Question: Why is she surprised that I still talk to her???? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 05:49 PM PST My name is Steven, and I was going out with this girl from work. We really liked eachother but things between us didn't last long. She ended things with me weeks later mostly because she's 29 with a daughter, and I'm only 23. Things at work were really awkward for the first couple days after the break up. But we have been talking at work like normal again, now she has a new boyfriend her same age. Someone told me she is really surprised I still talk to her, and she told someone I'm very mature!! Why is she surprised I still talk to her???????? We see eachother only 2 times a week, but I still talk to her like nothing happened. |
Question: Why do many friends say that I have smart eyes? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 05:48 PM PST How to understand this expression? |
Question: Does she have feelings for me???????????? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 05:28 PM PST My name is Kyle and I'm 23 years old, and I have a big crush on this woman from work, her name is Amanda. Amanda is actually 36 years old, and is married with 2 kids, We always talk at work when we see eachother. Since I saw her this morning she had a huge smile on her face. Well Today I also admitted to her that I like her, and she began acting different at work... Amanda was more happy with me, and she kept staring at me with a huge smile. Everytime she saw me she had a big smile on her face. We kinda began having a playful conversation about sex, and then we continued talking about work. later she even added me back on Facebook because she had deleted me in the past. Amanda even had my back today when I got into trouble with my supervisor. Why was she in such a good mood??????? Is she happy I like her?????? Any advice |
Question: My friends never tell me anything anymore? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 05:04 PM PST I have two best friends (they are sisters) and we used to talk about anything and everything. 3 months ago, I moved to a different state to live with my dad for a while (going back soon), but I didn't even think it would matter since I lived a few hours away from them back home and talked mainly over the internet anyways. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have much to do with that. They have stopped talking as much as they used to though (to me) and I know they have time since I see them talking with other friends in group chats we are all in. They know I don't really ever read them (I'm just in them because they are in them) and the other day I looked in it and they had been talking about how they got into a really good school (they are too young to go, but they got accepted), It was a huge deal and they didn't tell me? I guess I'm just kinda hurt since stuff like this has been going on for a while. Am I overreacting? What do you think about this? How can I fix it? |

Question: If a woman has friendzoned you, can you still win her over? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 04:18 PM PST Let's say she tells you "you're nice looking but I'm not interested." Is there anything you can do? What if she's interested in hanging out as friends? |
Question: Why am I getting so much bad karma? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 04:01 PM PST I grew up being really nice but people would bully me and all my friends would treat me really bad. My aunt would yell at me for no reason. My parents thought it would be funny to embarass me and lower my confidence even more. My sister is pretty and finished school and now has a job and is independent. Everybody loves her and treat me bad. During adolescence I turned extremely depressed, and I was mean to everyone that was mean to me or tried to take advantage of me, but then it seemed like everythings getting worst. When I started being bitter, my other aunts hated me too, although im now nicer but they can't seem to forget and hold a grudge against me, and I know if my sister did the same, they would still love her. I'm 24 and struggling in college, I have bpd and nursing is really hard to me, but to me what is the point in going to college for a job that doesnt pay. I dropped out of so many college programs. I have almost been betrayed by everyone I met. All the jobs I had people either treated me horrible for no reason, some because I was a slow learner. When I hang out in groups of three, my friends would team up on me. I'm not sure if my boyfriend loves me because he had flirt with people before, i dont know if he still does. One of my best friends that i cut out of my life, kept making fun of me and tried to make me feel dumb. Why do people try to hurt innocent people, I don't understand, I could understand if one person does it, but like EVERYONE? thats messed up. |
Question: What would you do in recovering after a friend completely ditched you for another friend? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 03:33 PM PST And is mean and cold to you now |
Question: Help my school won’t do anything about rape or sexual assault? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 03:03 PM PST on my birthday I brought couple of my friends back like (5) and one kid who I thought liked me started to feel me up and spread his legs over me when I was sitting on party bus but I pushed him away and told him stop and he kept feeling my boobs and my friend said **** off to him. anyways on my birthday I brought couple of my friends back like (5) and one kid who I thought liked me started to feel me up and spread his legs over me when I was sitting on party bus.( i'm 18) and (he's 17) but I pushed him away and told him stop and he kept feeling my boobs and my friend said **** off to him. anyways that night he picked me up and told him to give him bj and he grabbed me in a fire fighter carry into the other room, and told me to give him bj. I told my friend about it and he ended up telling my mom and my friends ended up taking the train back to school early to be talked to the principal. 2 people smoked and not the kid who touched me on the bus. he was sober. but my two others. well the school got mad at two kids who smoked and they got in trouble for smoking and the kid who touched me unwanted never gotten in trouble. so many of my friends saw him touching me and while my friend was sleeping he gotten in bed with her and touched her and grinding on her while she was dead asleep. my best friend who got touched by him in bed, also got raped by student in SCHOOL the school doesn't want to do anything about it because it was off campus, i think its so wrong that these kids get away from assaulting kids. it doesn't matter if its off campus, its the kids safety. the school thinks just because its off campus, they cant do anything the school also lets a raper walk the halls after raping my best friend. is it wrong that the school won't do anything? the school is blaming me and telling me its my fault when i said stop and no. on the party bus he wouldn't stop touching me and touching my thighs and boobs. the school thinks just because it was off campus that its not their responsibility. but they get mad for two kids who smoked weed and thats the biggest issue foe them? not girls who got assaulted? they said if all of this happen on campus they would be a expelled. but there was drugs, sexual harassment on campus and they never gotten in trouble. now the school is bullshitting my parents. my parents don't even want me to go back at this point, because they blame girls. btw i go to boarding school |
Question: Do you want to be friends? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 02:03 PM PST This is probably weird. Idk. I'm a 28 year old female, live in the Bay Area of California. I've never really had friends, underlying childhood issues. But I feel like it's affected my life in more then one way. But I'm at the point in my life where I really want friends. I've been dating someone rather seriously for the past year who has plenty of friends and it made me wonder why I've never actually be able to create friendships. I'm introverted, socially awkward- perfect recipe for friendship right (insert sarcasm here). But this whole message may get lost along the way, maybe it'll get a bunch of negative responses from trolls... or miraculously I'll find a friend. I have one friend, but it's my sister so she doesn't count, I don't think.. kinda feel like she's obligated and feels sorry for me that I can't make friends. So.... here goes nothing. |
Question: Should i go visit my friend? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 12:51 PM PST My friend is close with these 2 people - one of which i used to be friends with but she was always mean and i always felt left out so i stopped being friends with her and this affected my friendship with the friend i'm talking about. so those 2 people went to go visit her at her uni which i've never done. we were thinking of doing something for my bday when she's back from uni in a few months but should i ask to visit her at her uni too another time (not whilst they're there) or will it seem rude as she might've invited them to visit but has never asked me to visit her? i kind of feel jealous because we used to be close but the girl i stopped speaking to purposely left me out of the group so it affected my friendship and the other girl has never liked me. |
Question: I have a problem" with myself, that has to do with the past? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 12:39 PM PST I started university and I have friends there. But, when I was in highschool at the last year., I had a problem with my classmates. Half of my class tried to bull me(but i didnt let them and did everything not to let them) but they did till some point , laughing at me while I was saying the lesson ,etc. They were my friend, but then, starting from two person and then becoming a group they hated me. They also hated so much the fact that I had the best grades in my class and I was very good at everything I did. (However I saw there on google there were other people with sorta my problem) And now, in university, where I should be happy, I become sad thinking about the fact they can do the same. Im afraid that they will all hate me(as I also see I'm the best so far in my class). I know I just create problems that dont exist, but how can I not think about it? |
Question: I feel like a lot of people don’t understand me because I have social anxiety? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 12:33 PM PST So basically in groups I'm quiet unless if someone talks to me or if I'm comfortable around them enough to be quiet. It's not because I'm not confident, because I am but I've always been the quiet one. It just sucks because my boyfriend is the complete opposite. He can literally have a convo with someone he doesn't know and I'm very stand -offish not on purpose. I come off as bitchy because of my social anxiety and I feel like no one really understands it which is why no one wants to be my friend. I have a very hard time making friends. I'm very pretty and my friends are different than me. I guess I'm also an Alfa-female which makes me look like even more of a ***** |
Question: How can you tell if a male friend...? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 12:22 PM PST How can you tell if a male friend loves you (platonically, not romantically) without him saying it or showing you physical affection? (he's not the type) I think of him as a friend. I think he thinks of me as a friend, but I've never asked. We aren't super close, but we get along very well and we have a bond, if that makes sense. We connect very well. Pearl, can you be more specific? What are actions of a man who loves his female friend as a friend? |
Question: Is my friend in love with me? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 11:56 AM PST So I have a friend who I think they like me without realizing it, but I'm not so sure if that's how they feel or I'm just being weird? Do you think your friend is in love with you when: - They say they think a lot about you - They say they would get pissed off if you stopped talking to them even if there was a good reason - They say they would get lonely and feel melancholy because everything's going wrong when you're not around anymore - They say they always get positive energy when you're around Note that my friend is the type of person who loves helping others no matter what, but despite all that nobody likes him/her back, so this probably makes my friend a bit grateful for finding someone who loves them back, and that's what probably pushed them into saying things like that? I'd really appreciate your opinions! |
Question: What should I do when nobody lets me in around where I live? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 11:44 AM PST Everybody where I live is all the same, they stick together, and you have to be 'in' with all or you're out. Its like mini cliques. you typically gets accused or labeled 'different' and snubbed by them or bullied by them. Bullying is a common thing out here, as these people views 'different' as a major violation. The women typically don't hang with singled out, individual guys like I said-their guys friends all dress the same, talk the same, act the same and physically look alike. They tend to 'gang upon' somebody or 'come after' somebody and they typically seem to be against law and authority. They seem to be in cahoots with each other. I cannot join into cliques. I just cannot do it. So everybody around here is in 'packs' or 'mini cliques' and yes I do live in an uneducated area. What should I do? |
Question: Why are other women jealous of me? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 11:30 AM PST This sounds so stupid but a lot of women are jealous of me. I started my own business as a self published author. I don't make a lot of money and I'm not famous at all. I have meet famous authors and famous female actors that have thrown shade at me. Sometimes they block my blessings, whenever a good opportunity comes to me or they will spread rumors. I don't get it. They have a lot of money and they are famous, what is it that they are so jealous of. I have nothing. I'm such a good person and I have no idea what is going on. How do I deal with this? |
Question: How do I get my friend to stop giving me gifts as an apology? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 10:10 AM PST My friend and I are roommates and we live on campus (6 girls total in our apartment). We've had a few disagreements and instead of my friend changing her actions, she'll buy me something. Here are a few examples: she gave permission for one of our dorm-mates to eat my last piece of food (literally) and instead of her explaining to me why she did that, she offered to buy me a snack. Then, she kept leaving her UNWRAPPED bloody pads in our bathroom trash can, and I had to talk to her twice about that, and instead of her changing her actions, she bought me a bracelet each time. (I don't even wear bracelets, and I'm seriously debating on throwing them in the trash). So, I feel like buying people gifts as an apology is fake and insincere. To me, an apology is someone apologizing for what they did, and trying to change their actions. |

Posted: 10 Nov 2018 07:55 AM PST I don't have any friends that even bother to talk to me or hangout with me. I'm ALWAYS home on weekends with NOTHING to do except watch tv with my parents. I always have to text my "friends" first in order to talk to them. They never want to hangout or ask to hangout because they're "busy" or whatever. I'm 22 I should be going out on weekends but yet I just sit at home bored out of my mind. I can't meet anyone from work because I work by myself and don't work around others. I'm such a loser. My sister who's older than me has a friend that she hangs out with EVERY weekend and she hangs out with them all the time while I sit at home and be a loser because I don't have a life. |
Question: Too anxious to go to a friend's wedding? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 07:51 AM PST For the past 3 or so years I've been going through periods of depression where I cannot leave my house and anxiety that is only getting worse. Now it has gotten to the point where I am thinking about skipping one of my close friend's wedding. I have know him since I was 13 and consider him one of my closest friends. But I'm paralyzed with fear and get sick to my stomach just thinking about attending. All of my other friends are in the wedding party and while some of them have an idea about what I'm dealing with, it'll be hard for them to help feel comfortable me while fulfilling all of their duties. I know I will just be a nervous wreck the whole time. I know I should probably just be up front and tell the Groom how I'm feeling, but the thought of that makes me uncomfortable as well. What can I do? I appreciate any support or ideas. |
Question: Help! Is this a toxic friendship? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 05:59 AM PST My friend Ellie always tries to embarrass me and my other friends and she insults me but if I insult her she gets in a massive mood. But she can be really caring as well, since I have a disease she helps me carry my school bag, takes me to nurse and defends me if people are rude to me. But she also is a massive drama queen and cries and gets mad over nothing. She tends to flounce that she has been "diagnosed" with depression, and mentions it if people are being rude to her to make them feel bad. She also is really rude to her parents, lies sometimes and twists things. One of my good friends, Willow, is wrapped around her finger. Willow always does what she says, and looks up to her, which ain t good because she is a bad influence. She admires Ellie because Willow doesn t have many friends so shes happy that Ellie is willing to be hers. Is this toxic? Idk what to think. |
Question: Should I reconnect with an old best friend? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 05:58 AM PST It's true that best friend breakups are worse than breaking up with a significant other depending on who is your best friend anyway. Lately, I've been reminiscing on the nights that my old best friend and I spent together just talking for hours, discussing all the plans we had for the future, and helping her through her trauma from the past. I've been very much alone practically since we split, and I haven't been able to connect with anyone because a part of me wanted tp come back. Now, I'm very sure of it, yet I want to know if others say it's a good idea. We fell out because...it seemed like we no longer understood each other. I kept constantly panicking about how she was doing to the point where it was smothering her, and she could no longer support me in coping through loss. We decided it was better to split and only be friends. We haven't talked ever since. With a sound mind, I've been able to overcome many of my own problems of my own, but I miss her and I want to potentially become best friends again. Would it be worth the effort? |
Question: Is my friend in love with me? Posted: 10 Nov 2018 02:37 AM PST So I have a friend who I think they like me without realizing it, but I'm not so sure if that's how they feel or I'm just being weird? Question: My friend is sick! I have to to what he wishes before he dies? What i have to do? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 11:18 PM PST He is a 60 years old man and i am a 26 years old man. He lives in the same palace when i live. He is bisexual and he was always in love with my beauty (i have a cute, teenage and feminine face, very long blond hair, blue eyes, white skin and red lips) i work on him, in his house and i sleep in a room for me, i have to cook for him, i have to clean his house, i have to wash his hair etc. I'm just like a wife for him. He is very happy with me, I always talk to him every night on his bedroom, before sleep and i wear pajamas and sheer black pantyhose under pajamas because it's very cold! So, one night he asked to me if i could make him an handjob and a footjob when i wear sheer black pantyhose! It's very disgusting but it's his last wish before he dies! I have to accept? "I have to do what he wishes...", i'm sorry for my bad english. |
Question: I prefer female friends over male friends? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 10:53 PM PST I'm a guy at college For some reason, I love having female friends more than guyfriends. I feel like guys are inmature and can't treat women right. Not only that, most guys are disgusting! I love hanging out with girls better because most of them are more serious and I love girly girl type of girls. Also I can tell girls more about my personal secrets and my love stories rather than telling love stories with my guyfriends. Many of my guyfriends make fun of me for telling love stroies. Is this a problem? |
Question: Am I being TOO nice to my friends? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 09:23 PM PST This friend always poke my lunch food and playfully steal it just to put back on my tray. After that I no longer want to eat it. I give her a lot of my food because of that. She takes advantage of that. If I have grapes on my tray she would grab a lot of them not caring that it's my damn grapes. I didn't eat the grapes either. I would buy some lunch snacks and give her a pack to show my friendship, but I was too nice so shes been asking me to use my money to buy her snacks and give all my food to her. Unbelievable. Of course I pretended to not be pissed and shared my food with her. She is adopted and she has little money. She has been begging me to let her have my old iPhone every since I got a new samsung.IIn science class she wants to use my ear buds but I gave her lots of hints no but in the end I gave up and let her use it. That's like sharing earwax...not to mention she's not a lesbian but she can't keep her hands to herself. I also have germophobe which makes things worse for me. Okay on to the next friend. Sorry if I sound rude but I'm telling the truth. I'm rude as hell at home but at school im also mean but I'm a pushover when it's my friends. I know. Ironic and sad. This friend is a lesbian. I endure her weird behavior everyday. She is bullied by many almost everyday but to be honest, if I wasn't friends with her she'd be bullied by me too. She tells random guys that she's their dad. Am I too nice? Why am I acting like I don't mind at all? |
Question: Is $75 for gas money too much? I said i can work with you for a week for that much. Then she said well whats half i said what did you have in mind and then she goes oh nevermind then. Mind you these are her prices. Posted: 09 Nov 2018 08:44 PM PST He didn't actually marry on the cruise; he flew to her city, got married, and went on the cruise for their honeymoon. I thought that he was my close friend, but apparently not. |
Question: Is it okay to ignore people I don’t like? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 07:41 PM PST I tend to ignore and avoid people I don't like. I don't insult them or do anything bad to them but I just ignore them. Does this make me a bad person? |
Posted: 09 Nov 2018 06:52 PM PST I offered to pay for her ticket, she said she really wanted to see this movie. I've had a crush on her a while and we've been friends but just started hanging out instead of just talking. We're seeing another movie too in a couple weeks and again she'll pay for her half. I said I wanted to just go out with her and didn't mind paying but she insists. Not meanly, but does this mean I have zero chance of a relationship with her? She said she's love to go with me. We've shared personal stuff with each ther last few weeks cause we needed help. Like if she was having a good mental health day last week she told me about it. I don't know maybe I'm thinking too much |
Question: Does this mean this person doesn't want to be my friend anymore? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 06:02 PM PST They haven't replied to my text for nearly 10 days now. Throughout this entire time, I've seen them on snapchat so I know they've been online somewhat. I didn't do anything for them not to respond and I don't think they forgot because we are used to talking to each other every few days. |
