She talks to a few people around her during class, but not nearly as much as me. The first time we ever talked, she went up to me and said she liked my shirt, and we ended up actually having a really nice convo and stuff before class, and every day of class we always end up talking at least for a little bit, as well as during class as well. Since I don't drive yet, but she does, she also mentioned that she wouldn't mind bringing me/picking me up to and from where I needed to go, and this was also around the beginning of the semester as well. Today she asked for my phone number, so we talked more, and she again said she would definitely bring me to school/to home or something if I needed a ride. Today she brought up giving me a ride home, and when I said I'll see if we could do that next day of school, she seemed kinda upset. Is there any reason as to why this person would seemingly really want to be with me for some reason? She has a boyfriend. |

How can I handle this? I plan to talk to her about this when we meet again. I'm thinking of telling her she needs some backbone and stand up for herself. She didnt need to give them my number and I feel like that went over the line. I understand they're concerned but they seem to prematurely judge me. Let me just tell you, Dave is a very sweet, genuine, honest, and attractive guy, and he's honestly everything I'd ever want in a person. I know it's a cliche thing to say, but in all my years of being in relationships with guys and knowing them I've never met somebody as kind-hearted and caring as Dave. Unfortunately, the same week I found out he was in a fling with this other girl. It was like a stab to my chest, as if all the oxygen in the room was suddenly sucked out of it. Or, he just will leave it at no response, which is fine.
