We don t really interact with each other much. I don t know much about him, but he seems to know a lot about me and kinda acts protective of me. Anyway, my boss had a holiday party and I unfortunately got really drunk. I actually started playing my boss piano and I haven t played in awhile. As the night went on I was in ear shot when someone asked him who was playing the piano earlier and he made sure to say my name and bragged to them about me. I took the humble route, When it was time for everyone to go home and I was smashed (slurring my speech, laughing a lot, and wobbly walking). I noticed he got very concerned, but was also smirking at me. I saw something in his eyes and face change. I felt he was looking at me as if he was in love with me. Anyway, He then volunteered to take the train home with me and said, "That s it! We re taking the train together". He doesn t live on my train line. As we were leaving our other coworker suggested sending me in a cab instead and then Heath agreed but said, he wanted to pay for me to go home", When he got downstairs Heath started calling me, "My dear".He has NEVER done that before. He usually calls me by my name. How he said I felt like he was saying I m his. Someone else actually ended up paying for me to go home. The next morning he sent me an email and told me. "Glad you got home safely. You played the piano beautifully last night!" |

There's this girl in the dorm next door to me, I'm a college freshman, and we're probably as close as two human beings can get without actually dating. To put it into perspective, I'll list the positive things first. In the past week we've face timed forty-four times, and a minimum of five hours a day. I know pretty much everything about her, and I'd consider her my best friend. She thinks herself to be fat and ugly, which honestly makes me more into her because she's modest and doesn't know how beautiful she is. She's got pretty much the same personality as me, we vent to each other all the time, and we have one hundred percent, mutual friends. I genuinely enjoy every moment I spend with her, and I live to make her laugh. Here are the negatives. We're very close, but I've heard her cry five times the past month over guys insulting her, and the fact that she cannot get a boyfriend for the life of her. She has never kissed a guy before, so I can't tell if she's flirting with me like I'd be able to normally. She has a dating app and tells me whenever she thinks a guy is cute, and she tells me whenever she finds a guy she'd want to date. She also knows I was into her friend for a long time and thinks I still am even though I'm not. The friend she thinks I'm into came out as a bi three days ago. Is it a bad idea to ask her out? |

She took a little interests in my interests and once kept walking and talking to me rather than go straight to class (high school). She also asked me to go to her gymnastics meet (I went and we couldn't talk much). She comes up and talks to me, which impresses me because she is a fairly shy girl, but at the same time it seems like I am following her than she is following me.. It's kinda a sticky situation where we're both nervous. I wanted to ask her out before winter break.. should I or wait a bit? |

As the year went on the staring continued and she began to act nervous around me when she is a social person. Once near Christmas I was at my best friends locker and she stood in the middle of the hallway and stared at me with a certain type of lust in her eye. Also once at lunch she was in the line getting food and she stared at me while in line , almost like she wanted me to see her. She makes it really obvious lol. I am a cheerleader and she played b-ball like I said up there , and she would follow me into the locker rooms and stuff and stare. One time later in the year she saw me walking then stopped dead in her tracks and went the other way which was sort of a give away. He told me he needed space (which I didn't really give him, I was hurt and still texted him) ...he broke up with me. He still wanted to be friends. I so sad and kept calling and every time we saw each other I'd cry while he was cold and distant towards me. 3 weeks after he broke up with me he sent me an email telling me he met someone shortly after we broke up (met her at a friend's party and she gave him her number). His email said "Not that it concerns you anymore and I don't know why I'm telling you but this but I met someone shortly after we split. I don't know what it is yet but there's definitely a connection." He said during the "space" he was trying to figure out if he wanted to work on us or start something new with her. I started to work on me and get over him, I was very depressed but started to feel more myself. All of a sudden he kept texting me and was mad that I cut him off and did not want to remain friends. A week later he showed up in front of my house with a letter and was telling me he is sorry for what he put me through and wants to work on us. Asked him y he changed his mind. He said "I wasn't thinking, and I miss what we had & want it back." Also told me that new girl could not be trusted & was still talking to her ex. I asked him if she wasn't talking to her ex would he have come back. He said "I don't know but she wasn't you.
