Question: I have lots of friends in high school. But no best friends. Is this bad? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 05:42 PM PST I m a few months into freshman year of high school and I sort of get along with everyone there. There s very rarely anyone who I dislike in the school and I talk to everyone pretty easily. So saying I don t have friends is not true. I actually have one group of friends i m very close with. Problem is, they all already have better friends. Whenever I m at home, everyone in my friend group will all be posting that they re hanging out with other people. I want to hang out with them I wish I could have friends that well. There is practically nobody in my grade who I feel close enough to actually ask to do anything outside of school with no matter how close we are in school. Is this a problem?
Question: What do you call this?? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 04:43 PM PST When you grab someone by both of the arms and push them out of the door. what would you call this??
Question: Which person was I more disrespectful towards? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 04:16 PM PST Who was I being more disrespectful towards between these two classmates? Me lashing out my temper at a girl who I had a crush on in high school because she didn't want to spend time with me along with me constantly following her around on school campus. or Me casually asking a classmate what happened between him and another classmate who were denied entry of the transit bus because the bus driver witnessed both of them fighting with each other (the person who I asked wasn't the aggressor), he did answer my question honestly.

Question: What could this mean? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 03:31 PM PST My friends texts me and then very often he will take 3-5 days to respond back. I notice him being on social media like snapchat and during that time he still doesn't reply to me. I don't expect him to respond to me immediately because I know people get busy but it seems like an awfully long time gap between texts. Especially considering that it's a simple conversation such as a "Hi how are you?" Did they just forget or do you think they don't care much about being friends?
Question: How do I deal with being over shadowed by older brother in high school? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 03:03 PM PST My older brother has obviously more friends than I do, but I would definitely not say I'm unpopular. But lately I've been being called by "his sister" and I really am getting sick of it. I always get asked questions about him in class, and I never hear the end of how cool and awesome he is. I am becoming not annoyed, but really sad. If anybody has advice they can give me to help my situation that would be great.

Posted: 05 Nov 2018 01:34 PM PST i always see girls touching/messing with each other in ways guys wouldn't with each other, and i know it's relatively common for girls to kiss when they are drunk, but do girls actually kiss when they're with each other?
Question: How to deal with a room mate disagreement? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 01:24 PM PST Hey, I'm having a problem with a room mate. She has asked me to not leave my towel in the bath room, but if I do not leave it in the bathroom, I will forget it, and track water across the room, which is already a problem. Is there a polite way to tell her that I think it would be best if I kept my towel in the bathroom. I understand her issue with it, but there are plenty of other places to leave her clothes in the bathroom.
Question: I tell my friends not to joke with me, and they do. what should i do? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 01:13 PM PST I told them to be serious when they say stuff to me. I always talk serious to them, i don't joke with them. But they still joke with me. Example: I went to get up and give a presentation in class, and my friend told me to sit down, so i did, then they said they were just joking and i could go up. I was pissed. so i walked out of class.
Question: Why are p0rnstars seen as people who have ruined lives? Why don’t p0rnstars have respect? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 12:58 PM PST Please give me real and deep answers. I don't need sarcasm or blanket statements. I am having a genuine hard time and I would like help.
Question: I hate being a third wheel...what can I do? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 12:34 PM PST My cousin and one of my close friends really like each other. Whenever they come to my house they literally only talk to each other. It gets irritating and I just feel left out.
Posted: 05 Nov 2018 11:25 AM PST so back to the rock climbing, I'm very fast and while it climbing the rock wall several times and ringing the bell at the top, I see them at the bottom just talking and looking. A was standing all swaying back and forth and hands in her pocket while B was sitting and glancing at me. he asked if I did this a lot and I was like not really and just kept walking because I was upset at them. After the place closed A's mom was gonna pick us up but while we were waiting, A said" are you mad at me?" and I was thinking in my head *HOW COULD I NOT BE?!* but instead I said "no, why would I be? So the next day I told A's boyfriend (let's call him C )because that is not cool and C should know. I didn't tell C much but that it was not cool for A to do that. I knew it might have turned out bad and it did, kind of. A knew it was me who told C and so C said he just wants to be friends with A and A was all like" I didn't flirt" and "I would never do that!"( i know because she sent me and so did all the other girls we hung out with. Also apparently A told the girls when I was not around that she wanted to suck his d***. when they told me she said that I was pissed and disgusted. I said he deserves better and they agreed. So today A was like tell C to text me and i was like "I can ask but I won't tell him. last time I did my best friend(A) said she didn't want to speak to me" she kept asking to text him and tell him to text A and then later she said "F*** u I'm sorry but we can't be friends." My heart is torn and I don't know what to do.
Posted: 05 Nov 2018 11:13 AM PST So I'm a senior in high school. I met this girl in June who's also a senior in high school. I met her at a party on saturday niight at a mutual friend's house. We began talking and then we started texting and there was a time when we would just hang out at our town's lake (main attraction of our town). About a month ago though I began noticing a pattern: Usually during the week we talk for a while at school but everyone is busy with their classes and I get it. Then weekend comes and you would assume that she would ask or at least agree to hang out on weekends, right? wrong. You see I began giving her rides to school since her house is on my way to school. I didn't mind at the beginning last month but then I started noiticing that I give her a ride on monday morning. Friday comes,I ask her to hang out like at the lake or something and she just either doesn't reply at all or she says she's sorry but she's busy. Ok so I make plans on my own, then sunday night comes and ta dan, she texts me with all these smiles " you pick me up tomorrow morning?:)" I feel such an idiot because I could've seen she was using me. What would you do? I hate being rude to people, especially to people I considered friends but enough is enough. What now?
Question: What to do plss help urgent? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 09:55 AM PST my family friend is coming over now. i last saw him when i was just 6or 7 it has been like 10 years now. he is a man . my mom is asking me to hug him saying that i missed him a lot just to butter him and if i dont obey her i am dead i dont want to hug him it will be so embarrassing . i dont know what to do
Question: Why do I feel jealous when my best mate speaks to my younger sister? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 09:10 AM PST My best friend, quiet popular with women.I think hes ok looking, women tho seem to open up quiet easily and hes been with many of them.Rarely shares anything about his personal life, but best friends nevertheless.Sometimes i see him accompany our female college lecturers, like some sort of friend after classes are over.Dont know if its a height thing, hes like.6.2, slim..friendly and kindoff not scared to approach them. I,m usually the guy who hangs around with him, but when he starts talking with the girls, I get ignored. More recently,I noticed hes quiet friendly with my sis.He asked her if she can see him as her own brother and she said, ok.I dint like that. Now its like she has two older brothers and it seems that she responds to his jokes, has fun in general and i get ignored. Also me and her had this disagreement, and he interjects and says..see man, why u scolding her, shes soo cute..(i,m thinking..who are u man?)..Am i being paranoid?

Posted: 05 Nov 2018 08:35 AM PST Hello Yahoo community! So my girlfriend and I are both first year college students. For me, things are going pretty well at school, but its a different story for her. Shes a Game Design and Development Major, which heavily relies on coding. Unfortunately for her, she is struggling heavily in her coding class (which is her main course), along with her math course. As an Electrical Engineering student I can't really help her, but I try to give her emotional support at least. I am trying to learn C# on my own so I could help her too. But after this recent exam, she must drop the coding class and take it again next semester, and she is very stubborn in believing that she will fail again. I try to say meaningful stuff, like how I failed math so many times, but studied so hard that I started to do well, but that just pissed her off. On the topic of math, she is doing decently, but just failed her most recent quiz (which she wasn't aware of), that ended up really tipping her off, so now she is just in a terrible mood. I don't think it helped either that when we were in the library she called what I said b*llsh*t and I proved her wrong and asked her not to call what I say that. I really want to help, I want to make her feel better. I really care about her, and I don't want her to feel like this, especially since all she wants is to be alone now and I'm very worried. I need help on what to do...
Question: Could he be interested again? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 07:11 AM PST Ex bf waited to leave church same time as I did and as as I was going down the stairs, I turned around he was behind me. He smiled and shyly asked how are you? grinning(hesitantly),. He asked how my family is and I asked his. I said why'd you lose so much weight he said he didn't that he's the same. Before leaving I said well don't lose anymore weight, he smiled shly and said "okay" looking down. Before this We argued last time and he was blaming me etc and I said I tried giving him benefit of the doubt after all that but useless. He said he wasn't going to argue with me. So a few months passed and the above happened. Could he be interested again?
Question: Are my friends really too busy for me? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 07:09 AM PST I'm an adult in my 20's and I don't have a job because of being fearful and having some anxiety and the friends I do have are all busy. Are they really too busy for me? I thought about finding friends that aren't so busy
Question: What should I say to my friend with self-esteem issues? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 06:40 AM PST She almost refuses to be friends with someone who she thinks is prettier than her (i.e. thinner/fitter, whiter teeth, clearer skin etc), especially when she has a boyfriend. She is miserable, she has an eating disorder, and whilst I care for her (despite whay I just wrote, I know she still cares at the end of the day), I really want to give her a push to get over herself and wake up to herself because she has virtually no other friends these days and she complains about being lonely/nobody wanting to hang out with her or invite her anywhere. What would you say to someone like that? When I say "almost refuses", I mean it's like she resents and can't stand the company of a beautiful girl even though she claims to like them and calls them her friend. Also, when her boyfriend is around, she always seems upset and on-guard. It is heartbreaking to watch. One minute she likes the girl, then the next she is insecure, thinks they're untrustworthy, and thinks her bf is after them. It is a vicious cycle of jealousy and guilt.
Question: Why can't I find someone? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 06:05 AM PST I'm 18. It's like I go to university, do all those lessions, come home, study, I also hang out with my friends but I never have the chance to know someone new. I don't respond to the directs that boys send me because I don't even know them and I think it would be a waste of time. People tell me that I'm nice. However can you tell me what it is that causes this "problem"? I know it's not so serious.
Question: I need help with this please? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 05:38 AM PST I'm a 26 year old female and I have another female friend that is a lot older than me and ever since we have been friends our friendship has not been the best because of me because she has felt like at times that I have pushed her away. I do have a social disability and it has really gotten in the way of every friendship that I've had and I have told my friend that I do have this disability and she told me that no matter what I say to her she said I will not throw you down and she said she is not going anywhere. Is she right for saying that or is she wrong? And I have also told her one time that she shouldn't want to be my friend but that's because I was not having a good day and also the disability got in the way but I am hoping to overcome that
Question: Does he really want me to do a gig again? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 04:47 AM PST I played a jazz gig a couple of days ago, and the owner said that I could do a gig again, although the people in the bar weren't clapping, I was wondering if I was doing a good job. I texted the owner and heres our replies: "So Ill be able to play another one a month from now?" "I will have to check on my December schedule so far and get back with you, but we'll definitely want you back so let me get back with you in a day or so." "ok, thanks. Let me know" "Definitely" So if he doesn't reply in a day or so, does that mean a no? Is he really just saying things?
Question: How do you tell if someone actually hates you? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 03:55 AM PST There's this person that I joke around with and we're mean to each other and say that we hate each other, but it's all just fun and games in my head. I don't know how to tell if I'm actually hurting their feelings and I don't mean to, we both say mean things to each other, it's not just me. But sometimes they seem genuinely hurt but a minute later they're all smiley and joking around again. Do they hate me?
Posted: 05 Nov 2018 03:43 AM PST to call 911.Would the man ever let his friend s kid see this?Or then he would say kids make up stories?
Question: What could possibly be wrong with my classmate? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 02:28 AM PST One of my classmates in school, I don't want to be friends with her anymore. She starts trouble for me and even hit on my best friend's boyfriend right in front of her. I know she has mental problems and is taking medication prescribed by the doctor. When I told her that didn't want to be friends anymore, she started crying. She gets too close to people right away. A lot of other people that didn't want to be friends with her anymore, she started crying immediately. She's very sensitive. Why? Her mother has been married and divorced three times. Her father is an alcoholic. She can't drive. When I asked her why she doesn't drive, she changes the subject. What could be reasons she has a lot of emotional problems?
Posted: 05 Nov 2018 02:27 AM PST was at the library studying, my friend was passing by and we talked for a bit and I asked her if she wanted to get coffee later. She said she doesn't want coffee but she prefers other things, such as tea. So I asked her if she wants to get tea later and she said "sure, let me know when" so I said "about in an hour" then after an hour, since she wasn't too far from where I was, I asked her to go and we went to get tea and talked for a bit, a nice break from studying for about 20 to 30 minutes? I mentioned about a new restaurant nearby campus and she said she's curious to try so I told her we can go next time when she's not busy, because I didn't want to bother her. She said "whenever you have time because you seem busy" We're no longer in the same classes anymore, she has other friends from the class she hangs out with... makes me sad but I try to ask her to hangout with me without annoying her too much. We've hung out several times one on one, lunch, dinner, tea etc. Is there a chance that she doesn't want to hangout with me but she's too nice? One thing I'm skeptic about is that she responds to msgs on social media late, sometimes very late. But on the other hand, she's not on it much and she is aware of what I'm posting and she mentions it when we meet + hugs... which I like. I bought her the drink she had and she let me treat her.
Question: What does this mean ? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 02:08 AM PST I have a friend and the both of us doesnt like another friend. Now naturally because i dont like her i try to aviod her as much as i can, like why the **** would i stay with her if i dont like her. My friend that agreed and said things agaist her to me, i told her to her face that i prefer to stay with her than this friend that we dislike but she like calls her, tell her where she is so she'd go wherever the person we dislike go next to her... when she arrives at school she doesnt come next to me but goes to her. My point is if she told me things that makes her dislike her than why the **** does she go after her *** ? This just makes feel kind of betrayed if that makes sense, only because she said she didn't dislike her because other wise i don't give a **** what she does or who she goes with.
Question: Why doesn't my roommate walk to classwes with me? Posted: 05 Nov 2018 12:45 AM PST We don't study on the same course, but we have a class that starts at the same time on Monday. She just leaves even if I only need to put shoes on. She also doesn't want to go to gym with me (we go to the same gym). Sometimes she skips gym to avoid going with me. Yesterday she complained about a girl that got on a bus without her (my roommate needed to use the same bus, because she was going to the same event), so I don't understand her. At home, she s nice and we chat alot. We share a lot of things, like tea and coffee. I don t want to be her bestie or anything, but saying bye and closing the door in front of a person who is just about to leave is a bit off? Does she like being alone? Or is there something wrong with me?
Question: Does this guy sound like a douche? Posted: 04 Nov 2018 11:45 PM PST I knew this guy for like a year. From the beginning I was very into him. We hooked up and messed around a lot. Went out on a bunch of dates etc. i told him I liked him to his face several times too and hell just say he likes me too but never asked me out. So we ended up not talking for a month. Were just friends right now, (dont wanna get into it) Last week at a party on our college campus i drank a little too much. He was drunk too but he told my roommate that hell drive my car back to me and my roommates place. I told him no and that I can drive in like 20 min. He goes "youre out of your ****** mind" then he told he goes "youre ******* drunk" i could tell he was on something too, cocaine I think. I kept declining his requests, then eventually he just said ok and left all mad. He then texted me, "i just wanted to make sure u got home safe thats all, you were acting like a *****. That was a little weird."
Question: Why did this girl block me? Posted: 04 Nov 2018 11:23 PM PST A friend of one of my former roommates blocked me. I got into it with the girls I lived with but it didn't have anything to do with her. I was scrolling through my messages and I saw a message she sent me asking me for something back in April. I has no interest in talking to her at all, I didn't even realized she blocked me until just now.

Question: My best friend is moving schools? Posted: 04 Nov 2018 09:32 PM PST My best friend just posted on her story that she is moving schools and I am freaking out over it. She is like the only person I hang out with. I have other friends at school but we aren't close. I just don't know what I would do without her. I have lunch with her but when she moves I won't have anyone to sit with anymore. I'm really sad and broken over the fact that she is leaving. She is moving to a school that is about 20 minutes away. I'm also scared that she will find new friends at her new school and forget about me and that we would never hang out again. I really don't want us to grow apart and not be friends anymore. What do I do?
Question: What Should I do if my roommate masturbates in the room while I'm there? Posted: 04 Nov 2018 08:57 PM PST First yr of college, we're both 18, my dorm room is probably 20 x 10, so one small room, two people. A few nights ago I hear weird breathing and assume my roommate has strange sleeping habits (sometimes I'll fight in my sleep, so I thought, meh) I typically am the one to stay up late and wake up early, so I'm awake more than she is. Tonight I hear the same weird breathing and I hear wet noises. I go to my fridge to put up a half eaten apple, and I see my roommate has her legs spread under her sheets. I started eating my apple so she would know I'm awake, but it didn't do anything. Getting up to put it away, the sounds stopped, and when I got back into bed, they continued until I cleared my throat. I have my desk set up so we can't quite see each other when we sleep, but I find it creepy that she's doing that while I'm there. She goes home every weekend, she could've took care of that then. How do I not bring it up, just in case I'm wrong (I doubt I am) but also not have to live with *that.*
Posted: 04 Nov 2018 07:27 PM PST I hear so much about weed and how good it is. My state has gone legal but theres no stores selling yet. I have no friends and know nobody who smokes it so I can t get it that way. How does someone with no friends/connections get weed? I know people don t advertise it.
Question: Please help this girl is psycho? Posted: 04 Nov 2018 06:39 PM PST okay so there is a girl and since I don't want to go to much into detail is definitely a bit mental. she is overly sensitive and self-centered but who isn't in 2018. I don't want to be friends with her but she keeps texting me and even if i block her she found/follows my other accounts and started to write comments on the stories i write on Wattpad. I just want her to stop bothering and on my wattpad stories she tells people about how 'terrible' i am. I do pity her because at moments she acts like she truly regrets what happened and she even said she likes me romantically (I'm another girl and although i don't have a problem with LGBTQ I'm pretty sure i'm straight) and would die for me which is making me uncomfortable. she tells me she is suicidal and depressed which i believe but i can't force myself to be friends with her I'm going to confront her but...I'm scared about what will happen. Also, I'm not sure to believe her about her loving me because she has used this tactic of making her friends be friends with her again but sometimes she sounds genuine but I'm not sure
Question: Odd question, about "partners"? Posted: 04 Nov 2018 06:26 PM PST My friend & I have been thinking for months about creating a stream-team, but she doesn't know what to call me? Co-owner, partner? What would be an appropriate name that doesn't make us sound super.. "professional" I said plain ole partner haha.
