Question: Why is she upset???!?!? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 05:53 PM PST Hey guys, im in a weird situation at work. Im a guy and Im friends with this girl Sabrina at work, and we have known eachother for a year. We are very professional but alot of coworkers are bothered by us being friends and its causing alot of drama. Im 23 and shes 35 so coworkers think thats weird since i always make her laugh and smile. There was a report sent to my supervisor by another coworker saying i spend my whole shift talking to Sabrina when thats not True!!!! I had a few meetings with management and they told me i need to back away from Sabrina because its causing conflict. They dont want me talking to her unless im saying Hi or Bye. Sabrina began lying to my supervisors so that i dont get into trouble, she told me she has my back but she doesn't want to see me get in trouble anymore. I even told her i wasn't allowed to talk to her anymore at work. So when i saw her Last week on monday she didn't say anything, she just waved at me. On Facebook she told me that management wanted to talk to her for the first time, Soo after her meeting i noticed she deleted me from her facebook. My friends see her at work and apperantly she looks upset and shes always alone. I dont see her until Wednesday and im nervous. Did she kick me out of her life??? Or did she delete me for now???? What could be going on???? |
Question: Is it weird to add an old friend on Snapchat via quick add? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 05:52 PM PST I've seen someone on my quick add friends list on Snapchat and am not sure if it will seem weird of me to add them. I'm a couple of years out of high school and haven't spoken to them for like two or three years but we used to be good friends. We're friends on Facebook but they don't seem to use it and I thought adding them on snapchat might be a good way to start chatting again because I'm curious what they're up to. I've had a few people message me recently from school (that I haven't seen in years and wasn't even friends with back then) and I didn't respond to any of them because i wasn't interested in talking to them. I just don't want to elicit the same response from this person that I gave to those people. Would you be weirded out if someone added you after such a long time even if you were friends? |
Question: Should iI not refer to my sisterin-law as *****? We're family.? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 05:19 PM PST She said something i disagreed with and I said 'you're wrong *****' all of us had a laugh. Was I wrong? Am I a bullie? B word |

Question: Why is this so weird for me? am I used to abuse? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 04:27 PM PST I have a male friend that I know from online. He will call just to say "hi" or invite me to interesting events. He even had a girlfriend at one point but still kept in touch to be friends. ..so him and I are really true friends. No flirting, no sex talk. Just friends. I am so happy to finally have a friend after years of abuse by people that used and abused me but at the same time it takes some getting used to. Why is this so unusual to me? Why does it feel weird to be treated nice by someone? Can anybody relate? will choose a best answer |
Question: Tips on becoming more independent and going out alone? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 03:50 PM PST I'm 18 and have social anxiety. I've been wanting to go out and 'explore the city' and try and have fun, but my only friend keeps making excuses as to why we shouldn't... So I want to try and just go out independently. Any tips? |
Question: Why did my boyfriend said this women? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 03:00 PM PST at work was attractive but he said it in a context of something. He has told her that he's got a girlfriend though |
Question: Should i give her time???? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 02:59 PM PST My name is Eric and I work with this girl Megan , we don't work together but we work on the same floor...I only see her twice a week, me and Megan are really good friends we really enjoy each other's company at work. we always make each other laugh and we always have something to talk about. But a lot of coworkers think our friendship is weird because I'm 23 and she's 34. One of my coworkers wrote a long report to my supervisor saying that I'm always talking to Megan my entire shift (when that's not true).... eventually my manager began spying on me on my floor to make sure I was doing my work. ....management opened up a dumb investigation and eventually I had a meeting with my boss, and other people from head office. They told me that I need to step away from Megan because our friendship is causing too much drama on our floor. I told Megan about what my manager said and she got angry. Megan told me that if this whole situation escalates she will always have my back, but she doesn't want me getting in trouble anymore. she has even lied to my manager so that I don't get in trouble, but on Monday she send me a Facebook message saying that management wanted to talk to her later that day. I noticed that once her meeting was over she deleted me from her Facebook. I was expecting her to tell me how her meeting went and I couldn't confront her work because we're not allowed to talk. Today one of my friends saw her at work in the cafeteria, he told me that she looked very sad Why did she delete me????? Should i wait for things to calm down???? |
Question: Advice about a friend ? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 02:34 PM PST How to be there for someone who's family member needs a heart transplant? They've been distant lately and been going through a hard time. Do i give him space ? Or try to talk to him? not necessarily about that subject. I don't how to help him or how to be there for him. I don't want to say the wrong things. I just wanna help him. Don't like seeing him like this. |
Question: Does he realy want a friendship? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 02:06 PM PST We're both married and get along pretty well. Las time we talked for the first time about us and when he sad something about 10 years from now, he said he hopes our friendship doesn't end. At the same time he avoids talking to me when his wife is present (I know her too and always talk to her and I know she is very jelous) and last time he was driving me home from some event, he didn"t tell her and waited and stonewall leaving until she went home. How can we be friends if we exclude our sposes from friendship and if he hide our friendship (how colse we are) from her and pretend we're just acqaintances? |
Question: Confused about my feelings for this person? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 01:45 PM PST I'm a dude, straight, Bi, idk but i do know i'm attracted to females. Anyway, there's this girl on Instagram i've been following for a while and a few months ago i messaged her and we got talking. She's been through some sh*t and is still going through stuff and for some reason she talks to me about personal stuff in quite some detail. I really care about her and she is honestly one of the most beautiful people i've ever seen but i don't want to have sex with her or date her. She has a boyfriend and i'm genuinely happy for their relationship and no conscious part of me is jealous of the guy, just happy she's happy. I've never felt like this about anyone before though and don't know why I feel such intense feelings of care for this person when it's never happened for anyone else i've interacted with... What are these feelings?!? |
Posted: 16 Dec 2018 01:27 PM PST I've been at this job for 2 years now. I do custodian work at this hospital and I like it because there isn't many people I'm around and its 2nd shift and there really flexible. I used to work at this clinic for over a year and asked for a transfer because I got tired of the drama and gossip with these 2 idiots. They would go tell other co workers who is doing what wrong and I'm thinking don't you guys have anything else better to talk about. They are grown adults in there late 40's and they talk about who does what wrong at work. If I talked to him it was about gossip at work. I had to get a transfer. This other guy thinks we are friends for some reason. He used to offer me rides home and he was texting almost every day. I didn't mind at first but after a while I got tired of it. Then after he told people about some stuff I was doing wrong at my new department I decided to cut him off for good. I no longer see him much because I only worked with him on weekends. I've learned that work is just a place to make money and not friends. I guess if you meet someone cool but still I just use it to make money. Where I work now you don't hear much drama and gossip. Them other guys I used to work with I think they had some kind of issue with them. I've never worked with people like that. Just people that may complain. |
Question: Why is my friend being so distant? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 01:18 PM PST I don't remember doing anything wrong. And I don't think she's mad at me, she's just being really weird. We used to be so close. Then all of a sudden, things changed. I started noticing it about a month ago when I put my head on her shoulder. Usually she'll lean back, but she was as stiff as a board. So I sat back up. She used to hold my hand all the time and now she never does. I don't know what to do. She's changing so fast and I feel like I don't even know her anymore. She's like a whole different person. |
Question: Am I in the right here? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 12:01 PM PST So my best friend of 9 years and I decided to go our separate ways (I'm a guy). Basically we got into a huge fight and our friend group split apart, so we made separate group chats from each other. Not gonna lie, I said some pretty hurtful things. When he found out, he said I will never regain his trust, be he forgives me. However, not even a few days later, he was texting my other friend behind my back and insulting me after I apologized to him and asked to move past the drama since we have been friends for so long. I decided the friendship was toxic, because he hates all of my friends and won't hang out with me if they are around. Am I in the wrong here? Obviously I am for the texts, but what about for me cutting contact with him? |
Question: How can i say no to this question? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 11:52 AM PST my friend just texted me asking if i could come to her house after school on friday to pick up a christmas present. i dont want to be rude by saying no but i feel uncomfortable going to her house. im not sure why im uncomfortable, but i know it has something to do with the fact that her parents could answer the door, and i would have to meet new people. just the thought of that scares me. i would like to know how i can nicely let her know that i dont feel comfortable with going. thank you. |
Question: Can you DIE from triggering Phobias?? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 11:47 AM PST My friend was recently diagnosed (by a pro) with several phobias (claustrophobia, arachnophobia, trypophobia and tropanophobia). We watch a few videos on each of them and came across a video by the Dolan Twins where they "face their phobias" and thought it'd be fun to try. I guess Brandon's phobias are way worst because he legit passed out after puking all over the place and he said he felt like his chest was gonna explode. Aside from non-epileptic seizures that he rarely gets. (i dont even think those can KILL you lol), can triggering a phobia actually kill you? Like heart attack status or is she being dramatic??? Let's just say im really invested in seeing if we can cure his phobias so we'll probably keep trying when he feels better. Btw, all we did was show him videos of like stuff with holes and odd patterns, showed him a video of spiders then tossed a fake spider on the desk (he threw up, a lot). He fainted AFTER we left him out of the freezer. Not like we locked him in till he passed out. He said he wanted out and we let him out then when he was out he collapsed. It took his sister a while to get that and she thought we were just being mean and torturing him. |

Question: Weird to give Christmas gifts? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 09:38 AM PST I'm meeting up with some friends soon and since it's almost Christmas I want to get them something. We haven't seen each other in months and I'm wondering if it would be weird to get them something since we haven't seen each other in so long? Note: we haven't seen each other face to face but still text and all of that stuff |
Question: Help he cancelled on me 3 times this week, says he was sick but is it just BS...? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 08:06 AM PST We ve been seeing eachother for a year. Things have been rocky lately and it seems like he just doesn t care. He basically cancelled plans on me 3 times saying he s sick, but has time to be out and about doing errands like getting sings fixed in his car. One of the days he cancelled on me he ended up meeting me for a half hour to have coffee because he needed to bring me something I left at his house. So the third time I was mad and told him forget it and he can just contact me when he s ready cause I feel embarrassed being cancelled on 3 times in one week, and he hasn t replied. But the thing is he didn t even seem sick that day I saw him. Is this just BS, what would you think?? |
Posted: 16 Dec 2018 08:01 AM PST I keep seeing posts online to 'check on your friends' isolation is a symptom/behaviour of depression or mental disorder. What I want to know is, how can we help each other when we can't help ourselves? How do 2 people check up on each other who are both isolating themselves? OR say 1 friend does try to make an effort but realize their other "friend" doesn't try at all - whose to say and determine the effort between 2 depressed friends? One could have it way worse and still check up on people and end up killing them self because they see that no one tries to reciprocate the same little bit of effort. |
Question: What would you do if your friend(s) betrayed you ? Guys vs Girls? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 07:52 AM PST I just want to know different opinions on what you would do if you had friend(s) or teammates betray you ? Like let's say kept a secret from you about something that directly affects your life but didn't say anything to you. I just want to see diff reactions based off of diff genders ? |
Question: Do you think she likes me or she hates me? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 07:51 AM PST There's this girl, a little girl to be honest. We have a 3 ys old difference. It's no bug deal, but at her age is. She is like the little sister I never had and sometimes I wish she could always stay with me. Sometimes I daydream about her being 20/22 and getting married with me. Anwyay, back to the question. We are friends, she's nice, a bit tomboy, and sometimes she is the sweetest girl ever but if I say something wrong she turns into a rebel.I just wanna know if she has a crush on me or not. Here are her behaviours lately: - she asked me to translate some foreign poetry and read it. Then she closed her eyes and said the words were beautiful and that she wish she could speak this language like I do. She had these puppy eyes while saying it. - at the field, she saw a bar and started doing exercises. I got distracted and then saw her with her legs wrapped at it, no hands, upside down and laughing telling me to look at her. I got scared she could fall and break her neck so I immediately tried to hold her in my arms. As I touched her she screamed and said I was tickling her. - one day she took my phone and read the messages of my ex out loud in a stupid girly voice. I got mad and blocked her and took my phone back and she asked if I had a gf ans who was this 'mary'. I said its not your business and when we got up she was about to cry. Eventually she did and and said she had to go home. I took her hand forcing her to tell me why she was crying but she said leave me alone She's 13 and I'm 16. But she's really naive, not your typical instagram teenager, more of a tomboy sweet mamas girl |

Question: Does bullying wimpy kids toughen them up for the real world and why should I stop? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 05:38 AM PST I am proud of my history as a bully, I remember the good old days when me and the other cool kids would beat up and harrass the kids smaller and weaker than us, I was reminiscing about these memories at lunch with some friends and they said it was wrong and I should feel bad, but frankly I think I did nothing but prepare them for the hardships of the real world. Should I feel bad? |
Question: Boyfriend told "God gave you ears to listen" in front of his friends....? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 04:12 AM PST On Friday night he spent all night with friends and then slept over their house. Saturday I saw him active on instagram at 7am and he told me he woke up at 11am. He spend the whole day Christmas shopping with them... he said he was helping them find a gift for me but its an excuse to be around them all day. I spoke to him last night and he said he was trying to find gifts for his family too. He drove back home to pick up a few things then went back to the friends house and spent the day...then he slept over again on Saturday night. They were in the car and I called him and we started arguing because on Friday night he lied and told me he was home when he was not . He said he knew I would drive past his house and was testing me. Then when I asked If he lied about it because he thought I'd be mad he wasn't home he replied "kinda"... Then in the car he was telling me I don't listen to him and said God gave me two ears so use them...he said this while his friends and friend's gf were in car... Bf is 35 btw.... |
Question: Why are some people stingy with money? Posted: 16 Dec 2018 01:52 AM PST My friend has a good job and no debt. We were at the mall recently and she wanted to get baby clothes for her friend's kid. There were clothing on sale for $3 and up but she didn't know what to get. Question: My best friend hasnt been talking to me for a week but is still using my netflix account? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 10:56 PM PST So she got mad because i told her i was hanging out with a friend of mine she doesnt like and she hung up the phone on me and stopped talking to me since. She lives in another state so its not like i couldve been with her but i'd rather hang out with someone else. She's always out with her friends that i dont like but i wouldnt do what she did because i dont have the right to tell her who to be friends with and who not to. I give her my opinion but thats it. It would be different if we were living in the same city because then we'd have to hang out with each others friends and such but we dont. Ive been se hurt ever since because we never go a day without talking and she just cut me out for something stupid as always. I even remember once i hung up on her by accident and she didnt talk to me for a week. But she could still do it to me AND shes the one thats mad? Yet still using my netflix and stuff? Rude much? |

Question: Does he like me or are we just friends ? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 10:10 PM PST We are best friends since 1st and he kinda always talks to me and follows me. I personally don't think he likes me but my other guy friends say he does . He always want to play video games with me and always ask when I'm going to play and what games to play. He knows who I like ( which isn't him ) and I know who he likes ( which isn't me ). I just want to know if he likes me or not and what I should do. |

Question: Boyfriend thinks I will eventually cheat on him? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 09:27 PM PST We've been together for 3 years and just graduated college yesterday. Recently, I've been spending more time with my best friend who is a guy cuz for a year he will move to Florida. My best friend and I dated way back in 8th grade which is why my boyfriend never completely liked our friendship. We were literally kids and it lasted for like 3 weeks. We can't help but laugh when we look back. My boyfriend started getting insecure when my best friend and I went on a little trip last month with our other friend before he leaves for Florida. My boyfriend completely hated the idea of us staying in the same place but our other friend was also with us? He got extremely emotional Wednesday and let all his feelings out about how he never wants to lose me and what not. I was befuddled cuz I had no idea he was holding so much inside him. Of course I'll never cheat on him and there is nothing going on between my best friend and I. We've been best friends for 7 years now. How do I solve this situation? |

Question: My friend keeps fainting/passing out..??? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 08:45 PM PST My friend has been fainting a lot lately like randomly passing out. It usually only lasts a few seconds but has been as long as abt 5mins before. Usually we can tell because he starts to breathe really fast. It's happened at school twice so his parents know about it but we haven't told them about most of the occasions so they dont know that it's gotten this bad and he's kinda embarrassed about it and doesnt want them to. It's been happening over the course of a couple months and he's already passed out 4 times this weekend. Is something wrong with him or is this normal??? He's 15. He said he can usually tell when he's gonna pass out and knows the feeling. Is it normal??? |

Question: Why does not friend talk to me anymore? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 08:09 PM PST She gave me a bad check to pay the money she borrowed. When I confronted her she paid to me and she stopped talking with me. We know each other for 10 years. I am disappointed on her but she was still a friend. |
Posted: 15 Dec 2018 07:34 PM PST So I have been with my girlfriend for over a year and we are in college. We recently broke up but got right back together. Anyways I found out today that she cheated on me with some random guy she met out after we got back together. When we were apart she also slept with another guy but I was also exploring other girls. Anyways all of my friends knew but no one told me. They claimed it was because they didn't know what to do. Also I have been going through a lot lately and I guess they thought it would only be worse for me if they told me. I feel a little hurt by this but I guess I get where they were coming from. How would you feel if this happened to you ? |

Question: What is the worst customer experience you've ever had? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 06:22 PM PST |
Question: Im in a very reflective mood and I could use your input? Posted: 15 Dec 2018 06:06 PM PST So I'm here reflecting on past events, and I've come to think I could really use some outside perspective, if you wouldn't mind giving me your opinion on the matter. So my freshman year of high school there was this girl that had a really oblonged face, but I always respected her because she used to inspire me and I was slightly attracted to her features and her appearance. Anyhow, I could tell that her oblonged face was like her achille's tendon because she was very insecure about it, and for good reason because whenever she left, people would talk behind her back and make fun of her facial features. I would always stand up for her, but looking back at it I realize how immature I was. Because now I feel like I was such a cuck back then. I used to stand up for her and then my sophomore year she completely betrayed me. I'm totally over now, but sometimes I wish I could still stand up for her because people are so rude when she isn't there to defend herself. I know most people will think I'm white-knighting, but honestly I just feel like if I left the room, I would still want people having my back, so I don't know. I'm torn several ways, and I could really use some different perspectives. @PearlL yeah... but if you always stand up for someone and then they throw you under the bus the instant chance they get, then it seems really senseless that you stood up for them in the first place... |
