My husband knew it was my birthday today because a few days ago we talked and I told him the only thing I wanted was a nice cupcake from a bakery and even told him where a few were. When we got up this morning he didn't say "Happy Birthday" or anything like it before he left for work. He's been on his phone for breaks because he has shared stuff on twitter and facebook but no Happy Birthday text or message or anything. I very much doubt he will get me a cupcake because he was complaining about how out of the way and far the bakery was (7 min drive from his work). We've been together for 5 years and I've never forgotten his birthday. I always get him a card and gift, make him whatever he wants for dinner, make a cake, give him a long back massage...the whole 9 yards. He used to do nice stuff for my birthday too but this year it's as if he decided to completely ignore it. I haven't been pushy or annoying about it, so I don't see a real reason for him to ignore it. I'm really hurt that he just doesn't care enough to so much as tell me "Happy birthday"...he likes to celebrate birthdays and they are important to him, he is already talking about what we should do for ours sons upcoming 1st birthday and would be very upset if I didn't celebrate HIS birthday...I just don't understand why he thinks he shouldn't have to celebrate mine...

I met my husband 2 months after I got pregnant, we got married in July. Our son was born in early August and he willingly signed the birth certificate, I didn't even know till he brought it upstairs to me in the hospital. 3 weeks after our baby was born he split and went cheating on me back home, then canceled our apartment lease took everything and abandoned us. I got served with divorce papers 3 months of our sons life and he no longer wants to be on the birth certificate (this is taking place in California) has this happened to anyone? I want him to stay on the birth certificate. He took on the responsibility the whole pregnancy and signed up for the responsibility and I don't think it's right he said he signed the birth certificate out of love and now I guess my son is just not good enough to be loved by him? I don't have enough money for a lawyer. He got one though. Any advice would be appreciated. Please don't bash me, I was stupid for believing him, but I'm already paying for it enough.

Here's what happened my husband was apparently at work till 2 am last night called at 8 PM he says I'll be home in an hour I have a deadline need to work,2 his go by same story finally comes at 2 am.i look up at the credit history and it shows a 180 dollar charge to a strip club 2 hrs away from where we stay! He comes home and I ask what this charge (it actually came up as golf and travel services)he says oh fraud I say ok call up and report .in the morning he comes clean says he was there he apparently has erectile dysfunction for past few months and needed to go to a club to figure it out also he will get some tests done !!! What should I do about this, he says he just had drinks there no dances (lols) and he didnt even get an erection(bull) hes like I'm sorry I shouldn't have gone let's get over this

We barely have any savings, and a round trip ticket for a family of 3 will cost atleast 1,800. This would take away from the children's holiday gifts and I don't think it's fair to anyone. Especially our 2 year old daughter whom we have a set budget for. I was planning on mailing his son his gifts and hoping that we could go visit after the holidays are over so we have more time to book a flight at a cheaper cost. If we go home we have to worry about budgeting for everyone else's gifts on top of the flights and right now I rather keep our money since we barely have 5k in our savings at the time. Am I being selfish or am I being logical?

I believe you are supposed to wait until marriage to have sex, but I have had really good experiences and really, really bad. I was so grateful I did not marry that person, because I would be miserable, have to cheat, or divorce them even though that isn't Biblical.

I asked in my previous question if my husband and cousin are having an emotional affair. A little background: theyve been texting a lot, husband calls her pretty, cute, nice voice, says that to my face, calls me ugly and hideous personality, he sends selfies to her, caught him deleting her texts, read a few texts in which she tried playing hard to get while he mildly flirts. He says hes not into her and if he was to have an affair it wouldnt be with my cousin..It is forbidden for me to touch my husbands phone. No access at all. Where the heck did he get such a scenario from? My gut feeling is that hes actualky talking about my cousin. I asked him if this was actually true and he said "omg youre so crazy it was just a joke why are you taking things so seriously?" This is making me suspicious..what do you think? How should I confront him with evidence? I have no access to his phone..thanks.
