Question: What should I do about this boy at highschool? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 03:34 PM PST Basically at the beginning of the year I met this guy we'll call Jason in one of my classes. Jason and I added eachother on social media and became friends and talked a lot, but than I got mad at him about something and we made up after like 3 days but than we both started teasing eachother and stuff. It's gotten to the point now where all he does is say mean stuff to me and about me and i've asked him to stop, he keeps claiming I make him suicidal and he has blocked me on all social media because I comment on his snapchats making him suicidal..... today he told me that my stupid white suburban self wouldn't understand depression if I tried, I took offense to this because I do have depression and I have a lot of issues I am trying to push under my own rug and forget about... Anyways he continued to say mean stuff about me and I asked him to stop and he kept going on about how my existence makes him want to die and yadda yadda yadda.... Now I feel bad and it seems toxic what should I do? |
Posted: 09 Nov 2018 12:17 PM PST so we mutually agreed to leave each other be, as our friendship was getting dramatic and neither of us were really being nice to the other. lately he messages me every once in a while trying to start conversation? he will reply to most of my snapchat stories too. does he want to be friends or not? I am confused |
Question: Any chance she thinks of me as more than friends? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 11:40 AM PST We became friends and became closer for the past few months since we go to the same college. I was able to hangout with her on campus and outside of campus more often when we were in the same lectures together but not anymore, so I'm not trying to be pushy. I asked her if she will be free on Sunday to go have lunch/dinner with me. She replied asking me if it's okay that she let me know because she's unsure of how things are going. I tried to back out apologizing for bad timing and she said that I'm not a bother at all, no need to apologize and she would go with me but at the moment it's unclear so she will let me know. I don't know because, I try to make time to hangout with her and she has hung out with me despite having other schedule and not being in the same class. But in terms of slightest possibilities is that we hug quite often? I was having working on my assignment when she walked by, saw me, chatted for a bit, gave me a hug and went to take a break with me etc. I don't know if that counts for anything, those kind of things between us. |

Question: Why does my friend avoid me when I tell her I'm upset over a girl? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 08:58 AM PST I told her how I feel heartbroken over a girl and my friend doesn't really respond to anything I say about it. |
Question: Do you guys think she did this cause i search for her on instagram ? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 08:46 AM PST today when i went on my friends instagram account and i search for this girl that i had a crush on back in high school so i went to profile but it was on private i guess i pressed follow or something because later when i went to acount again she delete some of her pic her post has now 13 and she change her profile pic to a drawing |
Question: What to do for my birthday? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 08:18 AM PST Okay so im having my birthday in a couple of days. and im tryin to plan **** for it but idk what to do. its gonna be me and a couple of friends and were more into punk stoner stuff so basically down for anything. we have a car so thats not an issue. i live kinda in the middle of nowhere but i love old bridges and things like that where there's graffiti and ****. im makin special brownies and were taking my best friends weed virginity so that's exciting but i really want something fun that we could do at like 2 am. theres a covered brige where supposedly a little girl died and its haunted so i was thinking that but i really wanna have a killer night and go **** **** up. im pretty down for any suggestuons but please nothing about how "i shouldn't smoke pot" cause there's really nothing bad about it and I'd like to consider myself very responsible and safe around drugs.. also if anyone knows a website that has pretty cheap Polaroid cameras with colored film would be great. i wanna take photos of the night. |
Question: I'm not sure if if I'm being selfish or if this is acceptable behavior from a friend? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 08:03 AM PST My friend was tight on money so she said she had to postpone my birthday gift until a later date. I understood it was hard for her so I was fine with postponing. However, about 10 months pass and she had still not gotten back to me about my birthday, but her boyfriend's birthday was coming up so naturally she plans a nice dinner and present for him on time. I felt a bit hurt that she still hadn't gotten back to me and didn't say anything about it. When my birthday comes around a few months later, she said she was doubling up on my present by taking me out to eat at a nice restaurant (the price was $50 per person). I appreciated it, but couldn't help thinking that in the past, she's gotten her past boyfriends whole gaming consoles as gift before and we recently got into a fight about this. She was saying that what she did for my birthday made up for the last birthday where she couldn't get me anything. Am I being selfish and unappreciative that I'm still a bit upset that she made sure to be timely for her boyfriend and not me? Also, wouldn't it be normal to get back to me first despite her "doubling up" for my birthday? I'm conflicted about whether what she did was fine or if I'm being selfish. My friends and I regularly get each other gifts for holidays and birthdays to address what our gift gifting is like. |
Question: I am an 18 year old mom with literally no friends or family, how do I cope? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 07:55 AM PST I have a two year old little boy who I love so much! I also have a boyfriend, he is the father of my child and we live together and are doing good. However, my bf works all day while I stay with our little one, and my loneliness is getting worse and worse. Ever since I got pregnant I have had no friends, I have recently tried to even reach out to people and they just don't have any interest in me. I used to have so many friends but I guess it isn't cool to hang out with someone who has a kid and acts responsible at this age. I used to only talk to my family but recently that has changed because my mom only wants to talk to me when she wants money.. I have given her so much money and I'm done helping her. My boyfriends family doesn't like me at all, they put up with me but we are just two completely different types of people. So I'm starting to think I'll have to do this thing called life with my little family and only them, but it gets to me sometimes that I don't have a close friend I can go to or get out of the house with. I guess I just needed to rant to the only place I can, the internet lol. Thanks for listening! |
Question: How can I surprise my wife on her birthday? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 05:57 AM PST Me (27) and my wife (23) have been married for two years. We met in a restaurant she used to work at and our relationship went from there, she is a very shy and respectful girl, My life was pointless and empty without her, she stood by me through thick and thin. We are very close to each other and we do everything together, we go for walks, we have picnics, watch movies, cook, I help her with cleaning. I'm a maintenance guy and she's a cleaning lady so our financial situation is not very good but she is very understanding, we live in a small one bedroom apartment. Now her birthday is right around the corner and I can't think of a special way to surprise her and show her how appreciative and lucky I'm for having her. Any advice ? Thanks in advance. |
Question: Should I tell my roommate to wrap her pads or just ignore it? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 04:26 AM PST My college roommate doesn't wrap her pads, and I've talked to her about this several times, and she still doesn't get it. For example, when she's on her period, she'll wrap the pad wrapper, but not the pad. Then, she uses wipes (when she's on her period or when she poops) and instead of wrapping those up, she'll just put them in the trash, exposed. She does the same thing with her panty liners. She'll wrap the wrapper, but not the pad. However, now, she just rolls the pad (panty liner), but sometimes the pad unrolls and you can see the discharge left on it. So should I tell her to wrap her pads in the pad wrapper? Then, I asked her if she was taught how to properly dispose of her pads, and she said yes, and that the reason for her not wrapping her pads was because she forgot she was on her period and freaked out. She's 20 |
Question: I miss my friend but he's bad at picking up the phone, should I call? Posted: 09 Nov 2018 01:45 AM PST I usually try to mete it out so we're both taking turns. I left a couple of short emails as proxy for voicemail earlier this week so it's his turn but I think I'm overthinking the whole thing and should just do it. Sometimes I get busy & I like it when friends call or text a quick nudge, should I do the same, or is this too much a one sided friendship? He's a little bit standoffish but I think things are generally fine. |
Question: Do you think I should pay them a visit? Posted: 08 Nov 2018 11:32 PM PST First of all, I'm too nice, and people take advantage of me because of that. It's my fault too, but I just can't help it, it's who I am. Anyways, my ex girlfriend and old work colleagues texted me that they wanted to see me at my former job. However, I'm contemplating on whether to go or not because everyone there were assholes to me. I hated working there because everyone relied way too much on me since nobody wanted to work. My boss was an ***, and took advantage of me. I was getting paid less than a coworker who hated her job. But yet, she got a raise and quit a month later. I stayed way much longer! I couldn't even ask for a raise. He treated me like I was stupid, and publicly humiliated me multiple times in front of customers. However, I been hearing he's a mess now because I quit. Plus, no one else will work as good as I did. As pathetic as it is, he called me twice in the past three months to see if I would work for him again. And my ex girlfriend and former friend who used to work with me were dating. He quit the job because he was "treated unfair," but he was just lazy. He did nothing all day and talked. Even though, he doesn't work there anymore, the loser still goes there. I'm sure his lazy *** is too lazy to find work elsewhere because if the job he had was "hard" than every job he gets is worse. And another coworker who's been there longer than me is dating our former supervisor. They were mean to me, and made me do their work. And another coworker, who's a middle aged woman, still acts like a teenager. I tried so hard to help her, but the idiot stays with a guy who robbed her car, threatened to beat her up. Cheats on her, and has mad jealousy issues. And there's some more former colleagues that I'm leaving out, but you get the gist, right? And these people expect me to visit them because they miss me? **** them, they're cancer, and they're all ****** up in the head. After how they treated me, I really should just move on with my life. But yet, like I said, I'm still somewhat nice, so I feel sorry for them, and feel like I should say "hey" at least. Idk, what would you do? |
Question: Can you be friends with adults like this? Posted: 08 Nov 2018 11:28 PM PST Are these type of people the same? Have you met anyone like this & was it hard to remain friends with them? Ever knew someone whose parents kind of did everything for them? I don't want to say "everything" because they neglected teaching their kid some independence from teen years to adulthood. I've met people who I thought were all around nice people, but they've been sheltered and choose not to make a change. It's like their parents turned them into a soggy piece of bread. I find it hard to be friends with people like this because they always want you to visit them, they never put effort into arranging plans, and conversation is always meaningless. They literally don't know how to go anywhere alone or be alone unless they're in their house. The entitlement that everything should be handed to them, or fall in their lap, no effort whatsoever so their "friendships" seem rather cold and distant. |
Question: Would a real friend do this? Posted: 08 Nov 2018 11:07 PM PST This chick I met through a job who I was friends with for 2 years ended up being pretty shady. I introduced her to a fun hangout spot & she started going there alone, a lot! Which is fine but every week she had new stories about all these different guys she would meet & slept with. Some stories were full of drama cause these guys had girlfriends. Then she slept with the owner who was kind of my friend not really anymore after he started treating me different after they slept together. It was just 1 or a few lousy hookups between them. (I don't want to seem judgemental & keep an open mind. She can sleep with whoever she wants) What broke my trust with her is she became friends with my ex boyfriend without mentioning it to me. But she's the type of person who always has annoying juicy gossip that no one asks for. Does this sound like female narcassism at its finest? She constantly boasts about her day being shitty life sucks blah blah always on the hunt for sex and validation even at the cost of losing friends |

Question: *Urgent* How do I recover months old messages from Whatsapp? Posted: 08 Nov 2018 11:01 PM PST I am involved in an argument that I have to pull out the "receipts" to prove that I am correct in the situation... but here's the problem. The messages were sent during late May 2018 to early June 2018 and the person and I chat quite often so Whatsapp doesn't let me scroll up higher than Late June 2018. Can someone help me recover those said "receipts". I really want to prove this ***** wrong, so help me out, y'all. |

Question: Is it normal/healthy to lose friends? Posted: 08 Nov 2018 10:22 PM PST I'm in my 20's and I'm officially at 0 girl friends. I have lots of acquaintances on my social media I occasionaly talk to but never really in depth. I talk to mostly my mom and my sister. I talk to mostly males than females because guys can simply talk about everything other than their boring every day life and I feel less stressed talking about random things. Females make me feel worried and stressed, constantly always talking about their struggles, excuses, complaints, and gossip which all trigger my depression that I deal with on and off. Eventually I find myself distancing myself from fenale "friends" they either not care that I slowly walked away or if they do send me a message it's about them self and their problems. I don't make myself available to be some sort of emotional dumpster. I always ask to go do fun things and they never follow through. Thinking it's just time to save up and move to a new city somewhere else. |
Question: What is so wrong with me? Posted: 08 Nov 2018 08:40 PM PST I don't get it. Why am I always second choice, the one who people only invite out after they've asked everyone else? I had a pretty traumatic couple of months and was finally invited out to dinner by a family friend and my sister. I was excited and waited all day to hear from her for where to meet. I never heard so I texted asking. I didn't hear back for hours and she said "sorry, we decided to do it just ourselves. Maybe next time." I feel so hurt. This happens all the time with other people and I don't get it. I'm overly nice, go out of my way to help people and I never get anything back. When I speak up and say how I feel, I get even more hurt by them. I've been taught at a very young age to shut my mouth and don't make other uncomfortable...but I'm the one who's always had to be uncomfortable to make everyone else comfortable. Why won't anyone listen to me?? Why doesn't anyone want to hang out with me? I feel like I'm such a burden and like I'd be better off living in a cave alone. I give up trying. I am so sad and feel like I'm nothing but a burden and that people are just tolerating me. I don't know what to do anymore. |
Question: Should I give my ex another chance? Posted: 08 Nov 2018 07:40 PM PST He broke up with me a year ago after we graduated from college. We were together for 6 years and he ended it cuz he didn't see himself settling down anymore. He told me that his main priority was to work, save money and fulfill his dreams. I was completely heartbroken and to make it worse, he started seeing someone 3 months after our breakup. I confronted him about it and he told me that it was to get over me which I of course didn't buy. It's been 9 months and after that day, I had no connection with him till I received a text from him last night. Him: "You probably want nothing to do with me anymore and I don't blame you but I miss you so much. I regret making that horrible decision. I'm still so deeply in love with you Maya. Something always feels missing and I know it's you. Can we please meet up and talk? I want to apologize in person and just see you. Let me know?" I never understood why he left me cuz it's not like I was getting in his way. Now that he has his dream car and everything, he wants me back. |
Question: Should I let go of this friend? Posted: 08 Nov 2018 07:38 PM PST I don't expect people to respond to me right away but I have this friend who has been on social media consistently and despite that, they haven't responded to my text message in a week. They could have forgot to reply although I find that unlikely since for years we were in a routine of talking once every couple of days. I'm not trying to accuse them of anything, I just don't want to be where I'm not wanted. I've been waiting to see if they'd reply back to me because if they truly care about our friendship they would. I might reach out to them once more if they don't text me in the days that follow. This has happened before on occasion with them. I can't really rely on them for stuff because they don't ever follow through. For example, they say they will call at a certain time and then they don't end up calling or even sending a text real quick saying they aren't able to talk. It's like they leave me in the dust sometimes. |
Question: What is the meaning of will you relocate on adult friend finder? Posted: 08 Nov 2018 07:35 PM PST |
Question: Has anyone forgave someone's debt before...as in a personal loan? Posted: 08 Nov 2018 07:27 PM PST After 3 years, I chose to forgive my friends debt. Its been 3 years, and even though we are friends, I felt like the issues about money were not moving the friendship/relationship forward. We were always fighting about money. Her birthday is next month, and I chose to forgive her debt. (which is around $3-5k) Anyways, how did you feel after forgiving someone's debt? I feel okay. Yeah, money is great. But money is the root of all evil, right? |
Question: Any chance she feels uncomfortable with me? Posted: 07 Nov 2018 07:53 PM PST I've hung out with her fairly often before, on campus and outside of campus, just two of us when we were in the same classes, which we are no longer. Recently there had been a misunderstanding where I was sort of shunning her, where she reached out to meet up for food and talk things out. After that I was careful, thinking she might be uncomfortable. But When I asked her to have coffee with me, she hung out with me and still gave me hugs. A few days ago, I ran into her in the library, where we talked for a bit, asked her to get coffee, she had coffee with me and had a nice in between study break. I mentioned about a new restaurant close by, she seemed curious and excited. So I suggested that we should go when she is not busy. She told me "when you have time, because it seems you're busier than me" so two days later, I msged her asking if she wants to go this weekend, but she wants me to let me know later because she has a deadline for a class she needs to meet. Does she feel awkward about hanging out with me? I have mutual friends in the class and I know she's busy. Does she want to hangout with me or has she drawn the line? I do not stalk her like you do per say or text her everyday like one of the user, who answered. |
