He plays college football and due to that and classes he doesn't have a job (and financial aid doesn't qualify for work study) I understand that, as my older brother does the same thing. He paid for one date at a Burger King for the first date and other than that I have usually paid for the food, he doesn't have a car (his parents shared his and they live 4 hours from the college) he always lets other people buy him food and stuff and I mean I get it it's fine if they offer but then he would like order expensive stuff and a ton and I don't know, just seems odd like I get uncomfortable when people try to buy me meals and stuff if it isn't my parents. When I would offer to let him use my car he would say he's too nervous to drive (he does have a license) but he has anxiety too. He jokes about being broke and stuff but aside from money he seems to give up so easily in coursework, he'll fail classes sometimes or drop them and just has no initiative. If football workouts or practice isn't mandatory he doesn't go, whereas a lot of other athletes would do it to show commitment. We've been together 4 months and he has yet to get me flowers or any of those things which I know it's a cliche but he just doesn't seem to really care about any of that. I know we're freshmen in college but I feel like I'm so much more driven that it's bothering me at this point. I wanna stick it out and see him grow up, but is it likely he will? |

We are planning our future together (early, I know, but when it's right..it's right.) My boyfriend accepts and respects that so much. He understands my reasoning and wants what will make me happy. However, last year, I became FWB with a guy I've known since I was 12 (about to be 28). I REALLY liked this guy, but he only wanted FWB so I was like whatever and agreed to it because I was obsessed with him when I was in middle school and being with him in any way was (so I thought) a dream come true. We only had sex a handful of times and it didn't take long for me to realize how toxic and manipulative he is, but for some reason, we can't get rid of each other. We've constantly blocked and unblocked each other numerous times. Recently, he came back into my life and he keeps saying he misses me like crazy, wishes he could be my "side hoe", that he's even more attracted to me because I WON'T cheat with him, etc. I think I am handling it well because I keep steering him away from that talk to talk about other things that are more platonic and of course, I'm not cheating with him. But i cant fix all teeth in a short time bc i dont have enough money.. and he put a cure on one tooth at the beginning of this month and my tooth still hurts, especially outside bc it is cold.. i cried today bc of the pain. and when i asked him about my stain he didnt even see it, he said yeah but how would he know if he didnt see it? My parents wont send me to another dentist.. bc this one is near our home and it is cheaper than other dentists.. but i dont wanna go to this dentist anymore.. he is mean, incapable of fixing teeth.. omg idk what to do.. pls help 😭 i want to have beautiful teeth.. |
