Posted: 24 Nov 2018 07:43 PM PST Before my current relationship, I was in a serious relationship for close to four years, and in short, one day while he was at work, I was playing around on his tablet and a messenger chat had popped up with a sketchy message. When I clicked it, it looked like it was a continuation of a conversation from earlier, but the messages from before had been deleted. I watched in horror as my ex fiancee made plans to meet up and have an affair with someone he would tell me was "like a sister" to him. It devastated me, and like any sane girl would do, I left him. It was over a year later when I met my current partner, and he makes me really happy, but I can t help but feel troubled by my doubts. My partner always acts super nervous when I ask to even see what videos he s watching on his phone. I can understand somebody not wanting their privacy invaded, but the way he seems to get panicky only makes my doubts grow further. We ve talked about this a few times, and he s always reassured me that there was nothing he s hiding from me, so I d really like to believe him, but with what happened before I m having some difficulties. He s seriously a genuine and sweet guy so I d really like some tips or knowledge on how to help me get over my mistrust for others. I don t want to be the kind of girlfriend who has to look through her partner s messages just to feel reassurance. |

I focused on helping my family, career perspective, getting education at a very late age. I never paid attention to dating aspects because coming from an underprivileged family, kind of had financial struggles, I had to step in, give up my dream, education and step in for a few years. Then, I was on my own trying to figure out which career path I should choose. I ended up going to a community college and now have transferred to one of the major public 4 year university. It's competitive here and I'm spending most of my time studying, focusing on grades and building networks to build resumes to land me internships and jobs. I learned soft skills because I have a lot of experience working in the hospitality industry, trying to get by, paying rent while I studied and even before then. I'm also trying to get in shape and I don't drink/smoke/use drugs, I try not to eat junk food. I've never hit to gym consistently but I'm trying to change that so that I can get into a good shape. I'm not socially awkward but having been a workaholic, I still have trouble relaxing or giving myself time off where I feel guilty taking time off and don't socialize enough. I overcame a lot of things and held myself sane, never went off the track using drugs, alcohol etc. I think I have good values and I can hold a conversation because of my life and work experience but I don't think I'm seen as a romantic guy. Also I have taste in terms of culture such as music, food etc. I just lack experience in dating where I'm not proactive. More of lowkey I'm not into hook ups. I'm not a religious fanatic either. |

I backed off from her a bit because she said I came off a bit too strong. 5 days of no contact she texts me saying she hopes I have fun that day(in reference to plans I told her I had for Thanksgiving) Anyways sometimes when we workout at the gym together she'll mock me and mimic my body language or gestures. I usually ignore her because she's naturally silly around me. Anyways I did ask her out to each and she said "that sounds perfect" so we'll be going out next week. She just got off a bad breakup I should ask and that's why she's not really ready for a relationship. It's just sometimes although she says she's interested she doesn't always act like it. Our relationship has been very complicated and been called toxic and unhealthy by some of my friends. Our relationship started going bad about 8 months in, and I broke up with him after a year of dating. We got back together after being a month apart. I thought things were going to be better the second time around, but things started to get worse than the first time. I've been physically abusive to him multiple times. I do regret it because I've left scars on his body, but he hasn't left me. He's been very manipulative and always tries to blackmail me with the abuse when we get into big arguments by saying he'll post it on social media or show it to our parents. We ended up going to counseling (which I know sounds crazy since we're so young), but I haven't seen any improvement. As much as we want to make it work and care about each other, nothing is changing. My parents don't understand why we can't get along. I feel like our issues are more within ourselves. I have tried to break up within the past few months, but I feel like he manipulates me to the point where I can't get out of the relationship. Should I stay or go? |

I prefer my wife's breasts more because they are softer and I told her I like the way they hang down but she doesn't believe me. I'm in my Senior (Junior status) year and I've kind of fallen for one of the girls. So he told me he was back talking to her but it's nothing like that and that he just need a friend to talk to. I told him once if he keep talking to her there's no US. So today we're on video chat and I asked what he was doing he told me he was texting her so I said screenshot it and send it to me because I thought he was purposely trying to piss me off and he actually sent it to me and was telling the girl he was going to send her money in the morning and having a conversation with her he don't even conversate with me he cut it short! So after I seen it I immediately hung up and blocked him on everything. So I texted her because I was hurt and felt like that wasn't cool she claims she asked to borrow the money because she need it and her babydad pay bills where she at and he don't have it and why I'm mad she's paying him back. But like I said he hasn't talked to her in months. Why is money involved? So I unblocked him and texted him all kinds of stuff because he know it hurt me that he even talks to her he hasn't responded to none of my messages. Because he know he is wrong! |
