me and my boyfriend are in love and have been together for 3 years. he's 35 and i'm 26. we've been through hell and back with each other. theres a part of me that cant live without him and the other part of me wonders if we are really meant to be. he's always there for me, when i didn't have a job or car he drove me everywhere i needed to go without complaining at all, and also gave me a couple hundred dollars weekly until i got back on my feet. he is finally going back to school for his degree in psychology and he said i'm the one who motivated him to want to go back so we could have a great future. he's extremely attentive, affectionate, and family oriented. i've never been in a relationship where i didn't have to beg for a text back, he's the only one who's truly wanted to show me off. HOWEVER, he has 3 kids, i have none. i have never had any desire to have kids, i have a short fuse with kids. i used to be a teacher so i know how it goes. me and his kids get along for the most part, i don't even see them a whole lot anyways and my boyfriend still gives me a ton of attention despite him having kids, but do you think this will be an issue later down the road?its not an issue now but i wonder how much things will change when we get married. ANYWAYS, onto my guy friend. we've been friends for like 9 years, its the craziest thing cause we've never argued before, EVER. he's single. no kids. nice car, good job. he is respectful, honest, dresses nice. my family loves him ESPECIALLY my mom, she always says stuff like " your guy friend would be perfect for you, i wish you would get with him instead" my guy friend has been having trouble in the love department for YEARS,he can never find the right girl for him. sometimes i wonder if thats a sign that we should somehow be together. the other day he told me he was fed up with the girl he was talking to because she always had a bad attitude and belitted him. he told me " i wish all girls were like you, you're a great woman and you just have the best heart" even my boyfriend said like a year ago to me he was like " mabye your mom is right, maybe you are meant to be with your guy friend, yall seem to be more compatible"
