Ok so.. he been friends with his co worker for about 5 years now.. so couple years ago when I was pregnant she showed me her son crib n dresser set and said she was giving it to me because we need it. My husband is a recovering addict. It used to be that, when he was in recovery he would not use or drink. But it got to a point where he started to drink and almost every time he started to drink he has ended up using. It didn't happen all at once but it did happen, that's how it always starts, with the drinking. I don't like him drinking because of what has happened in the past but he continues to do so, saying he's a grown man and I cant tell him what to do, and its crazy that I feel the way I do. Out of his own mouth in the past he has said, that drinking is not good for him. Yet he still does it. So I don't understand.. why is he doing this? Should I just sit back and not say anything about the drinking anymore? Is he ignoring how I feel about his drinking because he doesn't care about me? Should I leave him because he doesn't care? I have sat down and cried to him about how much I hate it because of what has happened in the past and he doesn't change

So, my husband says I am a dependant because he pays all of the rent. I pay for literally everything else. He recently he can t even pay the phone bill. I told him I carry my weight because I provide everything he can t provide. Even for the kids, he pays for nothing they need. He only pays the rent and his child support. Is this a form of mental abuse? His job is to clean the refrigerator out. I got home from grocery shopping and there were tubs of rotting salad mix, veggies, etc. I pointed out there was rotting food and he gets all huffy puffy saying it's mental abuse when I point out that jobs aren't done sufficiently. Wow it's been almost 5 yrs since I came on here. My wife and I had our first son and now he's 3. She hangs out with him a lot and barely talks to me. To her, it's like I don't exist anymore.
