Posted: 15 Dec 2018 05:18 PM PST He posted a picture of a piece of bread with about 50 comments saying typo variations of "brain blast." Is he ok? I asked and he of course replied with "brain blast." Thank you all for your time |
Question: Is platonic love better than romantic love? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 04:22 PM PST I mean most romantic couples do end in break ups/divorces, while most platonic friends remain friends until the very end. Also most people tend to be feel more relax and comfortable around their platonic friends than they do around their romantic partner. So people need to just accept the fact that platonic love is a lot better than romantic love is. |
Question: My friend was raped (read desc)? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 03:34 PM PST my friend was raped by her best friend now im her best friend and she scared to go to my house in the fear that i wikl do the same, i would never do this and i need help to figure what to do |
Posted: 15 Dec 2018 03:21 PM PST This is kind of annoying to me because I am financially struggling , I don't have a job , I have been on my feet somewhat on a search for a job before but I can never get it easy like most people can who get there jobs easily , I understand everything is a process but some people literally get a job in a heartbeat it's not fair to me , the important part of this question is why do people say they can get what they want in your face several times in a conversation? And some of these people say there your friend ? Are people saying there better than you? What are they trying to say? |
Question: Best friend moving away? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 03:10 PM PST Hi yall, I don't know what to do. My best friend is probably the only reason I'm still alive and shes moving away soon. I have no idea what to do and everything just gets darker ever day. |
Posted: 15 Dec 2018 02:46 PM PST When me (I'm a male) and my best friend (who's a woman) were living in a apartment together, we would always change our clothes in front of each other, and thus we would see each other naked all the time. We didn't see each other as anything sexual at all, and so that's why we were so comfortable being naked around each other. But when my best friend got a boyfriend, that all changed. He didn't like the fact we were getting naked and changing clothes in front of each other, so he asked her to stop (which she did). It makes me mad that he got so mad over me and his girlfriend changing clothes and being naked around each other, since he should've known by now that my and his girlfriend's relationship was completely platonic. My best friend eventually moved out my apartment and into her boyfriend's apartment. But it still makes me mad that her boyfriend got so mad over what me and his girlfriend did, it wasn't really that big of a deal. |
Question: Who’s right in this situation? Me or my friend? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 02:45 PM PST So recently I referred my friend to my job and she got the job. After 1day of work she txts me and says it's not for her and she just isn't going to work anymore.I told her it was fine and I ask her to please at least call so i don't look bad. No response and she's clearly ignoring me based on the fact that she posted on her instagram story, so i txt her again question marks and she finally says yes.Let's also note this particular friend has been treating me pretty shitty the past few months and honestly our whole friendship she goes from being my friend to not txting me back but hanging out with other ppl.Afew days go by and I see her post an add on facebook for this dog waking app and i just click to see her profile, i notice she had two of her friends who I also know post reviews for her, most likely fake bc you shouldn't have to ask for good reviews to make yourself look good. Two days ago i txted her explaining why i'm upset and how i thought it was wrong of her to have fake reviews and be lazy and lie to make money when I helped her get a job and she didn't even think about how bad it'd make me look that she quit after one day and didn't even call them.I basically told her she was acting really phony and fake and i don't **** with it.She proceeds to tell me that I did the same thing to her when i used to work at a place she referred me to for 3 months until they fired me because I left work at my scheduled time and they were forcing me to be late to a prior commitment |

Question: All my friends hate each other what do I do? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 02:18 PM PST My friends hate each other and as much as I've tried to get them to like each other they won't. They each get mad whevever i talk or hand out with the others and try to get back at me. They're always talking **** about each other and whenever I try to defend one of them the other goes crazy. I usually just try to stay quiet and not engage in any of the stuff they say about each other but i feel so bad about it and At the same time I don't want to take sides |
Question: Is it bad if i don’t have a core friend group? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 02:11 PM PST i sit with around 6 girls at school but am only close with 2-3 of them. no one is as close with each other as others are in the group and we never do anything all together. eg. one girl might have a sleepover with the girls she closest with and not invite the others etc. it kind of annoys me when i don't get invited sometimes. i have other friends in other groups but i was wondering if it's bad i don't feel like i belong in the group?? |
Question: Is this sexual assault ? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 02:08 PM PST I went back to this guys house and his friend was there (never met either of them before) and I was lying in his bed trying to sleep when his friend came and lay next to me and started caressing my thigh and stroking it. I didn't know what to do so i just tried to ignore it and pretended like it wasn't happening but I was really really uncomfortable. His friend definitely knew I wasn't into him |
Question: Did our friendship end????? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 02:07 PM PST My name is Eric and I work with this girl Megan, we don't work together but we work on the same floor. I only see her twice a week, me and Megan are really good friends we really enjoy each other's company at work. we always make each other laugh and we always have something to talk about. But a lot of coworkers think our friendship is weird because I'm 23 and she's 34. One of my coworkers wrote a long report to my supervisor saying that I'm always talking to Megan my entire shift (when that's not true).... eventually my manager began spying on me on my floor to make sure I was doing my work. They opened up a dumb investigation and eventually I had a meeting with my boss, and other people from head office. They told me that I need to step away from Megan because our friendship is causing too much drama on our floor. I told Megan about what my manager said and she got angry. Megan told me that if this whole situation escalates she will always have my back, but she doesn't want me getting in trouble anymore. she has even lied to my manager so that I don't get in trouble, but on Monday she send me a Facebook message saying that management wanted to talk to her later that day. I noticed that once her meeting was over she deleted me from her Facebook. I was expecting her to tell me how her meeting went and I couldn't confront her work because we're not allowed to talk. Today one of my friends saw her at work in the cafeteria today, and he told me that she looked very sad. Why did she delete me? |
Question: My friend is always getting into trouble? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 02:04 PM PST I have a friend that's always getting himself into trouble. The thing I don't understand is he doesn't learn from his mistakes. Ever other month or so he ends up getting a black eye or a busted lip from starting problems with people and then he acts like the victim. It's either he runs his mouth to some one online or he will run his mouth to someone when he know they can't do anything at the moment but they always end up catching up to him at a different time and he gets his *** whopped. He does this all the time It's not even that he will do dumb **** that has to do with the law. Like for example he got a dui last year so he can't legally drive. The thing is he still does but he's not even careful about it. He drives a car thats past inspection, drives like a maniac and speeds all the time, and sometimes has an open beer in the car all at the same time. It's like what the hell is wrong with him. I just don't understand how someone can't learn from their mistakes |
Question: Are they bad friends? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 01:38 PM PST Me and my bestfriend recently stopped being friends (over something dumb and she turned out to be toxic anyways) and I have these two friends . Friend A used to sit next to me and she was kinda my bestfriend too but she moved to where the girl I stopped being friends with moved . She always complains bout how nobody cares and I like to check up on her often . She's very sensitive . She's not often busy . Friend B is a busy girl who likes horse Rodin get and sits where the other girls sit but she always sat there . Now in that lesson I am all alone and friend A and B say they are still my friend but rarely talk to me . They always hang out with her and despite says nobody sided with anybody yet it doesn't feel that way . I've not went to school for a week now and none of them have even asked if I'm okay or anything and I honestly feel like despite what they say they don't care and have sided with her because their actions portray that . Do you think they are really my friends considering they don't ever check up on me and now I've been away for a week without telling anyone they haven't texted me . They've both been free enough to post on their social media? Help me what do I really do? |
Question: What would you do in this situation? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 12:55 PM PST So our company is doing a holiday round-up program for the month of December. Basically, the cashier tells the customer their total and gives them the option to round up for the local childrens hospital. I had a customer the other day whose total was around $229.89. The transaction kinda went like this (Customer swipes card) Me: "Your total is $229.93. Would you like to round up to 230 to help our local children's hospital?" Customer: "No" ( yes or no option was on card machine screen only, I verified that with the customer) She accidental pressed yes apparently and didn't realize till the receipt printed. Customer: "Wait, I meant to say no, not yes. Why did it charge me? I demand my 7 cents back" She then immediately snagged the Children's Miracle Network jar (a completely different childrens hospital) and quickly pulled 7 cents out, and walked out. Wow I was wondering what you would do if you were the cashier in that sutation. Seriously. |
Question: I don't want there to be a "New Earth"--shouldn't I look forward to it? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 12:43 PM PST I'm a Christian convert. I know I should look forward to the "New Earth" but I don't. In some way, I feel like like would be...well, boring if everything were perfect. And we won't be able to do the fun (albeit superficial) things we enjoy doing now: shopping, going out to lunch, going for a drive, calling our friends, etc. Would we even have careers anymore? For instance, I'm a writer. A world (even without disease) without writing sucks, to be honest. Will we lose the desire to do the same things we like doing now, and just be content without them? Christians only, please--no atheists with comments like "stop believing in a fairy tale". |
Question: Is this still considered cheating? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 12:18 PM PST If a guy is married and yet flirt with women outside but did not have sex , but he went oral on the woman and the woman went oral with him also. They went hotel and did those but no sex involved. Is this still considered as cheating or don't love Wife anymore? Why can't he do this to his Wife instead of finding other woman? Unless Wife is not doing anything? |
Question: How do I tell my friend I don't want to have a sleep over? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 11:53 AM PST I'm 14 and I have a really good friend and she constantly asks me to come to her house for a sleep over. I hate being at someone's house for longer than a few hours, so I always have to make some sort of excuse to get out of it. The guilt is killing me and i'm so tired of lying to her. How do I just tell her that I don't want to have a sleep over? I feel like such an AWFUL friend. |
Question: Is this relationship weird/legal??? (16y/o and 30-something)? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 11:32 AM PST My 16y/o friend recently met someone (who we first thought was a 16y/o girl) online. Long story short, he was being catfished and its actually some guy well into his 30s. After being an emotional wreck he and this guy are now on talking terms and quote "worked it out" and they are "friends". Even tho his parents made is extremely clear that he was supposed to stay away or they'd involve the cops. but as far as either of them are saying, they're just friends and its "not like that" anyway so the cops wont do anything. My friend has been sneaking around behind his parents back and going to "hang out" with this dude. they've been to the movies, arcade, shopping and sometimes just play video games in the guys apartment. Anyway, i feel like the whole situation is weird. he thinks I'm just jealous that the guy is his friend and not mine, which isnt true bc he creeps me out anyway and tries to act younger and cooler than he actually is. Even though its not like a pedo-thing and the arent hooking up. Isnt this relationship a bit weird or is it even legal??? |
Question: Why can't they do the same for me? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 11:29 AM PST When my ex-bestfriend and high school friends pop up in friend suggestions/people you may know i just ignore them. Why can't they do the same for me? |

Question: Do you think my best friend's boyfriend was a jerk? Question: How to approach the girl I like? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 08:53 AM PST I am a girl who likes another girl from my school. She is a grade younger than me and I don't have any classes with her (except lunch!) Even though we don't interact much, she is a nice girl who I would like to know better. I also think she's straight but I'm still interested in being a friend of hers. Any advice? |
Question: Birthday with no friends? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 08:39 AM PST I am turning 20 in two weeks. All of my friends are: A) Out of state or B) Busy in some other way during this holiday season, until January. It doesn't help much that my birthday is the weekend before New Year's. I have not planned anything, and have even debated just not having a big celebration this year. Usually, I go out to eat and think of something else on the spot but this year, I don't even know who'd accompany me at the restaurant. I have about ten friends who are close enough to invite, six of which are out of town visiting family. Two already have plans set in stone around that time, and the other two are simply not on good terms with each other. It's a mess. Should I just not do anything? I have acquaintances, too, but I feel it would be pretty awkward to invite them. What do you guys think? |
Posted: 15 Dec 2018 07:09 AM PST so i'm friends with this girl from 7th grade i am currently in high school (i am a girl i'm straight) and i have a lot to say so please stay with me i get happy when i talk to her and stuff we never hung out outside of school but we had this bond in 7th grade and i'm in freshman year and she is in my class. she will look at me from across the room and we joke from across the room about an inside joke all the way from 7th grade and i send her snaps every once in a while but she never opens them until 2 weeks later but she will not open my snap and send streaks to me though even when she doesn't open them but i'm thinking it's because i send her something so i'm back at the top of the chart for her to accidentally send it to me. i'm just confused because most of the conversations we have is starting when i talk to her and i'm just confused are we friends or not because she will be my friend one day and then not talk to me at all another. i only have health class with her and im scared when the marking period ends and when we have gym we will never talk again but i feel like we could be best friends if we just talked more i don't know how to get it to the bond since 7th grade should i leave her or try to keep fighting she's the person that made me feel "special" and just left me in the dust and is coming back. what do i do i'm a teen i'm not sure if i'm over analyzing everything someone just help me please |
Question: Teen who feels like ending her life soon? I want to live tho? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 05:54 AM PST I feel like my goofy personality has been held back for so long now. I never go to parties, barely hang out. Not an introvert just a average girl who likes clothes and doing her hair. I live in the UK and this is my last year of secondary school, I'm not worried about making friends in college because I know I'll have an excellent time. I'm just worried about if they won't be lifelong friends and I don't want people asking me about my past because I've actuqlly had a **** past. The people that I hang out with NEVER do ANYTHING. And two of them seem perfectly fine with not doing anything social and it worries me. I've lost a few friends this year and it really does upset me. For college as I said I'm worried if people expect me to have all this experience and funny stories from the past bc i literally don't have any. THIS **** IS GONNA RUIN MY LIFE FORVEVER. So any advice from an adult or... |

Question: Is my coworker taking advantage of me? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 12:26 AM PST There's this guy I work with. Hes cool but I feel that he takes advantage of me. He's always asking for money, he wants me to take his garbage out, he uses my phone charger without asking and it gets annoying after a while. When we first met, he did pay me back. Even though we all got paid today, I ended up buying him and another coworker a 20 oz.pepsi. Not too long ago, as I was about to fill up my mop bucket, he comes in and say "hey hold on, let me fill mine up first." He already had some in his mop bucket. I can tell hes a good dude but Im starting to feel uncomfortable with him taking advantage of me. Is he taking advantage of me or am I just reading too much into it? |
Question: WILL I COUGH first time smoking weed? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 10:34 PM PST Will i cough my first time smoking weed if i've smoked cigs before? like will smoking cigs make me less succeptible to coughing like a maniac when i smoke weed? |
Question: How do I make amends with a girl who thinks I'm rude? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 10:11 PM PST A girl I work/go to school with thinks I am rude, I overheard her say this to one of her friends when they walked past me in the lunchroom. I have social anxiety and because of this, I can be abrupt and short with people. I don't do it to be rude, in fact, in one on one situations, I consider myself a very sweet person, but I struggle in social situations and my brain doesn't always process how I'm coming off to people. The other day at work the girl asked me a question and when I answered her face became visibly angry/annoyed. Without even thinking, I guess I came off as rude again. I really want this girl to know I'm not a jerk but I don't know how to approach her. |
Question: Is this a bad thing?!? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 09:51 PM PST I ran into one of my guy friends out and about last night and he gave me a hug and said "Hey, sit down with me while I wait on my friends." So I sat down next to him and he put his hand on my thigh. That's one of my weak spots and I could feel myself tense up. He asked me what was wrong and I just laughed and said "oh, nothing." He started rubbing his hand across my leg and said "are you sure?" Whenever his friends arrived, they sat down with us and he kept rubbing my leg under the table. I grabbed his hand and he whispered in my ear "oh I know exactly how to get to you." His touch was turning me on and I couldn't control myself. We left to go to another bar and I ended up making out with him and he slid his hand under my skirt and grabbed my butt. I feel really ashamed of myself but in the moment, it felt so good. Did I do something really bad?! |
Question: Why do people make fun of me? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 08:28 PM PST My (ex) best friend called me a fat pig at lunch today, my sister tells me I'm like the Michelin Man, and everyone else hates me. What have I done to cause this? |
Question: I might get into a fight with my friend, Help? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 08:11 PM PST Ok so, my two friends are in a fight with eachother, one keeps saying he s gonna jump the other, along with me (Friend A) and the other is just staying away from us (Friend B). Question: Should I sneak out to go to a New Years' Eve party? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 07:37 PM PST I was inviting to go to a NYE party this year, which has never happened before. But, I can't go because my parents won't let me since the friend of mine has a dog. I'm extremely allergic to dogs to the point of getting Bronchitis or Pneumonia if I'm not treated by a doctor. I also have Basketball practice after break. BUT If I don't go, I have to third wheel my parents' wedding anniversary, most likely go to bed at like ten and go through severe FOMO. Should I sneak out or stay home? |
Question: Anyone want to be my friend? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 06:46 PM PST |
Question: Why does this hurt so much? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 06:35 PM PST In the past 5 years I lived in 3 different cities and two states... the place where I felt most comfortable and happy living was where I lived 3yrs ago. All my friends were there I had a tight nit community with love and I basically knew everyone. Since then I moved from different places going to different schools to now being completely on my own in a new state ): the last few years has been SOOO difficult for me. I feel like im in pain because I have no one to talk to and no one to be close with like I did in my old town. I want to make new friends so bad and feel comfortable but I feel like it's never going to happen! I'm 20 yrs old and I feel like my life is passing by with no good memories or anything fun. I hate life sometimes and I want to just end it because I don't see the point of carrying on if I'm filled with pain. |
Question: Am I a terrible person for being annoyed by people like this? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 06:14 PM PST My housemate just doesn't talk. She complains that our other housemates are not nice people because they don't speak to her but they are actually lovely, she just sits silent in their presence. She invited me to go clubbing with her, I said yes to make her happy because I hate clubbing and when we went she wasn't even dating at all she just stood there, it was very awkward. Then she invited me for a meal with her and I agreed but she would just sit there in silence and every time I tried to liven the conversation she would give short answers and it would fall flat quickly again. She wanted to go for drinks after although I don't drink and was full from the food, I told her this but we still took a train to a bar. She would be on her phone instead of talking to me. I clearly looked irritated and she never asked me if I was okay or if anything was wrong. The journey home she did not really talk again although I did try. Am I an awful person for feeling annoyed by this? |

Question: What would you have thought about me? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 06:08 PM PST In high school, I wore hello kitty and pink or colorful things everyday even as a senior. I didn't have many friends and always had Disney pencils and backpacks. I had stickers on all my binders of stuff like candy and Disney stickers. |
Posted: 14 Dec 2018 07:17 AM PST I take this guy as a friend. He has been nice. But all of sudden he has been acting very different. He would completely ignore me, but secretly look at me many times . I would catch him looking and he would turn away. He didn't wanted me to know that he is looking. I am not even looking for a romantic equation with him but his different behavior is confusing me. Why is he acting like this? I find this behavior silly. I thought he was different. But I don't know what to think. I can also sense tension from his side. I didn't initiated the conversation to make things awkward. I wish he can come to me and tell me what's going on. |
