My girlfriend keeps several pictures of her Dad in our bedroom and kitchen. He died a few years ago but he also raped her as a young girl and effectively ruined her life. I was at the grocery store with my bf and his father. His father grabbed my hand and said "come here" and just dragged me along in the aisle(I was walking behind them and i guess he did not want me to walk behind them), and ofc my boyfriend did not notice anything as he had turned around to look at something, so he could not say anything to his father.
