Question: My best friends baby shower is coming up, and I don’t have money for a gift? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 06:04 PM PST I don't know what I should do. I feel terrible. We have been best friends, practically sisters for almost 8 years. She's having a baby shower in 2 and a half weeks and I don't have money to get her a gift. I really do not want to show up if I don't have something to give her, that is pretty much the whole point of the baby shower. But if I didn't show up I would feel like a terrible friend. What do I do? I recently moved and don't have a car so getting to my old job was just too hard, and I haven't found a job yet that's close by enough to take the bus or something so that's why I don't have any money. I don't have any one I can borrow money from either. I know she has a lot of things already prepared for baby but she still needs some other things too |

Question: Is this weird? (Read below pls)? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 05:19 PM PST More than 15 years ago I was alienated by friends in elementary school which led me to be alone with time I kinda adapted this habit. i like being alone even toughI have friends. Im 25 now and that event of my life is the reason why, I believe. Is it weird that its still stuck with me? |
Question: I haven't had sex since September will my vagina feel tight? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 05:01 PM PST I had sex with a guy in September if I have sex with another guy in December or January will I feel tight to him? |
Question: What is the difference between a best friend and a significant other? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 04:39 PM PST To clarify, I'm not asking because I think someone likes me or that I like someone or that I'm confused. Here's my situation: I have been with my girlfriend for 10 months now. Our summer was very stressful for her because she was worried she wouldn't find a job before we moved and that she wouldn't be able to afford anything or be able to do anything for the rest of her life, then when she did get a job, there was a bunch more stress because it was a really crappy summer job. THEN, she left that job and become even more stressed about the same reasons above, but even more so. She finally landed a job that is good and good for her. I'd say all this stress started up about the time we were getting out of the honey-moon phase of our relationship, so we didn't really have a chance to bond as simply best friends. SO, we want to try and work on being better friends than we were when we met. The problem is, neither of us are very sure how to do that while being able to detach that we've known each other really well for the past 9 months or so. What are ways to function as friends even though we've been in a relationship for many months? Thanks all for your responses. I know it's a tough question. By the way, I'm a guy. We are a female-male relationship. I feel like that information is important. |
Question: Is it weird that my college teacher wants to know these things for my project? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 03:42 PM PST My subject is essentially my state's history, and my teacher wants an entire page of the architecture and history of my house, an entire floorplan of my house, three pictures of my house, and a map to get to my house from the campus. the second part of the project is essentially the same except I'm doing this for someone else's house, and again, he wants pictures of their house, floorplan, etc. He even said in class that "it's kinda weird to take candid pictures of someone's house, so just do a drive by picture" everyone in the class also said it was creepy/weird |
Question: What should I do in this situation? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 03:37 PM PST So there's a girl at schools that's been bothering me, my sister, and my best friend for several years. She's an awful human being. I have tried to be friends with her SEVERAL TIMES but to no avail. Now before I tell you this, keep it mind that my twin sister is the nicest most kind hearted person in the world, but she has a small mental disability and is in one or two "special" classes. Then one day my sister accidentally hits the mean girl with a basketball and my kind sister apologizes profusely and there's nothing more of it. Until a few minutes later the mean girl throws a basketball at her face, calls her a ***** and the basketball hits my sister. My parents say that we cant get the girl in trouble because none of the gym teachers saw it so it's the mean girl's word against ours. But I still feel like I want to do SOMETHING. What should I do? |

Question: My friend is really sassy towards me and I’m sick of it. What should I tell her? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 02:57 PM PST My friend and I met last year in our university's marching band. Actually, I wouldn't call her a friend, she's more like a person whom I really get along well with in the band. Anyway, I've noticed that she has a really sarcastic personality, but sometimes she comes off as "bitchy" and not "sassy". For example, we have a group chat with our section of the band, and there's one member always asking "obvious" questions, and instead of responding in a nice way, she'll say something sassy, that'll make everyone else say, "you need to chill". During football games, we sing our school's anthem, and one time while we were singing, I sung a few incorrect notes and she said, "wow, you really can't sing! No offense though!" She's from Michigan (we go to school in Michigan) and I'm from Alabama, so I'm not used to 30 degree weather. So one day, we were sitting outside and I was shivering and I said, "I'm so cold" and she responds with, "it's really not that cold". Mind you, it was 27 degrees out, and I'm used to (at the lowest) 65 degree weather. So, I really don't like her "sassy" comments/personality, and I don't know what to do, because when she's not being sassy, I actually get along with her. |
Question: Why do people hate each other years on end? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 02:55 PM PST I get hating a person for something. I once hated a boy for attempting to use my best friend for sex; however, even though I regret wasting energy on hating the boy, a lot of people tell me that it was one of the circumstances where I had a reason hate; however, there are people who hate each other for so long that they forget what they're even mad about. Even my hate for the stupid user didn't last for four months. |
Question: I want to forgive my friend.? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 02:35 PM PST she ignored so i ignored her and now we don't talk at allllllll but i miss her and i want to be friends with her again. We weren't best friends we were sisters. I know it was her fault but i miss her. I want to forgive her but without speaking because i am a shy person. Any ideas. |
Question: What do I do about my annoying friends? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 02:08 PM PST Last year, I was a really negative person and made friends with some "sunshiny" girls because I was too scared to actually go find people that I related to. I took the easy route because, of course, they were nice enough to be my friends. Since then, I think I ve grown, and I have a sense of what I want. Now, I know what my type of friend is and I ve branched out. What really bothers me is that I don t want to be friends with those girls anymore. They are so unlike me, and their constantly bouncy attitude really bothers me. Sometimes, I need to joke around and be crazy with my real friends. I feel as if I m living a lie, and I m going to explode. Update: I don't want to hurt their feelings! They don't deserve it |
Question: How late you stay at party if nobody go on date with you? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 01:06 PM PST Will you stay at party as long as you found a new girlfriend? Or you will give up once the crowds get less and less? Or just stay at party till sunrise? I heard sometime people got lucky like when party is over 5 am, you walk out with crowds of people, you noticed girl dropped her key before get in car, you pick it up and then pretending you need ride and hopefully she offering you ride and at end you slept with her at her place. |
Question: Was this a really bad faux pas? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 12:35 PM PST I accidentally said this to my friend " if my car got dented my husband would have a heart attack". Only later remembered her husband died of a heart attack before we met! Should I say something? She didn't seem to really react much. |

Question: Lost my friends because I left a fandom? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 12:04 PM PST Within the last year or so, I have made a lot of new friends due to our common liking of the Korean pop group BTS. I'm sure you know who they are; they're literally everywhere. I used to be pretty obsessed with this group. I had a huge crush on one of the members, listened to their music every day, and even bought their merchandise. Mostly their little stuffed animal characters (BT21). I am 20 years old, and lately I've felt my interest in them dwindling. I realized, sure, they're talented people. But they are just people at the end of the day. I sort of stopped kissing up to them as if they're gods. And I snapped into reality. My friends, on the other hand, are still wildly obsessive over BTS. I let them know that I am not as interested but I would still like to be friends and they got angry with me, saying that must mean I am a "fake fan" and they stopped talking to me altogether. My friends are between the ages of 19-23. We are all in college, and I have no idea why they'd act this way over a boy band. Should I just let them go? I don't think it's worth trying to reconcile with them if they are so childish. What do you think? |
Question: Does my cartridge have a hit taken from it? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 11:32 AM PST So I just got a new cart for my dab pen, but my friend bought it for me and he showed me it with the package already opened and now I see a bubble in the cart? Does this mean he took hits of it before he gave it to me, i don't want to confront him blindly. |
Posted: 26 Nov 2018 10:56 AM PST I'm a slightly chubby, 5'7 geek in college. I destroy everyone in poker. This cute senior chick challenged me. I said 20 bucks. She said "how about your clothes?" I figured it was a chance to get laid finally. Instead, 30 minutes later, she only lost 1 shoe. She said "Finders keeps, losers weepers." And made me run home, across the entire quad, about 1 and a half miles, as naked as a jaybird. Will I ever live this down?! To the girls out there, what do you find funniest to imagine about my predicament? I'm trying to see what I can expect my female friends to think and say to me?? |
Posted: 26 Nov 2018 10:38 AM PST On Fox & Friends Ron Colburn had this to say about OC pepper spraying migrants rushing the fence, "It's natural. You could actually put it on your nachos and eat it." |
Question: Should I rekindle my friendship? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 09:40 AM PST My childhood friend since 5th grade and I stop being friends 2016 we where 18 we are now 21. We stop being friends once I had a boyfriend and I started to hang out with my boyfriend more only cause she was always busy. When It was my birthday I didn't invite her and I didn't invite her my high school graduation and she didn't invite me to her birthday dinner. We started hanging with other people. At that point I cut her off and we stop talking. A whole year leading up to 2018 she text me explaining about everything how we ending everything was run I kind of brush her r off cause I felt she waited this long why worrying about the friendship. Now its another year later I feel i was being childish and want to see if we can go back to being friends but slow. Should I try to talk to her and explain and see if she willing to be friends again. |
Posted: 26 Nov 2018 09:26 AM PST I just don't know what to do with myself today. I don't have work today or school. I have no homework today because we just ended our trimester. I only have one friend and he is sleeping and then going to work. What should I do? I have a car so I can drive around. I live in Birmingham Michigan, about a half hour from Detroit. |
Question: I don’t like my best friends friends? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 09:04 AM PST Obviously I'm not gonna tell her to stop hanging out with them , but i just hate them. First of all, they act very immature. Like, they obnoxiously laugh really loud, make childish jokes and yeah. One of them made fun of fat people. Another one made fun of someone who has a disbability saying 'she only uses her disability to get special treatment' and she smells like really bad (I've known her for a really long time and she's always smelt bad). One of her friends is alright and someone who's actually descent to talk to. I don't know what to do because I obviously can't tell my friend to stop hanging around with them |
Question: Why is she rude to me? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 08:26 AM PST I don't really talk to her i am best friends with her cousin in which they all live in the same house. So anyways i went to see my friend last night, and i was not talking to her me, and my friend was just talking about things like video games his pet parrot stuff like that, and she comes out of no where with a rude comment for no reason, and this is not the first time it has happened i am getting to where i do not want to go to my friends house because of this. Oh on a side note i catch her looking at me quite a lot she has looked me up and down, but the whole thing is i am tired of getting attitude from someone i am not speaking to, and i have not done anything to what should i do? |

Question: A question for extroverts, sociable and talkative ones? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 07:29 AM PST How do you make friends that easy? You just start conversations with random people (in class / to an event etc) It's not awkward?? I want to know how you do that! I am an extrovert but i'm shy. When i'm with my close friends i talk a lot and i'm really natural but with other people i'm stuck |
Question: Am I doing something wrong helping these people? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 06:37 AM PST I am the only guy in my high school AP physics class. My classmates are all good friends of mine. Most days a few of them ask me for help with their homework so I help them in the library after school. They really appreciate the help and on Fridays they bring treats that we share. They call this is a mini thank you party for my help. We all have a lot of fun doing this. Some times they give me a hug and say thank you and sometimes they give me a kiss on the cheek and say thank you. The problem is these girl's boyfriends are mad a me for being so close to their girlfriends. They tell me to stay away from their girlfriends. I don't think they have any reason to be mad at me. The girls ask for my help. If they don't want me helping their girlfriends, they should take this up with their girlfriends shouldn't they? Am I doing something wrong here by helping these girls? |
Question: Whats the most intersting situation a guy told you whats up bro,or hey bro? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 05:00 AM PST Im mean out of the ordinary in terms of people, places ,things.and a good situation. |
Question: How to be sociable and talkative? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 04:11 AM PST Is it weird to join a random conversation for example in class? I am not sociable and i don't talk to anyone in my class because i feel weird to join random in a conversation or start a conversation with someone because it feel like I bother them and it's weird, but i see many people doing that(i'm sick of that and i wish to be like everyone, sociable and talkative) and i feel like i'm not important and people don't wanna hear me or talk to me! So i wanna know : 1.Is it weird to just join a conversation 2.Will I bother them? 3. Now they know me like the quiet and anti-social one, how to I change that? 4. Do people really wanna talk to me? When i'm with my friends (i have only 3) i talk a lot and i'm natural and extrovert(only with them) but with new people i'm stuck |
Question: How to not make my friend feel excluded? Posted: 26 Nov 2018 03:40 AM PST I'm in a club at my university and my group has to come up with a fundraiser and service project/event, however the semester ends in 3 weeks, but we have the option to push back our fundraiser to next semester. There's this girl in my group who is studying abroad next semester, so she wants to do the service project now (this semester) because she won't be here next semester. However, like I mentioned, there are only 3 weeks (including finals) left of this semester and she's not willing to push back our service event to next semester, because she said that she'll feel excluded. We don't have enough time to coordinate a service event (without adding extra stress) within 3 weeks, and the majority of our groups wants to push it back to next semester, but this girl is not compromising with us. So, what should I do? |

Posted: 25 Nov 2018 10:15 PM PST I don't really care to have many friends. I try to have 1 but that can be hard to find. I used to have drinking buddies in my life and I did quit drinking and going to bars. I'm not a weird guy that nobody wants to be around or talk to. I can hold a conversation with people. I used to go to bars to meet people and I know you won't meet friends at the bar. Since I quit drinking I go go the gym allot or play basketball. I'm going to the movies more. I like to get into youtube. During the weekends I just relax or I find side jobs to do. I'm saving more money now since I quit going to bars and having too many drinking buddies. Sometimes it can be fun but it gets really old. |
