Question: Why did she unfriend me???? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 05:20 PM PST My name is Eric and I work with this girl Megan, we don't work together but we work on the same floor. I only see her twice a week, me and Megan are really good friends we really enjoy each other's company at work. we always make each other laugh and we always have something to talk about. But a lot of coworkers think our friendship is weird because I'm 23 and she's 34. One of my coworkers wrote a long report to my supervisor saying that I'm always talking to Megan my entire shift (when that's not true).... eventually my manager began spying on me on my floor to make sure I was doing my work. eventually I had a meeting with him and other people from head office they told me that I need to step away from Megan because our friendship is causing too much drama on our floor. I told Megan about what my manager said and she got angry. Megan told me that if this whole situation escalates she will always have my back, but she doesn't want me getting in trouble anymore. she has even lied to my manager so that I don't get in trouble, but on Monday she send me a Facebook message saying that management wanted to talk to her later that day. I noticed that once her meeting was over she deleted me from her Facebook. I was expecting her to tell me how her meeting went and I couldn't confront her work because we're not allowed to talk. Today one of my friends saw her at work in the cafeteria today, and apparently she looked miserable and sad. Why did she delete me on facebook??? What could be going on? Should i wait for things to calm down |
Question: Why am i such an outcast? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 04:49 PM PST i make more friends online than i do in the real world. i dont get invited to parties from anyone including my family. I get treated different from my siblings. i know so many people who say they "dont like me" but i havent done anything to them and i barely know them. i was given advice to stop doing things that makes me unlikeable to people but i really dont know the people who dont like me, i dont even talk to them. |
Question: I need advice, i messed up on omegle? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 03:14 PM PST Back in October me and my friend stupidly went on Omegle and after a few new people we met this girl, the girl was American and was very forward, me and my mate are recently turned 17 and being the hormonal boys we are carried on the convo, the girl said she was 14 but we thought she was lying and when we said she was too young to talk too she said that she's dated 18 year olds, she was sitting there smoking and saying how she loves to do drugs so we believed in our initial thoughts she was lying, after a few texts, we played dares, she stripped topless and my friend added her on snapchat and sent her picture of his penis, then she refused to carry on unless i showed mine, i was hesitant and first, i straight up refused then my friend and her started begging me too calling me a pussy and them sorts of names, so i briefly showed it, less than 2 seconds max, she insisted that she didn't see it and wanted me too do it again, but the damage was done in my eyes, i felt guilty and ashamed in myself, i shut the laptop down and was sick, now in december i'm still having sleepless nights of guilt, i'm not a pedophile at all, never have i had thoughts of this or done it before, i made a stupid mistake and i'm suffering from it! My friend is coping fine and he's forgot about the whole ordeal, should i worry that i'm going to go to prison? She was in the US we're in the UK? Honest help, i'll ignore any trolls |
Question: Is the friendship over? What is going to happen next?? I’m really anxious. (Long)? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 03:06 PM PST I met this friend let's call her Heather about a year ago. At first things went slow and then we (me) just started talking all the time. The friendship moved fast; she has a set group of friends too. She and a few other people at our church became friends too. She and one of those friends (the one she was closest too) had a falling out and she simply let the friendship go. We tend to have misunderstandings I think about 5 in the past year. And I think it's because we never took time to learn each other and so the foundation is not as big. This last time we had an issue things have been different. She won't interact with me unless it has to do with Church business she told me that she wanted to have a discussion while the pastor (who is our friend) is there. She said because I tend to misconstrue what she says and she wants there to be someone we are accountable to. She also said maybe this can be a lesson learned for future relationships etc. she also wanted him there just in case I bring this up to other people and so they know what the standard was. I've talked to a trusted friend about this and she said the fact that she is coordinating this and not just dropping me should be indicative of the fact that she isn't breaking the friendship but she wants to leave no room for misinterpretation going forward. Idk through. And I have no idea when this is going to happen. I care about this friend and would hate to see things take a sharp turn for this reason. |
Question: Should I invite people to my "bonfire"? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 01:51 PM PST There are a lot of trees in my yard and every year enough limbs fall out that I can I have a pretty big bonfire every year. It's usually just me and the guy across the street. Well last year I invited about 10 people and it was a disaster. It was very muddy and it took 2 hours to get the fire started. Everyone seemed bored. I'm a chill guy I don't like crazy parties I just like to chill out by the fire. I felt like everyone there felt was bored. Should I invite them again? It was so embarrassing last year. But I would like to have friends because it's a lot more fun. What should I do? |
Question: How to meet new people in a foreign country? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 01:20 PM PST I'm 17 soon 18 and will be graduating high school in June of 2019. I have been invited to be an au pair girl in Tokyo Japan for a year and the whole thing seems wonderful, my host family are family friends and I will be able to attend a language school as well. I am super excited and really happy about this opportunity but the more I think about it, I have come to fear one thing, being lonely. I have searched the internet high and low for a solution to my problem but have found very little. A platform like "meetup" seemed interesting but due to me being quite young, I am almost certain that the chances of me meeting anyone that is even close to my age, shares similar interests and with whom I can develop an actual friendship, are very slim. Voila, would anyone have a miracle answer to my problem? How to meet people in a foreign country? Young and alone in Tokyo |
Posted: 14 Dec 2018 01:17 PM PST He cries on the day she died and when her birthday comes up. Plus his dad died in Feb this year. What do I say to him when he is going though this Because when someone dies that I know i remember them but I don't dwell on when they died..like I take death differently than most people |
Question: Why don t I have feelings for others? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 12:21 PM PST Hi, I m 13 and I think I m obsessed with myself. Im becoming obsessed with how people think of me. I think constantly about how I could please everyone who sees me. Sometimes I m really mean to my friends. Like I treat them like they re nothing and only notice how mean I was after the fact but I keep doing it again. People used to be really mean to me and I think I m just lashing out? I don t really have anyone I trust. |
Question: Is this person a real friend of sort of manipulative? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 12:16 PM PST I met a guy after some traumatic experiences. The experiences left me wanting to shut myself in. I didn't come out of my room for 3 months. Lost my job, stopped eating, stopped taking care of myself, showering you name it. After 3 months I sought help. Talked to an over phone counselor. She encouraged me to get out, meet ppl & get a support system. So now back to this guy I met. I could tell he kind of liked me but I told him I just wanted a friend. Strictly platonic. He agreed & sort of assigno himself counselor. He was very kind & would encourage me to talk it out. If I didnt feel like it that day he'd sort of talk for me. He started hitting on me & Id remind him that I just saw him as a friend. There were a few times I'd have to remind him of this. Then once when we met up to chat I noticed his hugs were lingering, he kept trying to put his hands on my thigh or laying his head on my lap. Or he'd say things like "let other guys know you're taken" & he would question me as to who I was texting/calling. I told him that he was making me uncomfortable, that I shouldn't have to keep reminding him of what I don't want & that if it continued I would have to stop talking to him. He apologized & said he still wanted to be friends. But now he's cold & doesn't care anymore. When I call him he says "U shouldn't be able to benifit anymore if U don't want to be with me. I don't like being friend zoned. I'm tired of putting everything in and getting nothing back." But I never led him on. |
Question: Is this abusive or just being rough?? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 11:09 AM PST My 26y/o friend is very rough when it comes to dealing with her 16y/o brother. They fight pretty much all the time and he's built really small so it looks pretty bad. They've bitten, scratched, punched and kicked (normal stuff) but I'm more worried about the stuff like she covers his nose and mouth sometimes, chokes him from behind, drags him by his hair, hits him with objects (to name a few). He gets some hits in too but they are grown and they can really do damage to each other. Their parnets recently had to take him to the ER bc she dislocated his shoulder, again. None of this is new, it's not over the sudden, they've been at it for years everyone just hoped at least one of them would mature and grow out of it but it's really out of hand. I know it's not really.my business but a lot of the time I'm the one who has to break them up. Their parents are so used to it they act like it's not that big a deal and just tell them to knock it off. What should I do, if any thing??? |
Question: So how do i deal with a fake friend? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 10:55 AM PST I have this friend (well I don't know if I should even say there that), anyhow they only want to hang out when I have friends over that they want to meet, but when its just me and i ask if they wanna hang they make up some excuse all the time but when they find out im having a slumber party or any event they wanna be all buddy buddy with me. I have tried to be understanding about them and try to take a personal interest in them, but all they do is talk smack about me, and leave me out when they have any event going on. But then they turn around and act like they are happy to see me. And then get mad if i dont invite them to all events I throw but they leave me out of everything they throw. And continue to talk smack about me. To everybody. |
Question: Why do I hate casual friendships with the opposite gender? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 08:51 AM PST I'm a male and only keep a small circle of friends as it is but they are almost all guys. Other than someone to settle down and spend the rest of my life with, I have no interest in befriending females at all. I don't mind being friendly with them as acquaintances but go no further. I feel this way especially with married women. I refuse to befriend them. Why is it I desire a lover and zero other female friends in my life? |
Question: Where do you draw the line between telling someone the truth and bullying? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 08:48 AM PST Say someone is obese and you want them to lose weight, what would the difference be between telling them the truth and bullying them |
Question: Does she not want to be friends anymore ??????? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 08:28 AM PST I'm a guy and I had a friend at work by the name of Laura. Me and Laura work on the same floor In a hospital and we got along great, we enjoy each others company But apparently a lot of nurses on our floor think our friendship is weird because I'm 24 and she's 34. I have no interest in her other than a friend, So eventually a nurse wrote a long report saying that I'm always talking to Laura ( when I'm not) plus I only see Laura twice a week, so this whole thing turned into a big drama on the floor with other nurses.. I had meetings with management, and they told me that I need to back away from Laura because a lot of people think our friendship is unprofessional, and its also causing conflict with other coworkers. I messaged Laura on Facebook and I told her about the conversation I had with the managers, she got kind angry. Management began spying on me, and Laura would even lie to managers to protect me. Laura told me on facebook that she promised to have my back if this drama gets worse. On Wednesday she messaged me earlier on Facebook, she told me that she has a meeting with management later that day in the afternoon. after her meeting she deleted me from facebook, I didn't say anything to her since we are not allowed to talk at work. I thought she would let me know how her meeting went but nothing. I wont see her again till next week. Why did she unfriend me from facebook??????? Should i wait until things calm down??? |
Question: Why do people put money over friendship? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 08:02 AM PST I have run a successful in home childcare for years. This year has been slow on enrollment. My best Friend decided to open a daycare after the birth of her third Son. She has a large capacity and I have a small. Her Daycare is nearly full and she continues to advertise. She has people trying to sway clients away from my advertisements and towards hers. She knows how bad things are for me and tries to make it a competition. I'm a single Mom and she has a husband's income to help. Why when money is involved do people turn into greedy jerks? |
Posted: 14 Dec 2018 05:34 AM PST When I try to talk to my online friends and they ask me what I like, what you do etc. I will tell sometimes to them but soon after, this person interrupts every time saying me too and then the whole time they talk about themselves. No matter what I say they agree that they like/don't like, do/ or don't do. I just wanted to show my friends my silly pup, and soon as I did they posted their cat and wrote a long speech how they got it the minute I post. I understand they are very social. Although I told my buds I'm an introvert and I am very shy irl, and the person said me too, but we know so much about them within 2 weeks. They seem really nice, but it's annoying a bit. Why are they doing this? |
Posted: 14 Dec 2018 05:00 AM PST So each tatoo I have is very meaningful to me and tells a story, my friend thinks I'm ruining my body. Anyways here's a list of the tatoos I got and what they mean: Superman logo- since I'm a volunteer at my FD, I feel like Superman when helping others in their darkest hour. Plus when I become a dad I want to be that "Superman" for my kids A silhouette of four birds- each bird represents someone close to me that has passed (my grandma, my uncle, a friend who died in a dirt bike accident, a friend who committed suicide An arrow with a semicolon in the middle- represents a very dark time I went through in my life and I was able to fight through it and come out better than ever. The words "Live and Enjoy" with the same faunt style as the "Skate and Enjoy" slogan- this represents my passion for skateboarding and to remind me that life is a beautiful thing and to enjoy every minute of it So after explaining all that to him he still thinks they're stupid, idk what to do, maybe he isn't a good friend after all |
Posted: 14 Dec 2018 04:50 AM PST So i sometimes get these non sexual crushes on my gender , its like im not romantically attracted to them nor sexually , but I feel nervous around them and fangirl lol but its always on people i dont know who are attractive and if i get to know them this "crush " dissapears , with guys I directly start fantasizing about them and want to them etc. I know labels are not necessary but for me I think its good to put a label on myself it empowers me , Would you guys label that as Bisexual? oh and I forgot to mention im a girl . |
Question: Does bullying wimpy kids toughen them up for the real world and why should I stop? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 04:42 AM PST I am proud of my history as a bully, I remember the good old days when me and the other cool kids would beat up and harrass the kids smaller and weaker than us, I was reminiscing about these memories at lunch with some friends and they said it was wrong and I should feel bad, but frankly I think I did nothing but prepare them for the hardships of the real world. Should I feel bad? |
Question: How do I make a BEST friend? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 03:47 AM PST I really want a friendship like Kylie Jenner's and Jordan Wood's. I have friends that I do like but I want a friendship where we do everything together. I go to school, work and do sports but still haven't found anyone I can be BEST friends with. I want a friend who I can travel with, make fun of, and (in the future) live with. I want an inseparable friendship so I can do EVERYTHING with them. How do I get a friendship like this??? |

Question: My friend always achieves my goals without effort! What do I do? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 03:15 AM PST For example, I have been playing netball since I was 7 and have been training like crazy to make it into our organisations representative team. I eat extremely healthy, go to the gym 3-4 times a week, spend about an hour a day training myself to improve my skills on top of our weekly team training. and have a true passion for the sport. My friend, who is currently in the representative team eats rather unhealthy, doesn't go to the gym and only trains for netball once a week at our team training. She always tells everyone she only plays netball s people don't think she is lazy. This really annoys me because I put soo much work and effort into the sport, yet don't ever get into the representative team that I've been working for years to get into, yet she puts in no effort, doesn't have a passion for the sport and still got into the representative team. I really need help with this because I'm starting to despise her because she is getting everything i want without putting in any effort. What should I do? Its so hard to watch your dreams come true for someone else who isn't even working for them! |

Question: Birthday wishes for a friend whose a 15 year old girl? Posted: 14 Dec 2018 12:59 AM PST She's a friend with a good heart, she's been there for me when I was betrayed by my other "friends" , she's very enthusiastic which is awesome, she's fun to talk to, she's smart and does well in school, I want to let her know I'm greatful to have her as a friend. |

Question: My friends are being weird about me applying to college? Posted: 13 Dec 2018 07:12 PM PST ackground: i'm a 17 year old girl a senior in HS in the US, in a lower-income area. for most teens, the colleges admission process is starting, and i'm doing pretty well so far. (i do pretty well in school, As and Bs) i've gotten into a few schools so far (waiting back for more), some w/ good scholarships and i'm excited. however, my friends are opposite: i love them, but most of them don't give a crap about academics and are content to smoke and do nothing, then proceed to complain about how bad their grades/situations are and how they're going nowhere in life. They rag on me constantly for not always being available to chill w/ them and how seriously i take school. every time i talk about college (i try not to but it's a big part of what i'm doing these days) they get annoyed, passive-aggressive, and mad saying stuff like "i wish people would shut up about college i already know i'm not getting in anywhere" and "ur not better than us because you're goin away" and trying to guilt me for "leaving them in the hood". when they say **** like this it makes me want to scream because the reason they "aren't going anywhere" is that they don't try AT ALL... i get that college isn't everyone's path and everyone has different circumstances but you still can't expect **** to fall into your lap without at least a little hard work. I'm not gonna say this to them ever, but do you think i'm being too sensitive or harsh? |
Question: I want her to forgive me? Posted: 13 Dec 2018 06:20 PM PST My name is Erik, and im 23 years old. I had a besfriend Ashley, Ashley was the most amazing person i ever met. She did soo much for me and cared alot for me. We were friends for 4 years but sadly we had a big fight early last year. I lied to her to protect her, and she asked me to never speak to her again. I sent a letter with flowers to her house but she told me to leave her alone because we are done, she even blocked me on facebook. Its been almost 2 years since i last talked to her and i still miss her alot. I really want this girl to forgive me, can i have some advice ?!?!? This girl did sooo much for me and for my family!!!! I destroyed a perfect friendship :( |
Question: I ended it with my friends with benefits..was I right? will choose best answer? Posted: 13 Dec 2018 06:16 PM PST A male friend and I started getting sexual with each other a few weeks ago...but I am starting to feel attached and I am not sure if that is what he wants with me. For example, I send him long emails and he sends short answers back. He wants to see me again but I dont get the feeling he is in love with me like I am feeling with him so I ended it tonight. I told him that I think we should both think about what we really want first. Was I right to do this since I was feeling too attached? Will choose a best answer. |
