Posted: 22 Nov 2018 01:35 AM PST A few summers ago, me and my used to be best friend (enemy) got into a fight and my boyfriend is best friends with him. Whenever my enemy is around us I feel awkward and tense. I haven t told my boyfriend he s my enemy because I don t want to upset him or ruin their friendship. I just really don t know what to do in this kind of situation and need help.. |

Question: Would you still ask, even if things were rocky? Posted: 21 Nov 2018 10:28 PM PST I'm going through a lot due to the fact that I lost my mom a month ago. My boyfriend was putting way too much priority on our relationship the past month and was concerned that I wasn't putting enough priority on our relationship. That upset me, so I asked for space. We didn't talk for a week. During the break, he went with his best friend to a bar (he never goes to bars). I trust him, I know he didn't do anything bad, mainly because he had to babysit his drunk bestie all night. I just wondered why he didn't at least ask me if it was okay to go to the bar. I'm not his mother, he doesn't need my permission, but it would've been nice if he respected me enough to make sure it was okay. Would you have still asked if it was okay, even if things were rocky? I would never go out to a bar or anything like that without seeing if it would upset my boyfriend, first. I guess it irks me because my last ex left me staying the night at my best friend's house (which was the last time I saw him) while he went off to the club (he said he was going home) and that's where/when he found the girl he left me for. Again, I completely trust my boyfriend. (He's even told me I could look through his phone if I want and I never do because I trust him) I just wish he would've said something, ya know? I plan on marrying him one day and I guess I just don't want to worry that every time things aren't good between us, that he'll go to the bar with his sidekick. By the way, his best friend ALSO has a girlfriend. I wanted to make sure I'm not the only one who would be upset at this. |
Posted: 18 Nov 2018 10:22 PM PST I mean what do even "friends" , relatives, or good neighbors mostly talk about? and why would want to ? why not ask deep questions like can on yahoo answers ? I cant just go up to people and start asking them deep questions about philosophy or history , or society or politics or some specific question regarding repairing my vehicle or computer or other item in home & garden like I do here....so what is so great about conversations in "the real world"? same fake, small mindless talk, chatter? why would want that? or what is missing? |
