| Posted: 10 Dec 2018 08:12 PM PST My boyfriend and I have been together for almost three years. For Christmas he's getting me a weighted blanket. Though I love him I have mental health issues and suffer from many panic disorders and anxieties from past experiences (social, separation just to name two) him and my parents are going in on this together but I don't think it's a good idea. I can get very claustrophobic and don't like it when much to any weight is on me. I asked for a teddy bear instead because his thought process behind the weighted blanket is to calm/sooth my anxieties at night when he can't be there. I think a teddy bear would do the same thing because what calms me down is his scent (if that makes sense). He's not listening and I feel really bad because he paid a lot of money for it. But I don't want a weighted blanket. I'm scared he's gonna hate me or break up with me because weighted blankets are expensive but I don't want to get it and be in worse shape than I am now. I freaking out and my anxiety is through the roof. What do I do? |

Our relationship was great but she had one glaring issue. Her obsession with animals! I love animals I have a dog and 2 cats but she was over the top she got kicked out of her own house because of it. She lived with her mom we aren't both 19 I'm a college student who works part time and also lives at home. She works not quite full time maybe 20/25 hours a week as a nanny. But she had a dog and 2 cats that she brought to her moms house without permission and her mom didn't like it the dog was wild but he was sweet and the cats were fine. But her mom told her absoulelty no more. But a month ago she bought a German Shepherd and her mom freaked out and threatened to kick her out. Then recently she bought 3 Great Danes... her mom kicked her out and I can't have her live with me with 5 dogs and 2 cats and she has been homeless with 5 dogs and 3 cats... she said she won't give them up but she doesn't have a job anymore or a car and I just didn't know what to do. I love her but those decisions are so scary I don't want to live my life with that many animals and she bought them with no plan on how to take care of them. I just feel so bad and I know she won't change her ways what do you think?? I would make anything work but I think for her part she needs some realism! I was a little upset bc he knew it was coming up but I decided he couldn't help it and we just texted happy anniversary (we only live 1 hr away, but that is a chunk of time if he were to see me, first yrs at my uni aren't allowed to have cars on campus so I can't go see him.) Lately he's been working third shift at his job, it's taxing on him but he's been working there for a while so it's not like he's had this sudden change. I know he's tired a lot but at least a good morning text would be nice. We text like a little bit most days, but today's our 2nd month anniversary and he hasn't said a word, and yesterday he didn't even know what i was hinting at when i asked if he knew what the next day was. We broke up for like a short bit some time ago so I would think the fact that a. our first anniversary didn't go well and b. we had our little breakup that he'd say something since this is technically our first month all over again. i don't expect something each month, i know its more important after a yr together, but i'd think us being together for a month would be a small happy milestone. Am I overthinking things or should i be a little concerned? A lot of women jump down their bf's throat over little stuff so i try to be very chill about most things but people tend to take my kindness for granted. As they were waiting in the car, I went inside to order our food to go. The cashier and I had a conversation, he started it by asking if I went to school around the town. I said yes, and he asked more questions like if I lived close, what I do outside of school, if I usually go to the other restaurant on the other side of town (this is a restaurant chain with a few locations in my town), and how school is going. I held the conversation well and it was just the two of us. He was also doing something else while having the conversation but he looked at me a lot and made eye contact, smiled a few times, and listed to what I would say. I didn't find the questions weird, I just keep wondering why he asked so much about me lol. Anyways, I also asked him some of the same questions back. Found out we are the same age and the school he attends isn't too far from mine. As I finished paying, I said thanks and he said "have a good night" just as most employees do. This is the 2nd time I'm getting braces (I had them as a teen but my teeth shifted VERY bad). Personally I don't mind wearing braces at this age as they don't bother me. I keep them very clean. They're pretty comfortable and they even look kinda good on me IMO. I could honestly say I like wearing them. However, I'm not sure if other people, particularly women feel that way. Currently I'm single and my only worry is if my braces will make my relationship life take a stand still. I broke up with him, due to him being immature and irresponsible and also because he lied to me about hanging out with a female friend, which I believe was innocent, but I felt I couldn't trust him. In august he reached out, said he missed me and was trying to move on but it was hard. I said I missed him but made the right decision. He said he wanted to be friends. We met up, he said he wasn't dating and was working on himself. We hooked up, he came on to me. Then we kept hanging out and hooking up. A month later I said I missed dating him. He said he thought we should just keep doing what we were doing for the time being because he didn't want me to leave him again. So on November 17th, he asked me to seriously date again. I said yes. Over the weekend I looked through his phone, and saw texts between him and his "fried" I haven't heard about in a while. In August he was spending the night at her house, went to a wedding with her, went to a winery over the summer. I don't think they saw eachother from August to October. In Oct he went to see her (she is 2 hours south) to a haunted house. They don't text tooo often like we do but enough. I don't know if he lied to me about "dating" Can I trust him? |

He forced her to block me on her social media but she kept me on her private acc. Through her spam posts it was evident that she missed me and that she might also have feelings for me.
