Question: In regard to relationships what does the quote "Happiness is peace, not pleasure" mean? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 08:09 PM PST |
Question: Do you think I just shouldn't do anything about this situation? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 08:06 PM PST I've known a girl online for about 10 years. I first talked to her when I was 15 and I'm 25 now. I'm pretty sure she just sees me as a guy she can use and doesn't care about me at all. However, when I removed her on social media she acted really upset and called me like 100 times. Then she jokes around about how she knows where I live and stuff like that and about how I'm never going to leave her. What do you think? What's weird is I feel like she talks to me a lot less so I don't understand why she acts like she cares a lot. We both know each other really well because we've video chatted a lot and we'be shown each other were we live. |
Question: Ex sends me really sweet texts? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 08:05 PM PST My ex and I broke up about a month ago and it was a bad breakup. We were both angry and fought even after we broke up. About oncecot twice a week, though, he will send me really sweet texts telling me how special, beautiful I am, how my smile can light up any room, etc. He has even texted my mom telling her how much he misses me and asks her to give me a hug for him. I usually respond with a thank you, but not usually right away. He has left me voicemails crying saying he loves me and wants me to be happy. The question is, today he sent me a nice text and I responded saying thank you and that I had been wanting to reach out to him but didn't know if it would be welcome or not. He never responded. Could he already be seeing someone new? Would he be talking to me and my family like that if he were dating someone else, and that quickly? My biggest fear is that he is, and if he is, then he needs to stop talking to me like that. It's nice but if I was out with a guy and found out he was texting his ex like that, I'd be gone. We dated for almost three years and I miss him like crazy. |

Posted: 29 Dec 2018 07:42 PM PST the really attractive women. @supreme I know one can be both, I guess I was referring to the stereotypical jock bro guy vs. the geeky guy into arts and sciences |
Question: Why are strippers stupid? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 07:41 PM PST I go out looking for a girl to "dance" with, and try to have a conversation..art, science, climate change, music, fashion. They ALL seem to know nothing. their idea of high cuisine is a whopper in CO springs. Don't they realize men need intelligent women? |
Question: Two of my co-workers treat each other like mother and daughter? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 07:40 PM PST The is a 49 year old woman and a much younger 24 year old girl who treat each other like mother and daughter at my work. I know the the older woman dated her father when she was young and they did until she was a teen. The older woman stayed in the 24 year old's life and she helped the older one get the job. They younger one well say stuff like, "hey mamma, what's up," and kiss her on the cheek. One time we were decorating the office for Christmas and the younger one was on a latter and almost fall and the older one said, "your nickname might be butterfly but you cant fly, Hon" She said "im fully aware of this mamma" The other woman hit her arm and said, "don't be gettin' smart with me young lady" When I confronted her about it she said that I have no right to judge her relationship between them. I don't know why but it seems wrong. She should be calling her real mother mamma instead of by her first name, not some strange old woman. How do I confront her about this again because I can tell it is bugging other people even if they are too afraid to say anything. |

Question: Why my coworker always has bruises? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 07:27 PM PST I work as a special education teacher assistant and the primary teacher in the classroom always comes to school with new bruises, mostly on his wrists and arms. He always says he loves to be outside but is also extremely clumsy and falls all of the time. I don't buy it. This man is not clumsy in the slightest. I don't know what's going on but he does have a girlfriend and I have a fishy feeling about her. I don't know what it is. Just a way she looks at him is gives me the creeps. I have a bad felling he is being abused, but I don't want to make him feel uncomfortable. What do I do? |
Question: Should I choose the new guy over my ex? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 07:20 PM PST So basically I broke up with my ex after 2 months in spain but it had been coming for a while. We basically moved in together when we turned 18 and became possessive of each other so much so I couldn t make new friends because we were so reliant on eachother. After we broke up I made so many new friends who I have lasting relationships with. I have also heard from family and friends that I seem much happier. I recently started hanging out with him again after 4 months and feel a bit pressured to get back. He is not pressuring me but his changed personality and attitude pulls me in. I decided to give it a chance but a part of me makes me feel like I m making a mistake. This is because I met a new guy who is totally sweet. The only downfall is he lives in another city that s 4 hours from me. Hes funny, sweet, and makes me feel very secure. He has even mentioned taking me out of the country on vacation and he loves to hear about my outings with friends. He says he is serious about me and I have this strange unspoken connection with him almost like I ve known him for years. The downfall is that I ve only known him for about 2 months and we only spent 2 weeks in person. I know that of I choose one at the moment I must let go of the other but I feel so confused. Should I choose my ex who I know well and we reconnected well or should I choose someone new who I had a instant connection? I know either way I will regret aspects of each choice but which one is the better of the two? |
Question: My Friend is Trying to Make My Boyfriend Look Bad? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 07:19 PM PST My boyfriend and I have known each other for years, but just recently started dating (two months ago). His best friend is also a close friend of mine, and his friend just admitted to having feelings for me. Whenever we hang out I can feel the tension, and my friend is trying to make my boyfriend look bad. He is always sending me messages telling me about everything my boyfriend is doing that could get him into trouble, and is even going as far as sending me screenshots of their conversations. Most of the things he tells me about are things that my boyfriend already spoke to me about, hanging out with other girls, things like that. Our friend acts so nice face to face, but im starting to think that he is not who he seems to be. I don t know what to do, any advice? He always tries to make it seem like he is trying to help me out when he tells me about stuff my boyfriend is doing, which is why it is hard for me to tell him to stop. |

Question: Ex-boyfriend in an abusive relationship? What can I do to help? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 07:02 PM PST So I had a boyfriend 4 years ago and after the breakup, we remained really good friends. This guy and I did not date for a long time and we never had the chance to go on dates and do "couples things". About a year and a half ago, he got a new girlfriend. I was happy for him, but I soon realised I shouldn't because of the way she treats him. Last year, she would always get upset when he talked to me and proceeded to yell at him in public for it. She yelled at him one time earlier this year because he dated me and this other girl before her. She yelled at him one time recently so much that he arrived at this event red-eyed because he had just spent the last ten minutes crying. Recently, I was with a group of friends in Kroger and they were there and he walked over to talk to us, but she yelled at him from across the registers that he needed to go with her. She gets mad at him for petty things and I heard a rumour that she even beat him because they had (consensual) sex without protection and he could've gotten her pregnant. I would have said something to him sooner, but here's my problem: I don't want him to think that I'm trying to break him and his girlfriend up. I think deep-down I still like him, but that's not why I want to talk to him. I want to talk to him because it breaks my heart to see him be treated this way and that he doesn't realise how awful she treats him. Would talking to him one-on-one be a good approach, or is there a better way to go about this? |

Question: Will my ex ever get his karma? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 07:02 PM PST During our relationship, whenever I did something wrong I always apologized and tried to mend things. He just finished uni with an A average and is looking for a job, hes super handsome, his parents spoil him and he's never wrong in their eyes, his friends and strangers all love him and treat him so nice. His life is perfect, while mine was the opposite. I'm dumb and lazy and average looking, I think i'm ugly. Although he did change alot, he always did things that made me paranoid. Like if guys flirt with me on my phone, he would tell me to block them, and which I did. But when a girl was clearly flirting with him through text, he would say she's not flirting and won't block her. He would say hi to his female friends on fb, and I knew they had feelings for eachother before cuz I met one of them. His friends and mom hates me because they think i'm a horrible person, he tells them how horrible I am. We both flirted with people in the beginning, trying to move on. But his mom and best friend knew he flirted with people and still yelled at me and he got nothing for it. Everything seemed so unfair and why is his life so perfect and mine so bad? He also called all of his exes crazy. |
Question: What is the difference between a guy noticing a woman and staring at her? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 07:02 PM PST Someone is trying put it in the same contents but i know Its not. So, what is the difference in noticing a woman and looking at her and completely stopping in your tracks and just STARING for almost 2 whole minutes. NO it is NOT ABOUT MYSELF. Just a debate between the 2. The mind set has to be different, to notice n look is normal but completely coming to a DEAD STOP to stare is not the same and deeper thoughts are obviously going on. Think this person is just trying defend it because he was explaining to his girlfriend. So its bs |
Question: What honestly makes a man want to get back into a relationship with their ex? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 06:54 PM PST It's been a while since we've broken up. Either way I'd be fine with or without him in my life.. although I will say I do miss him from time to time. Just genuinely curious about what exactly makes guys come back from different perspectives. |

I really want to say I love her but like I said I don't know her all that much but this is the strongest I've felt about someone ever. It's been over a year and I still feel the same way about her but it's never going to be anyways. I just want to know if this could possibly be my first love? |
Question: **** buddy is leaving soon? And he’s acting weird? Posted: 29 Dec 2018 05:51 PM PST My friends w/ benefits is leaving for boot camp in two weeks. The other day while having sex he stops looks at me and asked me "are you going to have sex with someone else while I'm gone?" And i looked at him puzzled , and he said "The reason I've been trying to have sex withyou so much lately is because the sex we have had to last me through boot camp i won't be getting any so I'm trying to cherish the sex I'm having now" then he says "I'll be home for awhile i know you're not going to wait for me" i looked at him again and said "what makes you think I'll have sex with someone else?" And he said "well if you're in the mood and I'm not here you're not going to wait until boot camp is over " and i said "you're delusional" then he said "you're going to f*ck somebody else" and i said "first of all i don't need sex and plus i can't have sex with just anybody" then he asked "why, because you don't want a std?" And i said "yeah but it's more to it" and he says " more to it like what?" so i explained to him why then he said "well i know you're not going to wait for me" ... like why does it matter when you're going to be gone anyways? |

They don't get alone at all and I have to hear about it If we have a disagreement he automatically thinks my reaction is going to be the same as his child mother was when he was involved with her. We are totally two different ppl, I've asked him several times is he over chick or she hurt him. Dude claims no but I honestly don't won't to hear about his past issues |
