I wrote a card to a female friend, who I have known for 20+ years. We have been good friends. I signed off the greeting card with the word 'Love'. Now think about it, is it proper for woman to woman address like this? I do not mean any romantic feelings. Just sincere best wishes. Now I am afraid she might have misunderstood it and taken offense. Did I think too much?

My best friend of two years has recently really been pushing me to go meet his cousin who lives in Iran. Me and his cousin have talked and he offered to pay my ticket for to come. He wants to meet in turkey and get to know eachother better. But after reading all the headlines I'm really afraid.

If my two wanna be bestfriends (wanna be because they actually never were, nor are, nor will be my bestfriends nor friends because they're not physically kind to myself nor characterly I'm taller then them and I didn't graduate highschool unlike them) both decided to quit trying to be my bestfriend and told me to not visit their house or else they'd call the police on me, earlier these past 2 or more years but one of them left their belt at my house without my permission nor my guardians permission, what should I do to the belt because I was told to never try to communicate nor show myself to them nor their friends nor bestfriends nor family again for forever because they're scared of me?

I'm losing patience with my flaky friend because she makes me feel bad all the time by promising to do things and then bailing at the last minute, or promising to hang out one day and then not responding to calls/texts. She is going through a lot right now- she has family problems, relationship problems, and isn't doing well in school. We've been friends for a decade, so my love and acceptance for her runs deep. I met her at age 10 and we are 20 and in college now. However, it is endlessly frustrating. I know she is depressed right now but I still think it's rude to propose hanging out and then ignore the person's calls all day, or to say you will do something and bail at the last minute. She shouldn't be proposing plans or making promises if she can't keep them. In my opinion she should simply be honest and say that there's no possibility of it because she's not feeling well. My patience with her has really run thin. Most recently, she bailed on plans last week and then keeps telling me she will come to my birthday party but then on more probing admits that she will "probably not, but still probably can" and just won't commit. I know she probably won't- I will be shocked if she does- but the wishy washiness and the fact she won't even do a favor for me, one of her oldest friends, on my birthday, makes me think that her friendship isn't worth it. I have confronted her, and she just makes excuses. Do i need to be more understanding? Or should I let this friendship go?

My friend and I are currently roommates and we live in an upperclassman dorm, so basically an apartment on campus. She's so spaced out all the time that it affects our living situation. The little things are affecting our friendship, like she'll throw away the toilet paper roll, but she won't replace it, she doesn't wrap her bloody pads, she keeps putting ****-stained and/or bloody wipes in the trash can w/o wrapping them, she never leaves the room, she doesn't buy her own hand soap or toiletries but yet, she goes shopping frequently, she gets mad when people don't wash their dishes or leave the counters dirty, yet she does the same thing. She kept putting her dirty clothes on top of my towel and my rack, when she has her own. I talked to her TWICE about that and she didn't get it, so I moved her towel and she got mad at me. She's inconsiderate when entering the room when I'm sleeping, she also doesn't clean anything. I like her as a friend, but I HATE having her as a roommate. Whenever I talk to her about issues we're having, it'll go through one ear and out the other. She doesn't comprehend things unless I treat her the same way she treats me, and I'm sick of doing that. I'm honestly starting to resent her. *When she was younger, she had cancer and her parents did everything for her, so I don't know if that has something to do with it.

I'm a late bloomer and feel so pathetic and bad about myself because everyone else has their friend groups.

I was texting joking sending memes. I then sent a meme about drinking to get over mental health issues. He kind of immediately texted back like that's not the case and ended it with lol. I then apologized but he didnt answer back so I just said sent some stupid memes about my self to see if that would make it better. I panicked and called him ( he does not like phone calls). He didnt answer. I just waited and sent me back a message showing he acknowledged what I texted him. Then I got mad telling him I was really fustrated cause i thought he was mad. And i never get to talk to him in person to iron things out. Figure out what's what. He just kind of brushed me off and said he understood. I just kept going saying how am I supposed to know if I dont see you ??. He now hasnt said anything in 4 days. Though I can see hes read everything. I all already apologized like three times, I apologized after I went off on him. I said I was sorry but I didn't know how to fix this, then apologized again because I was mad. then apologized again yesterday, I asked him was he mad I wanted to talk in person. He read that message like a hour after I sent it. He could be just busy though He apologized when I went off on him lol, we are both people pleasers lol. I'm pretty sure even when I got mad at him I was apologizing while I was going off on him.

I moved away 7 months ago and my best friend still hasn't came to visit. I moved 2 hours away and she still hasn't came visit or anything. She always makes an excuse about our work schedules but we are both off every Sunday and every holiday. We are also blessed enough to have jobs that are flexible with taking off. She expects for me to travel to her when she wants to see me and hang out. I understand that I'm 23 and single with no kids and she's 28 and married with a kid but that's not really an excuse when she drops everything and travel 2 hours or more if her husband tells her to. She makes it like her coming see me is an inconvenience to her life but the moment I'm in town and make plans with other people, she's upset. I love my friend but moving away has made me feel like this friendship is not 50/50 because if the shoe was on the other foot, she would never forgive me for never coming visit her. Am I wrong? Is this normal? What should I do?

I have a friend she told me she was abused by her parents she is 20 she told me she told me she moved to Another state to start a new life and she needed help financially i helped paid for her apartment and food many times but she keeps asking and asking like i do want to help but i cant pay for her my whole life she does have a job but she says it doesn't pay enough i told her she can get help from the government i even showed her financial help for low income people and runaways she said they were all the same and would not help but they weren't all the same i would think if she really needed help she would look more into this government aid help i even suggested maybe try working a side job to help bring in more money she got mad at me and told me nobody understands her situation i was just trying to help her better herself so do i keep giving her money?

's my ex i broke up with him a few months back because we got into an argument and he was acting passive aggressive. Because there were guys at the gym that liked me he suspected i'm going there to talk to them when one morning I decided to go to the gym to workout. He got suspicious saying you didn't ask me to come so another time i asked but he was working and I brought up the last argument saying exactly so why'd you get upset when I didn't ask last time when you were working. He also is suspicious because one time at the library i met a guy studying medicine like me and we went to grab food because we were hungry and i didn't tell him because i thought he'd get jealous for no reason but when he asked i told him finally and get upset which is why the suspicions from the gym I said i was done with his attitude he said theres no attitude if you're done okay i wish you the best.Anyway fast forward 4 months He always comes to the gym at same time I am and he always comes to yoga when he stopped coming when we were dating and he'd workout instead while i did yoga. Now he always comes to yoga and he'll text me here an there. The other day after yoga he texted me saying "why'd you look so mad today, I was going to say hi but you didn't look very welcoming" and stuff like this, and yesterday we were at the gym and they don't give out free towel but selling them instead. He said he was going to buy a towel and if I wanted one i said no but he came back with 2 and gave me one too. We are good friends from work and ive known her for the past year. Recently 2 other people have told me Jenny looks like she likes me more than a friend.
