Question: Mother-in-law and sister-in-law are talking behind my back? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 05:00 PM PST So my best friend ran into my mother-in-law and 18 year old sister-in-law at the grocery store last week. At first she didn't want to tell me. She said that they were both talking behind my back. She didn't want to tell me it all of it because she said it would really hurt my feelings. They were also talking crap about my parents. I was just over at their house visiting a few days before. They were all nice and fake. I can't believe how two faced they really are. It really is eating me up inside. I have never done anything to them. I have always been nice, respectful, and have always praised them. Christmas is coming and I feel like I can't go over to their house. I talked to my husband about it and even cried and he responded with "Just ignore it. If I say something it will just make everything weird." I don't even know how to handle them or the fact that my husband said to just ignore it. My best friend said to invite her to lunch and ask her what her problem is with me. I don't know if I can. I'm not good at all with conflicts! What do I do?! |
Question: Is this disrespectful to you? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 04:02 PM PST Alright so, my friends mom legit doesnt respond to anyone unless the person tells them in person that they are going to text them. She doesn t even respond to my friend (her daughter), so I asked my mom if she could text my friends mom so she could come over and hangout, and I would ask my friend if she could ask her mom to reply? But, my mom is saying shes not gonna text her because of that one time she called, and never responded? Do you think that shes right for not reaching back out? |
Question: Why did my classmates get mad at me for this incident? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 03:43 PM PST Today on the transit bus there was a younger student (I'm a senior and he's a freshman) who wanted to sit next to me, since there were plenty of empty seats I asked him politely if he could go sit somewhere else. Then a couple of my other classmates overheard it and totally chewed me out for being so rude towards my classmate. I felt so sad and guilty over what I did that I ended up letting him sit next to me because I didn't want to get in trouble with the teacher. Oddly I used to think my behavior towards my freshman classmate was okay, I had many of the popular students who I considered to be "friends" asking me if I could leave them alone, they also told me they don't want me hanging out with them at the moment and no one said anything to them. I used to think if it was okay for the popular students to act this way towards me because a lot of people liked them and I want to be them instead of myself. |
Question: How to stop my roommate from using up all my stuff? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 03:19 PM PST So my roommate asks to borrow things like sugar, foil, or whatever and I say sure. But my problem is they continue using it until none is left for me. One two occasions they bought more for me. I dont know what to do??? I sorta began hiding those items but I'm afraid theyll look for them. My mentality is borrow once or twice until I can get a hold of my own... but this person borrows me clean. Same for things like dish soap. They said the garbage disposal and they were pouring dish soap into the sink with a running water essentially wasting it... I am incredibly frugal so this sorta like kills me to see. We also drank once and said we'd go half and they never paid their half and it's been 5 months. Plus they drank all the alcohol. I paid for all of it and they drank it all. I sorta am feel very anxious despite it being 5 months ago and it haunts my mind regularly. Probably because I do not like to be something who is taken advantage of and I am very, very frugal and cheap. |
Question: Feeling nervous about meeting my friend? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 02:31 PM PST I'm about meet a friend that I know for 2 years online, he knows what I look like but I only showed him about 5 pics of me through those years and he barely heard my voice because I am shy, he is real, I seen videos, he video chat with one of my other friends, I was too shy to join. And he really wants to meet me this spring, but I don't know why I am feeling guilty like I am not showing what I looked like. The pictures of me are real and are unfiltered, but in real life I feel like he would be upset because I feel like I am ugly. I don't know if this makes sense to you guys... |
Question: Why would a guy say "would you be mine" when asking to have sex? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 12:42 PM PST Why would a guy say "would you be mine" when asking to have sex? |
Question: Does my guy friend like me or is he just being nice ? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 12:19 PM PST 1) I met this guy in October and he's become a close friend of mine. Unfortunately, he lives in another state . The first time we talked on the phone, he wanted me to stay on the line so we that we could fall asleep together on the phone. Now we call each other everyday just to fall asleep together. 2) He confides in me and tells me personal things about his life. He's stated that he's happy that he can talk to me. 3) He's consistent with communication, he texts/ calls me everyday. 4) He calls me cute names. 5) One time we were talking about kids one night on the phone and he said, "OUR kids". (We were talking about some activities we thought would be cool once we become parents) 6) We slept on the phone one night and he woke me up the next morning and told me to text him later and also "love you" before he hung up. I have no idea if I heard that wrong or if it was a slip but it sounded clear as day. If you're wondering, we're both 19 lol. |
Question: Did my friend's dad get kidnapped? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 11:56 AM PST I was at my friend's house and my friend was doing a Fortnite dance when his father came in. He saw my friend and paused for a bit and then said he was going to go buy cigarettes. My friend says he didn't smoke so it seemed weird. This was a few days ago and he hasn't gotten back. The store is just down the street. Could he have been kidnapped? |
Question: What is this girls issue with me? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 11:49 AM PST So there is this girl who is in my friendship group and she is friends with my close friend, so we all hang out together. I met her and my other friend through work. She never contacts me though, she only contact my friend. She always texts and rings the other girl but never me. The other day we were all invited to a party, and I was sat talking to a guy and she comes up to me and rolls her eyes and says 'that is so typical of you, you are always talking to people, you did that in your last job.' Then on our way out, someone else starts talking to me, and she repeats 'again, you can't stop talking can you.' Then, later on she said 'where is your jumper from, you look so elegant, I am going to get one the same.' When I first met her, she told me that she wished she was me and that she had my life. In the very beginning when I met her, she would shove and push me into things and roll her eyes at me. The only reason I spend time with her is because she is friends with my close friend. What is her issue with me? |
Question: Friends who want to hang out when it's convenient for them? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 11:12 AM PST This shouldn't be happening...I'm in my 30's. For the past year and half, I've been busy with work and grad school full time. I have a friend who never seemed to understand how busy I was. I would tell her that I would let her know when I would have time and before I could even let her know, she would text me again. We finally met up & after that, she was wanting to schedule something right away. I was going out of town and told her I would let her know again. Now that I have time, I texted her and no response. It's getting irritating bc it seems like its more for convenience. I've noticed that every time she would ask to hang out, I would feel very annoyed. I think bc from her end, she gives off a vibe that isn't genuine.... those who expect you to drop what you're doing to fulfill their needs or ego somehow... |
Question: Why is life so horrible when you have no one to talk with? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 10:30 AM PST |
Question: How to get a life outside of high school? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 10:19 AM PST I hate my HS and I have zero, zilch friends for good reason. I'm the type of person that everybody assumes isn't lonley, but they're mistaken, and I often feel they become dissapointed when they see I sit alone all the time and walk alone in the hallways. Everyday I walk into that school, I think about getting out. To make matters worse, I have social anxiety. How do I get a social life or keep myself busy from school to avoid dreaded thoughts of going back in again? Feedback will be greatly appreciated : ) |
Question: My friend continually says I m not a good friend, is it true? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 05:35 AM PST She continually gets upset at something I do, for ex: if my husband and I don't want to go out, her and her boyfriend take it personally and say that we don't care for them as much as they do. I have never felt that they have really done anything for us, or have been there for us in any way other than wanting to hang out with us. But then it backfires because they get upset over things. It makes me think they have resentment towards us. But I don't know why. It's draining. |
Posted: 20 Dec 2018 02:45 AM PST Does it make sense? |
Question: Can someone be obsessed with a person and scared of them at the same time? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 12:53 AM PST |
Question: Should I stop being friends with her or confront her? Posted: 20 Dec 2018 12:52 AM PST Recently I've been bothered by my best friend. I've recently been diagnosed with BPD and I've been going having a lot of "episodes" due to this and I talked her about it for the first time and now suddenly she's going through the EXACT same things, and seeing doctors for it out of the blue. She also seen me having a bad episode and now she has them. It really hurts me because it feels like my condition is being made fun of and downplayed. It's really insulting. So my question is...should I just stay away from her or confront her? I'm at odds against confronting her because she's an compulsive liar, has been since we were kids so I feel like she would just lie through it yet I feel like I should give her a chance to explain at least. I just want other opinions, thanks. |

Posted: 19 Dec 2018 11:06 PM PST These guys jumped my friend on his own but like 5 minutes before he rang us saying they where trying to rob him so we were already on the way to him.. the bus pulled up at the lights and we see 5 people all fly kicking him and beating him but he was pretty much defending himself well so we pulled the bus door open and ran over there then I punched one of the guys and he went down straight away and just stayed like that.. then i start fighting the friends and they started backing up while my other friend was still beating the boy that did the fly kick then they start shouting that their friend still didn't move and I panicked and sprinted off... the friend who was getting beaten followed me too then our other friend kinda jogged after us after coz he was telling them he wasn't finished but I genuinely thought he was dead till we asked the guys who were watching later on that night... i feel like my friends are thinking I'm stupid coz I was panicking that I killed someone even tho they told me he wasn't dead... am I stupid for thinking this.?? |
Posted: 19 Dec 2018 10:22 PM PST Furthermore why should I be obligated to be in the presence of someone that always hated me and never respected me? |
Question: What should I do about this friend of mine? Posted: 19 Dec 2018 09:02 PM PST Last summer, a good friend whom I've know for several years had a baby with his girlfriend and I haven't seen him since then. We have only occasionally texted. And when we do text, I am always initiating the conversation. We used to hang out quite regularly and now it's never. He even said he would invite me to meet his baby when the time came. Do you think my pal is just busy with the new baby or is he trying to not be in my life anymore. Or do you think maybe he is hiding some major problem? |
Question: I CANT STAND MY FRIEND!!! What should I do? Posted: 19 Dec 2018 08:51 PM PST So I have this close friend and we have been friends for a long time but lately she has just gotten on my nerves and I know not to be mean to her or anything. Basically, she whispers in my ear all the time and I feel like it makes me look like I'm gossiping and I'm not trying to. She makes me feel really dumb sometimes and she ALWAYS has to be right. Nothing is her fault at all! She will always say, "I told you!" Or "I have good advice you never listen to me!". We always have to go where she wants to go like she can't do ANYTHING on her own because she "feels awkward" doing things alone such as going to the drinking fountain or something like that. She is also super jealous and when I talk to another friend for one second and she isnt included in the convo it means I'm trying to leave her out?!?! I love her and appreciate her dedication but sometimes I don't know what to do about this girl. Please help! |
Question: How to End a Friendship? Posted: 19 Dec 2018 07:59 PM PST So... I've been friends with this girl for three years and I kind of only was friends with her because she kept asking me to come over to her house and I thought it was rude to say no. So, I'd spend hours at her house, doing things I didn't want to do and having the energy slowly drained out of me. Over time, I started making excuses as to why I couldn't come over, but she's catching on and is upset that I never want to hang out with her anymore. The thing is, I didn't want to hang out with her to begin with, or hang out with anyone, really. I just honestly want to sit in my room for the rest of my life and wait for death. I do realize I'm not a good person because of this, but in the end I can't bring myself to care. I don't want to hang out with this girl anymore. Can someone please tell me how to handle this? |
Question: I feel like I’m the only one who tries in friendships? Posted: 19 Dec 2018 07:54 PM PST I'm in boarding school now and I've made a few new and good friends (but not the close kind like we share all our secrets), I'm quite content with my new life and its nice. I only went to boarding school because I wanted a new life and cause I feel like such an outcast and loser in my old school. I had a few close-ish friends in my old school and I do want to keep in contact but I feel like I'm the only one who tries? I'm always there to support them when they need help and push my work away to talk to them, I remember all their bdays and give them gifts, I always text them first and when I jokingly say "hahah call me soon!" or "Let's hang out soon!" They never do or ask me until I ask them. They aren't bad friends, we always joke around and I never get awkward with them when they hangout, but they never initiate it. The part where it really hurts is when all my old friends forgot my bday. All my new friends texted me and stuff but NOTHING from my all friends. It just really hurts sometimes because they don't seem to mind that I'm not in my old school anymore, like nothing even happened, its like I never existed. |
Question: What should I do if I’m unhappy? Posted: 19 Dec 2018 07:41 PM PST I feel so depressed lately since I left my old friends and moved. I don't have any friends here around my age and I feel alone. The place I live has not much to do and going in social media makes me even more depressed . I need help? What should I do? |
Question: What does it mean if an old friend adds you out of the blue? Posted: 19 Dec 2018 07:15 PM PST Someone I went to high school with but haven't spoken to for a couple of years added me on Snapchat. We're facebook friends but we don't talk on there and I'm not sure if they use it. They added me on snap via quick add so they didn't look me up. Do you think this means anything? |
Question: Is my friend overreacting? Posted: 19 Dec 2018 06:58 PM PST I was at a youth group Christmas party over at her house and I finished the movie we were watching and then I had to go. Said friend was out in a different room talking with some other people. I didn't want to disturb their conversation (aka didn't want to people), so quietly went to the front door, put on my shoes, and walked out without saying anything. She texted my the next day and was saying "wth! How could you just walk out without saying anything like that? I was so f*cking worried about you!" And now she's super pissed at me, even though I said that I was sorry that I scared her. Is she just being over dramatic or was I being an ******? |
Question: Should I have let her stay with me? Posted: 19 Dec 2018 06:56 PM PST I was at a party and the host ask me to drive Jane home as she was too drunk to drive. I agreed as I did not want her in a car accident. The host said I will call her husband and tell him you are bringing her home. When I got to her house, her husband met me a the door and would not let his wife come in the house. He said "She is not coming in this house until she sobers up". OH CRAP. What am I going to do? I can't leave her there drunk on her door step. I called the party host and ask her what I should do. She said to take her to your home and take her to her house in the morning when she was sober. I was not comfortable having a married woman sleep at my house over night. I was afraid of what her husband might do. He also seemed to me to be drunk but I didn't know what else to do so I took her home. The next morning she wanted to know how she ended up at my house and I told her. She was outraged. She said "I am not going back and live with that S.O.B. of a husband". Can I stay with you until I can find a place to stay. I told her no but I would help her find a place to stay. I was afraid of what her husband might do and/or I would get involved in a divorce case. Please tell me if I did the right thing here. Should I have let her stay with me? |
Question: How do i tell my friend that depressed? Posted: 19 Dec 2018 06:55 PM PST |
Question: You guys i had another wrird dream. And this time my friend got badly injured.? Posted: 19 Dec 2018 06:28 PM PST In my dream, me and a few of my guy friends were in this room, surrounding this strength meter. You would have to hit it with a tennis racket anf the more points got got the further it would light up (obviously). This one kid comes up and says "let me show you how its done." Mind you that everyone except for this kid was right handed, so to avoid the swings, people crowded the left. This kid walks up and before we have any time to think, he swings and hits my friend in the head SUPER HARD at the temples. He starts crying and i run over telling him everythings okay, meanwhile everyone stands still like mannequins surrounding us lifeless. I'm screaming for help while holding him up. Im crying too. Then i wake up terrified. What does this mean?! |
Question: I feel excluded from my friends? Posted: 19 Dec 2018 06:15 PM PST I'm a gril but my coworkers are male and they play this game called measure our junk and I really want to play but they said girls can't play and I am really sad cause I wanna measure stuff too! What can I do to be included on activities like that? |
