp in terms of marriage? I wonder does a man like that ever change and what my boundaries should be I am scared that he has a history of cheating... will he cheat on me? |

Question: Is this normal for sister in laws to do? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 09:11 PM PST My friend's sister in law treats her husband (sister in law's brother) as her husband. She depends on him for everything. She's married and has her own husband yet she just lets him sit around and be beta man and asks her brother for water, to bring her a napkin, to take her picture with family members and their kids, etc. she even asks her brother to pick her up from the bus station from work while her own husband stays at home. On family hiking trips, the sister in law is in the front with her brother while her husband is all the way in the back, last in line. My friend is super sweet but feels as if her husband's sister demands so much from her own brother and it's weird, considering she has her own husband. Is this normal? |

Posted: 22 Dec 2018 07:21 PM PST Me and my husband got married today both of us are guys of course. I'm still trying to figure out my sexually I don't know wether I'm bi or gay. In a way I love both men and women just the same but I'm sexually attracted to men hint I'm married to one. He was gay before I even met him he already had a partner was engaged to him but he decided to go for me I don't know why. I keep thinking about what would happen if he hadn't noticed me or if I haven't been there that day to meet him he's the love of my life he's my soul mate and best friend I don't know what I do without him. I know I should move on look into our future but I just can't help thinking of what could have been if he didn't fall for me I still don't know how he noticed me or why he left his partner for me. He probably wanted to be with a rich guy I hope he's not just using me for money. That's what bothers me. Is it OK to cry in front of him ? |

Question: Should I get involved in my wife's verbal fight she had today with her brother? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 02:21 PM PST My wife and her spoiled brat of the world revolves around me younger brother got in a verbal battle over the phone. He was very rude, cold, arrogant and condescending to her and upset her very much. This did not make me happy. We will be seeing them on Wednesday for a post Christmas celebration. I really want to tear her brother a new one in the worst way and hurt him the way he hurt my wife. What should I do? |
Question: My husband is having an affair; he wants to leave but she won't let him? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 10:41 AM PST My husband and I have spent the past 30 years together. We've gone through very tough times together but hasn't every couple? No marriage is a joyride all the time but we love each other and the life, home, and children we've created together. I've just discovered (not yet to his knowledge) that he's been having an affair. I don't know quite how long but it's at least 2 years because one of her recent texts mentioned the restaurant they went to for their second anniversary. This hurts so much that he's been having a sexual and emotional affair/relationship with another woman for this long but the more time I spent reading their texts together, the more it seems like he's trying to end things and she's in love with him and "not ready to let him go yet." He's so blunt with her. Here's just a few texts he sent her: "You're a beautiful person but so is my wife. I love her and don't want to leave her or my family. You deserve to have a family too. Don't you want that?" "This has to end sometime and when it does I'll spend the rest of my life making it up to my wife." But then there are texts from him the very next day asking her to meet him at a hotel room. Why tell her things need to end but then continue seeing her? He doesn't know yet that I've discovered the affair. Of course I'll be confronting him but right now I feel more anger towards this woman for begging him to continue the affair when he wants it to end. It's just so hard to sit with. I'm sure he's only in it for the sex with her because he's always had a high sex drive but we do have a sex life together! We do have sex a couple times a week. It appears that he has sex with her only a couple times per month. |

Question: Would it be petty if I didn’t go? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 08:49 AM PST A close friend of mine is having a surprise birthday party for his fiancée next week. He's going all out this year and wants to invite a lot of friends and make it a big event. He's told me in advance he wants to invite my ex ,who he's still friends with, and that she's bringing some guy. When he first told me I said I was okay with it and I was planning on taking my girlfriend with me also, but now I'm having second thoughts. The thought of seeing her is becoming too much. She broke up with me after going out for four years just out of the blue. It was without a doubt the worst period of my life to date and I even took a semester off of school just moping around. I met my gf around that time and I in the years since I haven't given it much thought and my life's been great. I'm not thrilled about seeing her and I don't know what I would say if I did see her. We were kids then but it's not something I can just forget. Should I go? What should I do if I see her? |

Question: Can a married man tell his friend she's very pretty? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 07:49 AM PST Is it ok for a married man to tell his married female friend that she's very pretty each time he sees her?? That she is his type and that she dresses so beautifully? That he loves the connection that they share and that he looks forward to seeing her? That he'll protect her no matter what? Is it ok to say these things for the sake of friendship? Or is he trying to get somewhere else?? |
Question: Am I committed to still help my ex with everything? Posted: 22 Dec 2018 04:39 AM PST My ex husband told me I should always have his back and help him when he needs it. We have a daughter together and he pays child support amd has visitation rights. He got mad when I told him I dont need to have his back on everything cuz we are not together anymore and he is capable of doing things for himself. He has a job and manages to pay his own bills and take care of himself. So he got mad and stopped helping out and started neglectiing our daughter. He blocked my number and off social media so I cant get in contact with him anymore. Its been 5 months what should I do? |
